Architect John Lautner’s iconic Wolff House, designed as a homage to his mentor Frank Lloyd Wright, was for sale for $6.7M and was purchased by Hearst Heiress Amanda Hearst & her husband for $5.9M. It was built in 1961 in Los Angeles, California, has only 1bd & 1.5ba. A guest house was added in 1970.

The front entrance has a very cool "porch."

A copper roof connects the main house to the 3bd guest house.

A vast living room flanked by 16ft-long windows is alongside a modernized kitchen and dining room on the main floor.

The dining area, I think. It's hard to tell when rooms are empty.

The gleaming kitchen is outfitted with stainless steel cabinetry.

Entrance door opens to a rounded stairway with the kitchen off to the left.

On the middle floor is the master bedroom suite.

A deck fills the bottom level, two stories above the street.

Next to the deck is an angular swimming pool.

I honestly do think that Layla plays a role in what Noel does and doesn’t do.

I am willing to bet she allowed him to go back to shameless because they were both not booking jobs to live the lifestyle that SHE wanted, plastic surgery isn’t cheap. I mean the woman wasn’t allowed on set for season 11 but managed to snag a role as an extra just to get there. There are many instances of her showing controlling, stalking, and toxic behaviour.

Regardless of Noel and Cam or whatever the situation was or is with them.. she has shown contempt.

Just my thoughts and my two cents and like any theorist I could be wrong, but when it comes to Laylas attitude and behaviours, I really don’t think I am.

I know it may seem like I've stepped into the role of Layla's defender, or advocate or something. I'm really not. My feelings about her are actually quite neutral. However, when I get asks like this, I'm at a loss on how I can possibly respond without appearing like that's exactly what I am.

What you view as controlling, stalking, and toxic, I don't. In the past few weeks, I've been seeing Amanda Hearst not only visiting the Tron: Ares set constantly, but also bringing her kids and having personalized set chairs made for them. I don't know if that ought to be interpreted as a similar kind of toxicity or nepotistic privilege or what in people's eyes, but because nobody on this blog gives a crap about Joachim Ronning and Amanda Hearst, it's not seen as anything. Why should it be?

And, I agree that plastic surgery is not cheap. But neither are mortgage payments, car payments, health insurance, life insurance, food, gas, utilities, or anything else people need to fulfill their basic life needs. (I'm not calling botox and facelifts a life need. Just speaking to the fact that money is required for everything.) This idea that she allows Noel to work so that he can provide for her means what exactly? That she'd rather pay their bills than default on them?

Yes, she did get a small role on Shameless in season 11, but so did Sophia Macy, Bill's daughter. Prior to that, Brielle Barbusca appeared on season 6 of Shameless. (She's Emma's best friend and Ethan's ex-girlfriend, and if you google it, you will find that they met on set in 2015. But this isn't true. Receipts below the break.)

Anyway, my point is that I am not defending what kind of person Layla is or what her marital agenda might be. I don't know her, nor do I feel the need to sing her praises—for exactly that reason. I am not qualified to. But, some of these arguments made for why she's a human roadblock to the happiness of two men yearning to be together, I just can't simply smile and nod through. Sorry if that isn't what you guys want to hear, but I'm giving you my honest point of view.

No Joe Jr’s last phone call was to his friend named Lorelle Hearst who was a daughter in law to William Randolph Hearst and he told her to tell his father that even if he disagreed with him he still loved him.

The Hearsts and the Kennedys go way back, Joe Sr was close friends with William and the boys would go to Hearst Castle and the Hearst estate named “Wyntoon” and “St Donat's Castle” which is currently United World Colleges where all the young international royals go to school. JFK stayed there with the Hearsts. JFK and Jackie also honeymooned at his estate in Beverly Hills, that estate was also in The Godfather (horse head scene lol) and other celebrities used it as well. I also think the connection is still going strong now. Rfk Jr’s daughter Kick is like best friends with Amanda Hearst who is Willam’s great granddaughter.

Ah ok! Very interesting how the friendships have lasted close to a century!

            Babe Paley (Barbara Paley) was an American magazine editor and socialite. She was known for her fashion sense and was honoured on the Best Dressed List.

            Paley was born in Boston, Massachusetts, US, and was the daughter of a brain surgeon. She and her sisters, Mary and Betsey were known as the ‘Fabulous Cushing Sisters’, Babe’s debut was in 1934 which was attended by the sons of Roosevelt. Betsey married James Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt’s son.

            Paley was married twice, whilst working at Vogue magazine she met Stanley Mortimer Jr. an oil heir from a wealthy New York family and the couple married in 1940. The couple had two children and then they divorced in 1946. Their daughter Amanda married Carter Burden Jr. from the Vanderbilt family. Babe had neglected her children and concentrated on socialising and her extravagant lifestyle.

In 1946, Babe met William Paley “Pasha” who was married to Dorothy Hearts (wife of John Hearst). Paley was wealthy and divorced his wife in 1947 to marry Babe. The couple had two children together but Babe experienced loneliness during the marriage due to her husband’s constant infidelities.

            Babe is best known due to writer Truman Capote, who was close friends. Capote befriended wealthy upper-class women and called them his ‘swans’. Capote wrote a book named ‘Answered Prayers’ which exposed his friend’s secrets, under ‘fiction’. After reading the book, Truman’s swans had nothing to do with him again.

            Babe found out she had lung cancer in 1974 due to heavy smoking. She planned her funeral and the funeral luncheon. She died a day after her 63rd birthday and Truman wasn’t invited to her funeral.

Her great-grandfather was William Randolph Hearst.

The American newspaper publisher, and politician who developed the nation's largest newspaper chain and media company, Hearst Communications. He may best be remembered as the thinly veiled subject of the classic film Citizen Kane. Spoiler Alert: Rosebud was a sled.

Her aunt is Patty Hearst. The photo below comes from a terrible time in her life when she was kidnapped and under the influence of the Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA). A small, American militant organization active between 1973 and 1975.

Hearst later claimed she was subjected to a series of ordeals while in SLA captivity; her mother later described these as "brainwashing". The announced change in Hearst's politics through the following months has been attributed to Stockholm Syndrome, a psychological response in which a hostage exhibits apparent loyalty to the abductor.

Patty Hearst's attorney F. Lee Bailey used the Stockholm Syndrome argument as part of her defense at trial. She was convicted of the Hibernia Bank robbery, in San Francisco, and sentenced to seven years in prison.
