EVAN ‘BRAT’ BUCKLEY + eddie ‘don’t make me put you in your place’ diaz
(or, this is only part one because he really, really is a brat.)
[Image ID: ten small gifs of Evan Buckley and Eddie Diaz from multiple episodes of 9-1-1. They are organized by Buck's dialogue on the left, and Eddie's response on the right.:
ROW 1: From 2x01, Buck laughs humorlessly and shifts on his feet as he asks Eddie, "Why would I be threatened by you?". Eddie laughs quietly to himself before looking back up at Buck, saying, "Exactly. There's no need to be."
ROW 2: From 3x08, Buck handing his report to Bobby, looking smug and cocky as he says, "I bumped up the numbers, got fancy with the math." Eddie stops to peer at the report, shaking his head at Buck as he says, "You don't know math."
ROW 3: From 4x06, Buck looking up at where the bell's going off before they can eat, pointedly telling Eddie, "Yeah, definitely not jinxed." Eddie's gaze drifts from the ceiling back to Buck, his jaw working for a moment.
ROW 4: From 4x06, Buck sitting with a book in hand, head propped on two fingers as he peers up at Eddie curiously and asks, "Eddie, what would you say Ana's love language is?" Eddie holding out his hands, looking betrayed as he says, "Traitor."
ROW 5: From 6x17, Buck gleefully saying, "Okay, so that's what it is. You-you suck at [dating]." Eddie turns to look at him, frowning slightly at the words.
/end ID]
bonus:
(or, eddie can be a brat, too.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
[BONUS GIFs: From 4x10, Eddie looking at the picture of Jee-Yun, and pointing towards it with a creased, confused expression as he says, "Sure that's a smile? That's the same face Buck makes when he's gassy." Buck looks slightly appalled as he tilts his head at Eddie, then says, "I will take that as a compliment, 'cause it just means she looks like her Uncle Buck." /end ID]

Okay I am officially taking stock of every age drop they give us in the first few seasons so my own personal timeline can always be correct ❤️
So far in season 1:
Abby: 42 (1x01)
Bobby: 50 (1x01)
Buck: 26 (1x06 and 1x09)
Athena: 50 (1x09)
in season 2:
Christopher: 7 (2x02)
Harry: 10 (2x14, according to Bobby)
in season 3:
Buck: 28 (3x01)
May: 17 (3x02)
Albert: 20 (3x11)
in season 4:
Hen: 40 (4x03)
Buck: 29 (4x04)
Additional notes:
Michael says Athena had May at 37 in 1x01 and Athena also says in the scene where she calls herself 50 that she got married 14 years ago so it’s possible she could actually be 51/52 depending on May’s s1 age
Bobby's dating profile in 1x10 says he's 52
In 2x05 Athena tells Hen that Nathaniel (Denny's dad) met Eva in rehab seven years ago, suggesting Denny has, at most, just turned 7 at the start of s2
Chimney's birthday happens in 3x11, suggesting Chim's birthday is some time in march but no age is given
Hen says in 4x03 she joined the fire department at 30 and med school at 40, suggesting she was 30 during most of the events of Hen Begins
Edit/Correction: In 4x04 Chimney says Maddie was told to keep the secret about Daniel when she was 9 and in 4x05 Maddie says Daniel died a year after Buck was born, meaning there's an 8 year age gap between Maddie and Buck. So if Buck is 29 in season 4 then Maddie is 37 (thank you @slightlyobsessedwitheverything for also catching this!)
in 4x10 when may listens to athena's 911 call from her overdose, athena tells the dispatcher may is 14, confirming her s1 age

Note: This is specifically for calls - either ones that were just heard by a dispatcher, or ones that the 118 showed up to - not just horrible events (which is why Buck/Chris getting lost in the tsunami, Eddie's getting buried underground, Hen accidentally hitting that young woman with the ambulance, etc is not included).

@lesbiandarvey and i need to know ur season rankings of suits
she is wrong. u will probably be wrong too but we’d love to know what it is!!!
Ooooh god okay well yes i am sure i am wrong because tbh so much of it blends together that I did have to look up season summaries on wikipedia just to distinguish seasons 2 and 3 oops!! but here goes...
Season 5. Literally the best of the whole show, so fucking stellar, whoops!!!! this season is everything to me. it was so good that as i watched it, i was so hyperaware that i was watching a spectacular season of television. history was made.
Season 6. IMO a very solid follow up to season 5, still high drama, Harvey is a trainwreck, Rachel is doing her best, Mike is in prison and all that shit is going down. Idk. I thought it vibed.
Season 2. Controversial jump, but idk something about it goes pretty hard, 2x07 fantastic and rough episode, Daniel Hardman as the main antagonist adds a lot
Season 7. honestly gets this rank just for "are you okay" "will you come back" and isn't top 3 bc of the paula arc oops! also missing jessica hours!!
Season 3. While I personally was NOT fan of the Pearson Darby arc, the Hessington Oil case was by far (to me) one of the most appealing and interesting season-long cases that they dealt with. lots of twists and turns that kept me interested!!!!
Season 1. Classic. What can I say?
Season 8. I'm actually not a hater of this season and I enjoyed it quite a bit, but compared to the other seasons it's a bit lower, but want to emphasize I AM A SEASON 8 DEFENDER!!!!
Season 4. Oh god I hate this season so much. It only ranks above Season 9 because of episodes 4x10-4x16.
Season 9. You saw this coming. We all did
care to share either of your rankings? @rvspecter @lesbiandarvey

Season 4 timeline as shown on 9-1-1: Lone Star
There is an 8-week deadline placed on the wedding
We find out about Carlos being married in 4x01 – which takes place before the “crazy” incident
The “crazy” call was on January 9 and in 4x02 (I wonder if they left this date from what they had originally thought they air date for 4x02 would have been – which would mean 4x02 events could have been on Jan 9 & would have had 4x01 being Jan 2 – leading to a March 3 wedding)
It seemed like there were only days between the dinner with Iris to the kidnapping/rescues – but in 4x04 TK’s phone shows Feb 7 as the date (Thanks to the eyes of @tylerkennedys)
In 4x05 Marjan comments that Owen has only had his bike for 3 weeks (he had only had it for a week max as of 4x01 conversations)
CONTRADICTION TIME: if it was Jan 9 when the “Crazy” call happened which was only 3 weeks after Jan 9 in 4x05 – HOW THE FUCK was it Feb 7 in 4x04?
I am skipping 4x06 – 4x08 because I need to rewatch for dates/times
Marjan is seriously injured in 4x09 (Broken ribs/gun shot wound) but fine by 4x10 – so at least some time had to have passed or none at all, who knows really
Then we see the check in 4x10 dated March 28 (date of ep as this show has done frequently – which only ever adds to the confusion)
How does any of this make sense for an 8-week wedding timeline?
The wedding should either have been on March 3 (if you go by the dates they use in 4x02) or March 24 (that would be 8 weeks from the date of TK finding out Carlos was married.)
Somehow Carlos has also gotten a full divorce (which in reality would take 60 days from the signing of papers to the judge, plus the 30 day waiting period (we do know that they were already planning on ignoring the 60 day part, but still)
If we use real dates & Lone Star divorce law then Carlos would have met the 30-day waiting period most likely around March 7/8/9 (Depending on when they got the paperwork from the hospital to the courthouse in 4x04)
Also, in 4x10 we find out they haven’t even sent out their invitations yet – to a wedding that should have already happened if you go by their 8-week wedding plan.
I am pretty convinced that they totally forgot about the 8-week thing. They just omitted it from their memory and moved on to more nonsense dates/times.
