Mashle Ending Cars

My Beetle is a massively certified mechanic in Japan who is a bit of a motorcycle fanatic. (I cannot emphasize how much I am understating the term FANATIC here.)

So naturally since I know nothing about cars and they're tangentially related to motorcycles, I asked him to tell me the names of all the cars in the ending, and he did well.

Mash - Nissan Fair Lady's Z 2008 model - He was able to get this one immediately and was like, "Anyone who knows their cars would know this immediately."

Lance - Beetle thought it was a Mazda RX-8 but it might be an import model - We guessed a Ferrari, but a lot of them have different headlight shapes.

Dot - Jeep Wrangler. Thats it. No numbers for you lmao

Finn - Morgan Plus 4 (had to google this one because too many similar looking classic cars and this STILL doesn't look exactly right.)

Rayne - Rolls Royce Phantom III baybee

I LOVE THAT THE AMES BROS HAVE CLASSIC OLDIE CARS. THEY'RE SO STYLISH. We already know that Finn is the only one in the main group with any sense of style and THIS JUST PROVES IT. I wanna go for a spin with him.

(Also classic cars as SO. FUCKING. EXPENSIVE. to own in Japan. The older your car is the more you pay in taxes. Which I wonder if it means anything here...)

Draco Malfoy Ryoh Grantz- Mercedes-Benz Vision Gran Turismo or one of the other versions. This also took a bit of googling cause he could only pin the Brand Name and not the car itself cause it's too new.

Harry Potter Orter Madl- Ashton Martin Vanquisher (THE NAMING SENSE. DID THEY PICK THIS CAR SOLELY FOR THE NAME VANQUISHER???)

Carpaccio - Porche Boxster - He picked up on the headlights immediately because we had a low budget Porche at one point, inherited from his brother.

mingyu would be such a menace this way. he has an eye for you and he knows you do too, no matter how much you try to deny it. he always manages to catch you staring at him or looking at him...or his arms *cough* to be exact and that just gives him a ego boost.

mingyu would see you occasionally at college around lunchtime at the cafeteria or library studying or reading. but this time you were volunteering by the sports team in which mingyu was in. you really didn't want to do this but your friend dragged you along, so here you were, holding out towels and water bottles during the game break. and mingyu was oh so smug and happy about seeing you here. and he's not going to stop there oh no. he would flex his biceps and roll up his sleeves to show off his perfectly toned and built arms, making you have to shake your head and snap yourself out of some unhealthy thoughts. he's just doing the most to tease you and it's really starting to affect you.

but you don't wanna give in to him so you try to play it off but your gaze always ends up going back on him and he smirks to himself knowing that. he loves that he manages to get your attention so easily. so during the break he comes up to you for a bottle of water and you offer him a towel too to wipe the sweat but he doesn't take it. he purposely looks at you and lifts up his shirt to wipe the sweat from his forehead. your eyes widen and you look away, cheeks heating up.

you clear your throat and shove the water bottle in his hand and go look to offer someone else a bottle, trying to not have the mental image of his abs imprinted in your mind. for the rest of the game, he's going to tease you more, looking at you and winking, and at the end mingyu's just throws his shirt off and is playing and you're trying to avoid looking at him, trying not to blush but it doesn't work because he catches you eyes and smirks like an idiot once again.

after the game, you're heading back to grab your bag and head home when chan asks you to give something to mingyu, saying he left it on the field and he runs off, leaving you with another task. you sigh and make your way to the sports room and find mingyu sitting on one of the benches in a white sleeveless top and his hair damp from a shower. mingyu sees you gives you a small smile.

"hi, um chan asked me to give this to you, he said you left it on the field", you mumble out the words, handing the item to mingyu and turning around, ready to run away but his other hand catches your wrist, not letting you go.

"woah, don't run off like that baby", he says amused.

"im not, just i'll get late for my bus", you counter as you turn to face him agian.

"then i'll drop you home", he says with a wink, making your heart flutter. oh god.

"you were pretty cool out there", you say softly after a few seconds of silence.

"hm in know, i saw you staring", he says with a smirk.

"I WAS NOT i was just looking at you playing", you defend, shocked. like he was one to talk after what he was doing on the field.

"just admit you like me babe", he says, stepping closer.

"i-i you're such an annoying idiot", you say instead and he chuckles. "you're cute when you're shy"

I had top surgery 2½ weeks ago. The post op vest is a sensory nightmare, and I have to wear it for 8 weeks total !! D:

Worst part is, its getting warmer too and I don't know how to cope.

Any tips please?

ahhh i feel your pain ;; I had my top surgery on june 4th, so it was hell with the summer heat. Do your best to just be shirtless, the extra layers on my torso made my experience worse. If i was wearing something, it was an oversized loose button down. Sit in a well ventilated area and don't be afraid to put some cold water bottles around ya to help cool you down. They can also help distract you from the binder.

But oh boy, the binder. By day 8 or 10 of wearing the vest it was just hell, and being drugged up on the muscle relaxers helped a little bit. By week 5 of wearing the vest I wanted to explode. All I can say is get as comfortable as possible, take off the vest every now and then, and try to distract yourself as much as possible. Talking to friends, watching media, sleeping (lol) helped me focus away from the icky feeling of fabric trapping you.

And remind yourself that this will probably be the last time you ever have to bind ever again! Be kind to yourself, eat lots of proteins, and drink lots of water :)

I was excited for this game before anything dropped. I love the storytelling of Black Ops, the nuance, and how dark it can get.

And I'm really happy that it's another retro setting. Especially if they lean into the 90s the same way the did with the 80s in Cold War, it will give it such a unique feel.

I had been preparing myself for a game without Woods, so seeing that he seems to play such a huge role in this one- I'm completely over the moon! And it's so cool that they decided to use him in a leadership role rather than sidelining him. The story really has potential, it feels like a classic spy thriller and that's what I want to see. There's some mystery, betrayal, all the good Black Ops stuff I love.

I don't think this game is another MWiii. It could be bad, and I'm preparing myself in case it's bad or lackluster. But MWiii was a game that should have never happened. It wasn't supposed to happen. It was a glorified DLC to see if they could cash in on the success of MWii. And it's bullshit. They could have just let MWii sit for two years and cash in on skins, but they didn't. It was crap and not how you treat a loyal fanbase or the people who work for you. Devs were working nights and weekends to get this thing out and they laid them off when it failed. Basically, that project was doomed from the start.

What gives me hope here is the long development cycle. 4 years, kind of crazy to think that this is the longest development period for any CoD. But it is.

And it sounds like whoever is in charge actually gives a damn about exploring the characters for who they are. So we are going to deal with Woods' feelings around shooting Mason, his injuries, not being in the field anymore, and who knows maybe even being a guardian for a kid (I hope David is at least mentioned in this one).

Even what I've seen of Adler- it does seem like they're sticking to him being an enigma. And while I want to know more about him, at the same time I'd be ok with him just always being a little sus. He's a guy who has spent a lot of time in the shadows. It'll be fun to know what he's been up to since Cold War. Maybe they'll hint at what happened to Bell (if they do hopefully it won't result in rewrites of JWIN because I have a whole lot more to write 😅).

Also Adler and Woods teamup, ngl that sounds pretty cool.

9- any theories on unanswered questions from the game? (about the forgotten island, why colors disappeared, etc)

surprisingly not much tbh?? i love reading other people’s theories on that kinda stuff but i don’t have many of my own.

i guess when it comes to what actually happened to the people of the island, i think they’re still alive and well, they just can’t remember anything related to the world outside of the island. or maybe they’ve even forgotten about the mainland entirely. anyone who leaves the island is just. instantly forgotten by its inhabitants. i imagine foreigners who were visiting completely forgot their pasts like siffrin did. prolly isn’t great over there!!

i also like the idea of the wishes that erased the island and colors were super mundane. someone from the island wished that they could forget all their problems, maybe. or someone was frustrated and wished the world was simpler. whatever those wishes were, i definitely don’t think they were intended to do what they did. the universe was just feeling silly i guess

13- if you’ve played the game, how many loops did you do? if you’ve played multiple times, whats the least amount of loops you did? the most?

ahh this is harder to answer than you’d think. for those who are unaware, i only had like, 2 weeks to beat the entire game because i could only run it using a free trial version of parallels desktop. so i can’t like. actually boot up the game and check unfortunately.

i think my actually completed playthrough went up to… 184 loops? it was somewhere around that number. but the highest amount of loops i’ve gotten was around 233 (thanks op achievement). don’t really have a lowest number, i left my second playthrough once i got all the loop chats. i think i still went over 100 though. i love being thorough and checking random bullshit ❤️

Oooh more Go Gunhee and Woo Jinchul! It's fun to see how much more they're showing up, even more than in the manhwa! Jinchul looks really nice.

lakjdalj I know when Jinchul says, "Would it be all right if I asked for a bit of instruction? . . . It might be the kind of change of pace you need, too." (smile) he's saying, "let's spar" (it's a martial arts thing), but alkdjlaj I love this addition to the cute flirtiness of their relationship. It's very sweet. The novel gave us Gunhee asking Jinchul out for drinks, and now Jinchul is like, "let's spar :3". It's so cute.

Jinwoo v the dungeon boss is pretty cool. It's neat to see Jinwoo move so much, and the animation is gorgeous.

Jinwoo's jacket is giving me Seragaki Aoba DRAMAtical Murder vibes with its ridiculously wide collar lol (Doesn't help they're both that same bright blue).

Gunhee's fond gaze as he faces Jinchul :3 Also it's neat to see Gunhee fight. We're not getting to the Frost Monarch this season, so it's a nice little preview of hopefully future seasons.

- Cora has black swan wings and Doffy has flamingo wings (the only time I'll ever include this dude in my AUs. I avoid this mf cuz I'm starting to like him 😭). Idk what to give Law lmao–

- Cora's wings are huge. Like, 260cm/8'6ft. They're also waterproof, he uses them to cover the people from the rain.

- Law's wings are sensitive, so he doesn't like people touching them unless he gives them permission and consent to do so. Cora is an exception tho, Law even reaches out himself so Cora would touch them (No, Bepo isn't jealous. Of course he isn't.. whaaaat. He's totally okay with sharing his pseudo blanket with Cora..!!! That's a lie. Bepo is sulking in the corner while listening to Uta's songs).

- When it's Cora's time to moult in the summer, Law usually takes him flying when he wants/needs to. It's Law's favourite part of every summer, he gets to have Cora in his arms as he takes them flying. Law also helps toss out the old feathers, but some of them are gonna be used and turn into coats for the both of them.

- As you mentioned, feather accessories! I love those omg, thank you for suggesting them!! Cora has a single earring with Law's feather dangling from it. Law has a feather of Cora's attached to Kikoku and another as an earring.

- Law's wings are warmer than Cora's (that's the real reason why Bepo likes sleeping next to Law, trust me /j), so Cora likes to be the little spoon most of the time, just so he could feel Law's warm wings engulf him (they rarely spoon each other, they look like the type to sleep with their backs flat on the mattress). Law's wings are 210cm/6'10 ft, taller than himself when tucked in (Yes I did use the height comparison website on Google lmao).

(...Nah I'm not gonna give their wings width measurements, I'm too lazy for that and it's 5am)

- And because Cora's wings are huge, it makes him hard to stay balanced and upright. Falling means he starts panicking, panicking means his wings starts flailing, his wings flailing means knocking off whatever it is near him and slapping people in the face lol. He tries to tuck them in as close as possible.

Ahhh also thinking about Cora being so used to trying to make his wings as small as possible and not inconvenience anyone with them, but one time Law makes a point to take them somewhere with a wide, open space and ask to see them... Or Cora has to fly them somewhere for the first time while running from Marines/some group that's not worth staying and fighting. And Law is just!!! awed!! at the sight of them!!! I know clumsiness is part of Cora's charm, but based on that mission where he stole the op-op fruit, we know he can be really coordinated and stealthy when needed. So, like, when he finally makes full use of his wings, maybe he's one of the fastest/swiftest flyers Law has seen.
