Citroën Eco 2000 SL10, 1984. The Eco 2000 project was a 50% government-funded program to come with a vehicle capable of achieving 2 litres per 100 km fuel consumption (117mpg). Citroën made a number of Eco 2000 prototypes of which the SL10 was the final and ultimate version. It was presented at the Paris Motor Show weighing just 450kg and powered by a 3 cylinder 750 cc engine. It didn't quite hit the target, achieving 2.1 litres per 100 km at 90kph. Peel P50
The Peel P50 is a three-wheeled microcar originally made from 1962 to 1965 by the Peel Engineering Company on the Isle of Man, and then from 2011 to present. It was listed in the 2010 Guinness World Records as the smallest production car ever made. The original model has no reverse gear, but a handle at the rear allows the very lightweight car to be maneuvered physically when required.
Designed as a city car, it was advertised in the 1960s as capable of seating "one adult and a shopping bag." The vehicle's only door was on its left side and equipment included a single windscreen wiper and one headlight. Standard colours were Daytona White, Dragon Red, and Dark Blue. The 1963 model retailed for £199 when new (about £6,600 in 2019, or US$8,500). The company produced 50 P50s, of which 27 are known to still exist, one of which was sold for a record US$176,000 at a Sotheby's auction in March 2016.
In 2010 Peel Engineering Ltd. in England reinstated manufacturing of the P50 and Trident models from its premises in Sutton-in-Ashfield, England. Externally this car is very similar to the original, with the same dimensions and kerb weight as the original, but with mechanical differences in the suspension, steering, and drive-train, and a fully functioning reverse gear, ensuring they are road-legal under today's rules. Production included petrol models with a 49 cc four-stroke engine and electric models with an electric moped motor and gelled-electrolyte batteries. The top speed of both cars is about 28 mph (45 km/h).

The 1957-'62 Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformabile Offered Big Style In A Small Package
In Italy, the size and cost of an item traditionally have little bearing on the quality of its design; a consumer product can be comparably inexpensive and small, and still exude panache. The Autobianchi Bianchina Trasformabile exemplified this, as a chic, once-relatively-affordable interpretation of Fiat’s tiny Nuovo 500 that’s now in high demand.
The populist 500 had been the basis for countless variants over the decades, both coachbuilt and homemade. The introduction of the all-new postwar Fiat was quickly followed by that of a related upmarket variant representing a joint venture between that automaker, Pirelli, and the venerable firm Bianchi; the result was Autobianchi, and its first product was the Bianchina Trasformabile. Advertised as La piccola vettura di grande classe (“The small car of great class”), the Bianchina was based on the 500 platform and shared its mechanicals, but cloaked everything in very different styling credited to Fabio Luigi Rapi, head of Fiat’s special coachwork department.
Trasformabile (“transformable”) was both the name and functional description of the 117.5-inch-long car’s open-top body style. It echoed that of the prewar Ford Model A-400 Convertible Sedan and postwar Nash Rambler Convertible Landau, having a soft top that slid back on tracks to fold atop the rear deck. This design was enjoying a renaissance, similarly used in the contemporary Vespa 400 microcar. Compared to the Vespa, the Bianchina was more delicate in form and detailing, and better equipped; it had roll-down windows instead of sliding panes in its rear-hinged doors, a higher quantity and quality of interior trimmings, and greater displacement and an additional gear enhancing motivation.
Autobianchi’s two-seater — its thinly padded rear bench was for packages or small, agreeable children — was a bit more powerful than its French-built competitor, too, with a four-stroke, 479-cc OHV two-cylinder engine mounted aft of the independently suspended, driven rear wheels. The first 50 examples of that air-cooled inline-twin offered 13 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque. Two more horses were on tap for the regular-production 1957 First Series A model, and 1958-’59s (First Series B) made 16.5 hp. Starting with 1959’s Special First Series, this car’s engine was upsized to 499.5-cc; 17.5 hp and 26 lb-ft were its standard output. The sporty Special variant used a Weber 26 IMB carburetor and 8.6:1 compression ratio to make 21 hp and 25 lb-ft of torque; this was said to be capable of 110 km/h or 68 mph. On all, drum brakes hid behind 12-inch-diameter wheels mounting Pirelli tires.
Italy’s Bianchina Classic Club (bianchinaclub.com) suggests Trasformabile production totaled 35,500 units. The club website has a reasonably detailed history of this model, spelling out its evolution into Special First Series (1959), Second Series (1959-’60), the 1960 Special and 140 B export models (the latter, our feature car, sold new in the U.S.), and the Third Series D and Special D Second Series of 1961-’62. This organization also celebrates other Bianchina variants: the Quattroposti sedan, fully open Cabriolet, Panoramica hatchback and panel van, and Furgoncino truck. Decades on, the attractive looks and clever convertibility of the Trasformabile would inspire a Japanese tribute in the form of the 1991 Nissan Figaro, and in the last year, two restored Trasformabiles have sold at U.S. auctions for almost $90,000.

Per il suo nuovo quadriciclo eletrico, la Fiat ha scelto di utilizzare il nome "Topolino", conosciuto ed evocativo, per richiamare la prima Fiat 500, l'auto iconica che ha rivoluzionato il concetto di vettura di proprietà. Prodotta dalla Fiat dal 1936 al 1955, la Fiat 500, comunemente nota come Topolino, è un'auto iconica perché ha creato l'idea di mobilità per le persone. SORELLA DI CITROËN AMI E DI OPEL ROCKS-E La Fiat Topolino è la "sorella" della Citroën Ami e dell'Opel Rocks-e (Opel, Citroën e Fiat fanno parte di Stellantis), condividendo con esse la medesima base tecnologica. Si tratta di un quadriciclo elettrico leggero a due posti progettato per la mobilità in città. Può essere guidato anche dai quattordicenni muniti di patente AM (il patentino per utilizzare veicoli con motori fino a 50 cc); i ragazzi possono circolare unicamente da soli fino al compimento dei 16 anni, dopodiché possono trasportare dei passeggeri. La Fiat non si è sbilanciata sulle caratteristiche tecniche, tuttavia, condividendo la medesima base tecnologica con le "sorelle" francesi e tedesche, molto probabilmente sarà dotata di un motore elettrico da 8 Cv, sufficienti a spingerla fino a 45 km/h di velocità massima, alimentato da una batteria agli ioni di litio da 5,5 kWh che consente un'autonomia di circa 75 km.  OMAGGIO ALLA DOLCE VITA —   Anche le dimensioni dovrebbero essere le medesime della Citroën Ami e dell'Opel Rocks-e, con una lunghezza di 240 cm. A differenza delle "sorelle", tuttavia, la Fiat Topolino è più "stilosa", con una configurazione da Spiaggina, priva di sportelli e con tetto con capote in tela. Molto particolari le due corde che delimitano le portiere, i cerchi in lega con un design che si rifà alla vecchia Topolino, e la trama a righe dei rivestimenti interni. De succesvolle introductie van de beste offroad gerichte allroad en TET wapen in 2021 was wel lekker overzichtelijk. Namelijk verkrijgbaar in 1 kleur: rood (Extreme Red). Voor komend jaar krijgt deze kleine topper niet alleen een kleine update maar verschijnt het ding ook nog eens in een 2e kleur! De update bestaat verder uit het standaard voorzien zijn van handkappen.

Honda’s lichtgewicht dual-purpose tool, de CRF300L, is ontworpen als een motor die even wendbaar is in het terrein als in de stad. Zijn blijvende populariteit sinds de lancering als CRF250L in 2012 kreeg een extra impuls toen zijn cilinderinhoud met 50 cc werd verhoogd en hij 4 kg lichter werd voor 2021. Het succes is te danken aan verschillende factoren: de onmiddellijk herkenbare CRF-styling met scherpe randen, een responsieve eencilindermotor, een zesversnellingsbak met slipkoppeling, een wendbaar frame, slanke proporties en lange veerwegen.

Voor 2023 krijgt de CRF300L een geheel nieuwe Swift Gray kleur, met nieuwe zwarte voorvork beschermkappen, zwarte achterbrug, zwart frame en fraaie oranje graphics. Dit komt naast de variant met traditionele Extreme Red kleurstelling, die nu zelf ook standaard voorzien is van bijpassende fuseekappen.

Buongiorno, allora chi pensa che l'elettrico sia il futuro e che sia un'ottima invenzione legga qui le vere impressioni vissute ieri da un test drive con la Alfa Romeo Junior Speciale elettrica. Percorso fatto solo autostrada e centro città:
Ma prima di lasciare le impressioni vissute di guida ecco qualcosa sulla vettura, essendo alfista appassionatissimo, avendo posseduto più modelli, sia recenti che vecchi, tra l'altro come ultima il Tonale 1.5 130 CC.
Le mie impressioni della Junior sono in generali buone su linea ed interni. Anche il colore rosso come nel test drive la rende molto bella. E' una SUV piccola e quindi a livello di spazio molto limitata con un allestimento interno della versione Speciale molto accurato, cruscotto ordinato, il tablet multimedia angolato vs. lato guida bello, ma solo un po' complicato da gestire rispetto ad esempio Tonale.
La guida (versione elettrica): la mia prima esperienza con una vettura elettrica è comunque negativa e conferma ciò che sempre saputo e confermato da veri ingegneri nel settore automobilistico e quindi pochi sono gli aspetti positivi: 1) girando nei centri urbani pare abbia avere consumi bassissimi però solo se non si accelera molto, quindi viaggiando a velocità costante. 2) una buona ripresa anche perché il motore elettrico non ha un vero cambio (si va solo o avanti senza marce o indietro oltre alla modalità di parcheggio e neutro. 3) in discesa la batteria si ricarica anche se di poco (ca. 2 km ovvero l'1% su ca. 2 km), ma che vai a perdere già in pianura all'istante, in parole povere un inganno, inoltre la rete di fornimento elettrico in Germania è scarsissima. A destinazione raggiunta una gran parte delle postazioni erano fuori uso e non solo da ieri, e quindi immaginate chi arriva con 2% di autonomia in un posto tra l'altro mai stato e devi andare in giro a trovare postazioni funzionanti di ricarica elettrica... buona notte a chi poi rimane a piedi. Siamo stati fortunati e molto anche perché stavamo già giocando col pensiero del carroattrezzi.
In autostrada però il motore elettrico è un disastro su tutto ed è assolutamente sconsigliato.
Avevamo (eravamo in due quindi c'è pure la conferma e parere dell'altra persona in questo caso identico) ricevuto la vettura dal concessionario con 106 km, ovvero 36%, di autonomia che sembrerebbe poter bastare a sufficienza per fare un bel giretto e quindi abbiamo scelto una città molto bella da visitare (confluenza del Danubio con l'Inn) a circa 50 km dal concessionario: la città di Passau in Bavaria (Germania), facendo solo autostrada e sapendo che il motore elettrico comunque non si può tirare molto per l'autonomia limitata e per il pericolo che non si possa raggiungere la prossima colonnina di ricarica, abbiamo viaggiato (che poi x un'autostrada senza limiti di velocità in generale ti fa piangere lacrime di dolore x non dover sfruttate l'occasione di viaggiare velocemente) a 110 km orari e siamo rimasti scioccati a dir poco. Con clima e radio accesa abbiamo raggiunto la meta con autonomia residua pari a 0 km e 2% di batteria disponibile che ci ha permesso di raggiungere ancora una postazione di ricarica tra l'altro veloce. Quando la batteria raggiunge il 3% la il motore va in sistema di emergenza ciò ne limita il funzionamento.
Queste stazioni non forniscono ricariche come da pubblicità in 15 minuti raggiungendo l'80% di batteria ma in più di 40 minuti ad un costo spaventoso: 41 Euro x 87% e 352 km di autonomia che come già menzionato prima non sono km di autonomia veri perché al ritorno stessa cosa: per 50 km in autostrada, sempre con autoradio e clima accessi, e visto di autonomia ricaricata superiore che avuto in partenza abbiamo provato con una media superiore ovvero 120 km orari. Risultato: a destinazione arrivati con 63% e 228 km di autonomia (non è uno scherzo) quindi quasi 130 km di autonomia persi su 50 km di strada con media di 120 km orari in autostrada, quindi fatevi un bel calcolo sull'ecologia e tutela dell'ambiente con vetture dotate di motore elettrico nel confronto a vetture con motore endotermico.
Giudizio finale: un disastro ed inganno totale da parte delle case automobilistiche, con l'unico obbiettivo della politica che si possa riconosce è di rallentare il traffico, altro non si riesce a dire anche a livello ambientale dove l'elettrico è in gran lunga più inquinante del motore a combustione, inoltre ammesso già da vari governi, avendo già dovuto ammettere che la corrente elettrica solamente da fonti rinnovabili e pulite praticamente non è possibile, questi sono i fatti reali!

Benelli cultivó un éxito con las TRK 502, por eso era de esperar que aparecieran versiones de mayor cilindrada.
Así es como la firma italiana lanzó dos nuevos modelos de su gama trail: las Benelli TRK 702 y TRK 702X 2023. Ambas motos destacan por separado. La 702 tiene como objetivo los terrenos asfaltados, mientras que la 702 X esta pensada para rutas variadas y posee características off-road.
Ambos modelos mantienen el motor de sus hermanas menores, pero con una mayor cilindrada. Este consta de un bicilíndrico refrigerado por líquido de 698 cc que rinde 76,2 CV a 8.750 rpm y 68,2 Nm de par máximo a 6.250 rpm. Además cuenta con una distribución de doble árbol de levas en cabeza y cuatro válvulas por cilindro.
El chasis es el característico tubular de acero que también posee la TRK 502. Pero lo que diferencia a estos modelos nuevos es la horquilla invertida delantera de 50 milímetros y 140 milímetros de recorrido. Además de un basculante de aluminio con monoamortiguador trasero ajustable.
