So I don't know much about pokemon, but I figured there was some reason for an all caps ask in my ask box, and:

Out of all the episodes of Metalocalypse that you've seen, which one would you say is your favourite?

OH MY GOD AHHAHAHAHAHA THANK U FOR ASKING THIS IS A VERY HARD QUESTION BUT I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO ANSWER IT... um.. i was thinking the christmas episode cuz dr.rockzo's parts make me laugh HAHAHAHA and toki getting pissed off at rockzo is great too YAY ummmmm I'm sure there's more but that's the first episode that came to mind lol i've only rewatched season 1 and a little but of season 2 XDD and a few other episodes from season 3 and 4..

Would I be able to get some plot or an explanation for the Parasite AU if that’s alright? Sorry, I’m just really interested. The stuff you’ve drawn for it looks so cool and angsty!

Let’s start by saying that this au isn’t exactly… massive or complex.

It’s a concept that came to my mind one day and I wanted to see it on paper, I really wanted to try and draw it, to see if it could actually work, ya know? I’m not sure this makes sense lol

What I mean is, I didn’t think about all the details, it doesn’t have an exact start and I’m still thinking about the end.

For example, forget about what happened during the finale, except for King setting the Collector free. Why? Because that’s the reason why Belos is like that. And that’s literally the starting point.

The Collector is free, he “killed” Belos and the kids are ok (a bit traumatized but ok)

The adults come to help the kids but Goo-Belos, with the last remaining forces, attaches himself to Lilith.

Why?

Because:

1) He knows her, he’s familiar to her mind, her struggles and her remorse for what she did to her sister. I mean, he used this exact guilt to manipulate her for years, he knows what to do with it. See the first mini comic.

2) Being now without magic, Lilith is a good match for his form: At the moment, he’s formed by magic alone, the residue of the one subtracted from the Palismen through the years.

A witch with a physical body but no magic + A creature made of magic but with a damaged a vessel.

That’s why I called it Parasite Belos, because he’s like a virus, he needs another body to live.

Their dynamic became a more toxic and violent “Venom-Eddie” kind. Like I showed here.

It was a secret at first but then Lilith vanished and Eda and Luz started to actually get worried. Luz find her some weeks later in the castle. Belos reveals himself to her and she, obviously, freaks out. She’s angry and worried, she desperately try to talk to Lilith but she doesn’t want to listen. Lilith doesn’t want to hurt Luz, not again, but Belos is slowly becoming more and more dominant, he’s slowly taking over.

And that’s it for now… sorry ahahah

mag 153 - love bombing

i am not too proud to admit that i'd probably fall into a cult until they inevitably bring up god and jesus and whatever, at which point my annoyance at having been seen as 'diet christian' all my life would probably be enough to get me to nope out. but still, i totally understand why people join cults and it's always been a subject i've found really interesting

corruption is also far more interesting when focused on the emotional aspects, which i think was realized pretty early on since most of the statements regarding it have at least a hint of this obsessive need and want for love. and cults are sort of the ideal way to explore this, because it's a two-way relationship. a deep longing for love on one end, and a parasitic need to fester on people loving them from the other. really, without it's members, a cult cannot function, and is dependent on the recieving the same devotion from the people on the other end, who themselves want it so deeply

beyond that, julia and trevor are back! i always love seeing them, and to be quite honest when they spell things out they have a pretty decent reason to be pissed. also, good to see daisy doing some self reflection. i mean, obviously it won't last, because the destiny of every avatar is either to succumb to their entity willingly and commit atrocities or to fight against it and ultimately still fail and destroy both themselves and others in the process. but... uhh... it's the thought that counts?
