How were you introduced to roleplaying as a whole? I was introduced to roleplaying when I entered a Big Brother RP amino thingy when I was 12, and I won the whole thing while mascaraing as like double my age. It was crazy back then.

How were you introduced to TOA?: I was looking at Joshua art, and then I stumbled across an old Joshua muse which lead me to TOA. I know it sounds a bit crazy.

Do you have any pets?: I have a dog named Mellow! I will protect him with my life. He is my pride and joy.

What is your favorite time of year and why? (Season, holiday, general period): Favorite season is Fall, favorite holiday is Christmas, and my favorite general period of time is whenever I don't have school.

Why is it called ‘Soldered Wires’?

Much like soldering itself, this AU is an attempt to melt together the canon of the FNAF games, books, theories (all of Game Theory), fan-created media inspired from the franchise (TheLivingTombstone music, Squimpus McGrimpus VHS videos, etc), and personal canon in an attempt to create a cohesive story of the Emily & Afton families throughout the events of FNAF.

Who is Sammy Emily?

Sammy Emily is the twin brother of Charlie Emily and son of Henry Emily in the Silver Eyes trilogy of books. It was implied that he was taken and murdered by William Afton at Fredbear’s Diner when the twins were very young, before it was revealed that it was Charlie herself who was killed. Other than that, we have no other information regarding his personality or current whereabouts in the books’ canon.

Why are you so obsessed with Sammy Emily if he was a minor character in the books?

It’s very evident that the canon of the books, while a separate canon from the games’ own canon, are frequently used to fill gaps in the lore of the games (see any Game Theory video made after Sister Location). Characters mentioned in the books have become canon names in the games. Sammy Emily’s existence in the games’ lore is completely unknown (as far as we know as of August 2022), so this AU is our take on IF he was canon in the games.

Cookies for Squirtle Community Day and Pokemon Go's 7th anniversary!

This June (June 7, to be exact) marks 5 years of Implausibly Average. I've been doing so many goofy things on the internet, and for so long, and I'm excited to do many more years of goofy things.

I don't have anything specific planned for the 5-year anniversary, but I do have some things I'd like to "return" to. For example...

Our Kingdom Hearts let's play series, Dive Into The Heart, should start Season 02 this month! We're going to be playing Re:Chain of Memories, and I've already been recording little bits here and there. Speaking of wildly long-winded let's play series...

TACKLE all of POKEMON, our series dedicated to playing all the mainline Pokemon games, will start back up again! Season 01 is all about Generation 2, so we'll beat Pokemon Crystal, then play Gold as an "Easy" Nuzlocke randomizer and Silver as a "Hard" Nuzlocke randomizer. I'd also like to announce that Season 02 will be all about Pokemon Stadium 2, so look forward to that. Speaking of season 02...

Season 02 of We Have The Runs, our lets play series focused around run-based video games, will be 10 episodes of Slay The Spire. How far up the tower will we get? How many unlocks will we unlock? Will we beat a daily challenge? Find out soon! And speaking of climbing towers...

We will swing back to the Insomniac Spider-Man series, with Implausibly Average's Josh Average's Marvel's Spider-Man Miles Morales! We beat the first game and it's DLC, so it's time to what the Miles Morales stand-alone expansion brings to the table. Hell, maybe we'll even play Spider-Man 2 someday if I can get a PS5! Speaking of "maybe someday"...

For our wrestling fans out there, someday this month (hopefully) will be the 7th AWF event, Make Your Wish - In Your Browser VII. This event is a combination between the Royal Rumble and the Money In The Bank events, where there will be a men's and women's 30-Person rumbles. The winner of each rumble will get The Wish, the ability to make a match for any title, at any time, with any stipulation. You can see the promo/intro for this event here.

As of right now, that's all I have to announce! I have a bunch of other plans and ideas, and I'm always working on new and fun things. It's been a fun 5 years! Let's have even more fun!

(Late again!)(Over) Analyzing Pokemon Hints (35)

Life didn't want me to post the last two days. Anyway... Longer post. I'll be going over some things for Pokemon Masters EX, Unite, and the SV Tera Raid event. In Masters EX, the Updating the Pokemon Center event has begun, and will run until July 7th. There is a seasonal event, the Exciting Treasure Hunt story event, which features Gardenia & Dhelmise, and Acerola & Jellicent. This event runs until the 15th. And there is a new training mode that introduces the Sync Pairs Gladion & Weavile, Nemona & Lycanroc, Wally & Altaria, Hugh & Unfezant, and Marnie & Scrafty. One interesting thing with this is it features a rival from each era of games starting with Hugh- Hugh (BW2)(gen 5) Wally (ORAS)(gen 6) Gladion (SM)(gen 7) Marnie (SwSh)(gen 8) Nemona (SV)(gen 9) Each of these rivals also had a story line. It's probably just adding in a bunch of new Sync Pairs who happen to be rivals, but it's interesting they're the ones with the stories (compared to Brendan/May, Callum/Serena, and Hau).

Unite just got a Noble Style Holowear for Mimikyu, and it's been announced Ho-Oh will be added to the game on July 19th, Unite's 3rd anniversary. I'm thinking Mimikyu is here for fun, though it is cute it's added around the same time Acerola is getting a new outfit in Masters EX. Ho-Oh could be hinting at Johto remakes. In Scarlet and Violet, there is a Tera Raid for Dragon Tera Type Sceptile. The event will run again next weekend, July 5th - 7th. I'm guessing this is because Mega Sceptile is part Dragon. We did recently have the Swampert event, so I'm wondering if we'll be getting another Blaziken event soon. The July 7th is a bit interesting to me. It makes sense the Tera Raid would end then, but the Masters EX event could have run a bit longer. Most likely unconnected to this, the last day for Anime Expo is also the 7th. Also, the seasonal event in Masters EX ending on the 15th and the Unite 3rd anniversary on the 19th is a bit interesting. Maybe something big will be announced around the 19th? This would probably be something for Unite like announcing anything new that will be coming up this year. Long post this time. That should be it for this week, and hopefully next week will let me post on Wednesday.

Pokemon GO's 7th Anniversary has been announced!

Jul6 at 10am until Jul12 at 8pm, local time

Wartortle and Blastoise party hat debut

Bonuses: Increased chance of becoming Lucky Friends, increased chance of Pokémon becoming Lucky through trades, and a chance of finding 7, 77—or more!—Gimmighoul Coins when you spin a PokéStop with a Golden Lure Module.

In addition to the above, each day of the 7th Anniversary Party will have its own unique bonuses: Jul6: 2× XP for catching Pokémon, Jul7: 2× Stardust for catching Pokémon, Jul8: 2× Candy for catching Pokémon, Jul9: 1/2 Egg Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed in an Incubator on this day, Jul10: Friendship levels will increase twice as fast, Jul11: 2× Candy for transferring Pokémon, and Jul12: 2× XP for evolving Pokémon.

Wild encounters are Squirtle in a party hat, Pikachu in a cake hat, Togedemaru, Meowth, and Ponyta and rarely Galar Ponyta and Absol. There will be rotating sets of wild starters too:

Raid Pokemon are: 1⭐ Party hat Kanto starters and Pikachu in a Cake hat. 3⭐ Magneton, Lapras, Flareon, Snorlax, and Sealeo. 5⭐ are the Legendary Birds. Mega Raids will feature Mega Blastoise.

Anniversary-themed Field Research tasks will be available! Complete them to earn encounters with various starter Pokemon Pokémon, such as Bulbasaur, Cyndaquil, Mudkip, and more! Some Field Research tasks will also award Mega Energy for the following Pokémon: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Sceptile, Blaziken, and Swampert!

$2 Timed Research: Complete the event-themed research tasks, such as hatching seven Eggs or evolving seven Pokémon, to receive the following: 1× Incubator, 1× Super Incubator, 1× Premium Battle Pass, 1× Lucky Egg, 1× Rocket Radar, 1× Star Piece, 1× Incense, 77,777 XP, and an encounter with Pikachu wearing a party hat. The Timed Research must be completed and their rewards must be claimed before Jul12 at 8pm, local time

The return of the Kanto Masterwork rewarding Shiny Mew. It costs $5. Tickets for this Masterwork Research will be available to purchase until Jul12 at 8pm, local time.

Squirtle Community Day Classic held Jul9, from 2pm to 5pm, local time.

Happy Anniversary, Pokemon Go!!!

Went out for strawberries today, and encountered my first group Raid! I had a blast with this family, and they all took part in this game together! The young’um there was just getting started, after sharing an account with his mom up until now. Even their Grandma Melody was in on it! (Although she was Mystic when everyone else was alor, but we can forgive her this transgression. :P)

All and all, just what I needed today, and I couldn’t be happier that it just happened to occur on the anniversary!!
