Dc x Dp prompt #08
Danny is stuck in a dating simulator game (for whatever reason) and he can't find a way out of this game.
Tim bought this game because he was bored and wanted something to play. He caught his eye with the character that wasn’t on the list that can be dating.
Maybe that's a secret character that needs to be unlocked before dating?
He will find a way to flirt with that character, no matter what.

꒰ა ☆ ໒꒱
it was late at the walter's house. y/n was invited over by danny during rehearsal for their spring play. she stayed for dinner, and the lot was finishing cleaning the board game they played multiple rounds of.
it started raining heavily almost an hour ago. winds started picking up, and thunder crashed every so often.
she was quick to grab her things out of danny's room. she passed by some of the walter boys, and made her way to the front door where katherine and george were.
"hey sweetie, you ready to go?" katherine asked while slipping her jacket on. shr agreed to take y/n home, knowing the girl's parents were out of town this weekend.
the two were about to slip out of the house, when a loud crash of thunder echoes and the lights shut off.
"damnit, again!" george exclaims from the kitchen. katherine looks out one of the windows and gasps, making y/n join her. the rain picked up even more, the wind was blowing stronger and the roads were in no condition for driving. the thunder and lightning increased, which only made y/n's nerves grow. she wasn't the biggest fan of thunderstorms. if she was in her own home, she would've felt a little better, but going home was impossible tonight.
katherine started taking her jacket off, "why don't you stay here tonight, is that okay?"
y/n simply nods.
"alex," katherine calls into the living room. he was busy playing a video game with isaac. "can you grab y/n some pajamas?"
alex stands from the couch, "sure, come on y/n."
y/n follows alex upstairs and into his room. y/n notied the house was quiet, almost too quiet. she soon realized most of the family members were asleep.
alex finds a pair of shorts and old t-shirt for y/n, and hands them to her.
"thanks alex," she smiles. alex and y/n didn't talk usually. she was always over hanging out with danny, either helping him with lines for a play, or just watching a movie together.
"you can uh- change in here if you want," alex offers.
"thank you," you smile again, and watch as he walks out of his room to give you privacy. y/n can't help but slightly chuckle at how nervous alex seemed whenever she was around. granted, she does have a crush on the walter boy, she wonders if he's nervous like that around other girls.
katherine was sweet enough to offer the couch for you to sleep on, instead of sharing a room with one of the boys. after maybe an hour of y/n being downstairs, she feels a dip in the couch, and isn't surprised to see danny turning on the tv. y/n notices a few lights were on, she guessed the power was back on.
y/n sits up, and rubs her eyes due to the bright tv.
"did i wake you?" danny asks, "i swear i was trying to be quiet."
y/n shakes her head, "no, no danny it's okay."
"you can go sleep in my bed, i might be down here for the night."
y/n gladly takes up danny's offer. she grabs the blanket off the couch and says goodnight to him, before heading up the very creaky stairs.
y/n enters danny and cole's shared room. her eyes aren't even closed for ten minutes before cole starts to snore, possibly louder than the thunder outside.
y/n groans, knowing she'll get no sleep if she stays in this room. she grabs the blanket again, and quietly walks out of the room. the room right next to cole and danny's is isaac and lee's. she knocks, however can't even open the door fully, as she looks down and is met with the messist floor known to mankind. she definitely won't be sleeping in their room.
y/n then passed by nathan and jordan's room. she heard nathan's guitar from outside the door, and heard jordan muttering something. she was guessing jordan was filming something, and she didn't want to bother his process. she remembers the last time she interrupted one of his videos, never again.
y/n easily walks by parker and benny's shared room. she knew the two youngest siblings would be asleep, and didn't want to disturb them.
this only leaves one room left, alex's room.
she knew he wasn't asleep, as she sees a dull light coming from the bottom of the door. she knocks quietly, before hearing a confused 'come in'.
"oh, hey," alex sits up in his bed, "i figured you'd be asleep."
y/n shakes her head, "no, uh danny came downstairs, then i tried to sleep in his room but cole started snoring. and i didn't want to bother any of the others," she now stands there awkwardly, still holding the blanket she took from the couch.
alex scoots over in his bed, and pats the blanket, "you can join me," he smiles but his instantly starts stuttering, "unless you don't want to, of course. i figured i'd offer cause you said you couldn't sleep-"
y/n's laugh cuts him off, "i'd love to," she sends him a smile as she climbs besides alex.
she notices the book in his lap, with a bookmark placed halfway inside, "i'm guessing you can't sleep either?"
alex shakes his head, "just had some things on my mind. reading usually helps me clear my head," he gestures to the book.
the two sit in a comfortable silence for a few moments before y/n breaks it. "did you finish the history assignment for mr. norbit's class?"
alex shakes his head, "no not yet, i think i have a couple pages left."
y/n nods in response, before busying herself with her hands. she realized the two don't talk much outside of school, or their history work.
she also realized she's never been this nervous around alex before.
"what do you have on your mind?"
alex turns to the girl, his eyes break away from his book with confusion filling them.
y/n gestures to the book in his hands, "you said you reading helps you clear your head. do you want to talk about anything?"
alex knew he couldn't tell y/n what was on his mind. the very girl he couldn't stop thinking of was sitting right next to him. he couldn't remember a time where he didn't like y/n. he also couldn't help but get the feeling cole had liked her, and he didn't want a redo of what happened with paige.
alex simply shakes his head, "no, no it's kinda stupid."
"whatever it is, i won't think it's stupid."
alex tosses his book aside and faces y/n, "there's this girl, and i feel like she's falling for cole and his dumb cole effect. i mean every single girl i fall for, he has to show up and swoop her off her feet."
y/n doesn't say anything at first, which worries alex. she only leans forwards on her knees and wraps her arms around his shoulders. it doesn't take long for alex to hold onto the girl's waist.
y/n pulls away, making both her and alex's arms fall at their sides. she sits back against the headboard.
"so who's the girl you're head over heels for?"
alex laughs and shakes his head again, "i can't tell you that."
"what, why?" y/n groans with a smile, "how am i supposed to help you with girl trouble if i can't know what girl we're talking about?"
alex turns his head to avoids y/n's eyes, and his voice is much quieter than before. "it's you," he pauses, "the girl is you."
y/n's heart instantly warms, and she can't help but giggle, "you thought i fell for the cole effect?"
alex shrugs before running his hands over his face, "i- i don't know, every girl i like, cole ends up taking her from me."
y/n scoots over closer to alex, and rests her head on his shoulder. her voice is soft.
"cole could never take me away from you."
alex turns his body quickly, now facing y/n, "what do you mean?"
y/n giggles, "the cole effect hasn't worked on me, and it never will. now the alex effect, that hit me hard," she laughs more, only making alex laugh as well.
"the alex effect?" he recites.
"yeah," y/n smiles before playing with her chipped nail polish, "you make me nervous, and whenever someone walks into a room i'm hoping it's you. you're basically always on my mind."
a chuckle from alex cuts y/n off.
"what?" she asks.
"i make you nervous? i can't believe i was able to do that!" he laughs, and a blush appears on y/n's cheeks.
another comfortable silence feels alex's room, before alex reaches his hands out to hold onto y/n's. her eyes meet his, and she swore she felt her heart stopped. she watched as he looked between her eyes, and then down to her lips.
alex leans forward slightly. y/n gasps as she feels his breath over her parted lips. she takes her hands out of alex's to rest them on his cheeks, making her pull his face towards hers.
call it cheesy, but y/n felt fireworks once alex's lips were on hers. she's thought about kissing the boy before, but never imagined it like this. his lips were soft, and his hands were gentle as they moved to her waist.
alex turns his head to deepen the kiss, and pushes slightly, making y/n lean back onto his bed.
the kiss deepens a bit more, before the two pull away to take in a few deep breaths.
y/n plays with the hair at the base of his neck, "how long have you been waiting to do that?"
alex chuckles, "oh, only forever."
he leans back down to kiss her again and cuts off her intoxicating giggle in the process.

Ohhh new ship ask game. Paulina and Danny maybe?
"And... why do you want me specifically?"
Paulina flashed Danny her heart-melting smile. "Because! You've got a great shape for it, and you wouldn't want to let me down, would you?"
"Of course not," he said, trying to contain his sigh. Sure, he'd gotten over her more than a year ago, but he couldn't help it. He was a people-pleaser. Especially when it came to his people.
It still didn't mean he was totally okay with being used like this.
"Plus just think! The statement you'll make!" Paulina threw an arm around his shoulder and spread her hand across the horizon in front of them. "Picture it: some los- er, a lost soul finding their way because you, Danny Phantom, were bold enough to take a stand! How could you let an opportunity like that pass you by?"
To his credit, he didn't flinch when she used his celebrity name. After all, much to his (and Sam's) surprise, she had respected him enough to continue to call him Danny Fenton, unlike some kids, who for some reason thought they could just call him Phantom as he passed by in the hallway. Or even worse, the adults who would refer to him as Mr. Phantom, even if he was very obviously in human form.
But he couldn't deny the flashbacks of the shrines she'd built in her locker freshman and sophomore years. She'd torn them down immediately, of course, after the revelation, but they still burned a hole in his memory.
Plus she'd never actually admitted to having lost her crush on 'her' ghost boy. For all he knew, this was a ruse to get him closer to her.
Still though, Paulina was cleverly manipulative. She knew exactly what to say to tug on his core and make him want to give in.
He groaned. "Alright, fine, but this is a one-time thing, you hear?"
She squealed and grabbed his hand. "Oh, Danny, you're the best! I promise, if you hate it, you'll never have to do it again! I swear!"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Well.
He didn't hate it. Surprisingly.
Actually, it looked really... pretty?
Sitting there, a half hour after Paulina had approached him, he rotated his hand, letting the sun catch the different colors in the polish she'd painted on his nails. At one angle, it looked like a deep, vibrant teal, and if he tilted it just to the side, it turned into a rich, shiny purple. Tiny sparkles covered the whole nail, reflecting like hundreds of itty bitty stars in a sky that he held on his finger.
"How'd you get it to do the multi-color thing?" he asked absently. He couldn't tear his eyes away from the sight.
Paulina was still bent over his other hand, working on painstakingly applying more polish. He didn't understand, considering she'd done that hand in the same holographic colors, but she insisted it wasn't finished. "I didn't do it. It's just the polish. Now cállate! I'm trying to concentrate."
Apparently she was very serious about her manicure skills. The way she shushed him, stuck her tongue out a bit as she worked, and moved ever so carefully, it all showed a dedication to the art that he had never realized was possible.
Another two minutes passed before she sat upright, nearly causing Danny to jump three feet in the air. "There!" she said triumphantly, putting the lid back on the polish bottle. "Tell me what you think of that."
At first, he couldn't see what she'd done differently. The nails were shinier than they had been - probably that clear bottle sitting to her side - but nothing else had changed.
And then he saw it.
Only on his ring finger, his logo, perfectly painted out onto the nail in white. It stood out against the purple and blue and green of the polish underneath and brought out the tiny stars even more.
His heart caught in his throat. Sure, he'd seen plenty of people wearing his logo in many different ways by now, but this... something about this was different. Maybe it was how he couldn't help but see the depths of space now at his fingertips. Maybe it was how she'd clearly spent a lot of time and effort making the logo look absolutely perfect, without a stray line to be seen. Maybe it was how instead of standing out loudly, garishly like he saw on so much other merchandise featuring it, it somehow simultaneously blended in yet stood out elegantly, subtly.
Paulina watched him gape wordlessly at his hand. She flipped her hair over her shoulder with a proud smile. "Told you it'd be great," she said with the confidence of someone who'd never doubted her skill for a moment.
She had every right to have that confidence, as far as he was concerned.
He looked up at her, still unable to speak, and her grin only widened. "Do you want me to do the other one?"
Danny immediately nodded, then stopped himself. "Would... would it be weird if I... left it on?" he asked quietly. He wasn't opposed to the polish itself, of course, but to walk around school, around town with something that wasn't really his? Even if he loved it?
Her laugh tinkled in the air. "Of course, silly! Why would I spend so much time just for you to get rid of it?" she giggled as she reopened the bottle.
Her grin didn't fade as she bent over the hand he'd been admiring. "Just wait till you see what other designs I've been working on."
"You have more?"
She glanced up at him. "Uh, duh. But... I suppose you said it was just this one time," she said with a sigh.
Danny blushed. "Well, I - uh, you know... I mean, maybe you could... um... again - only if you want to though! I wouldn't - I can't -"
Her laugh echoed across the field and up into the sky.

Almost Midnight
word count: 1514
blurb: Danny takes the New Years opportunity to give Caitie a first-kiss do-over
tw: mention of non-consensual/unwanted kiss
Tumblr media
Danny steps outside, leaving the door to the porch open a crack and the sounds of the party behind. Finally, he thinks with a smile and a sigh, gaze landing on the brunette leaning against the railing. The past fifteen minutes he'd been weaving through his brother's crowded house looking for Cait, getting pulled into small talk about the new year and the football team's upcoming game when all he really wanted was to find her.
"There you are," he says, approaching as she turns to him, her lips curving into a smile.
"Hi." She rubs the arms of her jacket, breath coming out in a puff of white smoke. "Is it almost midnight?"
He nods. "A few minutes. You okay? Becky and I were wondering where you went."
She waves a hand. "I'm fine, yeah. Just needed some air. We should go in if you want to see the ball drop."
He shrugs and meets her at the railing. "I kind of needed some air myself, actually. I, uh… think Becky's about to have her first kiss."
Caitie's eyes widen. "Really? With Junior?"
Danny nods. "He's a good kid. But if I don't stay out here," he laughs, "I'll find some way inside to stop it from happening, probably end up embarrassing Becky and making an idiot out of myself."
She gives him one of those soft smiles that always make him feel like he's just said exactly the right thing. "You're a great dad, Danny." She lets out a short laugh, looking away. "I know I say that a lot, but it's true."
And yet the compliment never fails to give him a surge of confidence and a flushed face. "Well, I know how important this is. She'll remember it for the rest of her life, and I'd rather it be a positive memory than one I have to beg for forgiveness over."
"Do you remember yours?"
"Hmm? Oh—" He laughs, nodding as he realizes what she means. "I was in third grade. A few of the girls were playing truth or dare, and one of 'em got dared to come over and kiss me. It wasn't great for my self-esteem, I can tell you that much. What about you?"
"It…" She shakes her head. "Yeah. I mean, it happened two months ago, so..." At his look of confusion, she continues, "It was just one of the guys who picked me up when I was hitching—a few days before I ended up here, actually. Some truck driver. He sort of… Well, he really just leaned over, grabbed me by the face, and slobbered all over me for a few seconds before I managed to push him off and get out of there." She laughs, shrugging, smile faltering when she notices he can't force himself to find anything amusing in the story.
"Were you alright?"
The genuine concern sends a pang of longing through her. What must it be like to have a man like Danny always by your side, with so much care in every action, so much tenderness in his words and in his eyes? She can imagine no safer feeling, and absolutely nothing she'd ever wanted more.
"I was fine," is all she can manage to say, too distracted by his proximity and the realization that they're talking about kisses. Her first one was something she'd been dreaming of her whole life, and now it'd been taken away by someone who thought she owed him it for helping her get from one state to the next.
These days when she thought of kisses, it was only Danny who came to mind. Daydreams of sleepy kisses in the morning, quick afternoon pecks while cooking dinner. Celebratory smooches after Becky's team won a game, and long, slow kisses once they were alone in the night. She tries so hard not to think about things like that, tries not to make being around him so difficult for herself. But every day she falls deeper in love with the man before her, and the daydreams come whether she wants them to or not.
Danny shakes his head. God, he hates thinking about what she went through on the road. He'll never let her back out there—maybe it's a pigheaded way of thinking, but he can't help it. If she still wants to go to Montana, he'll take her there, but he won't let her put herself in that kind of danger again.
Not as long as he can help it, anyway, he thinks with a painful stab to the heart. If she leaves, there's no way to look out for her. No way to know she's alright.
He wants her to stay so badly… the possibility of her leaving constantly looms overhead, hurts him so much he's not sure how he'd ever handle the real thing. The idea of a future with her won't leave him alone. What would she think if she knew how much he wants her? How he can picture rings, a wedding… waking up to her every morning. Building a life where Becky has a mother who loves her and he has a wife to come home to every day. A family of three instead of two.
She's already said she likes Urbania. That Montana was just a dart on a map. That the two of them make a good team. But could she ever see him the way he sees her? Beautiful, comforting… a person who feels like home and the drop of a roller-coaster all at the same time.
"That's hardly a fair way to have a first kiss," he replies, voice gentle, though it's hard to hide the hatred for the man he'll never know. "It doesn't count."
She lets out a short, humorless laugh. "It may as well." Behind them, the sounds of the ten second countdown travel outside through the cracked door. "It's probably the only one I'm ever going to get."
Seven, six…
He doesn't understand how she can be so insecure, so unaware of the beauty that floors him every day. It isn't fair for her to think that way, isn't right for her to live thinking the only man who'd want to kiss her was some asshole who thought he earned it.
Five, four…
He inches closer, gaze traversing over her face, and her heart skips a beat. She thinks she imagined it at first—then he steps forward again and she knows she didn't. Her breath catches.
Three, two…
Slowly, giving her all the time in the world to back away, he reaches a hand up to cup her face. His hand feels so warm against her cheek, skin rough and calloused from work, yet his touch is so gentle.
One…
He angles up, slightly onto his toes, close enough to brush noses. When his thumb strokes her cheek her eyes flutter shut, lips parting ever so slightly.
Happy new year!
He closes the gap with a sigh, just barely pressing his lips against hers, the ghost of a touch. As cheers incite from inside the house he steps a little closer, kisses just a little firmer. It's innocent, polite even, a kiss that could easily be brushed off as nothing more than friendly. And yet it has his heart pounding, has her blood running hot.
This is the way her first kiss should be, he thinks. Gentle. Slow. Just as delicate and precious as she is.
It's everything she dreamed of, has her stomach flipping, butterflies swarming inside her, fists balling at her sides so she doesn't reach out and lace her fingers in his hair or grab a fistful of his sweater.
He forces himself to pull back, to not get carried away, to not take it somewhere he can't come back from.
It takes a second for her to open her eyes, dark brown meeting dark blue, a second of silence passing between them, the sounds of the party long forgotten.
A firework boom in the distance makes her gasp, both flinching away, heads turning just in time to see the gold sparks go off in the distance, quickly followed by blue and green. Then the French doors squeak open and draw their attention back to the house, where a few members of the football team come bounding out, raving about the fireworks they're sure they just heard.
As more guests pour out of the house the porch changes from a bubble of solitude into a crowded extension of the party, surrounding the pair with loud laughter and clinking glasses, music seeping out from the open doors.
There's no time to talk about it, no time to let it sink in and wonder what it means. Each thinks it was just a friendly kiss to the other, and each wishes it was so much more.
"Happy New Year," Danny says to her with a soft smile, just barely loud enough to be heard over the oohs and ahhs of the crowd as they watch the fireworks.
"Happy New Year," she returns breathlessly, wondering if he knows he just made it the best night of her life.

WIP Game
Thanks for the tag, @passionatewrites! These games always read me for filth but I love them. 😂 If nothing else, it proves that every time I make a post or ramble in tags and my author's notes about "having a wip that..." I'm not full of shit and the wip actually does exist 😂💯
Rules: share your unpublished WIPs. No updates to ongoing fics, just new shenanigans :)
I'm doing multichaps and only a couple of my one-shots because if I did all of my one-shots this post would be way too fucking long lmao
Please feel free to send me asks about any of these! Snippets, questions, lore, whatever you want! I'm always more than happy to talk wips!
Multichaps:
They Were Roommates (Nestor x OFC, Angel x OFC): Based off a request that someone sent in literal years ago at this point but I've been trying to pull it all together ever since. Nestor starts seeing a girl who is new to town, but what he doesn't know is that her roommate is dating one of the people he dislikes most in the world: Angel Reyes
Untitled Gilly/Tasha Fic (Gilly x OFC): When life with her family in Northern Cali starts to fray at the seams and get messier than she can handle, Tasha packs a bag, gets in her car, and drives to the one person she knows will take her in no matter what: her Uncle Bishop. What was just supposed to be a couple weeks-stay to cool off suddenly becomes much more complex when she meets the men from the MC.
Bloodline OBX Crossover (Gen Fic): After finally managing to get back to the mainland from Poguelandia, JJ brings all of his friends to the only person that he has left anymore, and truly he doesn't even know if the man is still going to know who he is. Lucky for JJ and the Pogues, Danny Rayburn never forgets anyone.
Bad Ideas (Canche x OFC): Bad blood between charters and the aftermath of the shoot-out at the clubhouse means hell for the MC> None of that is really on Lia Reyes's radar when she stops by to check in on her brothers who have gone radio silent. In the midst of all the drama, the last thing she expects is to strike something up with the one person that her brother can't stand, and who can't stand her brothers. It all becomes a waiting game to see how long it takes for her last name to come into play.
Untitled The Bear Fic (Marcus x OFC, Carmy & OFC): Carmy finally broke down and started going to Al-Anon meetings, not expecting to actually get anything out of them, certainly not expecting to make his approximation of a friend. Lucky for him, Ray hasn't ever stopped herself on someone else's account. When bad luck and family troubles bring her to The Beef, she finds Carmy and a whole lot more.
Your Mess (Nacho x F!Reader): Being new to town meant that you had no idea what you were really getting yourself into when you met Nacho and extended an invitation to him. He knew, though. It wasn't long until you both realized why you should've taken the first 'no' he gave you and ran.
For Everything (Happy Lowman x OFC): Everything about the Teller family spells out bad luck, but it doesn't stop Happy from falling into bed with one of them. However, before the curse of the Teller family can catch up to them, ghosts from Happy's past rear their ugly heads first.
Brick by Brick (Opie x OFC): In the aftermath of getting out of prison and finding that his entire family had taken off while he was still behind bars, Opie tries to put the pieces of his life back together again. Despite his better judgment, he allows someone close to help with it all.
There and Back (Nestor x Erin): They only got along because proximity didn't allow otherwise when they were teenagers, but as time went on and everything in life got more complicated, their feelings did too. Both of them promised not to be the type to fall hard and fast, but Erin was the only one who kept her word no matter how many years went by.
Coming to Terms (Rafe x OFC): Despite all the fight that he put up about it, Rafe finds himself drying out and thrown into more therapy sessions than he can keep track of in some rehab center on the mainland. He was determined to fake and lie his way out until he met someone who frustratingly calls him on his shit at every possible turn.
Boxing AU (EZ x OFC): Fresh out of prison and looking for something extra to keep him from going back inside, EZ finds himself walking through the doors of one of the most old-school boxing gyms in Santo Padre. He's expecting a ring, some sparring, a coach who gives him more grief than necessary. What he doesn't expect is the woman who meets him at the door and flips his entire world upside-down.
Against All Odds (Juice x OFC): Juice knows better than to think that getting involved with Jax's younger sister is a good idea. He knows it's not. But as time goes on and tensions start to thicken, it's not enough to stop him. What he wasn't ready for, though, was realizing that their relationship was the least of their problems.
Pieces Into Place (EZ x OFC): College AU. From Stanford all the way to Harvard, EZ has been one-track minded. Always focusing on school and the next step beyond it. When someone comes in and pulls his focus from that, it's a breath of fresh air, at first. But the familiarity of it comes at a cost that EZ isn't ready to pay, and has him putting up walls before he can stop himself.
Tragic (Angel x OFC): EZ going to prison caught everyone off-guard Nothing made sense to Angel, or their childhood best friend. Both of them lost with no one else to turn to, they turn to each other in an attempt to figure it all out.
Figuring It Out (Happy & OFC): Happy showed up to the tattoo shop looking for one particular person to give him one particular tattoo. When that person wasn't there, though, he settled for the young woman who was at the shop. One smiley face later Happy realized he had no say in the matter of having her in his life from then on out.
From The Start (Opie x OFC): Falling for his best friend's little sister hadn't been part of the gameplan, but it was too late to go back on it now. The problem was, that for as good as it all sounded in his head, the reality of who he was dealing with was far harsher than Opie bargained for.
How We Got Here (Coco x OFC): Despite not knowing her his whole life, Coco couldn't remember a time before Daniela Reyes. Pain was what brought the two of them together, but it was also what drove the two of them apart. Coco clung desperately to everything that happened in between, hoping to mend those fences one panel at a time.
Untitled Juice Fic (Juice x OFC): Desperate to get out from under the thumb of the club for a night, Juice finds himself in a bar just outside of town, getting far drunker than he should. The bartender who could have and should have tossed him right out onto the street extended a little kindness instead, unknowingly creating an entire web of secrets for the two of them.
Love Triangle (Carrillo x Reader, Javi x Reader): You hadn't known Javi as long or as well as you'd known Carrillo. You certainly didn't expect that to change as things with you and Carrillo got more serious. However, as things start to disintegrate between you and the Colonel, you start to wonder if there's more to Javi offering you a shoulder to lean on.
Chaos at the Lakehouse (Gen SOA & OC's Fic): Years after everyone had grown up and moved away, the entire crew that had once called Charming its home base all decide to get together again. Everyone is grown with their own families now, and life looks different for everyone, but in a lot of ways they all pick up right where they left off.
One-Shots:
Beautiful Stranger (Bucky x Natasha): After losing Steve, and losing just about everything else, Bucky and Natasha both take off separately, desperate to start over in different corners of the world as people with a little less pain to carry around with them. However, after a lot of time and a lot of moves, they somehow end up on opposite sides of the same bar together and realize that maybe they just aren't supposed to be staying away from each other.
Lovers to Enemies (Carrillo x F!Reader): Things that seem to good to be true, usually are. If anyone was well-acquainted with that fact it was Carrillo. And yet, when you came traipsing into his life, he couldn't help but to hope that he was wrong. But. He wasn't.
Better Than That (Coco x F!Reader): In the aftermath of a messy breakup between you and Angel, you find yourself growing closer to one of the last people you expected.
Like I said before, if any of these make you go 👀 then feel more than free to send me an ask about it! I'm more than happy to gush about them all! 💖
Tagging (no pressure as per usual): @garbinge @bullet-prooflove @spaghettificationandpretzels @artemiseamoon @darqchilddaydreamz and anyone else who wants to gush about their wips! (or hold themselves accountable like yours truly lmao)

Sportsmail’s experts pick their award winners for this amazing season
It's been an amazing Premier League season, with the title race between Liverpool and Manchester City going down to the wire.
Records are broken, and we've also got four English teams in the two European finals, the first time any nation has achieved such a feat.
So, what did Sportsmail 's experts Danny Murphy and Jermaine Jenas think of the season? Read on to find out their picks for best player, best manager, and many more.
It has been an incredible Premier League title race between Manchester City and Liverpool
Best player
Murphy:
Virgil van Dijk
Not only have Virgil van Dijk's own displays been outstanding, has improved everyone around him in the Liverpool defense as well.
Jenas:
Raheem Sterling
Virgil van Dijk has been brilliant. But we knew that Liverpool had defensive issues. It was always going to be easier for him to stand out. For Sterling to do that in an already magnificent City attack shows just how phenomenal he is.
It's coming down to City's Raheem Sterling and Liverpool's Virgil van Dijk for player of the year
Best manager
Murphy:
Jurgen Klopp
You could make a case for Jurgen Klopp, Pep Guardiola or Mauricio Pochettino if he wins the Champions League. But for Klopp to mount a title challenge and get to a European final is amazing.
Jenas:
Pep Guardiola
A close call between Guardiola and Klopp. But the consistency shown by City to Claw back that gap to Liverpool at the turn of the year has been relentless. They've beaten Spurs, United, Burnley and Leicester. Such pristine football.
There is no doubting that Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola have the best managers
Best match
Murphy:
Man City 2 Liverpool 1
In the Premier League, it's Manchester City's 2-1 win against Liverpool at the Etihad. The quality allied to the intensity made it a brilliant watch. The most astonishing moment or drama came in the Champions League when Spurs scored their winner against Ajax deep into injury-time.
Best goal
Murphy:
Vincent Kompany v Leicester
I loved Arsenal's team goal earlier in the season scored by Aaron Ramsey but in terms of brilliance and importance, the incredible strike by Vincent Kompany against Leicester on Monday night takes some beating.
Jenas:
Andros Townsend v Manchester City
I know Kompany's strike was probably the one that won the title but the goal of the season, for me, comes down to technique. Andros Townsend will never hit a ball like that again. The way it moves, the cleanness of the strike.
Will Vincent Kompany's stellar strike be the goal that grants Manchester City the title?
Best signing
Murphy:
Joao Moutinho
For £ 5million, Joao Moutinho at Wolves has been an outstanding piece of business. He is calm, experienced, left-up play, controls tempo and has helped younger team-mates such as Ruben Neves. He's so reliable and a major factor in Wolves' wonderful season.
Jenas:
James Maddison
He has been outstanding. He was a good player at Norwich but what we have seen from his first Premier League campaign – from his creativity, his free-kicks – he will kick on again at Leicester.
Greatest flops
Murphy:
Manchester United
It will make people laugh because of my Liverpool connections, but I have to go with Manchester United. It has been a disastrous season – they have completely failed to deliver. People can debate who is to blame but the bottom line is they are well below what's needed.
Jenas:
Manchester United
Everyone can see a poor season but the biggest failing for me was how they slipped back again after winning all those games under Solskjaer. How they have allowed it to get back to where it was before? Where's the heart? It feels like proof it was not all Jose Mourinho's fault.
Manchester United have had a woeful season, proof that perhaps it wasn't all Mourinho's fault
What made me angry
Murphy:
James Maddison and Patrick Bamford
Players trying to get others sent off makes me mad, whether it's simulation or waving imaginary cards at the referee. James Maddison, a great talent, didn't cover himself in glory getting Ainsley Maitland-Niles or Arsenal in bother. As for Patrick Bamford against Aston Villa, embarrassing.
Jenas:
Racism returning
Racism in the stands which has not been dealt with strongly enough. On an international level, they've got to start banning countries from competitions. The great thing Sterling has done, in questioning the media's role in the perception of black players, is to force everyone to have that conversation. That is a huge positive. The issue is outside of football. In the streets, in schools, in local communities, in homes. That's where you need to hit it head on.
What made me laugh
Murphy:
Very sorry Trent!
At my own expense. I spent 10 minutes on the radio referring to Liverpool's great young full-back as Alexander Trent-Arnold. Boy, I've had stick ever since. Nothing I've said has been picked up so fast. Sorry, Trent!
Jenas:
Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham's Champions League win of Man City
When Sterling scored what looked like a late winner for Man City, I had my eyes on Pochettino. He ripped off his jacket, his jumper, his tie. He couldn't take the layers off quickly enough only then to realize it wasn't all over!
Mauricio Pochettino had a wonderful reaction after beating Man City in the Champions League
Best home fans
Murphy:
Newcastle United
I like the way Newcastle United fans backed Rafa Benitez and the players during difficult times. I'm sure it was one of the reasons they were able to turn their home form around and survive quite comfortably.
Jenas:
Tottenham
It's hard not to go with Anfield and the support they bring to the table – but I have to take my hat off to Spurs fans. They kept being told they were getting their new stage and could have spent the season angry and annoyed. But now they are home, the atmosphere is incredible.
Surprise package
Murphy:
James Maddison
I didn't know a lot about James Maddison at Norwich last year but he's duties to the Premier League like a duck to water. Quick-thinking, intelligent on the ball, a genuine prospect. Just cut out the simulation!
Jenas:
Watford
Wolves have been impressive but Watford have been even more of a surprise. They are on a course for a top 10 finish and have reached the FA Cup final. Javi Gracia has done a superb job.
James Maddison has done an outstanding job playing for Leicester City this season
Must do better
Murphy:
Alexis Sanchez
What has happened to Alexis Sanchez. It is very strange. He's one of my favorite players but has been so disappointing at Manchester United. I think they should keep him, if he stays he will have a big point to prove.
Jenas:
Brighton
I worry a bit for Chris Hughton. The fans are getting restless with the style of play at the Amex. He's a pragmatist, but he's got to get that place lifted.
Watch out for
Murphy:
Morgan Gibbs-White (Wolves)
The England Under 19 international is versatile and has the vision to play in midfield or off center-forward Raul Jimenez. He's a real talent and Wolves manager Nuno Espirito Santo will give him more football time next year.
England U19 international Morgan Gibbs-White is definitely one to look out for next season
Jenas:
Leicester City
I was watching Leicester play against Man City and I kept thinking: "This team are better than United '. The front three of Marcus Rashford, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial is possibly better than Leicester's but look at the players in Leicester's defense and midfield: Ricardo Pereira, Harry Maguire, Ben Chilwell, Wilfred Ndidi, Maddison. The way Brendan Rodgers has them playing, you can see Leicester breaking into that top six.
