Ever since the Volume 9 finale, I’ve been finding the whole argument that ‘Ruby CAN’T be Raven’s and Summer’s secret lovechild because the show/creators SAID that Tai is Ruby’s father’ to be just kind of… hilariously irrelevant.

Because at this point those same show/creators have also made it VERY definitively clear that Summer is just as much Yang’s MOTHER as Raven is. Stating quite unequivocally that the narrative considers someone who has raised and cared for a child makes them just as much the mother/father as the child’s biological parent.

And wouldn’t you know it, Tai did raise and care for Ruby.

So when the show/creators say that ‘Tai is Ruby’s father’, they could be saying that he’s her bio-dad. OR they could just as easily be saying that Tai is Ruby’s father in the same way that SUMMER is Yang’s mother, ie; a close friend of her parents not related to her by blood but who has nonetheless been a loving and supportive caretaker for much of her life.

And when you factor in… SEVERAL additional factors, I think the latter interpretation starts sounding a bit more likely XD

Love them together! I don't know which quadrant, though, probably flushed? I should re-read Homestuck to recall what I like about their canon relationship specifically, but from what I *do* remember: they're really cute and balance each other out nicely!

To be fair, I like most (if not all?) quadrant arrangements featuring Aradia, Sollux, Eridan, Feferi (and Karkat), so of course I'd enjoy arasol! Erisolfef was my OG poly ship but mate2priit opened my eyes to a world of possibilities, hahaha
