this was yesterday when we had a quick siomai/milk tea date sa sentro. pinilit ko talaga siya na magpunta kami ng sentro dahil sobrang crave na crave ako sa siomai dun sa binibilhan namin. last time kasi nung umuwi ako galing work, dun ako bumaba specifically para mag siomai, kaso wala. then after that, nag milk tea kami dun sa isang local shop dito at tumambay. bumili lang kami fried chicken pang ulam tapos umuwi na kami.

also nun ko lang din narealize na monthsary pala namin nung pinopost ko na 'tong picture na 'to sa IG. wala lang, ang bilis talaga ng panahon, akalain mo yun hindi ko na mabilang basta we've been together for almost 5 years na. never ko naimagine before talaga na magkakaroon ako ng long term relationship. i used to have m.u and fling flings lang kasi noon, at pinaka matagal ko na non ang 2 years na di ko rin inakalang aabot ng ganun katagal—kamahal mahal din naman pala ako. lol

sobrang thankful ko narin dito kay J kasi kahit ang lala ng toyo ko, never niya ako sinukuan. lagi niya akong iniintindi kahit minsan ako talaga yung mali. sobrang gentle niya rin, kahit hindi siya masyadong showy lalo pag may ibang tao, pero pag kami nalang naman, ramdam na ramdam ko naman how much he loves me [kahit ma-attitude ako haha]

nanuod rin kami kagabi nung movie nila Alessandra de Rossi at JM de Guzman—yung what if. in fairness ang ganda. i dunno sa iba, pero medyo nakarelate kasi ako. naiyak nga ko dun, especially sa part nung issue niya sa tatay, then J hugged me super tight. wala lang, feeling ko di man ako ganon kaswerte sa aruga ng tatay, atleast nanjan si J para ibigay yun ganong klase ng pag aalaga at pagmamahal na hinahanap ko. huehue.

I just really admire his love for me, alaka ko wala siyang pake sa mga sweet videos ng mga couple na sinisend ko lagi sakanya, pero huy, i know pinapanuod niya haha. may natututunan din siya—i love that even the simplest things that we argue about, e wiling siya pag usapan namin ng maayos, willing siya laging intindihin ako, kung anong pinanggagalingan ko lagi. kaya sometimes, gusto ko bumawi sa pamamagitan ng pag hihinay hinay ko sa gastos hahaha. charot, but seriously haha.

Frustrated, you shut your phone off before putting it back in your pocket. You glanced at Seungcheol and halatang kausap niya rin mga tropa niya based on how hard he was typing on his phone.

Seungcheol then looked back up to you, seeing the same exact expression on your face.

It was obvious right then and there that the both of you had no fucking idea what to do.

"So…" Cheol started. You hummed, fiddling with your jacket. All the while avoiding his eyes.

"May hinihintay ka bang kasama?" He asked, wholeheartedly hoping na wala kang kadate na kikitain ngayon.

You contemplated on how to answer his question. On one hand, you wanted to tell him the truth that you were just planning to meet up with your friends. On the other hand, you wanted to lie and say yes.

Hayst. Bitter ako pero di ako liar liar pants on fire.

"Yep," you nodded, "Yung mga kaibigan ko lang. Although base sa mga reply nila sa mga message ko, mukhang solo rider ako ngayon." You huffed, remembering how you basically rushed your plates para lang makasama ka sa gala niyo today.

"Wait, what do you mean?" Cheol furrowed his eyebrows, wondering and hoping na isang coincidence lang ang lahat ng 'to at hindi pinlano ng mga barkada ninyo.

That's when he noticed your matching outfits.

"Ay bwiset!" You immediately exclaimed, startled by the loudness of his voice. Looking at your reaction with your hands on your chest, Cheol almost laughed if he wasn't so distracted by his realization of both of your situations.

You outstretched your arms towards him signaling for him to calm down, "Bakit? Anong meron?"

Cheol closed his eyes and took a deep breath. You can hear him muttering something similar to a… countdown?

You stared at him and he stared back, waiting for everything to click in your mind.

You blinked, "huh?"

Cheol saw how your face lit up in realization only to look sad, and disappointed even, the next second. It was then his turn to be confused upon seeing your reaction.

You sighed looking down at your feet, "Sorry Cheol."

"Huh? Bakit ka naman nagsosorry?"

"Nadamay ka pa kasi sa kalokohan ng mga kaibigan ko."

Cheol still didn't fully understand why you were sorry. It isn't as if your friends are the only ones to blame when his own friends also left him there.

"I know na magiging issue lang 'to sa inyong dalawa ni Jane kaya okay lang kung magdecide kang umuwi na lang."

Cheol blinked once, twice, before responding, "Huh?"

"Ampotek lutang ka rin ba?"

"No no I meant bakit mo naman nasabi yun?"

"Lutang ka nga talaga." You sighed frustratedly. Alam mong di naman unusual ang sabog moments sa buhay ng mga college students pero 'di naman to the point na makakalimutan mong may kalovelife ka nga pala.

Cheol tried to explain but you were already walking away from him.

"Okay lang talaga Cheol kahit iwan mo na ako rito. Susulitin ko lang binayad ko sa entrance fee bago ako umuwi. Halos 500 pesos din yun 'no." You said nonchalantly. You tried your best to not let him see how your current situation affected you. That's why you kept on walking as fast as you could, facing away from him.

He chased after you all day, ride after ride, trying to explain what really happened. It was only when the both of you were situated on the very back of the Space Shuttle cart that Cheol was finally able to make you listen to what he had to say.

"Wait yn, let me explain muna bago ka magsalita ulit. Please." He begged.

Fuck. Wag kang ganyan Chie. Alam mong weakness ko yang pout mo.

"Fine. Sige, explain."

Cheol smiled brightly, finally feeling relieved that he got to explain his side. By this point, the ride had already started and was slowly creeping backwards and upwards, trying to build up its momentum.

"Okay so wala na talaga kami." You raised your eyebrows in shock and were already opening your mouth to react before being interrupted by him.

"Wait! Quiet ka muna!" He put his finger on your lips, effectively shushing you.

You feel your cheeks warm up upon feeling his finger on your lips but thankfully, he didn't seem to notice. He was too focused on whatever he was trying to say to see your wide eyes and nervous gulp.

"Matagal na kaming wala. I ended things with her nung narealize ko na hindi pala siya ang talagang sinisigaw ng puso ko. Ang poetic ampotek pero what I'm saying is true. 'Di talaga siya ang para sa akin kasi ikaw ang gusto ko, yn. Ikaw lang at wala nang iba." If your eyes could get even bigger, it probably did. You tried to reply to his confession but you didn't get a chance to with how he basically rapped his explanation to you.

"Apparently, tanga lang pala talaga ako sa nararamdaman ko kasi kahit pala si Jane napansin na niya rin yung feelings ko sa'yo way before ko marealize na may feelings pala ako sa'yo. Si Wonwoo nga halos ibalibag na ako sa sobrang inis niya dahil sa pagkamanhid ko sa sarili ko eh. In fact, I think siya nga ang may pakana ng lahat ng ito kasi siya lang naman ang may ganito kalaking braincell sa aming apat na magtotropa. Anyways, I just wanted to let you know na this wasn't your fault and I truly like you in a romantic way."

It was silent for a few seconds. Cheol was still holding your lips hostage with his finger. He then looked up before saying out loud, "I should probably say thank you sa tropa nating dalawa."

Cheol heard you mumble something incoherent, scrunching his eyebrows in confusion. You pointed at his finger on your lips which made him remove it immediately, his cheeks turning red as cherry upon realizing what he did (he then swore he will never tell you how he essentially engraved in his mind the feeling of your lips on his finger until the day he dies).

"Wait," Cheol said before you got any word out, "nakasakay ba tayo sa rollercoaster?"

Confused, you nodded yes.

"Fuck."

"Bakit?"

"May fear of heights ako."

Click.

Clack.

Silence.

The cart was then released.

You definitely will need to get your ears and hand checked after this ride.

Cheol was screaming—scratch that, screeching— while he held on to your hand for dear life all throughout the ride. It was so bad to the point na nagulat ka na lang na hindi pa nagsuka si Cheol pagkatayo na pagkatayo ninyo.

Kung mayroon pang ikapuputla ang mukha ni Cheol, it definitely did at the time. You even bought him his favorite ice cream para lang mahimasmasan siya.

You let him relax himself for a few minutes before getting his attention.

He looked up to you while eating his ice cream, "Hmm? Bakit?"

You giggled at how cute he looked right now before replying, "I like you too Chie."

Ampotek nabilaukan pa nga siya. Nasaan na ba yung tubig?????
