angst fic set post-journeys end where rose is missing the other doctor, and she says as much to tentoo, but he takes it to mean rose misses the timelord him. argument ensues.

the doctor says he thought they were over this, and subtly accuses her of lying when she claimed to believe they were the same man. he thinks she’s regretting the doctor she picked and lashes out. she wasn’t even shy to let him know, wasn’t even worried about how he’d feel, seemingly

rose was hoping for maybe some comfort and reminiscing of their first year together, and she can’t understand why he’s so upset. but the bad mood she was already in and his unexpected hostility pushes her right past confusion into bitter anger, and she’s crying and yelling and slamming the door within minutes of the conversation starting. she can’t understand why he’s being so harsh and insensitive when she thought he felt similarly about their first year. she also thought they were over this

a good few hours of alone time gives them the space to calm down enough to talk and rose apologizes for yelling. somewhere in the apology, she drops a hint that she was talking about her first doctor, and he nearly starts another argument with the speed he shuts her up. because holy shit he was dumb. of course she wasn’t talking about the timelord copy. of course she didn’t regret picking him. how could he ever think his rose would be so cruel? dear god, he’s been an ass. and the doctor is so relieved to find this out that he doesn’t even care about her missing the person he’s not anymore

“what’s wrong stupid bunny, can’t talk now?” he whispers into the shell of your ear, looking downward at you. you slowly shake your head, unable to do it properly from his iron grip on your throat. you cough a little, hoping he would let up, but he only smirked and held harder. your hands grip his arm, a whimpering mess in front of him, on your knees.

“you look good down there, where you belong, bunny.” your neck is set free as he reaches to your cheek. he caresses your cheek slowly, with deeper, darker intentions.

“you wanna say sorry? for being a fucking brat?” he asks in a mocking tone. lifting your chin so you look up at him. your eyes start to fill with tears as he grips your chin. you open your mouth to whine out, “saaap, please, too hard.”

that’s when he first slapped your cheek. nothing too serious, but enough to show that he’s not fucking around. “you have anything useful to say?” you sat on your knees at his feet, looking up and shook your head.

“that’s what i thought.” he says as his spit lands on your cheek, then another slap. your hand moved towards your face, tears threatening to slip. sap sighs, “i knew you’d just be some dumb little bunny, but god you’re so fucking stupid.”

he grabs your hair to pull you to your feet, you shriek at the unexpected pain, quickly getting up. once you’re up, he grabs you by your shoulders and pushes you towards the bed in the corner of his bedroom. the back of your legs hit the bed in a quick motion, with sap standing in front of you. you looked at him, a glint of fear in your eyes. he shook his head and laughed, “i’m gonna have so much fun with you, bunny.”
