it's finally done!! this comic took me about 26h 20min (and an overall time of over 2 months) and is based on the fic with the same name, written by @advena-perditus (you can find it here. check it out, it's very good)

a note: I'm still working on improving the designs of Tim and Sasha (I accidentally made Not!Sasha more similar to how I imagine Sasha, so I'll have to work on that, but I wasn't going to change the entire drawing for it), but I'm overall quite happy with how it turned out :)

I have seen a lot of people against fannon Tim. Personaly I love fannon Tim. People forget that in cannon he is just a fun guy, that he immidatly assumes Jon is sleeping with cops. People say that the characterization is beucase he is bi. And like, no? We have multiple bi characters, like Jon and Georgie. I don't know, tell me what you think.

like my fifth attempt at finding this fic, its lost to the tags of ao3 so im hoping someone in the fandom remembers it. so, it was a magnus archives time travel fix-it fic where s5 jon went back to s1, and tim & sasha (and maybe martin?) find him collapsed in the library and their like "oh my god is this a homeless corpse" but then tim is like "hey doesnt this guy look like jon" and i think its from Tim's perspective, at least the first chapter. it definitely had more than one chapter, but ive read so many time travel fix-its for tma that i cant guarantee what happened after that. it was on ao3. can someone please help me find this i miss it so much

Or what if he does remember what they look like and see this reality’s Tim.

He forgets for just a moment that this isn’t his tim that this isn’t his world. He shouts his name tears beginning to well in his eyes. Tim turns to face him a confused look on his face as he sees the man.

“Sorry do I know you?” Tim asks and with a crushing force Jon remembers this isn’t his tim this isn’t his world. But as Jon turns apologizes and he turns to leave he feels a bit of relief that this tim doesn’t recognize him because that means that Jon never hurt this Tim.

The thing that keeps me up at night when I think about Jon, Tim, Sasha and Martin interactions during season 1, it's how real everything was.

In season 4 Jon mentioned how they never stopped and talked about the cases as a group, this is because they didn't understand the gravity of the situation during season 1, they didn't understand that their time with each other was limited. but how would they understand that? no one there can see the future after all, they didn't know. They simply couldn't know.

And I think... That's such a real thing. We keep taking people, time, for granted. We think that it doesn't matter if we decline that birthday party invitation this year, because there's always next year. We think that it doesn't matter if we don't say "hello" and "good bye" and "how was your day?" To the people around us because you're going to see them again tomorrow, and then you can just ask them about it, tomorrow.

The archives assistants and their Archivist shows us that sometimes there is no tomorrow, that you might regret not doing such a simple and, at the time, inconsequential thing.

It could be a very pessimistic message, but I like to take it as encouragement. To be kind, and try forming stronger connections with people you like. That maybe, that person you like, can become someone you love if you just give them enough of your time while you still have it.
