I remembered I have some interesting photos on my gallery since 2021

THE SUNSET CURVE DEMO
I found the photos randomly on a site
What was interesting to me was the description on the demo. They met at high school (apparently they didn’t study at Los Feliz) and formed the band while being students (which was obvious)
It’s such a same we never heard Late Last Night, Lakeside Reflection and In Your Starlight
+ I love this photoshooting so much🥹

I thought of their unfathomable distance, and the slow inevitable drift of their movements out of the unknown past into the unknown future.

"My name is Nyota. I'm the communications officer, I- I was born in Kenya- I used to have a cat, named Kamili. My first memory is watching my dad play the piano. I'm real."
Okay but I was wholly unprepared for how much it would mean to me to see more of Uhura's African identity actually being canonised by this show. The "I'm real" especially got to me; just a throwaway line but it really made me think of the Ben Sisko/Benny Russell parallels! Nyota, born in the 23rd century, is exactly the sort of person Benny Russell dreamed could exist in the future. She is real! She exists!

headcanon that since johnny grew up about 10 years in kentucky and 10 somewhere in rich person england, he has a mixed accent, and gyro one day was like "if it were anyone else, i wouldn't be able to understand half of what they were saying, but when i look at you it's somehow crystal clear" and johnny just kinda stared and said "that's the sweetest thing anyone's ever said to me, please don't ever say that again"

im actually laughing so hard cause they didn’t just write hyde out of the show they wrote him out of the show
like there’s six new kids just like there was six og kids but instead of everyone being a mini new version of one of the originals, there’s two kelsos
like obviously Leia is Eric
to me Gwen is Donna
Nik is Jackie
Ozzie is Fez
Jay is Kelso
but Nate is also Kelso
they realllly said “no hyde doesn’t exist anymore and we’re not making a new hyde either he’s over we’re done with him” and that is hilarious

Now you know why girls take too long to get ready. There’s no such thing as an ugly woman, but a badly dressed one can make you look ugly. Take your time to enhance your natural beauty. It will be worth it.
-This pic was retrieved from an old feminization blog. It featured a fictional caption using an early pic of Kristanna Loken, an actress who became known for her roles in movies such as Terminator 3 and Bloodrayne. The picture is so 90s, it reminded me of how women in shows during that period would get ready. It also reminded me of my mom taking her time to look ready when going out. Obviously, I was a very small kid and my memories of that time period are very faint. But I believe this was an early form of appreciating feminine beauty that many trans girls could probably relate.
