Aventurine wife but Sunday pfp smh
Lol but I have 101 pulls saved so far for Sunday so in celebration I would like to request Sunday with reader who gets him a gift to welcome him to the express. I'd probably do something hand made cause I think those kinds of presents are meaningful.
Welcome to the family, Sunday!
Summary: you create a handmade bracelet as a meaningful gift to welcome Sunday aboard the Astral Express. The bracelet, crafted with celestial beads and lavender thread, symbolizes connection and kindness. Though Sunday harbors a twisted belief in the Sweetdream Paradise, the gift resonates with him, leading to a quiet, shared moment of understanding between you two.

A/N: SHHH!! 🫣 I'LL CHANGE IT SOON!! Take this in the meantime 🤲

The Astral Express hummed with the soft glow of stars as it sliced through the cosmos, an endless journey across the universe. You stood at the side of the locomotive, your hands fidgeting nervously. Today was important. Today, you would welcome Sunday—one of the most revered members of the Oak Family—aboard the train.
Though you knew Sunday as a man of great dignity and wisdom, you also knew there was more to him than the poised leader he projected to the world. His belief in the Sweetdream Paradise was something you couldn’t quite reconcile with, but you respected his view—no matter how different it was from your own. After all, there was a certain kind of pain in seeing the world with so much uncertainty.
But this gift… you hoped it would speak to him in a way that words never could.
You'd spent weeks working on it, carefully handcrafting each detail with a kind of tenderness that only you could understand. It wasn’t much—just a small, intricately woven bracelet—but it was imbued with something personal, something that could perhaps touch the hearts of those who wore it. The bracelet was made from pale silver thread, woven together with strands of glowing celestial beads, each one meant to symbolize a star that would never fall from the sky. You had used thread dyed a soft blue, the color of skies, which seemed fitting, considering Sunday's ethereal nature.
You glanced at the door to the cabin, waiting for his arrival.
When it finally slid open, there stood Sunday in his usual immaculate attire, the long tailcoat flowing elegantly behind him. His eyes flickered over the room, his expression a mix of curiosity and recognition as they landed on you.
"I see you’ve been waiting." he said softly, his voice carrying a certain calm authority, yet with an underlying gentleness.
You felt a flutter of warmth at the sight of him. You’d only spoken in passing since he had boarded the Astral Express, but today, there was something different in the air. Something intimate.
You cleared your throat, stepping forward slowly. "Yes, I have. I, uh, wanted to give you something… a small gift," you said, holding out the bracelet, the delicate glow of the celestial beads catching the light.
Sunday raised an eyebrow, intrigued. "A gift?" he mused, taking the bracelet gently in his hands. His gaze softened as he examined it closely, the soft blue strands catching his attention.
"You don't have to accept it," you said quickly, a little embarrassed. "I just thought it might be meaningful—since, well, you're new here and all."
His fingers brushed over the beads as he looked up, and for a moment, his eyes met yours, piercing yet somehow gentle. "You believe in meaning behind these things," he said, almost to himself. His voice was softer now, as if he was considering something deeper.
"Yes, I do," you replied, your heart racing a little under the weight of his gaze. "Sometimes, a gift doesn’t have to be grand to carry meaning. I thought this might remind you that even in the vastness of the universe, you’re not alone. You don’t have to carry everything by yourself."
A faint smile played at the corners of Sunday’s lips, but it was not the usual serene, distant expression he wore. It was something softer, warmer. "You would choose such a gift for me," he said, his tone shifting slightly. "A reminder that, even in a world built on ideals of survival, there is kindness."
He turned the bracelet over in his fingers, lost in thought for a moment. "I suppose... I can accept this," he said, his voice gentle yet resolute. "Not as a symbol of weakness, but as a testament to the strength of connection."
You felt a rush of relief, even as your chest tightened at his words. He didn’t see it as an escape or an illusion—he understood it, in his own way. This gift, this simple gesture, was something that transcended the dream of a perfect world.
You smiled softly, watching as Sunday carefully slipped the bracelet onto his wrist, the delicate strands of blue and celestial beads now draping across his skin.
"Thank you," he murmured, his voice softer than you'd ever heard it. "For the kindness you’ve shown me. Perhaps... there is meaning beyond what I’ve dreamed."
You nodded, heart swelling with a quiet happiness. "No matter how far the stars may stretch, we’re all connected, Sunday. Even in the Sweetdream Paradise, you're not alone."
A flicker of something warm passed through his eyes, the glimmer of gold and navy that always seemed to hold a thousand unspoken truths. "No," he agreed, his voice carrying the weight of the cosmos. "Perhaps... we’re not."
As the Astral Express continued its journey through the vast, starlit expanse, you both stood together—silent, yet connected by a bond that neither the dream of paradise nor the harshness of reality could sever.

⠀ര ( ˶°ㅁ°)⠀UNWRAP...⠀DOUBLE DIP! ⠀01082021⠀❘❙❚❙
Saccharin, a sound that suited the hot summer it was released in, and a colour scheme so bright it could make your eyes water, ‘DOUBLE DIP’ was simultaneously all and none of what the masses were expecting from CHERRYADE. Released on the 1st of August 2021 (digitally, that was, with physical versions only becoming available a few days later on the 5th), most look back on CHERRYADE’s debut mini album and consider it a success; remembered through smoke clouds, artificial flavouring, and a surprising lack of infighting allegations, as well as JAGUAR CEO Ae Seungdae’s reassurance through a short interview held a week before release that it would “leave a sweet aftertaste in the mouths of all who listen”—even if creative director Choi Eunhee seemed to disagree, if the hastily-covered scoff that left her lips was any indication.

So what did this sort-of-anticipated debut consist of, I hear you asking? Well, first up is ‘Fun,’ a pretty straightforward anthem about enjoying some time in the sun to the fullest, and the track I expect will be the most performed on the various music shows the group are set to be appearing on in the coming weeks. Next up is ‘DANCE!’—a song that seems to be becoming a fan-favourite B-side, in which they compare the feeling of falling in love to dancing, to flashing and falling lights, to a very summery feeling in general. It makes you want to get up and do exactly as the title tells you, and I can see why it’s climbing the ranks in the favourites department. Third on the mini album comes a slight mood shift in the form of ‘Flavour,’ a bouncy and enjoyable experience no doubt hiding a number of sex innuendos in the form of the many food-and-drink-related lyrics (I mean, what are we letting ‘swell up a bit more,’ boys?), and what I predict to be the companion performance song, along with ‘Fun.’
Second-to-last is ‘Summer Night,’ an upbeat affair speaking of dreams, of flying, of coaxing the listener to ‘have some fun,’ and and, on a less upbeat (but very brief) moment in the bridge, their fear of those aforementioned dreams ‘disappearing.’ And, last but not least, we have an even more noticeable shift in both mood and in tone, a much more direct attempt at a sensual (but still very enjoyable) anthem: ‘All Day.’ It doesn’t take a genius to guess at what they’re referring to. Still, the delightful performances of the group and somewhat addictive whistling built into the instrumental makes it just as loveable as any of the others—in fact, it’s my personal favourite from the project as a whole, followed by ‘Flavour’ and ‘Fun,’ and I hope we’ll get a peek into the behind-the-scenes for it (and, really, all of the mini album as whole). Credits-wise, all members bar Gogo and Jaehee contributed with lyrics, but personally I wouldn’t have cared if none of them put a pen to paper anyway.
ഒ⠀from user letsgogo⠀23082021
I’ve seen many people questioning the sudden flip in mood song-wise at the very end of the mini album, but as it usually is with JAGUAR, very little of those queries were answered. Some have been calling it poorly structured and lacking in consistency, but some have thought up a theory for themselves (and whether they’re onto something or are just trying to make excuses to comfort themselves, at this point it’s a case of only time being able to tell)—that the change was intentional. That ‘All Day’ was setting the foundations for their next release, sort of like leaving a story on a cliffhanger; in order to get listeners intrigued enough to stick around a while longer for whatever may happen afterwards. But even if it isn’t, most of us are just happy to take it as it is, not minding the differing energy one bit—undoubtedly a positive.
Another one of those was how well the seven look like they’re getting along. Seeing as they’ve been stitched together from the members of past failed groups (and hand-picked from the companies those groups had been under), a large majority of people were eagerly awaiting their non-music related content (interviews, behinds, general extra things) to try and get a gauge of how they were getting along—because put-on acts of professionalism can really only work so well before someone or other starts to see through them. However, despite how hard many have been looking, not much has been found. There has been, of course, notable tension between Yijun and Jaehee (which hasn’t been so much of a surprise to anyone, considering their past), But the rest all seemed fine. Friendly, even, if I dared to go that far. Shocker!
ഒ⠀from user jaleon⠀25082021
Past all of the apparent amicability between them, though, this debut era hasn’t been without its downs. First came the standard smoking allegations, grainy photos showcasing the smoke clouds leaking from their mouths or noses as one or two of the group huddled together round the back of the building after dark, laughing while caught up in whatever conversation they were having as they did so. Longtime fans of most JAGUAR groups haven’t been deterred at all by this—most of them are just.. Used to it. A nicotine addiction on the side has almost been written into the company’s contract at that point—and so these didn’t haven’t made much noise. some saw it as another good thing, if anything—they liked one another enough to hang out outside of work, so it must’ve been a positive.
There has been, however, a more serious issue that arose out of this promotional period. Shortly after their first appearance as a group on Inkigayo, whispers began to generate, centralising around Yijun and Seven, a member of senior boy group S(O)UL. The story was that an argument went south backstage, and the two parted on less-than-good terms. Neither company has made any move to address it, though, and so the rumours are starting to die down—even if I doubt the feud will, and not for a while at that. I’ve heard similar whispers of mutual dirty looks also being exchanged between him and a member of group MELIORA, but even less has been said about that, so I know as much as everyone else does—pretty much nothing.
ഒ⠀from user hasunshine⠀06092021
Styling (the outfits, as you’ll probably come to learn, are really only ever I want to talk about) this era was exactly as you’d expect something named ‘DOUBLE DIP’ to be. Outlandish, bodacious, overly colourful, and with so many accessories plastered all over them it was a surprise all of their vocals during performances weren’t interrupted by the jingling and jangling of their jewellery. Clunky rings, bedazzled sunglasses (and faces, and shoes, and hair.. Bedazzled everything), fur hats and big caps and denim on leather on denim. You sort of just have to imagine someone’s thrown everything they can find in a vaguely-2000s second-hand store at them, and then said ‘break a leg!’—but, to their credit, they pull it off pretty well. Maybe it’s just their faces.
And after that, we’ve reached the end of all I was ever intending to cover within CHERRYADE’s debut era. All that was bad brought in as much attention as any one of their performances (quite fitting with JAGUAR’s age-old motto of “all press is good press”), and overall it was very successful for the seven. I hope it’s just one of the (maybe) many more fruitful eras to come.

"An even more beautiful happines found behind sadness"
Magazine article for the 90s Ballad group ECO/Echo featuring the members Ji-young, Ji-sun, and Jung-ae
[Side panel]
When ECO released their first album, the music industry's reaction was "Ah, they're a girl group that can sing well". However, they dissapeared from the TV screens. A year later, they stood tall in front of us with their 2nd album. With their shocking image change, just like their song "Happy Me", it made them happy every day.
'The dance song "If I" from our first album didn't match with us. That is why we had no choice but to stop promoting. That's why, for our secodn album, we did have a lot of problems (laughs), but we put in as much effort and were as greedy as it was hard to release the 2nd album. Also, we had a hard time considering the popularity and musicality, while maintaining each member's distinctiveness' - Kim Jung Ae
Perhaps because of such extraordinary efforts and affection, Echo's second album, Happy Me, achieved the feat(?) of selling over 100,000 copies in one breath and taking over the top ranks of music charts. And during the solo concert held in Daehakro some time ago, hundreds of fans had to turn back because they couldn't get tickets because all the tickets were sold out. So they are planning to have an encore concert on February 18th. 'Based on our experience from the first concert, we plan to prepare a different kind of concert. Unlike the first concert which was held in a confessional atmosphere, this concert will be a concert with a lot to see and hear. I will play the guitar, Ji-seon will play the percussion, and Jeong-ae will play the piano. We will also show off our dance skills that we lacked in the first album, and we will select good pop songs and play them for you. For those who came to the first concert and for those who couldn't come, I plan to create a concert that will make you forget your regrets.' - Song Ji Young
Along with these plans, Echo is preparing a new project this spring: a remake of their favorite pop and old pop songs. Releasing the 2.5th album. It's an idea that came to me while singing a pop song at a concert. We like it, but the fans also really liked it. I plan to make it as a token of my gratitude to the fans who love us." Shin Ji-seon The three women, Echo, who now have nothing to envy, now have the task left to do is to firmly establish their own unique individuality in the hearts of their fans.
Each member of Echo talks about their respective charms:
Ji-seon as told by Ji-young
Ji-seon is an attractive woman who is sexy and feminine, but also has a manly roughness. However, she has a habit of overdoing it when she gets angry. It seems to be a way of protecting her easily hurt personality. When she gets angry, she pretends to be strong and confident for no reason, and then sits in a corner and cries alone. That kind of innocence is Ji-seon's charm.
Ji-seon talks about Jeong-ae
Unlike her appearance, Jeong-ae is a strange woman. She sometimes does things that are truly unimaginable. On the other hand, she is deep inside. She knows how to be considerate of others and is broad-minded enough to listen to others. Despite her fragile appearance, she is a strong and generous woman.
Jeongae talks about Jiyoung
She is a woman who has both femininity and masculinity. And above all, Jiyoung's charm is that she is honest and has no aftertaste. She is wild just like the wild concept. However, she is a woman who is strong but also has many weak sides and is warm and considerate of others.
[Text in picture]
"Nowadays, the singers of "Happy Me", ECO, are competing for the 1st and 2nd spot on the Roadside Chart as well as various music programs. After overcoming the painful(?) failure of the 1st album, the 2nd which was prepared with a new look, music and style, is a big hit. Now, ECO is happy every day just like the song. The three women of ECO perfectly fit the description of "combination of singing skills and beauty".

The Fires of Heaven, Chapter 54 - To Caemlyn
(THIS PROJECT IS SPOILER FREE! No spoilers past the chapter you click on. Curious what I'm doing here? Read this post! For the link index and a primer on The Wheel of Time, read this one! Like what you see? Send me a Ko-Fi.)
(Dragon icon) In which someone's own words come back to haunt her.
PERSPECTIVE: Rand and five hundred Maidens head to the Royal Palace, to meet members of every other society. He repeats to Bael that he doesn't know how many will be able to come, and adds that Moiraine and Egg won't be coming.
He makes a gateway as big as he can, about four paces wide, and makes the platform on the other side a square as big as the one behind him with the Aiel gathered in. The people start moving through, and eventually it fills up with only half the people through. He closes the gateway, and they start moving through the darkness, though there's no sensation of movement. The platform eventually stops, and Rand opens another gateway on this side, opening it to the street by the wall he climbed into the garden where he first met El.
Trollocs quickly meet them, and then lightnings strike, seeming to not care if they hit Trolloc or human. Rand evades them, but Mat's boots are empty and smoking a few feet away from his smokin' dead bod, Asmo is a twist of char, and Avi is unmarked but unmoving.(1)
Rand screams for Rahvin, as they fight forward. Eventually he finds an open gateway and follows what must surely be Rahvin into the palace.
PERSPECTIVE: Nyn is teaching Siuan to access TAR, and has no trouble staying angry enough to channel into one of the ter'angreal. She and El alternate teaching the Salidar Six, as well, and she's hardly had time to study Siuan, Leane, or Logain. Also, Faolain has been raised, not to Aes Sedai but to something more than Accepted, and given extra rank over Nyn, meaning Nyn has had to run her little errands and fetch quests on demand.
The worst is that Theodrin has been assigned to break Nyn's block. Theodrin is kind and good-humoured, and Nyn is embarrassed that she cried in her arms when she realized she wasn't going to break the block in a night.(2)
Nyn and Siuan poke at each other's sore spots until they're wrestling on the ground in TAR, and Siuan breaks it up with laughter at realizing their foolishness. Nyn thinks she spotted Moggy watching them, and suggests they go back, reminding Siuan that time works differently here. Siuan refuses, but Nyn snaps the cord on the necklace holding the ter'angreal to her, and Siuan disappears.
Nyn freaks out, hoping she hasn't sent Siuan into some purgatory, and flees to Jurene, the little village where the wondergirls had stopped on their way to Tear. She wonders why she jumped here and not out of the dream, but shortly Moggy finds her either way, and implies she knows what Nyn's been up to in the waking world.
They face down, but Bir shows up and Moggy is shocked into giving up the weave she was just building. Nyn uses the opportunity to visualize, to create in TAR, an a'dam, already around Moggy's neck. Horror overcomes Moggy's rage quickly when she realizes she is now well and truly trapped, and can no longer channel or move in TAR.(3)
Bir explains that she took the stone ring from Siuan, and came, when it became clear Nyn wasn't waking up simultaneously with her. So, what do they do now?
Nyn can feel Moggy's fear through the a'dam, even though she's working hard to put on a calm and superior face. Moggy offers that she's seen some of the others scheming, she knows valuable information, they're trying to draw Rand to attack Sammael, and he'll find Graendal and Rahvin as well, and Lanfear is playing her own game on top of it.
Nyn tells her that she won't allow hinting at things. If she tries to keep anything back, she will do to Moggy everything Moggy has dreamed of doing to her. Moggy fills with dread, and says Rahvin set wards around Caemlyn to sense when a man channels, and Rand intended to leave Cairhien after sunrise so he's probably already walked into them, chasing Rahvin because he thinks he killed Morgase.
Nyn makes Moggy weave her own gag and earmuffs, and asks Bir what she thinks, which is that Moggy was never very brave unless she thought she had the upper hand, she did seem genuine. Nyn says she wants to take Moggy to Caemlyn, Bir says she can't affect the waking world from here, then wakes up as the sleep tea wears off.
Nyn unweaves Moggy's earmuffs and says they're going to take a trip, and if anything sneaks up on her, well, what the bracelet wearer feels, the collar wearer feels tenfold. She pictures the palace in Caemlyn in her mind, and they move through TAR.
=====
(1) WELL! That was sudden and uncalled for! Three (well, two and a half) fairly major characters gone in one fell swoop. (2) It's not that she hates Theodrin, because she's really nice. It's that Nyn became Wisdom so early, she had to maintain full control of herself, she had to be capital-r Respectable to the other women in particular, so that they would uphold her authority with the men. She has never felt comfortable showing weakness, she's never been allowed to show weakness (remember how shocked Rand was to see her dancing in Baerlon?), and it embarrasses her so thoroughly to have done so, despite that Theodrin will certainly not tell anyone about it, that it makes her feel angry and weak in retrospect. Poor Nynaeve. (3) Now who's bridled for riding, Moggy?

PROJECT SEKAI ANTHOLOGY (DNA) VOL 2 CHAPTER 14
I gonna talk differently here so just skip it (lol) :
Anyone already watch Firefly anime video ? SO MANY SAMS THANK YOU VERY MUCH It's pretty sad, on par with Acheron which is good rather than dating with TB isn't. But then again I'm even more sure now, hoyo gonna kill that girl in next version !
The reasons why she need to die for real ? First and foremost, if not two dating scene with TB aren't make sense ! She's too friendly with TB for my liking which means TB and Firefly already meet as Stellaron Hunter (it's 99% sure, 1% just don't have any real scene lol) and it definitely sure TB is the one who tell her outside world. So if Firefly didn't die in bang especially without saving TB from danger, then all TB x Firefly hidden scene (lol) and her reasoning to die as human will be gone.
After finish watch the anime version, I had feeling "I still have one last role" vibe from it. She even wondering the same as Churin "why people live only to die later" question, so if hoyo decide her dead scene after saving Trailblazer and finally had an answer for that question, she's really complete as a character
And as I said in previous talk, there's must be a reason Welt came in Firefly interview. If it's about SAM (robot), then Silver Wolf should be sufficient. If from my side, I think AE members already acknowledge her as their partner.
IF after next version hoyo decide not to kill her (like making her in coma or something), then it's just means there's bigger power played behind the scenes (I mean whaler screams and money lol). And IF hoyo makes Firefly dying there, I gonna pull for her and abandon Jiao Qiu as my highest compliment on hoyo storywriter !
This chapter focused on Leo/Need again. Not disheartening anyone but L/N and additionally MMJ isn't that interesting to me which is the main reason my mood isn't doing good for this and stopped the translation (lol)
Like always, english and japanese aren't my things so bear with me~

hi! @tiana4evahh (you’re a lot less new because it took me a month to get to this) there was some difficulties with me trying to answer your ask, so we have to do it this way, third times the charm i guess.
thank you!!
(you should know that you leave my favorite comments on my fics they are so exciting and really do encourage me to work on fics)
i do have a bullet point fic based off of the Wildwood colony fic (link) it would be used as the outline for the fic “rewrite” if i ever end up doing it, i want to but i also have several projects higher on my list.
and because i don’t want to make you wait another month to get an answer even though this ask did end up inspiring a fic that fits some of the prompts for the Neverseen Extravaganza
the headcannons (side note while i say Rayni here i’m actually way more attached to @crymeariveronceagain version of Glimmer i kinda put my own twist on her in my head but you get it)
Tam was held prisoner for 6 months and from the second the light cuffs where put on his wrists, they felt like they where on fire. as time went on he started to get tremors in his hands. he hoped he would be rescued before it became permanent. because there was no way he would escape on his own, the one time he tried they beat him unconscious, and Gethen filled his mind with images of Linh dying in a 100 different ways. he refused to go though that again.
By the time he was rescued it was too late, the nerve damage in his wrists from the light cuffs was too bad, he was going have permanent tremors in his hands, on top of that his hands and arms where covered in scars that looked like ink stains, because of how he was forced to use the shadowflux
he was terrified of having his mind read, and of Teirgan the council suggested a mind probe to make sure he was telling the truth and to see if there was any important information hidden in mind by the Neverseen and he completely broke down, sending shadows everywhere because he didn’t want to have someone tear though his mind like Gethen would.
after he came back he only spoke if he was spoken too, because that’s what Gisela had trained him into doing, you can only take so many backhand slaps to the face with jewel encrusted rings that leave your face bleeding
he was terrified of the light because of how it effected his scars and the fact that they would use it as a punishment when he misbehaved when the Neverseen found out about its effects on his scars, but they stopped when they realized it also effected his ability.
people didn’t trust him even his friends, who would question weather he was still on their side, because he was so attached to Rayni and some of them where convinced she was a spy and had tricked Tam into trusting her. or that Tam really had switched sides and that he was actually the spy. the only people who fully trusted him where Biana Tiergan and Wyile, as Linh was convinced Rayni was a monster who stole her brother
Tam was the one to release Gisela, and Rayni took to the fall for him to protect him from the council because they where already looking for reasons to accuse him of being a member of the neverseen and locking him aes everyone would expect her to do something like that.
Rayni was the one to get Linh to talk to Tam when she said nonchalantly in a meeting that he wasn’t present for that “Tam thought Linh hated him” and Linh snapped back that it was Rayni she hated, they got in a bit of a fight until Rayni told Linh that the entire reason that Tam didn’t come to the meeting is because he couldn’t handle how Linh looked at him.
even after he and Linh made up and Linh went back to live at Solreef, he still didn’t feel safe going out in public because no matter where he went people would hiss traitor and that he should be locked away in Exile.
Tam and Keefe ended up bonding over their shared experience with the Neverseen once they found him again, and Sophie was the first person outside of his family and Biana that he actually trusted .
#btw i got your other ask#you can send as many of those as you want#i’m trying to write more consistently and i wanted to use peoples random fic ideas to practice#makes the perfectionism go away#it will just take me a while to get to them because im using them as writing prompts#thanks for the ask!#✨custard bursts#kotlc#kotlc headcanons#tam song#tw torture#tw kidnap mention#linh song#kotlc linh#kotlc tiergan#tiergan alenefar#kotlc rayni#rayni aria#kotlc neverseen#kotlc gisela#gisela sencen#kotlc gethen#gethen ondsinn

The Hallownestian Dictionary, an in-progress dictionary for the City of Tears!
ey y'all, so to continue devoting myself to the wonders that is the city of tears, i thought of making a dictionary full of made up of 200 words, comprising different slangs, slurs, lexicons, and dialects specifically for the city of tears alone! i will mainly use this for my hollow knight au story, but for now, it's just something of it's own until well... whenever i friggin continue the story again ae
i'll be posting updates of these words now and then so y'all can see the progress! once the goal is achieved, it will ALL be compiled into one massive pdf, excel, OR google file, along with AUDIOS of how they're spoken and said!
"why am i doing this?" you're probably not asking? idk, i just thought it would be very fun to do and i think this kind of project is something that'll really help bring my creative juices into an even STRONGER light! so if yer interested in this project, please do keep watch of my newer posts!
and to give a sneek peek, here are the first two words out of the soon to be 200!! AAAA
----
Geisnom (/gaIS-nom/, /ˈɡaɪzəɔːm/), noun.
/ Derogatory. To describe an unfair individual, usually one known for scams and being deceiving. Mostly spoken by the citizens to call out bugs who scam others out of their geo. /
"That Geisnom of an upper caste tricked that poor citizen into giving half of their Geo to them. My hatred toward that side of the city grows ever more."
Usage — Active. You will hear this word almost daily in the City of Tears.
History — It's derived from the combined words of "Gei (/gee/, /d͡ʒˈiː/)" (Geo) and "Nomemena (/naw-meh-mEAn-aou/, /nˈɑːmɛiːnˈoʊ/)" (Swindler). In a literal sense, Geisnom means "Geo Swindler". Geo commonly gets stolen or swindled in this city more than any other item. Since Geo is a valuable currency, many find cunning ways into getting it. They steal, lie, cheat, or swindle their way into obtaining large numbers of it. Upper caste members and relatively poor bugs are known for doing this the most active. They are the two groups who are called such names more than any other.
Cositraph (/koh-SI-traf/, /kəsˈiːtɹˈæf/), adjective.
/ To express seeing a large amount of something. /
"Those upper caste think they're rich, but Lurien's much richer than any of them combined. He has a whole cositraph of Geo, more than what any bug could expect!"
Usage — Occassional. You will hear this word in the more developed areas of the city. Other than that, its usage is seldom.
History — It is dervied from combined words of "Cosi (/kOH-SI/, /kəsˈiː/" (Many) and "Traphgra (/traf-grah/, /tɹˈæfɡɹˈɑː/" (Possession). In a literal sense, Cositraph means "many possessions" ["He has a cositraph of Geo." = "His possession of Geo is many."].

A litle fun in my boredom, of being sick and demojoe-afied. Doesnt feel natural. To impeed natural flow.
The german text is the same pretty much. Except Z. The most useless letter in the alphabet. Is rivaled by the german ß. And the world and final judgement are switched. Which confirms the mnemonic map being printed to the letter. As with letters üöä. Or ae as its spelt on the english tongue. What common parlance words fit Z? Zoo. Thats pretty much it. Confined and overprotected. I mean there had to be the added & to remind you not to forget it.
Come see our stock, you want to touch, wanna glaze, it cost money. But its supporting a good cause, animals get survival support for endangered species, and people get survival support for their children. You need to be a functional member of society. There‘s no break in life. Its always effort. Got to keep that wheel turning. Put it back on the chariot and lets keep moving.
For example, the man gets his dragon back and, the devil is no longer wholly feminine. God gets pushed out onto the chaos, keeping the evil at bay. Forever hated for being “old”. There is nothign sexier than a dragon.
Stay clear from the stars. Theres the here now or the slow erosion of the centaurian steed. By the serpent raggler. The future is hopeless !!!!!!!
The faster something moves the less visible it becomes.
Or maybe it should be spelled; ZoO.
Card 0-15, so we can incorporate multiple layers, could be said to = or ≈ to aquarian, to the best appro-x-imate. What’s the term for that? Could be said to equal 6. Though this seems to be going counter to a finding rule of thumb, is to add the red numbers. And subtract the yellow. It seems to work alot of the time. But in this instance, it being a fool card. Allows for modifications to alter the source. All vowels are subject to additions and subtractions. Depending on which perspective. Half full or not. But in this case it equals out to 6. The lover(s) or happy happy fun time. Or to the emperor. Which is 4 and six. The object in this case being man the lover. But by subtraction is closer by rule to the empress. In which if they feed into each other. Nullifies and equals 0. What remains is a multiple. From 2. As the devil here is the figure involved in nullifying O.
666 crosses the lovers to the emperor. The number of the beast. Wealth, good fortune. Is affectively stamped by god. The centre point binding love to rulership.
You should see the efforts these evil fucktards out in for me today. Sounds of horror. And half a carcass of a rabbit. Along with the migraine and the insomnia. And the vomiting. From whatever they injected me with at the dentist with allt hose needles. Oathetic in that they rake pleasure from it. Born in hell serrounded by fucktards will die in hell serrounded by evil fucktards. Thats all its ever been. Nothing to learn. I read somewhere. Its. Result of inbreeding it aint their fault. Nazi cocsukers. My suicide is gettign closer. I cant fucken wait. Deep breatjing exersizes so this migraine doesnt oxygen strangle my brain cells and make me dimber than i am.
Truth is people see what they want to see. Not what is actually there. Because it allows them to play out their bs. I have to spend an entire life auffering so other can play out their sick twisted sadistic fatasies of asserting power. Cause it makes them feel good
But the real catch is in creating a sense impression. Which being tied to personal rhythm. Is in the projection of that sense to the negative. Segregation from that existence which is kept by side. They are the only active source. The self is lost.
I judge humanity guilty. Restart. Join the plagues. Except for this new age one.

Mmn, cough so bad got to puke.
While my conscious is altered, to a more minor degree. Affecting decision making. Yeah, 🖕🏼
I liked her. The first time i have had any positive and consistent back and forth dialogue with the opposite sex before. Now, she’s gone. Bye luv. You suck. And i dont want to be your frimed to keep me there instead of being real. I hate life. Whats that like number 360? Oh well at least the older ladies like me. And thats probably the same amount of times cherry’s gone down in a single night.

SEE ARCH ENEMY SINGER BECOME TRAPPED MERMAID IN NEW PETA AD
PETA have a long history of teaming with metal musicians for their campaigns — from Ozzy Osbourne to Lacuna Coil's Cristina Scabbia. The latest to partake is Arch Enemy vocalist and outspoken vegan Alissa White-Gluz, who appears ensnared in a fishing net and swishing a mermaid tail that matches her signature sea-blue hair in a new ad launching in time for Lent. Check it out below.
"The first thing that people are ready to … disregard as living animals are sea creatures," White-Gluz commented in a new video interview. "We're … invading a completely different environment and just destroying all the inhabitants in it ... That's something less talked about, but it should really be talked about, especially when you look at the statistics that say that our oceans will be dead 20 years from now."

Hi, so I literally just got tumbler to see your posts and I love BR so much. So I have a few questions for you that I hope you'd answer. Apologies if it's long.
Would anything change in the story change if BR!Tommy had a younger sibling?
If BR!Tommy had met BR!Ranboo before becoming the crown prince (say in some alternate universe he visited Esempi and met him or something) would he befriend him?
Was there any way that BR!Tommy and BR!Ranboo could have gotten along prior to chapter 26?
Did Kristen usually visit small towns when she was alive, or was it just L'manberg?
How old was BR!Niki when she met BR!Tommy's family?
What was your inspiration for the characters in BR and how they acted?
Does BR!Tommy still love BR!Micheal as a little brother, and come to think of it, does BR!Micheal love BR!Tommy in that way too?
Continuing on from my previous question, does Micheal still have Henry or is he gone?
Do you think BR!Beau and BR!Ranboo could work together and become friends after the events of chapter 26?
Why did BR!Philza like BR!Ranboo out of all the other commoner children?
Did BR!Philza know that BR!Ranboo was a slave?(I'm saying this because in Remarried Empress, Sovieshu had known Rasta was a slave all along, and I know that your fic is based on Remarried Empress)
Come to think of it, where did BR!Philza find BR!Ranboo because BR!Ranboo had lived in Esempi
Also, you don't have to answer a certain question if it'll spoil later chapters
Thank you so much for looking at my questions, considering the fact you even read this post. I think Butterfly Reign is one of (if not the) best fanfics or even stories I've ever read, and I think you're a pretty Poggers writer!
An ask! Haven't done this in a while, but I'll do my best answering your questions! :D
1. Ooooo that's an interesting one. I don't think I've ever thought of it before. In a way, you could say that Tommy did have a younger sibling in the face of Michael (who is his adoptive cousin), but I know that it wouldn't have been the same. There are many factors to how this could play out; whether Tommy is close with that sibling, or how they'd be treated by Phil and Kristin, but I think ultimately Tommy would have all the more reason to push for the crown prince status, and the main storyline would have played out the same with the exception of Tommy being either incessantly harsh towards the youngster (bad example from Phil) or borderline possessive of them in a Wilbur-like manner.
2. Yes! I think I've already speculated on an alternative universe for a scenario where Tommy gets to meet Ranboo on more peaceful terms. I think it would have been a slowburn type of friendship with Tommy learning how not to be an asshole all the time and Ranboo getting to know the ways of court – maybe through becoming Tommy’s attendant.
3. Absolutely! Br!Kristin did a lot of town visits and charity work in her days as an Empress, especially with southern towns that were the most affected by the war in Essempi... and so did Phil, but we are not going to learn about that until later.
4. I think she was anywhere from eleven to fourteen years old, I don't have a very strict timeline for that period, but the way it went was that Niki was sent to be mentored by Kristin. She was fostered in the AE to prepare her for ruling for several years, so that makes her almost a sister to Tommy, Wilbur and Techno.
5. Mostly my own family. I wouldn't call it projection per se, but prior to the start of BR we went through some rough things that made me see a new side to many of my family members – some good, some bad, all very human. BR at large is an exploration of different behaviors I observed in people around me. For example, br!Wilbur is strongly inspired by my cousin, who we were very close with at a young age, and br!Phil definitely has borrowed a lot out of my own father. And of course there were many outside sources from other fics I've read, from my favorite Webtoons and novels, and even random reddit stories I've seen and that stuck with me enough that I wanted to incorporate them into the characters.
6. Yes, Tommy definitely cares about Michael, and Michael about Tommy, but there are certain things in their backstory that make it hard for them to interact. Michael much prefers being around Tubbo because there is less negative emotional package tied to their relationship.
7. Michael still has Henry!
8. No :D
9 & 10. There is a reason for that that I cannot disclose yet.
And the last but not least, I hadn't gotten a chance to make this very clear but Ranboo used to work for Quackity in exchange for him getting him out of Esempi but ultimately ran away when he realized that he's never really gotten free. Which was not thought well though because three days layer he's barely alive in the woods when he stumbles upon Phil's carriage.
I'm really happy you're enjoying the story, and I hope this satisfies your curiosity!

My Mystic Messenger Opinions
(That no one asked for)
Zen
Character: 8/10 I know a lot of people think Zens annoying but I find him endearing. One of the best things about this game is the complexity of the characters and I love that Zen’s cockiness is actually how he hides his insecurities. Even though he’s egotistical about himself, he’s never shallow with MC. He says multiple times that he doesn’t care about MC’s looks. He loves her for who she is and shows this in how he makes an effort to get to know her and be her cheerleader everyday. An underrated thing about Zen is how emotionally intelligent he is. He’s great at helping the RFA members when they need emotional support (Yoosung’s grief over loosing Rika, Jaehee crying from the stress of her job and MC’s shock at almost being kidnapped).
Route: 2/10 Zen is a great character and he deserves a better route. The false rape accusation plot is horrible and offensive. Also, his route functions as an introduction to the game’s plot, so it’s exposition heavy and lacks action. The creators said that the lesson of his route is that when our insecurities are handled in a healthy way, they can push us to be better people. I love this message and I wish it had been highlighted more in his route.
Romantic Potential: 9/10 Zen is arguably the most dateable of all the characters. He’s a bad boy without being sketchy. He’s protective without being possessive. He’s kind without being a pushover and he’s smart without being pretentious. His biggest drawbacks are his overconfidence and and how busy he is with working. There aren’t any glaring red flags.
~ More under the cut ~
Jeahee
Character: 7/10 I love this adorable theater nerd! She comes across as formal and stuffy at first, but reveals herself to be passionate and funny the more you get to know her. I gave her a lower score because she does have a strong personality that rubs me the wrong way sometimes (her jealousy of MC in Zen’s route, her lack of sympathy towards Jumin in her own route and her general rudeness towards Yoosung). She is the most mature of the RFA though, so her exasperation is warranted. Being mature and grounded also makes Jaehee the least complex Mysme character. I’ve got a lot of respect for her though!
Route: 5/10 Getting to engage in discourse about capitalism and the patriarchy? Amazing and hands down the best part of her route. It’s really inspiring to see Jaehee stand up for herself and choose to follow her dreams. I think it’s important for every young person to hear that they should have a positive work/life balance and demand that their employer supports that. Other highlights are Seven helping Jaehee by making the Power Point presentation for Jumin’s cat project, getting to fangirl with Jaehee over Zen and the creepy stalker plot. I thoroughly enjoy her route and the only reason the score is so low is because some of the other routes are seriously incredible.
Romantic Potential: 8/10 Jeahee doesn’t have any red flags either. I think she’s perfectly capable of having a healthy, romantic relationship with MC. The biggest issue standing in their way is Korea’s bias against lesbian relationships. As a fellow coffee lover and theater enthusiast though, I could definitely see myself or someone similar having a happy life with her, even if it might have to be in secret.
Yoosung
Character: 6/10 I can’t stand people who aren’t competent. Yoosung is a terrible cook, he barely cleans and he doesn’t pay attention to his studies. On top of that, 80% of his personality is that he’s a gamer AND he’s in love with his “dead” adopted cousin. Yuck. ~ But ~ I understand that he’s depressed and depression can seriously effect someone’s executive functioning. Taking all of those negatives away, we’re left with a young man who’s trying to his best to be taken seriously, which is something I can relate to. It’s nice to see imposter syndrome represented and I admire his loyalty to his friends.
Route: 8/10 This route is sooo good! Who can forget the night when the RFA starts being aggressively stalked by Minty Eye? And the pic Zen takes of a believer looking at him through his apartment window...chills. His route only gets better from there when he infiltrates Mint Eye with Seven. This is the first time we get to see the twins interact and damn, is it confusing. But in a good way!! The biggest drawback is that MC is stuck in Rika’s apartment and doesn’t play much of an active role in the story.
Romantic Potential: 7/10 Despite all the negatives I listed about Yoosung, I do think he’s capable of have a healthy, romantic relationship with MC. Yoosung is also the only true sub of the RFA men, which is a definite plus for some players. Yoosung’s yandere side is a huge red flag though. MC better watch out if she doesn’t dote on him as much as he wants. Once he falls for her, he’s all in.
Jumin
Character: 5/10 Unpopular opinion, but I hate Jumin. I understand that he’s some people’s guilty pleasure though. Jumin’s good aspects are that he’s intensely loyal, an animal lover and has a dry sense of humor. I appreciate how devoted he is to the RFA and it’s members. He offers to help Zen multiple times (albeit rejected), sends everyone body guards in his route and pays the hospital in the SE to keep Saeran’s identity top secret. What I’m not a fan of is the way he obsesses over MC and traps her in his house. This isn’t the first time he’s shown obsessive tendencies either. Seven explicitly states that Jumin acted this way with Rika in the past. Huuuge red flag.
Route: 3/10 His entire route is fraught with rich people problems. I’m supposed to sympathize with him for an arranged marriage? All he had to do was say no. His father couldn’t force him. He’s possessive of MC because women have only ever wanted to be with him for his money? Not an excuse. Elizabeth going missing was a vaguely interesting story line, but Jumin’s relationship with his cat was cringey enough to overshadow the drama of it for me.
Romantic Potential: 3/10 Jumin has some serious issues. He’s never had a good female role model which has given him a deep seeded hatred of women. Remember when he tells MC that respecting women goes against his core beliefs? Yikes. Then, after meeting a woman who respects him and he actually likes, he locks her up and tries to change everything about her (cutting her hair, buying her a new wardrobe, teaching her the ‘proper’ way to walk, etc). We’re supposed to believe Jumin learns to be better by the end of his route, but he still proposes to MC after only a week of knowing her! I’m having a hard time picturing Jumin in a healthy relationship.
Saeyoung
Character: 10/10 I’m not saying Saeyoung is a good person. Far from it actually. But he IS very well written and extremely interesting. In the other routes, Saeyoung is energetic and funny, bringing much needed humor to heavy moments. It’s always a joy being in a chatroom with him. Then you have the reveal that he actually hates his job and that he was faking his personality, all to a sad and slowed down version of his theme song. This plot twist shook me to my core. What makes him so well written is that the devs did a good job dropping hints to his real personality in the other routes that players might not notice during their first play through.
Route: 9/10 This route is a wild ride from start to finish. This is when the plot threads from the other routes come together and start make sense. This route has secret agents, assassins, a deadly bomb, kidnapping, an evil twin, a powerful cult... It’s action heavy while still carrying enough emotional weight to make me cry every time. Saeyoung’s route is heavy and emotional and sooo worth playing.
Romantic Potential: 6/10 Saeyoung has a shady job and a complicated past. Choosing to be with him means putting your life in danger every day. If you’re okay with that, he’d be a decent romantic partner. He’s a little rough around the edges, but I do think he has potential to become more like his ideal self (God Seven) after reading his AE. He’ll always have that mean and serious side to him, but I don’t think he’s hopeless.
V
Character: 4/10 He’s low-key the worst. I sympathize with his trauma from being abused by Rika, but I don’t understand why he feels the need to fix everything by himself. Rika might be the source of most problems in this game, but V is partially responsible for standing by and letting her get away with everything.
My first issue with him comes from encouraging Saeyoung to join the agency. I know Saeyoung didn’t have many options, but how was encouraging him to train to become a hacker and assassin the best option?! On top of that, he stalked Zen per Rika’s request and took creeper photos of him, failed miserably at protecting Saeran and don’t get me started on how he loves Rika unconditionally. V has some good characteristics but I really don’t care about those when he’s so terrible otherwise.
Route: 10/10 This route is *chef’s kiss* the BEST. I wouldn’t call it a romance since Vs barely in it but damn is it riveting. Saeran is the perfect amount of loving and unhinged, MC get’s to know Rika on a personal level and V finally gets to be active instead of just reactive like he is in all the other routes. It’s also satisfying to find out how much V has been keeping secret and to get a glimpse into Rika’s psyche. But what really makes V’s route stand out among the rest is that there are spy action scenes like in Saeyoung’s route, but the player also gets to spend time in Mint Eye.
Romantic Potential: 7/10 I’ll be honest. I don’t think V will ever be able to move on from Rika. He’ll always love her, as evidence in his AE. Besides that drawback, I do think he’d be a good romantic partner for MC. V was never the issue in his past relationship with Rika. She was the abusive one and he was 100% the victim. I think he would treat MC just as well in their relationship as he treated Rika.
Saeran
Character: 7/10 I know I’m not the only one who loved the suave and cunning Saeran of the main routes who, after getting the therapy he needed, became an adorably shy and awkward man. Sadly, that’s not the character we got in AS. Instead, we met Ray, the split personality of Saeran’s psyche. Ray is charming and sweet as well as possessive and manipulative...which is something I’m into. But it’s not for everyone. Saeran’s real personality in AS is revealed to be angry and abusive and not at all similar to who he was in the main routes. I’ll give Cheritz props for writing a fairly accurate portrayal of disassociative identity disorder, but I think Saeran’s characterization is inconsistent. I get the impression Ray was an afterthought when creating AS.
Route: 7/10 A mixed bag for me. I really enjoy any chatroom/scene with Ray. He’s undeniably creepy, but those scenes were entertaining in a dark romance kind of way. On the other hand, the Saeran scenes had a lot of unrealized potential. Abuse is never cool. All his route needed to fix this was a scene where Saeran explained to MC that he was pretending to hate her to appease Rika and the other believers. While this fake hatred is implied, I think it needed to be outright stated. It’s also hard to believe that Saeran overcame his DID in the course of one night. I know all routes are limited to 11 days, but this one needed more. Highlights of this route are Saeyoung being kidnapped by his father and of course, dark Yoosung with Elizabun.
Romantic Potential: 7/10 I truly do believe that Saeran could go on and live a happy life in any of the endings where he escapes Mint Eye and receives therapy. While we only get a glimpse of what an emotionally stable Searan looks like, we know that he was kind and attentive with MC. Saeran is a giver and would do anything to make MC happy. Red flags are that Searan is still clingy at the end of his route. Yoosung makes a comment that he’s always holding MC’s hand when he sees them together. Also, his DID is something that will occasionally return and that’s something MC has to go into their relationship knowing.

Queen in recovery; villain in prison

Her Majesty giving the media and well-wishers a small but radiant smile before leaving CorGen
The queen has been discharged from CorGen and will spend the rest of her recovery in the winter palace in Pyeongchang, along with the king and members of the Royal Guard
This author is weak with relief. I loved writing that headline! The queen is fine. The royal baby is fine
Unbreakable Sword Jang Mi-reuk, who bore the brunt of the crash on the left side of the vehicle, will also make a full recovery
So will Park In-yeong, the queen’s only female Royal Guard
Details on their injuries will not be disclosed.
Both Mr Jang and Miss Park weren’t seen exiting the hospital, precisely so the public won’t know the extent of their injuries
We did see the bandage of the queen’s airbag burn on her left cheek (not visible in the photo) and she was using a scarf as a sling which supported her left arm by the wrist (not visible in photo)
While the royal family and the royal guard get some R&R in the mountains, Corea’s justice system is reeling from several moves the king made in serving justice to the man who could have cost us the queen and royal baby
The 43-year-old man from Gijang-gun is Kim Ae-go.
According to my Corean staff, he’s a notorious drunk. On the evening of November 12, he gatecrashed the Lee-Kim engagement party in Busan, had a “nightcap” at a bar, and then plowed into the queen’s car with blood alcohol concentration so high he should have been catatonic, not driving.
Circulating police reports now confirm that Kim is also charged with assault and battery for attacking the server in his persistence to get his car key, which had been confiscated according to the bar’s house rules.
Apparently a menace in Corea’s high society, Kim is also infamous for his acquittal from manslaughter in 2006, when another car crash he orchestrated killed two innocent bystanders aged 17 and 10.
The king reopened the case.
Prosecution evidence that had mysteriously disappeared in 2001 and 2006 resurfaced. Witnesses turned up. Kim Ae-go was found guilty of two counts of murder by unanimous jury verdict and sentenced to two counts of life imprisonment, and one count of six months of imprisonment, the (measly) penalty for unknowingly injuring the king or queen.
In Corea, you are charged with murder if the following are true:
You commit DUI manslaughter and found criminally negligent
You are a repeat DUI offender
You have been reprimanded and educated of the dangers of DUI
This was what was controversial in 2006, because instead of being charged with murder, Kim was charged with involuntary manslaughter instead, even with his priors.
That is all water under the bridge now that Kim Ae-go is finally put away.
For the full report on Kim Ae-go’s crimes, our staff put together a timeline here, with accounts from all the witnesses and victims
Statute of limitations removed
The king also removed the statute of limitations for murder and manslaughter.
Previously, Corea had a rather questionable 25 years statute of limitations for murder and manslaughter, something you didn’t notice or mind in this peaceful country until you realize creatures like Kim Ae-go walked around getting acquitted and waiting for the statute of limitations to apply.
Judicial immunity to be reduced?
The king also announced that the Office of the Sovereign Justice (that’s the king) is reviewing cases and is studying legislation where the kingdom’s justices can be disbarred and punished if found negligent of their judicial duty by an appellate court.
While this is controversial and will probably not become law, the announcement is enough. I bet some judges are quaking in their shoes. The king has taken notice.
Kims exiled
Kim Ae-go is the grandson of Kim Ae-ho, and the son of Kim Ae-ro, the now ex-Minister of Finance. Stripped of their ancient family title of Gong (equivalent to duke), both senior Kims and their wives are exiled forever from the kingdom.
According to the Royal Public Affairs Office, this is voluntary exile, with the king’s sanction.
Public opinion is favorable about this-- some ahjummas have emailed me details I can’t publish because it’s hearsay, but let’s just say this author is also happy the nonagenarian Kims are being evicted from the kingdom. I did like Minister Kim, however. That’s a shame.
But I’m sure he takes solace in his daughter.
Kim Eun-chae appointed new Minister of Finance
In a stunning turn of events that has the kingdom’s full approval because of her popularity, the king nominated Kim Eun-chae to fill the position of Minister of Finance. The nomination was unanimously assented by Parliament.
Kim Eun-chae, 46, is the older sister of Kim Ae-go. Unlike her brother, Kim Eun-chae used her family’s influence for good, serving in many committees in the queen’s and Parliament’s charities and projects. She also worked for her father as the ex-minister’s deputy minister of finance.
Once her term ends, she can run for re-election, and this time she’ll need to be voted into office by the citizens of Corea.
Mercedes Benz S-Class 2021 madly popular amongst Coreans
This one’s not stunning at all. After we’ve seen a rather horrifying but still effective demonstration of its collision defense technologies, Mercedes Benz is probably in shock at the high demand for the luxury sedan, not just from Coreans, but from all the royal and presidential (and mob) families of the world.
And all because this author published it during our panic over the queen. Should we expect royalties?

National Heritage Week | Frank O’Connor – Librarian
by Jim McKeon
Writer, Frank O’Connor, was just twenty years of age when he was released from Gormanstown Interment Camp. Cork had been badly hit by the Civil War. It was still a smouldering ruin. Because the city and county had been the focal point of much of the bloodiest fighting the turmoil of the Civil War lingered there longer than it did elsewhere in the country. In the spring of 1924, the city was still edgy. O’Connor had no money and no job. Under the new government all teachers were required to learn the Irish language. For a few months he taught Irish to the teachers at the Protestant school in St Luke’s Cross, near his home. He was paid a few shillings a week for this. He struggled by, a twenty-year old in his father’s patched up, old hand-me-down trousers teaching middle-aged teachers how to speak the Irish language. It was frustrating, especially if you were on the losing side in the Civil War. MacCurtain and MacSwiney had tragically died but he still met Corkery and Seán O’Faoláin regularly. As so often before Daniel Corkery, forever in O’Connor’s background, stepped in and arranged an interview for a job. Cork dramatist, Lennox Robison, who was secretary of the Carnegie Library, was organising rural libraries and he was looking for young men and women to train as librarians. After a tough interview O’Connor got the job. His mother packed his little cardboard suitcase, including a big holy picture of the Sacred Heart, and he set off for Sligo.

Bust of Frank O’Connor - on display in the City Library, Grand Parade
At last he had enough books to read. Even for 1924, the wages were poor, thirty shillings a week. His lodgings were twenty-seven and sixpence. He had a half-crown (12.5 cent) left for cigarettes and drink. He posted his dirty laundry on to Cork every week. His mother washed it, with unconditional love, and posted it back, and sometimes included five shillings for her son. As a librarian he was all hands. His boss said he was untrainable. He kept busy by reading poetry books and getting them off by heart. He was blessed with a phenomenal memory. The only thing of note in Sligo was that he celebrated his twenty-first birthday far from home. After six months he was sent to Wicklow, where a new library was to be opened.
When he arrived a local priest wanted to close down the library. Lennox Robinson had just been heavily criticised and fired from his library position because of a controversial story he wrote about a pregnant girl who felt she had mysterious visit by the Holy Ghost. O’Connor’s boss was Geoffrey Phibbs, an influential fellow poet with controversial opinions on many aspects of life. The two young poets became great friends. Phibbs escorted O’Connor to Dublin and introduced him to Lady Gregory, George Russell (AE) and Yeats. AE was editor of the Irish Statesman and encouraged O’Connor to send him on something for publication. He sent a verse translation of Suibne Geilt Aspires and when AE published it 14 March 1924, it carried for the first time the pseudonym Frank O’Connor. It must be remembered that he was a young civil servant and he may have been contemplating on keeping his job by using a pen name ever since Lennox Robinson’s enforced resignation. He chose his confirmation name, Francis, and his mother’s maiden name, O’Connor. The prominence AE and the Irish Statesman gave him thrust him into literary view. Yeats had great time for O’Connor and said that he did for Ireland what Chekhov did for Russia. But the young librarian missed home and his mother. A vacancy came up in Cork. AE tried to talk him out of it and warned him he’d be miserable back in Cork. It never occurred to O’Connor that he would not return home. Like his father he was, at that stage, a one-town man..
Notwithstanding AE’s forebodings, he accepted the job of Cork’s first county librarian in December 1925. He was just twenty-two years of age. His salary of five pounds a week was more than anyone in Harrington’s Square had ever dreamed of earning. The library was at twenty-five Patrick Street which was still in the process of being rebuilt. Minnie was happy that her son was back home again and his father, Big Mick, was impressed that a pension went with his son’s new job. The city was still in a poor condition. The foundation of the Irish Free State in 1922 augured a period of new confidence in Cork. But in 1924 a public inquiry found:
…limited progress had been made on rebuilding Cork’s city centre since it had been burned down in 1920. Criticism was made of the poor quality of maintenance of the city streets, many of which were still paved with timber blocks. Part of Anderson’s Quay had fallen into the river. The public water supply was of poor quality…There was virtually no building in progress in the city.
In the burning of Cork not alone had many of the character and physical structures of the city been lost, but so also had thousands of jobs and many peoples’ homes. The Cork Examiner reported that thousands were rendered idle by the destruction. The rebuilding was tediously slow mainly because of the shortage of funding. Britain’s refusal to accept blame and pay compensation didn’t help. The Civil War itself and the post-war political divide were also major factors in delaying the building progress. This was another chapter in Frank O’Connor’s Cork, a damaged city struggling to survive. He opened his library over a shop near the corner of Winthrop Street. It was five years since the burning yet major buildings, just yards away, like Roches Stores and Cash & Co, were still rubble. Rebuilding had not yet started in these two well-known shops. In January 1927, Roches Stores finally re-opened for business. Summing up, the burning of Cork had a unifying effect on a people that had been collectively damaged by the event. It also exposed divisions in Cork society at the time. A Church/political divide came to the surface during this traumatic time. It was demonstrated through criticism by councillors of Bishop Coholan for his refusal to condemn the burning. Many republicans were unhappy because they felt the clerical comments were often selective. Frank O’Connor had a huge responsibility for a young and inexperienced man. He was given a cheque for three thousand pounds to set up and stock his library. He made his first mistake. At that time an anti-Catholic bias still lingered in commerce. He naively lodged the cheque in the nearby and more practical catholic bank when the accepted practice was to use the protestant bank. This innocent action caused a major committee dispute and O’Connor was accused of having a personal and ulterior motive. Then, when he insured the building, the insurance company gave him a cheque as a personal thank you. He didn’t want it and kept it for years but never cashed it. He sums up this whole chaotic scenario:
By the time the Cork County Council had done with organizing my sub-committee it consisted of a hundred and ten members, and anyone who has ever had to deal with a public body will realize the chaos this involved. Finally I managed to get my committee together in one of the large council rooms, and by a majority it approved my choice of bankers. There was, I admit, a great deal of heat. Some of the councillors felt I had acted in a very high-handed way, and one protested against my appearing in a green shirt – a thing which, he said, he would not tolerate from anybody.
When he finally got his stock of books together and organised his new library, he decided that he should have closer contact with the rural community. If they couldn’t come to him then he’d go to them. He bought a van, packed it with boxes of books, and drove all over the county. After six months this affected his health. He was exhausted from working long hours driving all over West Cork and he wrote almost every night. In a letter to old Wicklow colleague, Phibbs, he wrote, I’m working like a brute beast. He became ill and had to have a serious operation in the Bon Secours Hospital. He spent two weeks in hospital and six weeks convalescing. It shows his stubbornness when he shocked the nuns in the hospital by refusing to receive the sacraments before the operation.
Cork had a long tradition of theatre and a critical play-going audience, but in 1927 there was only one drama group in the city, the newly formed Cork Shakespearian Company. Daniel Corkery’s little theatre had closed in 1913 and groups like Munster Players, Leeside Players and Father Matthew Players were also defunct. On 8 August 1927 Micheál MacLiammoir and Hilton Edwards brought their touring company to Cork. They performed The High Steppers’in the Pavillion Theatre in Patrick Street. This venue later became a cinema and is presently HMV music shop. After the opening night there was a party at Seán and Geraldene Neeson’s home. Geraldene was Terence MacSwiney’s bridesmaid when he married in England. MacLiammoir encouraged O’Connor to revive drama in Cork. O’Connor was inspired and was instrumental in forming the Cork Drama League. Although he knew nothing about drama he threw himself headlong at the project. Old friend, Seán Hendrick, recalls:
That Michael knew nothing about producing plays and I knew nothing about stage-managing them did not trouble us at all…The producer was to be given a free hand in the choice of both plays and cast and members were bound to accept the parts allotted them. There were to be no stars and an all-round uniformity of performance was to be aimed at.
Undaunted, Frank O’Connor tore into their new venture. Lennox Robinson’s play, The Round Table, was to be the first production. It was its first appearance in Cork and there were some slight adjustments to suit the local audience. The curtain-raiser was Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. Typically, O’Connor wrote the programme notes, directed The Round Table, and appeared in both plays. The Round Table was a difficult play to produce. It had fourteen characters. Many of them doubled up and played two roles. They had trouble trying to cast the part of Daisy Drennan, but one night Geraldine Neeson brought along a pretty young girl to audition. Although she had a terrible stammer she was a natural actress. Not alone did she get the part but that night O’Connor walked her home. From then on Nancy McCarthy became his leading lady and for years to come she was to flit in and out of his life. The company’s first play opened on 28 February 1928 in Gregg Hall in the South Mall, a theatre venue no longer used in Cork. They got high praise all round especially Nancy McCarthy. They immediately started rehearsing for their second venture, The Cherry Orchard. Cork City was now back on its feet and completely rebuilt and people were getting used to a new freedom and sense of safety. Theatre was a hugely popular event. Plays at that time generally had an Irish theme and written by the likes of Yeats, Synge, Robinson and T. C. Murray. That had been the custom and they were very popular with Cork audiences. But the young Frank O’Connor had other ideas. He was into French and German and Russian theatre and he wanted to offer the Cork public something different.
English drama, no matter how significant it may be in its own setting can have no beneficial effect upon a country which is subjected to cultural influences only from one source. The Cork Drama League proposes to give the best of American and continental theatre, of Chekhov, of Martine Sierra, of Eugene O’Neill and those other dramatists whose work, as a result of the dominating influence of the English theatre, is quite unknown in Cork.
That was a more than subtle dig at Fr, O’Flynn, a local priest, who had founded the Cork Shakespearian Company in 1924. The two men did not get on. From 20 December to 30 December1927 they exchanged four letters in the Cork Examiner trading insults. Fr, O’Flynn signed his letters The Producer while O’Connor used his name in Irish. Seán Hendrick joined in the attack calling himself Spectator. Everyone in Cork knew who both men were. Ironically, they were more alike than they cared to admit; they were two proud Cork men, they both loved Shakespeare and they both loved Irish. Two more plays were produced, The Cherry Orchard and A Doll’s House. Both got fine reviews, but the audiences were poor. Maybe the Cork Drama League was going too far too soon, and Cork wasn’t ready for them. By now O’Connor was spending most of his time with Nancy McCarthy. Nancy was a religious girl from a well-known Cork family. He brought her home to see his mother and the couple went on a three-week holiday to Donegal. They stayed in houses three miles apart. They met every day for a year outside of St, Peter and Paul’s church after mass. They were engaged for a while but it did not work out. She would not marry him. He would not marry in a Catholic church and there was no way Nancy would marry outside the Church. She was one of ten siblings and he was an only child. She felt he was spoiled. This was quite true. By now he was being regularly published in the Irish Statesman. He had a poem dedicated to Nancy published 9 May 1928. The last two lines are filled with melodrama:
That even within this darkness of our body keeps
Communion with the brightness of a world we dream
Frank O’Connor was beginning to feel that AE was right. He should never have left Dublin. He was no longer enjoying his years in Cork. It was no longer the place he had known. O’Faoláin was in America and recently he had found it difficult to talk to Corkery. He made it plain that he was taking sides and that O’Connor was on the wrong side. O’Connor was restless and felt that Cork was threatening to suffocate him. He missed Wicklow where he could talk literature and art to Phibbs and go on to Dublin to meet AE and Yeats. AE would give him all the latest books and gossip, and Sunday evening he could go to the Abbey Theatre and see a series of continental plays, Chekhov, Strindberg and contemporary German plays. Eventually, getting frustrated with the parochialism of Cork and his lack of success with Nancy McCarthy, he applied for the job as municipal librarian in Ballsbridge. On Saturday 1 December 1928 he packed his case and left for Dublin. He still felt it was only a temporary move. Nothing could cure him of the notion that Cork needed him and he needed Cork. Nothing but death could ever cure him of this.

Jim McKeon’s book Frank O’Connor: A Life is available to borrow from Cork City Libraries
Jim McKeon has been involved in theatre all his life and has many film scripts, plays and books to his name. His best-known work is probably the biography of Frank O'Connor. You: I don't consider Homestuck^2 Canon........................ Also you: I hate DaveKat and JadeRose because of Homestuck^2. Ma'am you lack logic
Considering how much others use HS2 a lot after epilogues, it is hard to ignore. There's also the dubious canon that Andrew Hussie and What Pumpkin had played up with this series, making it a paradoxical series of this sequel being part of Homestuck, and yet it is not. But if it is not, why would you force fans to pay on Patreon? Why can't it be a simple fan adventure on MSPFA? There's also the fact that Hussie had left the HS2 project. His name has been completed omitted. Does it count without the creator's name, or is it fine because it is now under WhatPumpkin's control? Crew members like Aysha have yet to confirm if the series will continue or is dead in the dust. HS2 and its side stories are on a long hiatus and they briefly shut the Patreon account. Goodness knows that they ae being more silent after the Sarah Z incident. I ask this from Andrew Hussie and WhatPumpkin. You, fans, audiences, anonymous, should ask this too. Where is Homestuck^2 going now?

Inspired by @/capri-suns-and-gushers and this post about how sys-meds shouldn’t get to write the narrative about endogenic/parogenic/tulpamancy/spiritual/etc systems on this platform.
We wanted to use this as our official coming-out-as-a-system (on this blog at least) post, as well as answering some things.
If anyone has any questions, feel free to ask! Don’t send us syscourse or hate, please. (Long post, so it’s cut)
1. What kind of system are you?
We use several different terms to describe our system type, depending on how we’re feeling that day, who’s fronting, or who we’re talking to. We use endogenic, MaDD/paragenic, araisagenic, soul-bonding, and gateway.
Most of us are in here due to maladaptive daydreaming and escapism from the “core”, as well as projecting onto characters or having comfort characters.
There are a few subsystems in here, though. One of our Remuses is a traumagenic OSDD system, Zak is a traumagenic DID system, Cadence has unknown origins, and Cleo is a paragenic system.
2. How many of you are there?
Currently around 80 or so, counting subsystem member. But our numbers are constantly fluctuating when someone decides to leave or come back or walk-in. The highest amount we have ever had was around 120.
3. How long have you known about your plurality?
Our “core” learned the first time about aer plurality in... I wanna say... 2018? Ae came out to someone as a system and it didn’t go well, so ae decided to forget all about it and procrastinated everything. We’ve been out as a system since December of 2019 now, though.
4. Had you heard of DID/OSDD/DDNOS before you became plural/discovered your plurality?
Kind of? Someone at work approached us back in 2018 (see answer to 3) and whispered “hey. guess what. i’ve got multiple personality disorder. i’m not kyle.” then walked away. Star (”core”) went home that night and researched it and that’s how ae realized ae were plural.
5. Do you have a wonderland/innerworld? If so, what do you call it, and what are some things that you and your system members do there?
We do, but it’s very difficult to see, due to the body’s aphantasia. Very few people are actually able to see it. It’s more along the lines of us “asking” the brain what it looks like and guessing things until the brain is like “yeah that’s right.”
We call it our innerworld, or our headspace.
A lot of people like hanging out in the living room (our “control room”, playing video games on one of the tv’s in here, or hanging out in the pond outside.
6. What do you call your system members?
Headmates. We’re not against the term “alters” but we don’t tend to use it too much.
7. If you’re plural and don’t use the word “system” to describe you&, what word do you use?
We use the word “system” but we’ve been considering using different terms, just aren’t sure what terms there are to use lol.
8. What are some of the best things about being plural?
Probably getting to hang out with comfort characters. We are all aware that they aren’t their source, but they have many personality traits in common with their source, so it’s a source of comfort to get to hang out with and be friends with them.
9. What are some not-so-great things about being plural?
The occasional blurriness we get when we realize we don’t know who we are/who’s fronting, and we have to try to figure out who we are.
10. Do you have a spiritual or psychological view of your plurality?
We think it’s more of a spiritual view, because a lot of us, if not all of us, view it more as that person’s spirit coming to our headspace from a different dimension and hanging out here.
11. Do you ever experience “switching” or “possession” or any sort of change in who controls the body? If so, what do you call it, how easy/difficult is it, and what is it like? Were you always able to do this, or did you have to learn how over time?
We do experience switching, but it feels different sometimes than others. Sometimes it feels as though whoever is fronting is more along the lines of Star (”core”) being in front and someone else backseat driving, or vice versa.
We call it switching. It’s usually pretty easy. Sometimes we do it without even trying to or noticing. We’ll be sitting here playing a game or watching Tv and then all of a sudden realize we aren’t who was fronting before. Sometimes we have to focus on “handing over controls” in innerspace and there’s meatspace blurriness while that’s going on before it snaps into full control and the blurriness/dissociation goes away. it doesn’t normally take very long. A minute at most.
We have been able to do it since actively being plural in 2019 (see answer 3)
12. How do you and your system mates relate to each other? (Are you friends, family, romantically involved, caretakers, etc)
All of the above. There are some people who were born in the system, and their family is in here. There are some people who are dating, who were related before coming here, who adopted each other in here as family, etc. It’s more of a whole world in here than anything. People have different relationships with each other.
13. Have you come out to anybody in real life/in a singlet space about your plurality? How did it go?
We came out to our partner system’s dad (well they came out to him for us, but we gave them permission to do so), and he completely ignored the situation. And then we came out to the body’s mom, and she ignored us and told us she didn’t think we were safe with our partner system since they came out publically as a system.
14. What kinds of forms and appearances do your system members take on?
We have some people in here who are human, we have some cat-people, demons, vampires, sirens, ghosts, and other monsters/creatures. We don’t all look like how people look like in this world, though. We don’t look how most people would say is “life like”. It’s more along the lines of video game animation or a more realistic version of pixar animation.
15. What are you and your system members interested in?
Current interests are: Minecraft, Sanders Sides, Grey’s Anatomy, drawing, writing. Some people are interested in Don’t Starve Together. Some are interested in knitting and painting. Depends on the person.
16. What is your life like in the meatworld?
Assuming meatworld is like... “real” world. Currently with quarantine, there’s not much to tell. We switch out every few hours if the body’s anxiety or depression gets too bad for us, we vibe with our partner system, and we pretend to be the core around the partner system’s dad (whom we live with).
17. What are your music tastes? Movies? Favorite Colors? Animals? List any other favorites as well.
Ummm.... lol.... it really depends on the person. We have a playlist on spotify for each person. We don’t have much variety in favorite movies/shows, though. Most of us like animated movies or comedy or romcoms, or stereotypically straight movies (think Hallmark romance movie, or general romcoms, or raunchy comedy).
18. Does your system have a host/original? If so, what do you call them? Explain what role they play in your system.
We have Star. Ae are the “original” person in here. We call aem the “core” when need be, but we usually just call aem Star lol. Ae are just another person in here, ae don’t really play too much of a “role”. Ae just decides what name the body goes by on default and ae have the final say on haircuts and tattoos/piercings and stuff.
19. Do any system members have notable relationships outside of the system?
Yes! We have a partner system, @systemofthelostsouls .
Star is dating Omen, Dee, Animosity, Logan, Regulus, and Story. Virgil is dating Dee, Regulus, and Ceto. Remus is dating Omen, Dee, Logan, Emile and Story. Roman is dating Emile and Logan. Bee is dating Logan, Omen, Nyx, and Dee. Charlie is dating Omen and Dee. Denki is dating Jirou. Shinsou is dating Jirou. Kyle is dating Kay and has sort of a thing with Kenny and Stan.
And I’m decently sure there are more, but I can’t remember. I’m pretty new here, myself.
20. If you haven’t been plural for your entire life/haven’t known about your plurality until later in life: what was life like before plurality compared to life now.
According to Star, life before plurality was a lot more... stable. Now if we want to finish a writing project, Star either has to backseat write, let someone else write for aem, or it takes weeks. We’ve been working on one chapter of a fanfiction for a week now. Before, Star was able to finish a chapter in a day or two.
21. If you chose to become plural: why? What has changed since then?
We’re not actually sure if Star chose to become plural or not. Sometimes it feels like ae did (which fucks up with our imposter syndrome lmfao), sometimes it feels like Star chose to be plural and invited people here out of loneliness and wanting to fit in with our friend group at the time, but usually it just feels like people chose to come here, rather than the other way around.
22. Is there anything you’d like to say to the plural community at large?
Don’t gatekeep, please. Let endogenic systems use the words “system” and “switching” if it’s what works for them. They aren’t hurting anyone.
And please don’t fakeclaim. You don’t know what’s going on in someone’s head. You aren’t in there.
23. Is there anything you’d like to say to any singlets reading this post?
Thank you for reading such a long thing. If any of this confuses you, or you’d like to learn more, our inbox is always open. But be warned, if you send us hate or something, we’re more likely to just delete your ask than answer it.
Thank you all for reading! -Cyra
