10 Best BL Shows with the Hottest Sexitimes

Because this is English and word order matters, this title means the show itself has to be good AS WELL AS the scenes high heat, as opposed to the best sex scenes in BL. The two are not necessarily the same list. Anyway I tried to pick both high heat and a fun show. This was hard (pun intended).

FYI expect triggers with your high heat.

(Oh right. For me to get a 3/3 heat rating the BL has simulated sex in it or very close to it. And usually one or more other sexual acts like bjs, a-ply, etc...)

So, I went to the spreadsheet, and sorted it by high heat and then ranking, and here is what I got. I think #1 will surprise you. What will not surprise you is it's mostly Thai and Taiwanese.

Should it still rank, all these years later? I am sorry to say, yes it should. University setting, great acting and complex characters, interesting friendship groups, enemies to lovers, seriously angsty coming out, high production values, AMAZING chemistry, multiple BL side couples with all the issues, damaging queer rep, strong seme/uke and husband/wife language, classic tropes and lots of them bad. But it's famous for a reason.

This was KinnPorsche before KinnPorsche.

9. Addicted: Heroin

When Chinese BL was good it was very dirty good and when it was bad it was censored. This is the model for that statement: rich kid falls madly for the genius poor kid in his class, starts an aggressive pursuit, includes kidnapping for love, obsession, stepbrother trope, plus some cheating. I love this BL because of what I could have been. Just stop watching it after The Sex Scene. Okay?

8. Love Stage!!

This BL surprised me with its charm. The acting was good, the leads were appealing, support cast on point, and the production values high. It followed the original manga story arc relatively closely: boy falls in love with girl as a child, grows up to discover girl is actually a very pretty boy. Although there are some quintessentially Thai changes that mellowed, softened, and extended the romance arc and heat levels.

7. HIStory 4: Close to You

Taiwan 2021 Viki

Nancy Chen directs, the side dish plot is basically a pastiche of problematic BL tropes inherited from the above. Great chemistry, high heat, stepbrothers, dubcon, obsession, stalker etc… They sexy tho.

6. My Day

The set up on this one is enemies (also boss/employee) and they don’t like each other to start. But that gets resolved pretty quickly. And then they are some of the cutest, hottest, and best boyfriends ever. This is an under-appreciated BL, IMHO.

Very high production (and heat) and a lot of visual references to live action yaoi gave this show a whiff of Japan but ultimately it stayed firmly in Thailand’s BL camp veering from absurd to appealing to annoying and then back to absurd again. If you can roll with the arranged marriage conceit and very lifestyle D/s relationships, the chemistry is spot on even if the plot is naff and driven by miscommunication. Watch this one for the pretty, give it a pass on depth. (It has depth, it just depth of tongue kisses.)

Office frienamies transition a flaming hot one night stand into a f-buddy relationship that is built on a puppy/cat dynamic (and kinks into it at one point). Our puppy is loyal, smitten, and protective with endlessly longing eyes, while our cat is snarky, prickly, and deeply damaged (ALL THE TRIGGERS). NetJames give lovely high-heat with excellent chemistry and tuned-in performances of surprising depth, unfortunately the story ultimately failed them. Had the show had the strength of its convictions and kept to a tighter, darker, harsher 8 eps it would have been the first high heat to earn a 10/10 from me, but once they fussed with it, it dropped to a solid 8/10. Could have been great but was overworked. Still if high heat is your thing, this one will not let you down.

3. HIStory 3: Trapped

Basically the definition of enemies to lovers from Lin Pei Yu. This is a cop + the mafia man he is chasing but WAIT, they fall in love. Added bonus side couple: assassin and nerd cop ALSO falling in love. It’s great. All the leads are stellar. Its high heat, fun action, and a bit of a mystery drama but pretty about all of it. My only warning is that the main couple doesn’t entirely end up together, it’s implied, but… amorphous ending.

2. Why R U?

No one knows what’s going on, not even the characters, but absolutely no one cares 'cause it's so thirsty. The plot seems to be "great chemistry and make sure Zee's shirts are NEVER BUTTONED PROPERLY." We, the collective, have a pro Hawaiian shirt anti-button stance, so rah rah rah! Still the most confusing thing about this show is: why they didn't just title it YRU? The FighterTuror sex scenes still stand as some of the best every fielded in a Thai BL.

A cute classy office set BL with a few plot raised eyebrows, but no other concerns. ALL THE TROPES plus a general sweet softness that’s pretty rare from Taiwan, who usually prefer to go hard, but all their signature domesticity. There is one high heat sex scene and it's great. But it's the whole package of classic sappy Taiwanese BL that puts this at the very top for me.

Generally just v high heat?

End Of An Era: A-10C Thunderbolt II Demo Team Announces Final Airshow Season

The U.S. Air Force A-10C Thunderbolt II demonstration team is the unit in charge of highlighting the A-10C’s capabilities during airshows across the United States and to recruit, retain and inspire the next generation of Airmen. The team will perform its duty for one last season this year: in fact, as announced on social media, 2024 is going to mark the final airshow season for the Warthog demo.

The farewell tour does not come unexpected though: last month, the 355th Wing at Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, where the Demo team is based, begun divesting its fleet of A-10 aircraft after nearly 50 years.

The first model of the aircraft to arrive at Davis-Monthan was an A-10A on March 2, 1976. This model was assigned to the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing that arrived here in 1971 and replaced the Vought A-7D Corsair flown by the 355th TFW. The 355th TFW was later reclassified as the 355th Tactical Fighter Training Wing, prompting the 354th, 357th, and 358th Fighter squadrons to train U.S. Air Force Pilots on the A-10A aircraft.

The U.S. Air Force has plans to divest the entire fleet of A-10 aircraft within the next 3-5 years, when the iconic jet will be replaced by the F-35.

“The A-10 has been the symbol of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base for many years, and it will continue to be a symbol for the Airmen of DM, a symbol of their commitment, excellence and service,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Scott Mills, 355th Wing commander and A-10 pilot in a public statement. “For now, we’re divesting a single squadron during the summer-fall timeframe of 2024.”

Coinciding with the divestment, Davis-Monthan plans to expand its Rescue Footprint, which may lead to additional utility of the HC-130 aircraft and the HH-60W helicopter. Airframes expected to arrive from the Air Force Special Operations Command include the MC-130 and OA-1K.

“From an Ops personnel standpoint, this divestment arguably allows a more expeditious stand-up of the F-35, even as that program continues to struggle with a variety of delays,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Razvan Radoescu, 355th Operations Group commander.

The aircraft 82-648 was the first to be retired from service at Davis-Monthan on Feb. 6, 2024, and transited from the 354th Fighter Squadron to the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group for final maintenance procedures and display preparation for the Davis-Monthan where hundreds of retired Aircraft are stored.

“There will always be a job for maintainers; it may not be on the A-10, but the Air Force needs maintainers to sustain airpower,” said U.S. Air Force Col. Clarence McRae, 355th Maintenance Group commander, “Perhaps the biggest draw of future maintainers will be in the F-35 community. Airplanes are still going to break, and we are still going to fix them.”

Anyway, there’s still time to attend an airshow and watch the A-10 Demo Team, commanded by Capt Johnson, an Instructor Pilot and Flight Commander assigned to the 357th Fighter Squadron, Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona and previously served also in Texas and Korea, at her second season as the commander of the team.

I love the first three seasons of The Chosen. I've been a big supporter of the show. I've given money to the show to help it reach as many as possible. I love the way it has (at least up through the end of season 3) depicted Jesus. The show has done an excellent job so far upholding Jesus' Biblical teaching. I've been emotionally impacted by the show, and my walk with the Lord is better for it. I've defended the show and the show runner (Dallas Jenkins) through several controversies up until now.

But I can't defend this. I refuse to.

One of the promotional videos of the production of season 4 features a rainbow pride flag. When a reporter asked about it, the official Chosen twitter account defended the video by saying that there are a lot of unbelievers that work on the show, and they hope that everyone will judge the show based on its message, and not the messengers. And that's ridiculous. The people in charge of the show deliberately shared that promotional video, and right before "pride month" too. There's no possible way that this wasn't intentional. They could have edited the flag out; they could have made a statement in support of the Biblical model of marriage (male and female) and upheld the Christian doctrine of sexual purity; they could have corrected the employee responsible, if indeed it was an employee acting alone. They didn't.

If they won't stand against sin, I won't support them or defend them any longer. As much as I'd like to keep watching the show, I'm not going to. There's no place for compromise with sin, not for any reason.

I would like your opinion on this please 🥹 I read somewhere else that according to someone "it's bad" that Taylor hasn't had any other films in 2 years and that his agent should work harder on that one. I do not agree? I mean, in my opinion it was also a conscious choice not to make films until the release of rwrb, I highly doubt he hasn't had any kind of proposal in 2 years or been able to audition. I think the fact that in these two years he focused so much on fashion was a conscious choice to make his name known around as much as possible. If we think about it, the popularity he acquired this year when he only came out with one film is very huge, so actually they worked very well and he is perfectly perceived as an actor and model despite not having had any more projects. We know we will have something in the new year and I can't wait but in my opinion the work they are doing with him now is excellent. Am I wrong? 🥲 What do you think about it?

I agree with you, it’s not bad at all.

First and foremost, because he’s doing whatever the fuck he wants and not what’s the Internet wants. Not working with or knowing him makes it difficult to know exactly all the how-s and why-s but if I had to guess, here are a few of my thoughts about it.

It’s good to remember that movies take FOREVER to be made between the initial talks and the final products. He could have signed or be in talks for things and we wouldn’t know about them before 6, 12 or many more months.

We also know that he had some heavy personal stuff going on in his family this year and I imagine that he dedicated time to his loved ones (and I hope to himself and his health) so he might not has been 100% through the whole year.

All of that being said, my guess is that it’s possible many of the projects/roles that were handed to him before RWRB were… not so good? First and mainly, because he’s so new at this. Also probably because having started as a model and being insanely beautiful very often don’t help to be taken seriously as an actor at first. Perhaps, also because himself didn’t feel confident enough in his acting skills to pursue roles that were actually good for him.

If he was tired of playing the dumb hot guy and wasn’t interested in the roles he could have taken and was growing more confident on his acting shoes with the roles he played in TKB2 and 3 and, obviously, becoming our lord and savior Alex Claremont-Diaz, maybe he became a bit more picky with the characters he wanted to play. I guess having other jobs prevented him from struggling for money so he would be right to be picky in my opinion.

The way his status changed over the past 6+ months has certainly opened more doors for him. Doors leading to many more projects without doubt. Most of them probably still being bad (but more numerous) because that's the way things are and he’s still relatively new even if he’s a big new now. And somewhere in the middle of all of these, there are probably a few exciting things might or might not become actual things. It’s a long and tiring process and if he’s being mature enough to take his time and not rush into the first stupid things just to publicly exist, it’s a very good sign. Having the choice to take time is a luxury for an actor and I sincerely wish that for him. It’ll be good for his career and his mental health on the long run.

Beside, the strike ended like 2 minutes ago and many actors/actresses didn’t announce new things since then so there is really nothing to be worry about for me :)

That, and for all we know, maybe he has signed for a potential sequel of a certain thing, meaning he’ll be busy for months ahead and working on other things could have been postponed for a while, if he made it a priority.

Sorry I tried to be as clear as possible but I’m not sure I’ve succeeded in writing down my feelings about it? I’ve rushed it a bit since I need to go butter some canapés and obviously everything is my very own opinion and not a statement of absolute truth but I hope it’s a decent answer to your question at the very least.

OC’s Lore Summary: A young very active man who gets a little too into the characters and worlds he reads in books. Known as Michelle as he wanted a secret identity like a superhero. For his siblings he puts on small short plays where he and his tail play as either a hero or villain. Sometimes this act comes out of him at nrc and confuses people. Those who know him love it as comical relief which he doesn't mind.

2. Do you always use a reference or do you have it down by heart now?

3. If you do still use references are you more into photos or do you have a model that you use?

4. If you don’t use references anymore, when did you stop having to rely on those?

Thank you. A few friends suggested I goose engagement by incorporating the imploded submersible into a drawing or two or use a stunt hashtag, but I thought that would be in poor taste.

I don’t really use references anymore. I find that looking at a reference every once and awhile helps me realign my memory as I draw. I also enjoy how, in the time between studying references, my recollection of a detail (bollard locations, deck transitions, size of portholes, etc.) will sort of morph into what I think is supposed to be there and then over time that morphed detail becomes a staple of dozens of drawings before I “correct” it, if that makes sense.

Photos, definitely. I have some models, too, but books and magazines are my go to.

When I first began this project I deliberately didn’t look at ANY references. I wanted to capture how I drew the ship when I was a little kid (mostly from memory or from a scant few physical sources.) As the drawings started to pile up I began looking more closely at photos and other renderings (Ken Marschall’s work in particular) for inspiration but never in an attempt to directly copy them.

Summary: Reeves largely creates solutions that would have helped his own life (holding his son back a year and making caretaking the primary source of purpose for men). He presents one-sided evidence, often failing to engage with research critical of his solutions (which are covered below). He also largely ignores (or at least mutes the findings of) DiPrete, who has done a large share of the high quality studies on boys educational deficits over the last 20 years. I believe this is because DiPrete argues for norms targeting pursuit of excellence in academics. Reeves' makes everything caregiving-centric in a way that feels contradictory to DiPrete.

Education: He also completely fails to address where boys deficits actually come from. High quality studies suggest it comes from four sources: lower effortful control (ie self-discipline), lower reading ability, lower writing ability, norms that don't support scholastic achievement. Ideally, a solution would both align children's interests and desires with good academic outcomes (eliminating the effortful control gap, about 40% of the deficit), and create a system in which grades are not writing-centric (things like making debate and effective speaking key parts of English could help here). We would also create norms for boys that help spur academic achievement.

To date, little work has been done on the above. However, the are four key areas that impact boys that can be improved: high levels of cooperative learning can likely reduce deficits in math (almost all of it disappeared); this is easy to implement. Boost school quality: high quality schools eliminate 50-70% of the gap, by my estimation, compared to low quality schools. Consider apprenticeship-degree programs similar to what Germany, Austria and Switzerland use; these countries have no gender deficit in degree attainment. Institute norms for academic achievement among boys--this has to happen after we have a system which works for boys, but is no less important than the other 3.

Statements on how nature affects gender differences Research here is conflicting. He presents it as a closed case for a heavy nature effect. Yes, differences in interests are larger in more equal countries, but we don't know if this is because they started with even larger gaps or whether they grew due to equality (he presumes the latter). What little (admittedly poor-quality) evidence exists, suggests the change in equality doesn't matter to gender gaps. Personally, I agree with his assertions, but they are assertions and shouldn't be presented as fact.

Entering the HEAL fields I agree with his goal here, I don't agree with his methods. He claims that programs to get women into STEM have been seriously successful. I would disagree. After spending what I would estimate is well over $1B in today's dollars, women still only account for 25% of STEM jobs (roughly) and their interest in people vs things has not changed at all in a century (per a massive 2009 study/review). Its hard to raise money for men's issues. Maybe we should try something a little more cost-effective?

Roles for men I agree with his model of female early vs male late caregiving split--this is well supported by what research exists and is grounded in neurological and hormonal-behavioral interaction research, not sociological or psychology evidence (which, IMO, is a good thing). I also agree on his focus on equality.

However, the desire to center the entire male role around caregiving appears to be more emotional than anything. The science is fairly clear that personal growth and purpose are basic human needs (see Deci and Ryan and Ryff's work, respectively). Per surveys, people attach lots of meaning to both work and family and study after study suggests people want to do both. Using "mild social coercion" to enforce men's central role as caregivers deprives a large number of men of the right to find, form and follow their own dreams. It harms men for the same reasons it harmed women. All people must be given the right to center their lives around both. Given the the restrictions it places on boys and men, I believe this is not only extremely harmful, but makes Reeves' overall construct unsupportable.

Because he is considered as Han Jekyun’s right hand man, his promotion is faster than the number of years he worked.

He behaves as if he came in and out of Han Jekyun (?) [T/N not sure about this line?] that there is a theory that among the 3 characters that make up Shim Hyungwoo’s name, ‘Shim’ came from ‘right hand man’ [Shimbok]. That’s because he was able to become an accountant and  finished his studies through Han Jekyun’s support. Han Jekyun’s first scholar. That’s Hyungwoo.

Hyungwoo’s father was a security guard at Taeil Accounting Firm. Hyungwoo grew up seeing his old father take off his guard hat and politely greet the young accountants. From the many accountant who passed by and ignored his father’s greetings, Jekyun was the only one who acknowledged his father. From then on, Hyungwoo wanted to become like Jekyun, he became a role model.

Cheonja is also Howoo's grandmother based on her full character description. She opened the restaurant to feed the hungry, but her cooking skills sadly don't live up to this warm intention. Meanwhile, Inho apparently un-alived himself in front of Howoo as his business face financial difficulties (which he built with the desire to provide cheap and durable apartments as he knows what's it like to be homeless).

What Can We Do About Spotify’s New Payment Policy?

Spotify’s recent announcement has made many small artists mad. (See this post where I’m mad about it for more information as to why or shoot me a message if you have specific questions!)

Here are the things to do in case you don’t want to read my long explanations:

1.) Reach out to your favorite small and large creators.

2.) Look into other streaming platforms.

3.) Ask Companies for Statements and Send Feedback.

4.) Contact News Organizations

5.) Reblog and Share Your Experiences Online

I’ve provided more detail on each step under the cut. Feel free to add to this list, too!

1.) Reach out to your favorite small and large creators!

Not a lot of people are talking about this, one way to fix that is to bring it up, especially to those who have platforms. Podcasters, YouTubers, and especially musical artists. Large artists on Spotify have the clout to make a difference, but getting influencers to spread the word will be helpful as Spotify desperately wants to control how this change is perceived. (They literally framed their policy as giving millions to “new and emerging artists”, though if you read the policy you’ll see that’s not the case.)

Also send your favorite small artist a kind message about their music as many are feeling invalidated by this decision.

If you’re an artist: Politely ask artists you look up to for advice or opinions, express your distress if appropriate. 

If you’re a fan: Politely express your concerns to larger artists and ask if they have an opinion. Also look for ways to help support small creators you enjoy. Not everyone can afford merch or to buy a song outright, but even a message can help keep us motivated.

2.) Look into other streaming platforms. Both artists and consumers:

It’s no secret that streaming platforms pay artists almost nothing per stream, but artists are entitled to their money no matter how little. There are plenty of other streaming sites so if you currently pay to use Spotify, now may be a good time to consider other options before the policy goes into effect in 2024. 

Obviously Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Youtube Music are all options if you’re looking to pay for a new service that’s popular and has a similar catalog/features to Spotify. However Youtube videos on an artists official channel will also help support and there are plenty of other options like Tidal or Sound Cloud. 

Try to see how these companies compare in price and artist payout to make a decision that best fits you.

Also! Streaming Options I Just Learned About:

Resonate is a site that offers a “Pay2Own” model. Essentially, you only pay when you listen, doubling the cost each time, and once you’ve listened to a song enough to have paid about $1.40 it’s yours forever and you don’t have to pay more. And most of that money goes straight to the artist as Resonate is a CoOp.

SonStream is more direct and has you paying about $0.03 per song. Straightforward. If you don’t listen, you don’t pay. Meaning you can adjust how much you spend if needed each month rather than paying a regular subscription. They just put out Android and iOS apps and it’s free to use, meaning you only pay for what/ how much you listen to. If you want to more directly support an artist, see if they’re on there.

For consumers and fans: There are a lot of options for gaining access to music while still supporting artists, go forth and discover what's right for you!

For artists: See what sites will be best for you, if your distributor doesn't distribute to a site you think is good for you, see if you can upload it yourself.

3.) Ask companies for statements and send in your feedback.

Now is an excellent time to attempt to contact Spotify, Distributors, Labels, and other involved companies for statements about this issue. The more they have to talk about it, the bigger deal it will be. Contact their competitors, ask for their statements. Ideally, they’ll be forced to release public statements and add to the spread of news.

Additionally if their shareholders get upset, Spotify will sweat even more. If you’re a shareholder or know one, please open up the conversation.

Now is also an excellent time to tell Spotify that you don’t like this choice as a consumer, then come back in a week and do it again. Keep the pressure on. You give them money to access music while supporting artists. If the artists you choose to listen to aren’t compensated, why give them your money?

Contact other services as well. If you’re a customer for another service, emphasize to them how you dislike Spotify’s decision and want to ensure they keep paying their artists.

If you are an artist: Contact your distributor or label. Tell them your concerns and ask how they are going to help you.

If you are a consumer: Figure out how to give feedback and send it. Try multiple avenues. Always be polite, but firm.

4.) Contact News Organizations

Again, Spotify really wants to control the narrative. We should not let them. Send a tip to your local newspapers or news stations. Contact major news stations. Tweet at them.

If you’re a consumer/ fan: Contact stations and politely ask if they have any intentions to cover this story. Explain how you’re disappointed that other stations aren’t covering it. If someone in your local area has covered it, offer praise (or if it was covered poorly, critique) and ask if they plan to follow up. Point to any public statements from artists or companies.

If you’re an artist: If you are comfortable, try reaching out as above and offer to interview with them (especially if it’s for a local story). It’s good for your business as you can get in front of people, and show how this is affecting artists in your community. If you’re not comfortable with that, you could also release a public statement on social media and point the news in that direction as a source.

5.) Reblog and Share Your Experiences Online

I’ve seen a lot of people say that only fake artists (AI and bots) will be affected by this. If you are a small creator and are comfortable/ safe doing so, share how this policy will affect you. It will help us be seen and help fight that argument that no "real" musicians are being hurt.

And if you’re comfortable, reblog this post or talk about these changes on your socials. Share Spotify’s Statement and point out the flaws in their argument. 

Not everyone comes to Tumblr for this sort of thing, I totally get that. Not everyone wants to be faced with cold reality on their fun app and you are not obligated to engage in cold reality on Tumblr. That’s not what many use Tumblr for, but I find it strange that something like this isn’t being talked about more on this platform. Kind of seems like something Tumblr users would care about, so let’s spread the word and talk about it.

And that’s what I have. Look, some of the things in their update are good. Trying to stop AI shenanigans and people gaming the system is a good thing. However, the 1000 streams per track policy will hurt Spotify’s smallest creators far more than those putting in minimal effort.

B-52 bomber makes emergency landing after engine fire

The fire of the B-52H engine occurs at the moment when the fleet is preparing to be re-remotorized, an update that will allow the model to serve for more decades.

A B-52H Stratofortress bomber at Minot Air Base, North Dakota, made an emergency landing due to an engine fire in early February 23.

All crew members left unharmed, said a spokesman for the base. Asked if the base lane remains open, the spokesman did not want to comment, but said that bomber operations at the base have continued normally since February 27.

A fire in a single engine led the pilot to land the bomber at approximately 12:52 p.m., and the base fire department arrived at the site and extinguished the fire of the aircraft, according to the base's host unit, the 5ª Bomber Wing. The bomber is powered by eight engines and was designed to fly and land safely in case of failures of up to two engines.

“First of all, the 5ª Bomber Wing is extremely grateful to all our aviators who arrived home safely,” the wing commander, Colonel Daniel Hoadley, said in the statement. "I would like to recognize our excellent base firefighters for their quick response."

The popular unofficial Facebook page "amn/nco/snco" reported the incident for the first time, with an anonymous and unconfirmed post that "a CSD (constant speed unit that drives the generator) caught fire on landing and burned that engine and part of the wing." Subsequently, the page posted an alleged image of the engine, showing great damage.

It is currently not known what caused the fire and the incident is under investigation, following the standard protocol for accidents involving military operations.

The last major public accident with a B-52 occurred in 2017, when an engine crashed from the aircraft during a training flight in Minot. The pilot successfully landed the bomber without incident and all the aviators on board came out unharmed, but one of his Pratt & Whitney TF33-P-3/103 turbofan engines fell into a depopulated area.

In May 2016, during a routine training mission at Andersen Air Base in Guam, an accident destroyed a B-52 bomber. The pilot of the 69º Expeditionary Bomber Squadron noticed problems during takeoff and began abortion procedures. However, the braking parachute failed, causing the aircraft to exceed the power limits of the brake system, overtake the runway and catch fire. All seven crew members escaped, with one receiving treatment for minor injuries. The total loss of the aircraft was valued at US$ 112 million.

The U.S. Air Force foresees the upgrade of the B-52 engines in the late 2020s or early 2030s with the Rolls Royce F130 engine, intended to be an individual replacement for its current TF33 engines in double nacelles.

We are thrilled to announce that we are on track to complete initial F130 engine testing for the @usairforce B-52J by the end of this year.

The F130 is a militarized version of the company's commercial BR725, which the U.S. Air Force already operates on its VIP C-37 and E-11 BACN (Battlefield Airborne Communications Node) transport aircraft. Rolls Royce will supply the engines, while Boeing, the original manufacturer of Stratofortress, will integrate them into the aircraft.

Four B-52s from Minot Air Base were sent to Guam in late January to support the Pacific Air Force mission. The bombers recently participated in several public missions, including the three-week Cope North multilateral exercise and a one-day exercise with Philippine fighters over the South China Sea this month. In addition, two of the bombers performed overfloats at the Singapore Airshow last week.
