Seeing how CNET talked about it, and actually seeing the promo made me realize this isn't some wish shit- this is actually happening. As someone who grew up obsessed with sci-fi, my heart is absolutely pounding.

No, this isn't Virtual Reality. It's Augmented Reality (AR). Meaning, despite having glasses on like a headset, your seeing the software literally floating in your living room/bathroom/local @dennys . This is totally in the starter stages, (remember when VR began popping off and it was... yeah) so don't expect it to be some perfect Star Trek shit, but it functions as intended.

Unlike VR, I am getting the impression this AR Laptop is more spatially aware and doesn't make you break your neck to look to the left. I could literally go on for years on this new technology but I'm gonna leave it here- or I'll never stop lol.

How did you, like, upload it?

It’s simpler than you’d think. With certain peices of technology you can make different types of souls into a sort of “copy” which you can put into a vessel to allow that Soul to control something to stay alive. Making it from scratch is very difficult but we already had somethin’ that can do that. The usbsea. And myself

Usbseas is that specific type of technology I mentioned, usually used for Warforged or Construct Souls but adding a part of a different Soul to the organic one would give it enough of a hold to the usbsea so it can stay ‘alive’

So I put a piece of my soul into the usbsea and then put that into Fuckass’s brain matter (luckily it hadn’t been dead for long) and then waited for its Soul to “soak” into it. Then when it seemed done I put the usbsea into my vessel and allowed the Soul to “roam” around the part that allows me access to here, 1 ‘cause I don’t want it to control me or any parts of me that’re important, 2 cause I know yall liked Fuckass, and 3 also as a temporary holding spot until I can get Fuckass a vessel of its own. Until then you’ll see it every now and then when you see this [𓅰]

I fully appreciate the time between TRON movies bc like yes I want more TRON but if Disney oversaturated the market with TRON to the point they made me hate it I would be so mad.

I worked overtime so much on this project that I forgot to post it (IT KEEPS HAPPENING) but here’s some screenshots from a video I made about how we might use XR to reduce material waste in the future!

I created most of the 3D models you see in these images, and I also assigned physics to them so that they behave realistically when touched.

for the rest I just downloaded them - because everything published to Figmin XR is creative commons. believe it or not, I’m not the only holographic toymaker out there!! 🤯

I cannot get over how fun Figmin XR is in multiplayer. like this isn’t even self promotion anymore this is just me screaming into the void because I CANNOT stop thinking about this

I painted a whole crystal forest around someone I had just met and it took like 3 minutes, the whole time with him saying “how are you doing that?! I wanna learn to make that!!” me and my sibling made a nonsense meme world out of our living room and attacked each other with squeaky toys that we created on the spot. me and my dad drove RC monster trucks together. me and my boss’s kid made a storybook world based on a hike we’d taken earlier that day with her and her mom. before the hike, I’d been busy throwing confetti and balloons all around their house. I was supposed to be working with my boss on designing sports scenes, but we just kept getting distracted by playing them instead.

this is literal magic….. like. WIZARD levels of magic (the weed-smoking kind, not that harry potter shit). social barriers dissolve instantly and everyone starts summoning things out of thin air and just… playing together. imagining. like children again.

there’s a very powerful phenomena happening here that I can’t even fully put into words, but…. it’s really, really beautiful.
