I have no idea why people send parts that don't match the listing. "aaaah looks close enough" my brother in christ it does not fit what I bought it for and is unsuitable as a replacement part! It's not likely that the buyer won't notice!

#tetranymous.txt #this has happened to me so many times in a row lately #only once I could make it work (phone battery)#but my xp gpu; the second xp gpu (replacement for the 1st) and now my phone's headphone jack?!?!#i'm kinda glad the connector is like 1/4 mil wider because then i'd be tempted to try it (likely not pin compatible)#it's not even as subtle as that. the wire is pointing the WRONG direction from both my old one and their listing photos. wrong length too #AND IT WAS TWELVE DOLLARS #if it was not for the laws of [NOT HAVING SURFACE MOUNT SOLDERING EQUIPMENT] then I would have [WORKING PART]#the jacks themselves are identical; it's the pcb; wire and connector that don't match (yknow. THE PART THAT MAKES IT WORK)#worst part is I CANNOT work out where I ordered the previous one from (that DID fit)#aaaaaaaaaaaa and I only found out it didn't match when I was about to instaaaaaaaaaall it. AFTER cleaning off all the old thermal paste #*sigh* this will probably be the last time I get parts from ebay unless I have no other choice #gonna go reassemble my phone now

#detroit become human #simon pl600 #north wr400 #sometimes i miss drawing simon and today is one of those days #bonus north because i just seem to always draw him in the same pose so shes there to spice it up #do not tell me ive drawn them in the same pose before im a one trick pony i know #also having a lil fun with not drawing all the lines which is insane #as someone who loves drawing line art #today bad (at work) and today wore me out and ive already taken a nap and shower #but you guys wanna know the highlight of my day in the way of i didnt have it on my bingo card?#it was wet and cold and raining and im taking an order out to a truck and the guy is like oh hey can you go to the otherside for em #my wheelchair is behind my seat so you cant really fit things there #and im like yeah ok sure #and then as im loading in the groceries hes like its really cold and raining and you still have to take that out?#do you not have a raincoat? and im like ... no unfortunately i uh... dont normally take orders out #so i didnt think to bring one and yeah its ok #and he just without hesitation after i said no was like DO YOU WANT MINE #sir what no thats so kind of you but no thank you please no i cannot take YOUR JACKET #and i told him no thank you it was very nice to offer but i was like two minutes away from clocking out so id get warm soon!#and he was like oh ok :c and i just think thats so nice ?#like some of the workers will rag on people for still using a grocery pick up service DESPITE working in the pickup dept #and then i take orders out and its to disabled people who cant get out of their vehicles easily #or its stressed moms trying to keep three kids in check who thank me so much for still being a service she can use #cause three kids in a grocery store can be a nightmare #and like ... idk man! thinking about that woman who got like 400 dollars of groceries and was stressed about a gettogether #and i mentioned i had been thinking about getting one of the twelve packs of drinks she got #that was a limited flavor i think and she just goes OH WONDERFUL! can i give you one???#and just was so quick to offer me a can of soda and was so happy when it was already pretty chilled so i could enjoy it #not that every person who uses the service has been polite when i take orders out but the majority have been?#and you might be asking well salmon why was it a bad day

How is loulou? Given the last update I’m hoping he’s ok :(

Loulou is doing great!!

I was worried about his tail but there's a specialist in town who took a look and said it just looks like normal wear and tear- apparently it happens with long tail varieties, and I'm not surprised since he's a double tail and can't really pull them in like a veiltail might. They're kinds just... always flared-looking? But yeah, made extra sure there are no sharps or abrasives in his tank so it's likely just... regular friction, I suppose? Idk.

Anyhow, his tank was getting a bit high on the acidity, so I tried a few different ph testers and they all say it's good now. Water changes and some lil tank cones for tannins. He's just as excitable and goofy as ever!

(And apparently what I thought might be stress stripes was not that.)

So. Still kinda nervous about it all but he... seems to be fine? Keeping an eye out regardless.

But anyway here's a picture!!!

14 inch laptops are very nice okay. i love my lenovo ideapad l3 to bits but holy fuck lugging it around campus is an ordeal. i search 13 inch laptops. macbook air. i stoutly refuse to even consider switching to the mac os. asus proart px13. i do not need allat in terms of specs. dell xps 13. the keyboard is hideous i cannot let that be the instrument through which i create. i will never ever use an hp, my mother suffers the despair of Hinges every day. i am losing hope.

Epithet Erased is a webseries + audiobook!

Now, that might sound confusing, but here's a quick little explanation from what I know:

Originally, there was Anime Campaign, a TTRPG (Table Top Role-Playing Game, think Dungeons and Dragons) that @/jelloapocalypse, also known as Brendan Blaber, and some friends played.

Then, Blaber created Epithet Erased, which is the webseries. It follows characters in a world where one in five people are "Inscribed", meaning that they have an Epithet; a word attached to their soul that gives them magical abilities.

(The main example is "Dumb", which you could make things quiet or stupid)

After the success of the webseries, Blaber began trying to create a second "season". However, animating everything was really expensive, so he decided to do a full cast audiobook!

Both are really good and funny, and I like the characters a lot. I am happy to answer any other questions you might have, but that's the gist of it :)
