Friendly reminder that mangaka said that Thistle would judge other dungeon lords for their incompetence, if he knew how much they relied on the demon. Because this insane little bastard refused most of the help from the omnipotent being that was literally there to fulfil his wishes, because this weird lion thing is suspicious and can go fuck itself, and instead proceeded to personally build an entire ecosystem all by himself.

No one does it like Thistle.

(He used to be sooo cute before the dungeon drove him mad... I like him better now, though.)

7. What's something you feel is uncommon that you do with/for/about/etc your F/O(s)?

Headcanoning ALL OF THEM as bottoms-

I feel like not wanting to marry and/or live with your f/o is somewhat uncommon. But it's just that, for me, things like marriage and domestic life together is a major turn off – it kills all romantic atmosphere.

I don't like the idea of marriage. Perhaps because of the unpleasant association with how it usually goes in our society, but also... It just feels as if my partner is doubting my devotion, if they go as far as to try to bind us legally. I think that... If there's nothing technically tying you together, and you can leave at any moment, but you still choose to stay... It means much more.

I guess I also dread that the realtionship can turn from something exciting into a routine, significantly lowering the fun?

Additionally, most of my f/os are very protective of their personal life and probably wouldn't want to bring their relationship to the centre of attention, so the thought of the wedding would clearly provoke some discomfort. The same goes for me.

That is to say, some of my ships might still get married. But they would obviously have their own individual reasons why they decided that this arrangement would be more beneficial.

THE VENTURE BROS. + POKÉMON AU (Part 1?)

I’ve seen fellow fans of both series portray the Venture Bros characters as Pokémon before, so I wanted to start proposing my own ideas of which ones they would be! :]

I, uh...went off the rails with this a bit. Whoops!

(SUPER LONG POST AHEAD WITH MY AU’S RULES AND THE POKÉMON CHOSEN FOR EACH CHARACTER + THE REASONING BEHIND MY CHOICES, ALONG WITH SOME MAJOR SPOILERS FOR THE ENTIRE SERIES)

For starters, I wanted to say that the “Egg Group” compatibility thing doesn’t apply in this universe just for the sake of making canon “pair-ups” less of a headache, the resulting offspring from two Pokémon doesn’t always come from eggs (ex. “mammalian” Pokémon have live births instead), and the offspring has the chance of being either of the parenting species as opposed to solely being the “mother” Pokémon’s species.

HOWEVER! In addition to this, while there is an extremely high chance that the offspring will be the same species as one of the parents, as long as a certain Pokémon is somewhere in the direct ancestry of the baby, there is a non-zero chance that the baby could also be that Pokémon! (ex: a Roserade and Glalie could possibly have a Snubbull baby if the Roserade had a Granbull parent/grandparent, a Dedenne baby could be born if the Glalie had a Dedenne parent/grandparent, etc etc etc)

Also, in this AU, a shiny Pokémon has a 50% chance of passing their shiny gene onto their offspring. Why? Because it’s fun! Also, the Venture family defo has some shiny genes introduced into it starting with Rusty’s mom cause I think it just adds to that sweet sweet ✨Main Character Energy Complex✨ Rust’s got going on.

Without further ado, here’s the beginning of my take on a VBros Pokémon AU, brought to you by a Pokémon fan of 15 years! (/silly)

We will be kicking this off with, you guessed it—

The Venture Family! ✌️💥

Rusty Venture — Kantonian Raichu ✨

ABILITY: Lightning Rod

Rusty was a popular and beloved boy adventurer that was basically THE mascot for boy adventurers, much like how Pikachu is the popular and beloved mascot of Pokémon. He got the nickname “Rusty” in this AU due to being born as a shiny Pikachu, which are orange/ginger/rust-hued in color. Also, Rusty being a Raichu is a direct parallel between the way many Pokémon trainers prefer Pikachu over Raichu and the way a lot of people prefer Rusty’s former boy adventurer self as opposed to who he is now.

(BONUS NOTE: Rusty wasn’t born as a Pichu because he is the result of an interspecies union between Jonas Sr, an Arcanine; and a female Raichu whose identity remains a mystery to this day.)

Brock Samson — Kommo-O

ABILITY: Bulletproof

A big bulky powerhouse that’s physically imposing, a skilled fighter with a diverse moveset, a very valiant guardian of the younglings within its “family”, basically has a mullet, and also has- ahem- scaly armor that’s the equivalent of METAL PLATING? That is literally Brock F—kin’ Samson in Pokémon form! Try telling me that I’m wrong!

(BONUS NOTE: Kommo-O is able to scare off weaker opponents by simply clanging together its scales to make harsh noises. You know who else can scare off cowardly foes that are out of their depth with a single sound/word? That’s right- BROCK SAMSON!! And yes, I intentionally included him in this first “Venture Family” section because he helped raise Hank and Dean.)

Hank Venture — Unovan Zorua ✨

ABILITY: Illusion

Seeing as how Zorua is prone to mischief, has a tendency to put on disguises, and takes on different personas, I thought it would be fitting for Hank to be this little master of illusions. There is one significant way Hank vastly differs from his Pokémon form, which is that he is stupidly brave in contrast to the mostly timid Zorua. Anywho, I wanted to play around with the fact that he and Dean are fraternal twins, along with the fact that he bears a very strong resemblance to his egg donor/biological mother and her side of the family. That’s right- his and Dean’s mama is a Zoroark! But which kind? Well…that’s something you’ll find out later, dear reader. ;P

(NOTE: Hank is a shiny Zorua not only because I wanted a way to reflect the blue in his canon color palette, but because I wanted to show his similarities to Rusty. Hank being shiny was an unintended side effect of being the “test tube baby” of two shiny Pokémon…that’s right, TWO shiny Pokémon! Wowie zowie!)

Dean Venture — Pikachu

ABILITY: Static

Dean bears a very strong resemblance to Rusty so, naturally, I thought he’d be a Pikachu himself. However, I like to think he’d greatly differ from him by eventually becoming an Alolan Raichu on his own terms- that is, if he even chooses to evolve. This is a nod to Rusty being forced to grow up too fast and not really able to forge a life for himself, whereas Dean does have more of that freedom for himself despite Rusty really, really wanting him to pursue science as a career. Also, Dean is a lot more in touch with his emotions (which many Psychic-type Pokémon tend to have a natural “affinity” for) and I thought him becoming an Alolan Raichu would be a fun callback to the gravity boots that he enjoyed wearing in the earlier seasons of VBros.

(NOTE: Unlike Rusty, Dean WAS born a Pichu despite also having hybrid parentage. This was an unintentional side effect of him being a “test tube baby”. Ultimately, it represents him being given a slightly more normal childhood than Rusty was and places more emphasis on the importance of his connection with Hank. This is due to the fact that Pichu evolves into Pikachu via heightened friendship, meaning that Dean evolved as a direct result of his familial bond with Hank.)

H.E.L.P.eR. — Porygon-Z

ABILITY: Download

A cute little robotic guy that’s artificially made, has sentience, and was banned from the public in some way due to widespread issues that weren’t necessarily his fault, but rather an oversight on the creators’ end? Definitely sounds like H.E.L.P.eR. to me!

(NOTE: I like to think that Porygon!H.E.L.P.eR. evolved as time went by as a reference to his canon counterpart’s technology being repaired and updated over the years. Also, his color palette in the Pokémon universe matches the one he has in the canon VBros universe! So he’s not exactly shiny, but you could consider him shiny-adjacent.)

Jonas Venture Sr. — Arcanine

ABILITY: Justified

I just want to preface this by saying that I am deeply and sincerely sorry for comparing the majestic, ever-lovely Arcanine to this nasty vile heinous atrocious man. The only reason I believe Jonas Sr. would be an Arcanine is strictly due to how the general public perceived him— fiercely brave, doggedly loyal, and a powerhouse in both the realm of super science and in fights. Comparing them on a more general level, both Jonas Sr. and Arcanine are strongly built, beloved by the general public, have “attractive” physical appearances (albeit in different ways), and are well-known for their love of travelling around the globe.

(NOTE: I wanted Jonas to be a well-known Pokémon that had orange/ginger fur, towered over Raichu, and could realistically parent a Pikachu…so Arcanine it was! Plus, Jonas Sr. being a charming and lovable and innately “heroic” Pokémon such as Arcanine provides a fun way of representing the way his lovable public image did wonders to conceal his cruel and manipulative true personality.)

Jonas Venture Jr. — Growlithe

ABILITY: Flash Fire

JJ bore a very strong resemblance to his dad, but is a lot smaller— much like how Growlithe looks like a smaller version of Arcanine but has its own distinctive traits that set it apart! Also, Growlithe is a very friendly Pokémon that is adored by many, which is fitting for a sweet little fella who is beloved by the general public. Basically, JJ’s naturally warm and genuine demeanor was everything his father pretended to be in the eyes of the public.

(NOTE: JJ would’ve chosen to evolve into an Arcanine but, in a rare and unprecedented turn of events, his severely underdeveloped physiology made his body entirely incompatible with Fire Stones.)

Dermott Fictel — Luxio ✨

ABILITY: Rivalry

I know what you might be thinking— “Another shiny Rusty kid?! Are you serious, Cy?!” Yes. Yes I am. I already gave ya my shiny statistics for this AU at the start of this post, ya dingus! (/silly) (/j) Also…come on! You can’t tell me Dermott doesn’t have that Shiny Luxio energy! Just look at the two side by side! Edgy teen appearance, same flippy hair ends…plus, Dermott being shiny is just one more thing that foreshadows the identity of his father aside from them both being Electric-type Pokémon.

(NOTE: Dermott’s unknown grandfather was a Luxray, which is how he ended up being born a Shinx as opposed to one of his biological parents’ species.)

The Blue Morpho — The Marine Vivillon

ABILITY: Justified

I know, I know— GASP! Don Fitzcarraldo isn’t actually a Pokémon that resembles a member of the Lepidoptera family?! Have I gone mad?! Well…no! I have LORE! You see, since Don based his “Blue Morpho” identity on a butterfly, I thought it would be neat if his Pokémon counterpart did the same thing as opposed to actually being a butterfly! I chose Vivillon as the Pokémon he bases his vigilante persona on because it’s a butterfly and, also, I love how it just so happens to have “villain” in it unintentionally since that’s what Blue Morpho was viewed as by a lot of folks.

In particular, he’d his persona specifically around Marine Form Vivillon due to its blue color palette. As for why I chose Cobalion for Don in general…well, it is the “Iron Will” Pokémon, and Don had to have an iron will in order to put up with Jonas Sr’s shit for so long. In addition to this, Cobalion has a blue color scheme and has always had a very “heroic” air about it, much like the Blue Morpho himself. Plus, I wanted him to be a particularly powerful Pokémon that, despite all its strengths, had a type disadvantage to Jonas Sr. as a way of showing the weakness Don had against him. Plus, The Blue Morpho was a legend amongst people in his day, which ties to Cobalion’s status as a legendary Pokémon. Heavy on the symbolism with this fella.

Unfortunately, we all know that poor Don meets his end due to a plane crash. This is the catalyst for Jonas Sr. turning him into…

Venturion/Vendata — Iron Crown

Oh man. You ever come up with an idea so twisted that you love it? Yeah. This is how I feel about my decision to make Don a Cobalion. Trust me when I say that the choices I made were absolutely intended with this goal in mind. Jonas Sr. being the first person to “invent” a Future Paradox Pokémon seemed pretty on brand to me. Resurrecting your “friend” by making them an unholy amalgamation of servos and sinew that’s a husk of who they once were?

Hooouuu Jonas, you are one sick puppy! (Pun fully intended, btw.)

I knew I had to do something with Paradox Pokémon and this AU, and Don’s arc made him the perfect candidate for it. And, stay with me here— Iron Crown’s Pokédex entry for Violet literally describes it as “a cutting-edge weapon shaped like a Cobalion”. Is Venturion/Vendata not a cutting-edge weapon shaped like Don Fitzcarraldo?

I rest my case.

They're just so hot! And they seem to work well together and be good influences on each other... Would Sorella ever consider being in a poly relationship long-term? Or was her time in Komorebi more of an experiment/one-time thing?

I saw you say in the tags that the pose of Tayuka, Envy, and Sorella in the shower was part of a WW animation you made. It looked so good!!! I didn't know you had ever actually learned how to make WW animations, though I remember seeing you talking about it in the past. Did you also make the poses/animation of their first hookup?

I just absolutely adore the way you make your spicy/sexy poses. They really are a perfect balance of sweet/loving while still being extremely hot. 🥵 Not enough spicy poses manage both.

At this stage I can neither confirm or deny that the Throuple (TM) becomes canon, but just know. I really REALLY like them too. Sorella currently isn't considering a poly relationship long term. She's only just come to terms with the fact she isn't straight like she thought, but she might have more to figure out. All I'll say is it's not entirely off the table :3

For WW animations!!! AAH!! So the throuple pushed me to follow through on finally learning to make a ww animation file. I already sorta knew how to animate, I'm just rusty at it so for now any animations I make will stay as static screenshots lol! BUT TY!!! I'm really happy with how my first attempt turned out.

When I was taking screenshots for them in bed I was somewhat disappointed by the animations I already had. They just didn't work for these 3. (A lot of M/F/F animations one person is acting jealous which is annoying to me.) The shower sequence is the only animation I made, but I did make several of the poses from the pillowfort post. The sequence where Takuya is encouraging Sorella to finish are all poses I made ages ago lol.

And TY!! I feel like my spicy poses are where I shine :D Partly it's just fun for me to put my sims into blender and kiss 😏

FINALLY getting around to answer this because I really had to stew on it for quite a while.

😳 Instead of swapping f/o's, what would happen if your s/i's got together instead? If this happens, do your f/o's get with each other as well?

The reason I asked this myself is because. Honestly I think Altis and Minthe would be absolutely insane together. I think that the two of them have a good push-and-pull with Minthe's general joie de vivre with Altis' sulking about how their life is over (they hate when someone calls it 'sulking' but it's. sulking). Altis also enjoys resting and chilling out, so when Minthe burns themself out after finishing a piece. They're both fun-loving and enjoy getting into trouble while trying to not get caught, so when they both happen to be in a good mood it's kind of a nightmare for everyone around them.

In the end, however, I don't think that the relationship would be as fulfilling as it would be with their original partners. Neither of them hold the other back from their impulses, and it would absolutely cause SOME sort of emotional spiral (not that I don't want to see that happen lmao. I do love when this happens). Those two would be best as the pair who would occasionally meet up to put up a mural where they shouldn't be. Now... Orph and Poly would be surprisingly amicable with each other. Not anything even close to resembling a romance, but I think there would be a level of unspoken repsect between the two of them. I mean, they are both musicians (or at least, I headcanon Poly to be one lmao) and both ended up being tricked in an underhanded way. I don't think Orph could overlook the "eating people" aspect of him though.

⏳ How does your in-source canon change compared to how it works for your true ship?

THIS ONE'S FUNNY because I am just gonna assume that Orph's canon remains intact, which means Altis is some kind of shade. I imagine they ended up having an unfortunate accident during a heist, dying in an embarrassing way but playing it up in the afterlife. And they're kind of disappointed to see that their "curse" chased after them in the afterlife, too. Not even death could free them from that.

Altis would be listless as a shade since their whole character revolves around risking their life for the sake of it, so I think that they'd just resort to pushing their luck with the others in the House of Hades. In this case, I think they see Orpheus as an easy target, as sad as that sounds. They'd get a kick out of getting him to believe the most outrageous rumors. Though as the two get closer, I think they'd end up feeling kinda guilty about it. They end up looking up to him as a musician.

🪞 What are your swap partner's opinions about you? What about your true f/o's thoughts towards their own swap partner?

Because of Altis' teasing, Orph thinks that they are a kind, knowledgeable, witty satyr. In fact, they're the kindest satyr he's ever met. I don't think Altis would want to jeopardize their relationship with him by telling him the truth about themself.

Minthe and Poly though... Poly's an art appreciator, despite not enjoying much leisure time, but the visual arts are a different matter to him, considering his condition. Still, I think he would respect them for their work ethic, even if he cannot fully enjoy the fruits of their labor. He definitely respects them more than he does Altis.

💭 What are some personal headcanons that you have for your swap partner? (eg. likes/dislikes, habits, personality quirks, etc.) How closely do these align with the headcanons made by their own true partner?

Orpheus has soo many nervous tics- mostly using his hands to fiddle with whatever's near: his hair, the strings of his instruments, the hem of his clothes, whatever he has around his neck. To the uninitiated, he's not all that expressive, but if you open your ears to his music and watch how he holds himself, he's actually pretty easy to read, and he doesn't even realize it. Also, Orph doesn't exactly know how to get Zag to learn anything when it comes to music. When he teaches, he sort of puts the cart before the horse, and also finds it difficult to keep Zag's attention (not from a lack of trying on Zag's part, he's a clever man, he's just not artistically inclined in the same way Orph is and Orph can't exactly put that into words).

hi gang welcome to my concept ramble 😭 this will mostly consist of information about who the star strikers are, what we do, some lore, etc. not much today!!

what are the star strikers?

the star strikers are a full unit of heroes split into 2 subunits with 4 people each: stellium axis and soul retribution. together, we're star strikers: stellium retribution. we were created from the goddess of the stars, asteria. she created 2 comets to send to earth after she was captured by her evil sister, umbra. she sent these 2 comets filled with crystals to transform us into star strikers with aldrin, her brother, and obscuura, umbra's oldest child who betrayed her evil hand, to earth. aldrin and obscuura found a magical agency called astronomical agents of the universe (AAOTU for short) and convinced the ceo, alejandro, to help find 8 heroes who'd help rescue asteria.

who are the star strikers?

star strikers are split into two categories: organic and artificial. organic star strikers are what i and my primary teammates are: we transform with the help of asteria's crystal. artificial star strikers are created by AAOTU with the help of the coding in our transformation devices. they don't have the help of asteria.

then, we're split into subunits. star strikers is the unit, then the categories, then the teams we're in are subunits of those categories. my teammates, organic star strikers, are split into stellium axis and soul retribution. together we make stellium retribution. i'm in stellium axis.

underneath the artificial unit, we have mono//scale and crystal of consciousness, as well as a solo star striker ((who's actually my f/o but i'll get into that later)). artificial unit may grow as we're almost always recruiting those with magical potential or background to help save asteria.

stellium axis

stellium axis is the first organic star strikers unit formed. we're based off of something called a stellium axis, a group of birthmarks creating a constellation. this phenomenon is said to give a magical fate to the holder.

atlas enriquez-evergreen (19, he/him) -> our leader and braincell #1. he's the son of alejandro enriquez, the ceo of AAOTU. he was destined for great things, like being an asshole and being our team leader. he's pretty monotone in his voice and reactions, not easily reactant to surprises or revelations. his stellium axis is delphinius, located on his right arm. his rep animal is a bottlenose dolphin, his theme color is teal, and he transforms into star striker apollo, the luster of intellegence!

bryan heo (16, he/they/any) -> also known as shitlord bryan, this is the guy who believes he has a spiritual connection to jiwon from cherry bullet. he's our battery- always energized and ready to push the group into chaos. he can get a little too excited sometimes, but that's not to say they're an absolute sweetheart. he makes fnf mods in his spare time (and honestly they're kinda MID!!!!) his stellium axis is bufo, located on his left shoulder. his rep animal is a frog, their theme color is green, and they transform into star striker beatrix, the radiance of kindness!

georgialaxy stellaris (16, any prns) -> hey guys it's ME!!! the one who has like 5000 names!!! anyways, if you want to read more about me, check out my mp staff intro! but to put it short, uhh i like kpop, i don't take shit from anyone, i did ur mom last night, and i'm the only physically disabled member of organic star strikers (fun fact)! my stellium axis is cassiopeia, located on my right cheek. my rep animal is a sand cat, my theme color is pink, and i transform into star striker cosmotique, the spark of creativity!

ian gresill (19, he/she) -> plot twist: this bigender fellow is actually obscuura! entire lore about aldrin turning obscuura into a human (ian) to hide from his evil mom but we can always talk about that later. ian holds braincell #2 of stellium axis, and is totally very gay for atlas. she's also our free personal stylist. also our peacemaker and bryan's safety net. his stellium axis is leo, located on his chest. his rep animal is a ladybug, his theme color is red, and he transforms into star striker erebus, the courier of strength!

soul retribution

soul retribution is the second organic subunit of star strikers. the cool thing about these guys are they're all from undertale games (or are just ocs i grabbed from my friends who i think would be cool to manifest). they each have representative soul traits.

clover baum (16, they/he) -> CLOVER FROM UNDERTALE YELLOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE??!?!? anyways uh clover's the youngest organic star striker, right behind bryan! they're a strong wielder of justice, and is morally grey, using their emotions to cast judgement among those who've done wrong. they have immense good luck. they represent the soul of justice. their representative animal is a dog, their theme color is yellow, and they transform into star striker calypso, the enforcer of justice!

axel moore (20, he/him) -> axel's one of my friends's bravery ocs that i kind of consider canon (so sorry undertale orange creators). he has two ideal careers: boxer and... fisherman??? that's right- his dad's a pretty well known fisherman so he learned a tip or two from the fishing hobbyist himself. he's the energizer of SR, also regarded as bryan's older brother. he also has balls of steel being the bravery soul. his representative animal is a tiger, his theme color is orange, and he transforms into star striker perseus, the envoy of bravery!

mel quinn (20, she/her) -> mel from kindred spirits!! dating ray, she's the mother of the group, and an experienced ballerina who had to formerly abandon her hometown due to Capitalism and Joe Biden. she loves everyone and is hard to dislike. she treats everyone with respect and even if you don't like her, she is still filled with integrity throughout. her representative animal is a swan, her theme color is blue, and she transforms into star striker nebulae, the envelop of integrity!

ray martin (22, he/him) -> ray's one of my friends's perseverance ocs that i also consider canon (so sorry batty). dating mel, ray's the father of the group and.. to everyone else, he is a jerk. it's a mystery to anyone but us as to how he became a star striker. ray has a superiority complex and is unable to humble himself easily as he's acted like this since escaping the womb obby. despite often downgrading everyone, it's a secret as to how ray truly feels about himself. he's known to persevere throughout even the toughtest struggles. his representative animal is an owl, his theme color is purple, and he transforms into star striker xenon, the essense of perseverance!

protect AX1S, a plane of existence between reality and dreaming that houses pixii, creatures bonded to human SOULs (everyone has one, including those outside of soul retribution) but was locked away after umbra captured asteria.

protect everyones hopes and dreams of COURSE what are we the star standers?????!?!?!

🎧: What’s a song that reminds you of your F/O? - I have a couple of these for Clio! For example, a fair few SOLARIA originals make me think of her, because “SOLARIA with extra gender parameter and a Southern English accent” is in fact my voiceclaim for Clio (and yes it makes for a fun bit of “selfshipping twice at the same time”, given that SOLARIA is also one of my F/Os haha). Examples include Dawn by Circus, especially for the section that starts with “Caught in an avalanche”, and also At Your Word by NEOKIN, though ironically the lyrics of that one make it seem more like something Aria might be singing instead. So I suppose it reminds me of the whole selfship!

💕: Who confessed first? - This depends on which of my selfships with Clio you’re on about! In KHUX’s context (so, arilio), it’s Aria, in quite a hesitant sort of way; she doesn’t 100% understand that what she(?) feels for Clio is love and isn’t sure what to do with the feeling, so it’s actually by trying to express this to Clio that the answers are gleaned, and a confession/becoming girlfriends sort of falls out of the conversation. Clio had romantic feelings for Aria anyway, but was trying not to act on them because she didn’t want to put her(?) under any pressure to reciprocate - so, overall the confession is very (uncharacteristically!) nervous on Aria’s end and then becomes very relieving on both girls’ ends.

Conversely, for the FFXIV version of Clio, she is the one who confesses first to Lorenza (a bit spontaneously), and her doing so is what forces Lorenza to admit her(?) own rising feelings to herself. This happens.. either right at the end of the post-ARR story, or early into Heavensward; considering certain plot points in that area of the game, I can certainly envision some options for how things might get shoved into the spotlight more spontaneously.

🎀: What was your first date like? - Again, this changes a bit depending on the specific verse! (And is also the hardest one of these questions for me to answer, considering I’ve never been on a date IRL or anything.) I think, for KHUX, it would have been something along the lines of the two of us hanging out together in Daybreak Town one evening after coming back from a mission, which is something Aria and Clio would do quite often even before the confession, but usually Livian (Aria’s Nobody counterpart, and both girls’ best friend) would also come with them since the three often did missions together as a trio. So in an instance where they didn’t come along for whatever reason, and the two were doing fairly normal hangout things, I think Clio would pipe up and say “hehe do you think this counts as our first date” and Aria’s basically just like “maybe?? how do dates work???” because she’s desperate to get it right and figure out how to not mess up what she has gained (which is a running theme with her). She gets a lot more confident about it once she has a better sense of what Clio is happy with (which is, helpfully, pretty much everything - since Clio is quite an easygoing sort of girl in that regard, and a lot of things make her happy, which gives Aria the ability to then figure out what makes her(?) happy. And it all works out!)

In FFXIV, on the other hand, I think it might actually be Lorenza who takes the lead in setting up that first date, because I think it would take place somewhere in the Pillars of Ishgard, near the start of Heavensward. Even though things are somewhat tense at that point in time because of the aftermath of the bloody banquet, the matter remains that Clio and the others are guests of House Fortemps and do therefore have the right to be in Ishgard - so, why don’t they behave as any other wards of the High Houses would, and go explore the city and court each other and so on and so forth? (Clio may not particularly care for any of the typical stuffy noble nonsense that might feature in Ishgard, and Lorenza doesn’t too much either, but.. there is a certain element of something almost nostalgic about being in such an environment, given that she was once a noble’s daughter before the Flood of Darkness destroyed the Thirteenth. We don’t play along completely for the sake of it, though; it’s about blending in but also having a good time in our own rights.)

like, rpf is only meant to be for fun and more important it is meant to be kept away from anyone involved/the general public !! but when ppl's delu results in the actual women these men choose as their partners being at best aggressively cropped out of pictures and videos* and at worst stalked, harassed, their families and employers harassed, abuse and slander left in comments sections on popular social media and team pages - yea carlando laughing together sometimes and slowed down bro hugging isn't enough lol

it’s also slightly the fact that if you picked a bunch of Lando’s reactions to Carlos and Daniel and no one knew context clues then no one would be able to tell which one he’s reacting to. Carlos/Daniel teases Lando, Lando shriek laughs and goes red, James Corden style gay innuendo, slightly tense undercurrent of men wanting to one up each other with jokes, iterations of bromance that are half sincere and half for the cameras, hashtag hashtag. Lando goes to Daniel's ranch on a whim, dando is special. Lando goes to Carlos' sister's huge society wedding, carlando is special. Lando's family likes Lando which makes carlando special. Lando and Daniel share mutual friends outside of racing which makes dando special. like, it's the same dynamic just rotated around at different times. I enjoy both ships to a certain degree but I'm kind of mystified at ppl choosing to see them as super deep and meaningful and worth fighting over.

Anyone. to be in a relationship with, and he'd often flip from completely overdoing things to trying to play it too casual. his partners would inevitably leave feeling some level of disappointed... so the day's somewhat tainted by bad memories. that plus his general negative feelings towards holidays (family shit yippee) makes valentines supremely stressful for him, even though the /CONCEPT/ of the day seems nice! it takes someone with similar social expectations and views of most holidays (hieeeeee. smile.) to finally find a good middle ground approach to the day that works for both of us!.... it still stresses him out though. poor thing. 😫

before dating, doc! and v!ren spend a lot of time trying to avoid the fact that he likes me (doesn't want a repeat of past bad relationships, doesn't want to ruin something good, etc), so i feel like he's the "oh they're such a fun FRIEND, i love being their FRIEND, my FRIEND ro showed me this thing--" type, like he's trying to convince himself that that's how he sees me. most others see right through him though KJASNDKJN. r!ren doesn't have as many hangups about his relationships so he's more straightforward. if he was talking to his coworkers, he'd keep things to a Normal level. he'd mention me if he needed to refer to me for something ("oh, ro said that movie was good, do you recommend it too?" his are quality time + physical touch, mine is acts of service. i feel like we've worked things out pretty well, actually! when he's done with work, we'll spend the evening just sitting together, snuggling and enjoying each others' company and catching up on each others' days. i like to cook nice meals for him when i can; no matter which ren it is, he could use a little extra nutrition sjkdfn. if i'm in his place, i also like to tidy up while he's out, and with my health situation, i deeply appreciate when he goes out of his way to bring things to me or help clean things around my place when i can't get up ;;; 😭 and we'll sometimes do things that combine all of our languages together!! once in a while, we'll take a night to shower together, one of us sitting in a shower chair while the other thoroughly washes their hair and body, massaging their scalp and helping them relax, and then we switch places. then we get into soft pjs, dry each others' hair, maybe continue with some skincare... yknow. just. spending time really focusing on each other, connecting physically in a non-sexual way, and doing something kind to help let out tension. 🥺💕

AAAAAAAA THE TRADEMARK THOUGH THANK YOU??? I love how I've definitely become that Simon and/or Vakama shipper to my friends/followers/etc, they're so precious to me (as are my other F/O's). Lila and Five are already quite an interesting duo, but put these two together and add a little more craziness and these two will be the last ones you want to run into.

I mean, the two of them worked as assassins, they have a hell of a lot of experience in this, their childhood was fucking terrible and they also have superpowers?? what are you even supposed to do?

when they have to work together, they are very good. just think, Five can easily guess that Lila is hiding something, like being the reason why your recent boyfriend suddenly disappeared. would anyone else notice? I don’t think so. 

and there’s Lila. she’s annoying him and getting on Five’s nerves a little too much, Five already have to deal with another 6 mentally unstable adults that still acting like a kids and add to this all Lila? that always trying to strike him back because of their past? this man is done. 

Lila may try to make fun of Number Five all the time, but she’s not stupid. 5 is literally a legend for the entire Commission. Yes, he is the founder, but above all, he is one of the best assassins in the entire timeline, for everyone he should be an example of exactly how to do their job properly. Lila hates Five for killing her parents, and of course she spent a lot of time dreaming about how exactly she would get revenge on him. but if you plan to kill someone, then you need to know them better.

“Ha! I know it has to be you, little psycho,” Lila smirks proudly, her hands on her hips as she looks at him. “I mean, it`s easy to guess.”

They get along well with each other when it is good for both of them, but not when it comes to the fact that they have to share you. If Lila will try to steal all your attention from Five - bad for her. If Five will try to do the same - bad for him. It also means problems and for you.

So basically we doing this cool “the one who makes the calls” and “the one who kills” trend. Well, if we going to compare Lila and Five with Billy and Stu there is no doubt that Lila will be as Stu and Five will be as Billy.

Lila can do both roles, not gonna lie, but she really loves those long and intimidating, somehow silly conversations with you while talking on the phone, her cute attempts to scare you, make you tremble and run around the house trying to close all the windows and doors, and it’s actually makes her laugh, especially knowing how useless it is , because come on, we all know that 5 can just teleport wherever he wants and Lila can just… do the same.

Lila sometimes forget that calling at your phone in the middle of the night is an attempt to make you afraid so you’ll be more pliable and when you’re on the verge of going crazy, because almost every day you hear two different types of voices that calls you, one of which threatens to make you suffer if you continue to ignore them, and the second flirts with you, only to say something weird and scary at the end.

You’ve been wearily watching some random horror movie on your TV screen. In fact, you had already lost the countdown a long time ago, you were tired and wanted to go to bed, your eyes were barely open, but part of your waking consciousness could distantly hear the lines from the movie.

An unexpected phone call makes you jump up and wake up immediately, picking up your phone, only to find out it was some unknown number. You decide to answer this call and put the phone to your ear, expecting to hear someone’s familiar voice, thinking that it could be your friends who wanted to prank you or one of your work colleagues but from a different phone number.

“Hello?” you speak uncertainly.

“Hello, who is this?” the voice asks.

A slight smile appears on your face and you rise from the couch, walking towards the kitchen, still holding the phone in your hands.

“No, I don’t have one,” you answer, playing with a strand of your hair. “Why, you wanna ask me on a date?”

“Maybe I want,” they say and you sighs softly at their attempts. “But you still didn’t told me your name, love.”

“Why do you need to know my name?” you ask nonchalantly as you pop a bag of popcorn into the microwave.

You freeze in place. It could have been a simple prank in an attempt to make you scared, but still, it really worked on you. “What did you say?”

Lila doesn’t have time to finish and you immediately end the phone call, which makes her almost break the device she is holding in her hands.

“Damnit!” she swears, sighing loudly in displeasure. “This time was so damn close!”

Lila’s complaints makes Five smile smugly to himself and that only irritates her more. Five leans against the wall with his shoulder as if he was already know how this would end up.

“Don’t smile like that, you little shit,” she grumbles, trying to call you again and again, but you seem to just ignore her attempts.

“Congratulations, Lila,” he shrugs carelessly. “You screwed up again.”

Five will at first be someone you hardly notice when he does his job. Some idiot bothers you? Disappeared. Are you bullied at school? They are all gone. Is someone too close to you and you show genuine interest in them? I’m sorry, but they won’t call you back after the date. Don’t worry, you can cry in the shoulder to your best friends like Lila or Five who will be always here for you. Huh, what a coincidence…

I think Lila will often act as the one to make the calls, as she seems to be the only one who is successful in this and can hold a dialogue with you for more than a couple of minutes. Unlike Number Five. But he really wants to try talking to you. He craves it and he wants to prove that he can make the calls just as well as the dirty work like killing. He would use this as opportunity to tell you everything that he wouldn’t tell you if he was in front of you right now and you would know the real identity of the person who is always calling you so late. But he really just melts because of your sweet voice and he can listen to it for hours while you tell him about your day or plans for the future, Five is a serious and professional man who does his job perfectly. He knows that he has his own work and it needs to be done even though he really wants to forget it all and rest for some time.

“Stop calling me, you weirdo,” you say tiredly.

“Don’t even dare to hang up on me,” 5 warns you, but you immediately end the call despite his words.

As soon as you end up the call, Five, on the other side, closes his eyes and sighs, trying to calm down, them he calls you again. You barely had time to go to bed when you heard the melody of your phone and you had to pick up the device again. You really wanted like to yell at the person who was bothering you, but you are immediately interrupted.

“No, you listen here. Hang up on me and I’ll gut you like a fish, do you understand me?” he threatens you and the tone of his voice makes you tremble. “Now, do you think you can handle that for me, dear?”

I don`t think that any of them would go to kill some person in front of you. Firstly, they don’t want to hurt you, they go too far just by harassing you with calls, but it’s more of a warning, like “don’t go with that guy because he’s not good enough for you” or “you should stay at home tonight and don’t go to that party”. Yes, Ghostface most often calls victims to scare them and then kill them, but they will never touch you. And I also don’t think that they will harm any of your family or just your friends, only those who can potentially / already harm you, otherwise they warn you about it. You really should listen to those scary people that call you or be more attentive when you look out the window and notice a mysterious figure in a black costume in your backyard with those silly scream mask. you have two pairs of eyes that follow you everywhere and they can clearly see more than you so keep it in mind. but yeah, I think Lila sometimes really can just make some calls to you just for fun so Five need to bonk her time to time to remind her job.

GIVING UP ON YOU

summary -> megumi has always liked you, but he saw the way your eyes widen for his best friend. must he get over you now?

Megumi has always liked you for as long as he can remember. You and him were, and still are childhood best friends. You were the one who comforted him when his mom passed away, and the reason he had himself together when his father abandoned him.

He loved you and admired you so much that it hurt him, that said, you loved him so much, after all, from your point of view, you were each others safe space. Whenever each of you need help or comforting, you would be there for wash other.

Megumi had asked you to hang out with him on your both days off, but he forgot that he also promised to hang out with his pink haired friend, so he though why don’t he introduce the two of you to each other. Megumi thought it was nice idea, but he didn’t know that he would’ve regretted making that decision for the rest of his life.

He noticed the way yuuji looked at you for the first time, as if you were an angel that just fell from heaven, megumi didn’t pay a mind to it, cause Itadori had always been so extra friendly to everyone and he wasn’t scared to make everyone know what he’s feeling.

He saw that you were also being friendly towards him, like any normal person would do, and he didn’t mind it one bit.

That was until you started asking how yuuji is doing or if the three of you could hang out soon, megumi thought that you didn’t want to be around him and you’d rather have someone else beside the two of you. But you told him that it would have been more fun with more people, you weren’t lying, even if you were interested in his friend or not, it a fact that it’s more fun with more people.

So he started making days for the three of y’all to be around each other, megumi was truly having fun, laughing and making memories with his closest friends to heart, but by each time your little trio would hang out, you and yuuji would always accidentally exclude him in a few things, without even meaning it or even try to hurt your beloved friend’s feelings.

Eventually, yuuji also started asking megumi about you and how you’re doing, then he slowly realised that he had to make a move on you soon, he had known you for 12 years and he wouldn’t allow yuuji who only knew you for 3 months to steal you from him.

That was until he got a text message from you, you mentioned that you and megumi should meet up to talk about something, also as an opportunity for only the two of you to hang out together. You and megumi met a the cafe you always used to study in as secondary school students.

Megumi had asked you what’s the matter and your next line shocked him. “Megu!! Im only telling you this because I trust you so so so much and you know it! Please help me!” You stated first while clapping your hands once infront of him and shutting your eyes, “I really really like yuuji! He is exactly my type! Strong, sweet, friendly and funny” you stopped and open your eyes and put your hands down. “Please megu, set me up with him.” You said, and looked out the window, while the blood in megumi body suddenly stopped moving, he looked down at his shoes and gulped hard. “O-okay I’ll try my best, y/n. Don’t worry.” He said as he tried to assure you. He knew damn well that he wasn’t going to do anything about it, in fact he was going to distance you from Itadori.

But that sweet smile you gave him after he said he would help you made his eyes soften and realise how awful he is for thinking that way. After the two of you finished hanging out, yuuji had previously sent megumi a text, saying that he was at his door waiting for him, and when the dark hair boy got to his apartment he saw his pink haired friend standing in front of his door.

“What is it? It’s super late itador.” Megumi scoffed as he was already tried from what had happened today, “sorry dude, I just need to talk.” Yuuji said as they both went inside megumis apartment, “well?” Megumi asked as he took of his shoes, “listen dude I really like y/n, like really really I have never met soemone as awesome as her and I want to ask her out. Sorry for saying this late at light but I really need you right now dude.”

Dude, megumi can’t do this anymore, two shocking news in 4 hours is a little too much for him, he went quiet for a moment while yuuji stood awkwardly at his door, he tried to think, what to say, what to do, should he tell him what you had told him before? Or should he tell him that he also has feelings for you.

But suddenly a thought went inside his head, it hurt him to hear that you were interested in yuuji more than him, it really did, but he saw the way yuuji’s eyes sparkled with love only for you and he saw the way you both care about each other and he definitely didn’t miss those times where you would mention yuuji in almost every conversation with megumi.

“Go to her.” Megumi finally spoke, “what?” Yuuji said, “go to her, she told me that she likes you too.” He said, and he can’t even believe that he said it out loud, “for real? Dude? When did she tell you?” His friend spoke excitedly, “today, go to her, don’t keep her waiting you idiot.” Megumi spoke as he still had his back to his friend, “fushiguro! Bro! You’re a real one, I’ll never forget this from you. I’ll be out, I’ll tell you the details later.” Yuuji quickly said he as he ran out the door.

And megumi was now alone in his lonely apartment, he fell slowly on the ground with his back to a wall, he can’t believe what he just did and said, he can’t believe that he gave his love for you to someone else, and he can’t believe that he lost his chance with you.

A little tear rolled down his cheek while he hit the back of his head to the wall while thinking how hard itll be for him to be around the two of you right now, he needed to get over his 12 year one-sides crush.

Megumi sat in the same spot for about 25 minutes before he got a text from his pink hair friend.

YUUJI [ bro, ty, i really owe you one. we’re currently going on a night drive date 🙏💯 ]

YUUJI [ I love you man, no homo. ]

The dark haired teen smiled a little at the last statement, before he shortly after got a text message from you.

‘Childhood best friend’ right, cause that is all that megumi can be to you, he wonder if one day he’ll tell you about this or you’ll find out for yourself. What he truly knows is that he is ready to make you his the moment you’re available.

That said, it did hurt him to see you and yuuji were so happy together. But if that meant that you’re happy, even if you were happier without him. Then he is happy too.

And now he will try his hardest to be giving up on you.

The next day he put on his usual unbothered act, tried to put himself together, and walked to the restaurant that you and Itadori had promised to take him to as a thank you.
