I saw a post saying along the lines that pointing out inaccessibility behind walkable cities is a psy op and I'm going to start biting
I DONT LIKE CARS AS MUCH AS THE NEXT GUY. I AM AN ENVIRONMENTALIST.
I literally study sustainability and in my classes I constantly have to ask my fellow classmates and professors "and what is your plan for people who can't ride bikes?" "How will this affect public transportation?" "Will every person with mobility issues just be given a $50,000 powered wheelchair so they can go up hills unassisted?" Like I am an environmentalist. I'm not a fucking oil simp trying to be a wet blanket on your uwu solarpunk future. I'm making sure disabled people like me aren't fucked over cause you forgot about us or made assumptions. Don't give me that "I didn't mean walkable like that" shit. Then call it cities with sustainable mobility or something. Just giving us ramps and elevators doesn't automatically make a city accessible (and most places even the most eco friendly don't do even that correctly). Please talk to disabled people. Include our criticisms and voices in your designs. I hate six lane traffic too! But unless you volunteer to carry me and every other mobility impared person everywhere (without complaining), places need to be accessible and eco-friendly
Just cause someone points out an issue doesn't mean they are a psy op I am taking that word away from you until you can use it correctly

Would you mind helping me find a teacup? It was a white ceramic (I think?) teacup with a yellow lip and strawberries. It used to be my mother's but I lost it in a move a few years ago. I wanna try and get a full set because I KNOW there used to be a matching plate at least. I drew a picture if that helps!
I've got some matches! Nothing that lines up perfectly I'm afraid, but here's what I was able to find:
Mikasa, Strawberry Festival
Wedgwood, Strawberry Hill
Sheffield, Strawberries N' Cream
Brick Oven, Strawberries
Nikko, Spring Valley
It was surprisingly difficult to find patterns with yellow trim specifically! Gilded trim is far and away the most common so I have included one or two that are gilded but yellowy still. Also an unexpectedly large number of strawberry patterns have green trim for some reason.
I really hope one of these is a match, or somewhat close! If not, feel free to tell me which of these is closest, and I'll keep digging in that direction. There are a lot of strawberry patterns out there, so it's likely I barely scratched the surface here!
And a fun fact for you: Mikasa, the first brand listed here, produces a lot of bone china. Despite it being viewed as generally fancier or higher quality, bone china originated as a substitute for the authentic hard-paste porcelain formula! Hard-paste is made with kaolin specifically, and countries outside of China struggled to figure out that formula for many years. Bone china uses a mixture of various minerals as well as bone ash, which (unlike other earlier soft-paste formulas) creates a durable and most importantly thin structure that doesn't collapse as easily in the kiln. The most common way people determine if bone china is authentic is holding it up to a light source and seeing how translucent the body is!

NO. IF A LIVE ACTION HAS TO HAPPEN, THESE ARE MY RULES.
Link is mute and uses sign language throughout the movie
No romance arc. NO ROMANCE ARC
Multiple villains, not just Gannon. I want to see some big boss representation in the form of horrifying monsters.
Accurate representation of Gerudo women in a non-misogynistic way. Give me badass women who won't let Link into their city. Give me people who respect their rules because they're terrifying. Give me ninja ladies.
Original score with elements of past games. I need to hear all of my favorite songs or I'll cry, but I also want new songs.
NO DUMB CGI MONSTERS. PRACTICAL EFFECTS ONLY. MAKE THEM CRUSTY LIKE THE DARK CRYSTAL.
On that note, Zelda is far less child friendly than Mario. So it needs to be a movie marketed to older audiences. I don't think I'll be able to live with a Zelda movie full of dumb puns. I'd love it to be a dark cottagecore, old style fantasy movie, along the lines of The Dark Crystal and Neverending Story. Please give me a Teen and up, borderline scary, action packed with emotional elements movie that looks like it came straight out of the 80s.
Thank you and good day.

so we've talked about the merits of a total drama island/the office style live action httyd adaptation but i would also 100% be behind a live action version that looks like an 80s fantasy movie with soft, hazy lighting, practical effects, and puppets/animatronics for the dragons
that's not what we're gonna get but it's what we deserve goddamnit
bonus points if they continue to httyd 2 and then just continue without the dragons leaving

Y'know it was REALLY goddamn evil and nefarious that the oil fields gave my mom (a single mom working 3 jobs to raise 2 kids) a single $5,000 check in exchange for her signing a nondisclosure to never complain about them.
Of course we fucking took the money. Even with her working 1 full-time job and 2 part-time jobs, she barely made over $1,000 a month. Of course she took the money. We though about moving but we still couldn't afford it. She was so frugal with it, though. It did give us a sliver of financial security for years.
But goddamn. $5,000 is table scraps to them, and they bought her silence with it because she couldn't refuse the chance to slightly lessen the weight of poverty on her family.
