The first 2 EP's from Dry Cleaning are finally back in print!

"Sweet Princess" and "Boundary Road Snacks And Drinks" were originally compiled on vinyl back in 2019 on the small-run "It's OK!" label, but swiftly went out of print barely a year later with the release of the band's acclaimed debut LP and subsequent surge in popularity.

In the 3 years since, prices for the original EP collection have skyrocketed and a re-issue was long overdue. Finally now, these excellent EP's are back in print via 4AD Records.

We have the Transparent Blue colour press in-stock now for $50. Definitely worth checking out for anyone who dug the LP's but never went backwards to explore their early work. You won't be disappointed!

Pixies “Here Comes Your Man” 1989. 12″ single, 4AD Records. “Here Comes Your Man” was the Pixies’ second single from their ‘89 release Doolittle, and one of their poppiest songs ever (written by Black Francis as a teenager about hobos riding the trains; the rest of the band apparently called it the Tom Petty song and while I never thought about it before, it does have a relaxed Petty-pop twang). Quite honestly, “Here Comes Your Man” is one of my least favorite Pixies songs (though it’s still pretty good). The other tracks on the 12″ are much better, much more Pixie-esque. “Wave of Mutilation (UK Surf)” is great - dark and the remix (the regular version of “Wave of Mutilation” is also on Doolittle) has a relaxed vibe but not Petty poppy, more surfer don’t give a shit. Side B of the 12″ has “Into the White” - strong industrial beat, a great guitar riff and Kim Deal vocals (always a treat!), and “Bailey’s Walk” - a brief loud-quiet-loud screamer.
