And now that all the polls are over... here are the NPCs from most to least smashable!
Arvelle - 90.9% Galore - 87.9% Merrigan - 86.1% Glass & Gloss - 85% Arlo - 84.1% Fiona - 83.7% Patches - 82.7% Pinkerton - 77.8% Sage - 77.2% Scrying Imperial - 76.7% Avery - 76.1% Upsky Dan - 74% Joxar - 72.8% Crim - 72.5% Windsinger - 72.5% Shadowbinder - 72.1% Roundsey - 71.3% Marva - 69.9% Tomo - 68.7% Susie - 63.5% Flamecaller - 60.9% Spritfire - 58.7% Baldwin - 58.4% Luminax - 57.9% Gladekeeper - 56.5% Higgins - 55.6% Stormcatcher - 55.6% Earthshaker - 51.8% Tidelord - 49.8% Arcanist - 49.5% Velya - 49.2% Plaguebringer - 48% Lightweaver - 47.3% Swipp - 44.4% Icewarden - 38.9% Edgar - 32.7% Pearl - 28.4% Scribbles - 24.7%
Congrats to Arvelle for not only winning, but being the only one to get over 90%, which is even more impressive considering her poll was one of the most voted on too!
Also congrats to Sage for getting into the top 10 despite not being a dragon, and to the Scrying Imperial for getting into the top 10 despite not even having a name. And not a single deity reached the top 10, with the highest one being Windsinger at number 15! And Icewarden being the most unfuckable deity, which honestly, expected. ACAB. I really thought Plaguebringer would have done better though! (Especially since Luminax of all things got a majority smash! Didn't see that one coming.)
Swipp had a rather poor showing, we love dilfs unless they actually have kids I guess. And the disparity between Spitfire and the other two couriers...the allure of his edgy color combo gave him such an edge.
And 69% of you wanted to smash a piece of cardboard. Nice.

Congratulations to Pyhäjoki for winning the Finland City Flag Wars!
It seems that my followers can’t get enough of the goose on Pyhäjoki, North Ostrobothnia’s flag! It defeated Raseborg with 55.6 percent of the vote. If your favorite Finnish city didn’t make it into the competition, they might get a chance with the Finland City Heraldry Wars, a tournament I will eventually hold. I will announce my next tournament soon, but I will be taking a bit of a break from tournaments before then and continue holding bonus polls in the meantime. Let me know if you think Pyhäjoki deserved the win and what flag or heraldry tournaments you would like to see in the future!

Wasn't this safety car thing a fuck up from race direction tho? Since it did not pick up Lando he basically got a lap in at VSC speed, versus the rest of the drivers at SC car speed. If the safety car picks up the race leader (as he should), they all get bunched up and by the time Lando gets to pit he probably comes out p4/5. Or does the safety car not have to pick up the leader of the race?
Article 55.6:
The safety car will join the track with its orange lights illuminated and will do so regardless of where the leader is.
Nowhere in the regulations does it state that the leader has to be the first driver collected by the safety car (as that would be stupid if they had to wait for the leader to come round)
There have been cases before when P2 was the first driver collected by the SC or a driver in the midfield was the first collected by the SC, hence why you sometimes get lapped cars at the front of the safety car pack.
Norris was lucky that when the safety car came out he was ahead of it, he just has to go at VSC speed until he catches the pack. This is pretty standard.
Typically the SC may wave cars through until it gets to the leading car, but in this situation because the incident was in S1 the SC couldn’t let the others pass until they had cleared sector 1. Hence everyone (other than Norris) got bunched up behind the safety car until S1 and the incident had been passed.
So no. There was no fuck up from race direction. He wasn’t gifted a win. This is standard procedure when the safety car comes out behind the lead driver and they have to pass an incident zone.

Image ID: [A tumblr post with the following text "To the aroace community. I want to write a story with an aroace protagonist who does in fact feel love for other people but they are specifically familial and platonic bonds.
These will be massive points in the story as things can only happen with the love and trust they have for each other, in fact the main character at one point literally trusts both of the others with their life ti prove their love.
But there will be nothing romantic or sexual and the character will not enter a relationship."
Text ends. There is a poll with the title "How do we feel about it?" The results are "I like it!" With 33.7% of the votes, "I LOVE it!" With 55.6% of the votes, "I dislike it" with 0.3% of the votes, "I don't think this story should have any kind of love" with zero votes and "results (please don't vote this it skews the results :( )"
End ID.]
Okay... follow up question
(More story details below the poll please look before you vote)
I love this story so much but it will be incredibly disheartening to start work on it after such a successful poll only to get few to no readers
Extra information on the story:
It's a superhero story
There will be dragons
This will be the first of a trilogy
If this story gets finished and the other two written, future characters will include a disabled black lesbian and a pansexual boy with intense anxiety
Future stories will also include robots and aliens
I plan to cover themes such as feeling different and alone and not being sure why and the importance of strong bonds
The main character is a nonbinary transmasculine person in addition to being aroace
While these will be fully original stories with no fandom affiliations, I will make the WIPs public and the finished version will be free to read. Even if I end up chasing my crazy dreams of publishing it, a free version will always be available online.
