Lonely Aftermath+Short Rushed Comic

AHHHH this was meant to be a response to someone’s doodle request for happy-to-be-in-love JMart, sorry to whoever you are (i remember you had a cat pfp but i forgot your name) but tumblr deleted the ask when I tried to save the draft T-T

Anyway it ended up less happy-to-be-in-love and more happy-that-they’re-together :’D Please enjoy!

The drawing is coloured with yellows radiating from the center between Jon and Martin turning into pinks then dark blues.

The comic takes place in the Scottish Safe house, it’s the middle of the night and moonlight streams from a window into a bedroom. Inside, Jon and Martin sleep in the same bed. Their glasses on a bedside table and both just in t-shirts. They may be on the same bed but they both turn away from each other and are physically very distant. Suddenly, Martin sits up from the bed and leans on his pillow.

He sleepily turns behind him to look at Jon who’s deeply asleep.

He tries to gently reach for Jon using his other hand, as if to wake him, but stops.

He looks as if he’s reconsidering, and he lowers his hand with a gentle smile.

He lies down again but this time facing Jon’s back. He stares at him with a look of love and adoration.

“Thank you, Jon” is written in all caps, underneath it is a small “I love you” in lowercase between parenthesis.

There is a shot of Jon, still asleep.

“Of course, Martin” is written in all caps, underneath it is a small “I love you too” in lowercase between parenthesis.

AU idea I had stewing for a while

The vibes are Scooby Doo in Highschool except the ghosts they hunt are Leitners and also they're British (so I guess they're in Secondary School.) I just wanted to see them as troublemaking teens who have a penchant for solving mystery and arson. Luckily the mysteries of Jurgen Leitner provide avenues for both. Who is Jurgen Leitner? Why does he have so many fucked up (if true) books? Why are a shit ton of them popping up in and around school campus? That's what this trio want to find out! Feel free to ask questions since this AU is not like, 100% complete or set in stone. Might be fun.

The Ceaseless(?) Watchers

I have no idea what movie they're watching but Tim's invested anyway. I thought this was only going to take me a couple of minutes but it actually took a long while because

A. I forgot how hard it is to draw multiple characters in one scene

B. Low angle go brrr

But it was fun! The crew just hanging out and doing normal stuff for a change! Sure hope nothing happens to them ahahaha :)

S1 v S4 JMart ft. Cat Jon

The first comic is set in season one. The first panel has Martin cautiously approach Jon who is at his desk, reading a statement while holding a mug. Martin says "H-hey Jon! Here's the files you asked for-" Jon then hisses at Martin and jumps away in his seat for the second panel. He throws his hands over himself, spilling the contents of his mug in the process. Alarmed cat ears appear on him as well as a tail. Martin looks surprised and jumps away from Jon, holding his hand in the air and the files close to his chest.

The second comic is set during the Scottish Safehouse Period. Jon and Martin are in bed during early morning with their arms over each other, Jon's on top of Martin's. In the first panel, Martin is trying to reach for his glasses while saying "Jon...we need to start the day..." Jon then weakly hisses in the second panel. His arm clutches Martin's shoulder and the alarmed cat ears and tail appear again. In the third panel, Martin gives up on reaching for his glasses and instead hugs Jon back. He smiles and says "Fine. Five more minutes." Jon smiles back and two hearts float above him./.End ID]

Jonathan "Mah-tin" Sims is a cat confirmed. Did this instead of working on another piece lmao.

Messed around in Clip Studio today and tried to animate the Jarchivist rolling his eyes. I'm actually quite happy with it considering how quick it was and how long it's been since I've animated anything. Not quite sure what he’s saying but I think I see a “Whatever.”

There’s no story here. I just wanted a suave Jon to dance dip Martin and call him “Darling.” I think “Darling” is a top-tier term of endearment. Long time no cell-shading.

Unfortunate Meeting pt2

The scene is set from Tim, Sasha, and Martin’s point of view. Attention is pointed to the tree canopy with an arrow that says “In the woods?” Then it is directed at Agnes Montague who stares at them, shocked, an arrow points at her to with the text “Who?” Then at Gerry Keay who faces away, now holding his shovel above his back with the arrow and phrase “Delinquent Goth Boy???” Agnes an Gerry share the text and arrows “Also shovels?” The dirt mound then gets focus with two arrows, one says “Lumpy dirt mound?!” and the other “No seriously wtf is that?!” Lastly, attention is brought to Jon who is at the foreground and is staring at the group too. He has two arrows around him which include “Covered in dirt” and “Shovel.”

Cut back to Tim, Sasha, and Martin who all look slightly horrified. Tim starts “Wha...” Sasha cuts in “What happened here?” Then Martin yells “Did you bury a body!” in all-caps in the same explosive text-box used for Tim in the previous page.

Jon then leaps out at Martin with an equally horrified and angry expression, grabs Martin’s jacket, and also yells in all-caps in an explosive text-box “What the hell do you mean ‘did I bury a body?!’” Martin, also shocked and angry, yells back “We were all thinking it, Jon!” also in all caps as he falls backwards.

A hand then yoinks the back of Jon’s jacket.

It turns out to be Agnes who is now holding Jon by the back of his jacket like a cat holds its kitten by the scruff of its neck. Agnes looks at them with an amused, if smug, expression. Martin is now holding himself up from the floor, unharmed. Jon is dangling though both his feet touch the ground. Jon angrily says “We were not burying a body.” with “not” in all-caps. Agnes replies “We were burying a pile of ashes.” Jon again replies “Not. Helping. Agnes.” in all-caps./.End ID]

Nothing like getting indirectly accused of murder by your clubmates who are slowly becoming your friends. Though perhaps Jon *may* have overreacted.
