Queen Charlotte had 9 siblings all together, she was the 8th of 10 children born to her parents. Of those 10 children, 6 survived to adulthood.
First was Christiane, the eldest child. She never married and became a canoness later in life.
Next was Adolphus Frederick IV, who succeeded their uncle as Duke of Mecklenburg-Strelitz. He never married or had children, and was himself succeeded by his younger brother Charles.
Charles II was the next surviving child, and became Duke after his brother died childless. He would marry twice, with his descendants becoming part of the Royal Houses across Europe
Duke Ernest Gottlob was the seventh child, born two years before Charlotte. He was said to have fallen in love with the heiress Mary Bowes (An ancestor of the Queen mother) but no marriage took place. He became a military governor in Hanover, and would attempt to marry once more later in his life to settle his debts, but this came to nothing as well.
Duke George Augustus was Charlotte's only surviving younger sibling. He moved to Great Britain and served two years in the Royal Navy, also obtaining his doctorate in legal studies. He would later serve in the Austrian army under Maria Theresa, being promoted to the rank of Brigadier general. Like two of his brothers, he remained unmarried, and he passed away in his late 30s.
A daughter name Caroline was born between Christiane and Adolphus, but died the day of her birth.
After Adolphus, two more daughters were born. Elisabeth Christine who died a few days before her second birthday, and then Sophie Louise who died about 3 months before her second birthday.
Between Charlotte and George, another son named Gotthelf was born, but he only lived for two days.

THE CHILDREN OF KING GEORGE III & QUEEN CHARLOTTE OF THE UNITED KINGDOM
The royal couple welcomed a total of fifteen children together, but sadly not all of them survived into adulthood. Two, Prince Octavius and Prince Alfred, passed away in infancy, at the ages of 2 and 4, respectively, from smallpox. Later on, Princess Amelia also sadly died young, albeit it at the age of 27, after succumbing to tuberculosis. As for when their brood started to arrive, it seems George and Charlotte wasted no time in getting to know one another and less than a year into their marriage, on 12 August 1762

( VANESSA MORGAN + FEMALE + SHE/HER ) dearest reader , i am ever so delighted to introduce PRINCESS MARY, the twenty-nine year old princess, known among the ton as gentle + warm but their foes would certainly tell you that they are more nervous + gullible. perhaps that is why many seem to think they had something to do with the ongoings around the ton, but here they are anyway !
overview
full name : Princess Mary nickname(s) : n/a pronouns : she / her age : 29 birthday : april 25th
family
father : king george iii mother : queen charlotte siblings : george iv, prince frederick, prince william iv, princess charlotte, prince edward, princess augusta sophia, princess elizabeth, prince augustus, prince augustus frederick, prince adolphus, princess sophia, prince octavius, prince alfred, princess amelia
about
Mary is the eleventh child and fourth daughter of King George III and Queen Charlotte. Like her siblings she grew up rather sheltered and in turn this has given her both a naivety and a fear of the world around her.
Mary is quite often found to be nervous. It is almost as if she is just always waiting for something bad to happen -- as if she feels as if there is something waiting around every corner. There are so many "what ifs" that could happen in every situation and with not knowing what the outcome could be, she worries.
Her naivety also plays into these fears she has and often causes her to be quite gullible. If she is in a state of fear and nervousness, it is easy for anyone to convince her of whatever they want. On one had, she could be convinced of things becoming worse and causing a spiral of worry within the woman. But on the other hand, because she so very much wants things to be okay, she's easily persuaded into believing things will be okay when told they will be -- even in those times when her worry is warranted.
Mary isn't always a big ball of nervous energy. She is one of the most welcoming, kind, and friendly person you will ever meet. She welcomes everyone with open and loving arms. Don't count on her to be the person to put you in your place when you are wrong but, if you are looking for someone to support you no matter what, Mary is your girl.

George III and the Royal Family on the Terrace at Windsor, 1781
A procession walking in couples (right to left) across a quadrangle or court. They go in order of age: the two youngest infants, each in the arms of a lady, go first, the king and queen last. Prince Frederick and the Prince of Wales walk together; the next couple, the Princess Royal and Prince William Henry, turn round to look at their elder brothers. Princess Augusta Sophia has her arm round the shoulders of her brother Edward; next, Princess Elizabeth walks with an arm across the shoulders of Ernest; two little boys, Augustus and Adolphus, are next. In front of them are two little girls, Princess Mary and Princess Sophia. The two infants in arms are Octavius and Alfred (born in 1779 and 1780).

My one major complaint of Queen Charlotte is that Lady Danbury and Adolphus did not fuck at least once. ?????? What does this show have against German nobility. First prince Friedrich now this
Also like I'm sorry but Lady Danbury's great love that she lost being a Duke from foreign land with whom she can't be with because their priorities are too different is a much better and interesting option than him being the middle aged dad from across the estate??
Also historically Adolphus Frederick IV never married. Delicious. The implications. Imagine the potential here The PINING. We could have had it all

E6 still. Gotta love a married couple with a healthy sex life. I just looked it up -- Frederick was born 4 days after Georgie's first birthday. They definitely didn't waste any time.
Young Violet is out in society already? I guess we missed her presentation. She has no idea how awkward she's making it for her dad and Agatha. Her mother remains horrid. Uh oh, does she suspect something?
"We have chosen to name him George the Fourth." Um, Shonda, that's not how it works. The monarch chooses what name they want to go by. Georgie did decide to become George IV but that was his decision, not his parents'.
Augusta's face. She knows her power over her son is practically gone, as it should be.
I don't blame Agatha for turning Adolphus down, she needs to learn how to be her own person. The real Adolphus never married, his title went to his brother after his death.
Augusta finally figured it out! Took her long enough.
Edward and Victoria telling Charlotte baby Victoria is on the way. "Strong queen" Yeah, she was that, it's just that "strong" doesn't always mean "good." Aww, Edward's smile as he hugs his mother.
Aww, Frederick's on the way. Like I said, the gap between Georgie and Frederick was not much at all.
Older Agatha at Bridgerton House and Older Violet has decorated the sitting room with paper crowns. What is unsaid is making this scene increasingly tense. Is this supposed to be an unspoken understanding or are they just avoiding the paper elephant in the room?
Aww, the ending was perfect! Each seeing the other as they were when they first married. So sweet.

He held the title of Duke of Cambridge from 1801 until his death. He also served as Viceroy of Hanover on behalf of his brothers George IV and William IV. His granddaughter Princess Victoria Mary of Teck, daughter of Princess Mary Adelaide, was the wife of King George V, and paternal grandmother of Queen Elizabeth II.
