Now I want to know who the hell would be Anakin's earthbending and airbending masters. And, how Ashoka fit into this whole thing?!
Attempts at Waterbending š
Avatar Anakin, native fire bender, just can't seem to get water bending down. "He's too hot headed and impatient." says water bending master Obi-Wan, who happens to be the only one willing to put up the Avatars crap in order to train him.

There were moments about the Ahsoka finale that I very much liked (Huyang talking to Ezra about Kanan!! He saved a matching piece to Kanan's lightsaber and said, "Ahhh, it all makes sense now." when he realized Ezra was building based on his Master's teachings!! And so gave the piece to Ezra as he's done a thousand times before!!!) but it also reconfirmed that I don't think Felony can structure a story for shit. Was it somewhat emotional to have Huyang tell Ezra about what happened to the Wrens? Sure. But you know what would have been a good, interesting story that delivered on everything Rebels built before? SEEING THE STORY UNFOLD. This isn't a story, it's an infodump. It's the same thing with the show's central relationship--Ahsoka and Sabine--that how they came to be where they are with each other, how they vastly changed their dynamic, how they created this dynamic? Told to us in a split second infodump instead of actually delivering us a story. It's the same with everything that happened after Rebels' finale, we only saw a brief CGI bit of Mandalore being carpet bombed by the Empire, but that storyline is fundamentally important to both Bo-Katan's story and Sabine's story, yet we never even see it as a story. It's a split-second flashback or infodump. And don't even get me started on not seeing Hera and Ezra hug or Ahsoka's speech about how Anakin always stood by her, how her entire arc this season has been about coming to terms with his legacy and accepting the good in him, so when his Force Ghost shows up, she should smile and actually see him there, right? It would bring the thematic conclusion to a nice closure, right??? But, no, instead she doesn't even sense him there, Sabine half-senses him, and then Ahsoka is like, "It's time to move on." like are we supposed to tie that to her relationship with Anakin?? Or is that just Felony not knowing how to structure a written scene?? It's not even that his work is bad so much as it's just aggressively so much less than it could be. It's always infodumps to explain why we're suddenly three miles to the left of where we were before, instead of telling that story instead. We could have had a true Rebels sequel by showing us what happened with Mandalore, but instead we get whatever this was. And it wasn't even really about Ahsoka more than like 10% of the time. ;__;

Hello I am thinking about a Naruto crossover
Primary thought is a genin team of Ahsoka, Fives, and Echo. They are taught by Obi-Wan, because Naruto sticks pretty closely to a fifteen year age gap between teachers and students, with one glaring exception.
Another team is probably Rex, Wolffe, and Gregor. They are taught by Plo.
Kix, Jesse, Hardcase, taught by Alpha-17.
Cal, Merrin, Trilla, taught by Cere.
Idk who's joining Caleb and Hera. Maybe Boba or Omega? Probably taught by Depa, occasionally Zeb helps, but he treats them like tiny adult peers instead of students.
Cody, Fox, and Ponds, taught by Mace Windu
Anakin's already passed his exam so he isn't on one of the event teams, but he was on a team with Barriss (she graduated ninja academy pretty young) and Bly.
Bly was on a team with Aayla, and their third teammate got an early promotion. People were talking about how bb!Anakin needed to be on A Team instead of just apprenticed to Obi-Wan (like Kakashi and Minato), so they added him to fill the spot under Quinlan.
Then Aayla got promoted and Quinlan was needed for deep spy stuff, so Anakin and Bly got reshuffled over to be a new team with Barriss under Luminara.
There's no plot to this other than Vague Chuunin Exams setting, because I'm sure not writing it, but I wanted to make Teams. If I were an artist I'd probably draw the groups, but I am Not.
AND AS ALWAYS
AHSOKA GETS OWL SUMMONS
I wanted Anakin to be Ahsokaās teacher but he's just too damn young for Ninja Land Standards, they stick pretty close to the fifteen year gap. Smallest exception is Kakashi and Minato.
But Obi-Wan getting lonely as Anakin gets older, and deciding to get a new team where Anakin shows up to "help" every day, makes sense to me.
Also I just enjoy Ahsoka + Dominoes. Default teacher for those two is Rex, but I didn't want to make him THAT much older than Ahsoka, because I like him being Anakin's age group.
So I'm going with Anakin Lurking to teach Obi-Wan's kids dangerous antics.
I think he takes them out on field trips (missions) when Obi-Wan is sick or busy.
(PadmƩ is on a team from a different village, and her teammates are two of the other handmaidens, led by Typho. Three of the other handmaidens are on another team led by Panaka.)

Okay this episode of Ahsoka was incredible and broke me so many times and Iām so happy that Dave let us finally see live action Clone Wars. Ahsoka was so freaking young in the Clone War and I forget that with how cocky and mature she is in the show. They freaking nailed Anakin and Ahsokaās dynamic in live action and I love it. Anakin actually teaching her in live action was great, especially since itās clear that he wasnāt quite sure how to teach this child yet and heās still figuring it out and trying to connect with her while still fighting a war. Anakin never wanted a padawan and hadnāt prepared himself to be a teacher at first, he was figuring it out as he went and they showed that perfectly. The designs of Anakin in his clone war armor and Ahsokaās young design were all š. Live action Rex was almost everything; if only Temueraās face could have been seen. Young Ahsokaās actress nailed the role, especially the older Ahsoka of the Siege of Mandalore (that armcross, though). Anakin and Ahsokaās duel(s) had so freaking much to unpack that Iāll need ages before I can even try; the choreography was phenomenal and they once again nailed Anakinās style. They mentioned Leia and sheās just as defiant against the New Republic bureaucracy bullshit as she should be, doing all she can to help Hera from afar and thatās fucking awesome. It also implies that either Luke knows about the situation and has a valid reason to be elsewhere or they didnāt call him because he is busy rebuilding the Jedi and the Republic military knows this (and it eases the MCU phase 2 āwhy arenāt they just calling the Avengersā vibes Iāve been getting for weeks). And Iām just rambling because I loved it so much and I want to gush before reality hits again.
Iāve edited this post several times as stuff keeps popping up.

I can go anywhere I want just not home: Ahsoka and Anakin

So my favourite part of the chapter was the way the actual ages of Ahsoka and Anakin played a part in their interaction, Ahsoka tells Anakin that he looks the same and Anakin answered that she looks old, which is true, Ahsoka is close to aging beyond Anakin“s age of death at 46 and while Anakin "looks" like clone wars Anakin, he isn“t just Anakin, this is post ROTJ Anakin, someone who already lived 23 years in the light and 23 years in the darkness, he is Vader, he is Anakin, he isn“t young at all and he is living in a whole other level in the force compared to the one Ahsoka lives, because she is still alive.
In fact the first question Anakin ask Ahsoka is if she still remembers Baylan Skoll, because that means she is still alive, she can still come back, "That“s good" he says.

I love how adult Ahsoka automatically reverts to her teenager personality when she noticed Anakin, she smiles, her eyes bright up, she makes jokes and teases Anakin just like in the good old times, because she missed him so much, in many ways he is her home and if he wasn“t there anymore she could not return home, as simple as that, she could not act as if Vader was Anakin, he was a broken version of her master, consumed by darkness, she probably was happy to hear from Luke Anakin died in the light but he was dead and she didn“t get the chance to say goobye but THIS, this is her brother/father, he is back, he looks the same, she can lower her guard, smile and tease because he is here to take care of things like he used to do when she was a child.
She only gets serious when Anakin isn“t automatically teasing her as well, when he says he needs to teach her one more thing, when he gets serious, then Ahsoka remembers Anakin isn“t just Anakin anymore, she knows him but he“s grown into someone she doesn“t know anymore either.
So Anakin begins by teasing her back, putting her at ease and then, he sends her to the heart of what“s bothering her, the clone wars. In many ways, she is still that child fighting over and over again, she no longer has a particular reason to keep fighting and she is tired. It“s such a good contrarts how while adult Ahsoka is teasing with Anakin, child Ahsoka is grumpy, she complains, she questions, she asks, just like she did in the past, this child is adult Ahsoka allowing herself to be a child again, to not have all the anwers and to complain to Anakin to give her a reason to keep fighting and explain why does it matter anymore. She could not do this with Hera and Sabine because Hera is her friend but they are not that close and she is also her superior in the alliance and Sabine depends on her to make the decisions and guide her but Anakin? He is family, she can complain all day long knowing he will try at least to listen to her and try to guide her to the best of his hability and this isn“t teenager Anakin either, this is post Vader Anakin so she knows she can get snippy, angry, mad and hostile with him all she wants, she has all the right to be and he will take it.

Anakin doesn“t just listens anymore, he counsels but he also pushes her into talking about what she doesnt want to talk about
"Do you really want a padawan?" "Being a teacher isn“t all that"
Low key Anakin is giving her the freedom of not being a teacher if she doesn“t want to be, Ahsoka looks at him affronted but it“s true, she accepted Sabine because Hera wanted her to and Sabine wanted her to but she herself isn“t sure she wants a padawan, in fact she already abandoned Sabine once, what is keeping her from doing the same again? and part of the reason she doesn“t know the answer is that she wants to be able to give Sabine or any other padawan something more than war, death and the training to be a warrior as a legacy but she is convinced there isn“t anything else she can give, because emotionally she is still that little girl forced to fight in a war, mourning for each death, mourning for her master fall and she believes that“s all she is ever going to be in the future. She fears her master fate because she believes that is going to be her fate too.
So Anakin, Vaderkin, tries to explain she has to adapt to the times, his master teached him to be a guardian of peace because that“s what he was, Anakin teached her how to be a soldier because they were fighting in a war and she would have died if he didn“t teach her how to survive war but this doesn“t mean she can“t adapt to the times she and her padawan are living and this is precisely what Ahsoka is refusing to do, she is stil in mourning so she can“t enjoy her present.
Anakin tells her she is more and even if she believes she can“t because she has his teachings in her, she is more because he also is way more than Vader.
So when Ahsoka answers him "you are more but more dangerous and powerful than anybody thoguht" and if that“s what he is, then what hope is there for her if she has inside herself his legacy, his teachings?
Is this what this is about? I gave you a choice live or die
Here Anakin gets mad because she isn“t understanding, she has his legacy but she isn“t him, his fall, his redemption, his good and his bad side are his own, not hers and in time she will have to make her own decisions, adapt, grow and teach her padawan what she had learned, they are the legacy of previous masters but they are also MORE, they are also what each one of them adds to that legacy.

So Anakin brings his other half, Vader, to teach her and test her with the same lesson Anakin learned along with Luke, his Son, you are more, you make your own choices and you can choose again and again and that“s what defines you, only you can define yourself, not others. He pushes Ahsoka with Vader“s persona to defy her to live once again but he also pushes her by showing her , her deepest fear, her falling, her becoming a darksider and he gives her an ultimatum, kill him and die herself, not just physically but the light inside of her, or live and stay in the light.
Ahsoka chooses the light and lets her lightsabers fall, just like Luke did, her lightsabers are no longer her life, she is more than war, she is more than just a warrior fighting in an eternal war but more than that, she is still herself and it“s her choice if she wants to stay being herself or die and fall.

Anakin reverts back from Vader to himself again, proud of her, happy with her choice, he reverts to show her how if he, who was in darkness for so many years, buried and dead inside could still come back, then there“s so much hope for her to make her life anew by not letting her past or her lightsabers define her anymore and this is symbolized with her being taken away from the water towards safety.
In the end, he didn“t just wanted to teach her how to live physically again or how to leave behind her past, enjoy her present and enjoy life, he also wanted her to learn she must live by not falling to the darkness and even if she falls, there“s "Hope for her still" because there was also hope for him as well and now Ahsoka can remember him without mourning, without regret.
Just so many great interactions between them. Loved this chapter. Hope we see what other scenes Anakin is going to have because this story isn“t done yet.
PD: Post ROTJ dead Anakin is so relaxed, happy and vibing, love it, honestly, good for him.

I think one of the most impressive things about Dave Filoni's Star Wars' works (beside his knowledge & respect for the lore of SW) is his understanding of the importance & impact of its visual language on pop culture, and our consumption & interpretation of SW as fans & the general public.
He gets it, he gets that for over 45 years SW fans have seared Luke standing under the twin suns of Tatooine, Yoda teaching Luke in the swamp, Vader & Luke on the bridge of Bespin, on the Death Star, and so much more into our brain, our heart & soul. Those images are iconic, not just from a pop culture front but from a SW lore pov.
It is why in ep 5 of Ahsoka we get so MANY scenes that are callbacks to the OG films but also to the animated series. It is bcos SW is built on echoes of what came before it, except we have reached a point where the callbacks/parallels are to SW media itself now.
So when we get scenes of Ahsoka & Anakin fighting on the walkways of the World Between Worlds, we are getting nearly half a century of cultural VISUAL callbacks & parallels. Luke vs Vader, Anakin vs Obi-Wan, the countless battles during The Clone Wars and so much more. We know & we understand the inherent importance of history that is on our screen. And we fucking breathes it in like life saving air.
It is why when Anakin & Ahsoka stand next to each other, arms folded in front of them, purviewing the destruction of Mandalore, we are recalling the visual familiarities of Anakin & Ahsoka like this in the animated series, the ways Obi-Wan & Anakin stood next each other, the ways Qui-Gon & Obi-Wan stood next each other, and so much more. It is a legacy, it is an iconic stance we all know, that we all connect to SW. Because we have seen it multiple times between Master & Padawan.
It is people walking through dust/gas - a nightmare coming to live, a dream being over, the ways we connect the fear & hope on Geonosis, the battles, and Vader striding through gas. We know the visual cues - a threat or a vision.
But isn't just recalling echoes now, Dave Filoni is creating new SW visuals that will be adding to the lexicon of SW visual language in our brain. Hera, Jacen & Jacen standing in front of the cliff, the ocean beneath & in front of him. It is Anakin striding away into war, smog & fire lighting his way, flashes of Vader present. It is Anakin striding through the smog towards us, Vader across his shoulders. It is the Purgills in the air, in space, their presence in the light. And so much more.
Filoni's visual understanding that SW is full of important & memorable scenes, scenes that are embedded into our subconsciousness, and then creating new scenes for us to latch onto is amazing. A scene in SW can't just be cool, it needs to serve an emotional, a plot, and a mythical purpose. It needs to be iconic.
(And the music. NEVER forget the music).

Thoughts while watching Ahsoka Ep 5!!
There was a lot of yelling into my hands in just the first 15 minutes
WOWEEE we haven't event started to watch and we're already emotional because HAYDEN IS THERE IN ALL HIS ANAKIN GLORY ON THE HOME PAGE BANNER *sobs in prequel fan*
"Ahsoka confronts her past" we have still not even started and the episode description has me on the edge of my seat for the crumbs I'm desperate for

Heyo love Jacen saying there's something about the water and then the little force trill plays when Hera turns
Let you weird force sensitive kid tell you about the water
Seriously, I feel like Hera and Din need to start a "force sensitive kid" parent support group. They're the only two members. It's just the two of them talking about the weird shit their kid pulled off
Ok yeah fucking cool with the lightsabers in the waves. You go Jacen!

HE LOOKS SO GOOD
We got past the clone wars flashback and I made peace with myself we wouldn't hear him speak but oh my fucking god what if he speaks now
Yes we're still paused, yes this episode will probably take twice as long for me to get through purely because of Rex sightings
OH MY GOD HE SPOKE
OH MY GOD IT'S TEM REX IT'S TEM REX
Why am I crying why does Star Wars do this to me
Hearing Temeura Morrison refer to Ahsoka as Commander in Rex's armor makes me want to cheer and cry at the same time

Ahsoka is so dramatic I love her freaking lineage so much they love overdramatic entrances my god
Oh hello Gandalf
She could honestly get me to do anything with her little side smile I love her so much
What a fucking love letter to Star Wars this show is
Carson if the friend of all friends. "Hey make sure the fleet doesn't get near us" "yeah sure I can do that" stalls said fleet via ridiculous chatter
Hera tells Jacen about Ezra šššš
Cannot wait to see all the cosplay of this fit of Ahsoka's, this grey and white is siiiiiiick
Would fly to wherever Dave Filoni is to shake his hand if it ended with the purgill just taking a chomp and thus killing them. Would be so freaking funny
Oh hello shot tribute to inside the asteroid worm in ESB
"No idea" I. FREAKING. LOVE. HER. THIS. IS. SNIPS. I'M. DYING.
Look at her learning her little Jedi lessons

The Jedi got their own Doctor as well.
I haven't written fanfic in years but I might actually write this.
The unhinged, slightly incoherent Doctor Who/Star Wars crossover meta-ish long post no one asked for
Ahsoka season 2 needs to give me the backstory between Ahsoka and Huyang. How did they find each other? Was it after Ezra rescued her on Malachor? Was it before that? We have no idea what she was doing leading up to those events because she only showed up on Rebels for a handful of episodes.
And the last time we saw Huyang, he and Ahsoka and the younglings were having to deal with space pirates (HONDOOOOOO) and then General Grievous. Ahsoka was much younger in that time and we never saw Huyang again after that.
At what point in canon did they run into each other again? I think he's the only one who knows that Anakin = Vader based on a cryptic reply he gave to Hera when she asked him what Ahsoka's master was like. All he said was intense.
He's so used to Ahsoka's chaotic nature that every time she's like "I'm gonna do the thing" he's just like yeah okay because he's been dealing with the Jedi for 25,000 years and they are going to yeet themselves into the unknown whether he thinks it's a good idea or not. He remembers what Anakin Skywalker was like, after all.
This is one of my favorite things about Huyang's "history" though.
The idea that even the Jedi have their own version of the 10th Doctor is hilarious to me, and that rumor started somewhere.
But I also love what another droid says about Huyang in this passage.
Huyang is 25,000 years old so he's had plenty of time to become the one the Jedi go to when it comes to lightsaber construction. He helps the Jedi build weapons that are meant to be used as tools of self-defense because lightsabers are, in fact, extremely dangerous. This sounds like something the Doctor would do because the Jedi were peacekeepers and not soldiers, and it makes you sad when you realize that Huyang had to watch as the order he had devoted himself to for 25,000 years to were killed in a genocide that turned the Jedi's closest allies against them by removing their free will and forcing them to kill their Jedi generals, and it was all planned over centuries by the Sith who intentionally kept their numbers small.
When he ran into Ahsoka again, what was it like for him? She was one of the few survivors of the Jedi Purge. He remembers her as a child and now she's in her 40s. She was one of the few who was able to grow up because she survived.
What was going on in his head when he handed Ezra the emitter he was looking for because he somehow knew Ezra was looking for one like Kanan's? Huyang somehow knew it would be important to keep a second identical part around when he watched Caleb Dume (Kanan Jarrus) construct his very first lightsaber.
How much does Kanan's death weigh on him? Kanan was another child who survived the Purge. He met Kanan as Caleb not many years before the war ended and the Jedi were wiped out. Caleb had to change his name because he watched the clones gun down his master and he ran away exactly like she told him to before she died. Running away is what lead him to sacrificing his life so the rebellion would survive. Kanan fell in love with Hera, fathered a child he never got to meet, and now Huyang is getting to know Kanan's son (and will absolutely not be teaching Jacen how to construct a lightsaber "thank you very much your mom already said no" and the Tenth Doctor is used to angry moms slapping him in the face.)
Huyang spent 25,000 years living in one galaxy and teaching generation after generation of Jedi how to construct lightsabers. He was given the title of Professor because of the wealth of knowledge he carries around inside of him, and he only uses it for good, and he shares insightful wisdom and knowledge with the Jedi Order century after century after century.
And because he followed Ahsoka into the mouth of a space whale so they could travel to a completely different galaxy altogether, he is now stuck in another galaxy far, far away with Ahsoka (present), Sabine (future), Baylon Skoll (past), Shin Hati (new), a bunch of pacifist turtles, the force ghost of Anakin Skywalker, and the images of the Father, Daughter and Son that are carved into the mountains somewhere (and for some reason the Daughter's head is missing).
Now he can pass the tale of the Jedi across the universe. On the same planet where the Mortis gods are worshipped. It's going to link directly to the fact that Ahsoka is connected to the Daughter, both of whom were killed by the Son on Mortis, but Daughter allowed Anakin to use her remaining life force to bring Ahsoka back to life.
Is this going to turn into the story of how Huyang has to say goodbye to Ahsoka Tano, former Jedi and survivor who became a dear friend and travel buddy?
Is Seatos calling her back home? She possesses a gift that comes from an actual god. It's the only reason she's alive. And why Ezra had to reach into the past and save her from dying on Malachor at the hands of Vader. It would have tied the light side of the Force to a Sith temple.
There is only one other person Ahsoka shares such a strong bond with, and that's Captain Rex (is he alive, is he dead, if he died offscreen I am going to fucking sue Disney). Yeah I know he's old now, but he deserves a proper send-off. The Clone Wars was, as Dave Filoni has said, a story about Ahsoka Tano and Captain Rex. Captain Rex is her best friend and the one who was standing by her side when the Clone Wars ended. Neither of them would have survived without the other.
Ahsoka knew there was no way she would be able to save the other clones, but she refused to be the one who killed them. She couldn't do it. They might have all shared a face but all of them were unique and important to her, and she could never ask Rex to save her life by killing them. It made getting out a lot more difficult because the clones were able to just get back up again and start fighting a few minutes later since Rex was only stunning them. (Interesting how that happened on Seatos too but this time because the troopers were zombies.)
Ezra was able to escape Seatos in Thrawn's ship but Ahsoka, Sabine and Huyang got left behind.
Did Rex even find out Ahsoka was alive after she came back from Malachor? If so, this means he's losing her yet again. For the fourth time in their lives. If not, then he's still on his third time (which was Malachor).
Also interesting how he was found on a planet in the Seelos system, and it was just a barren wasteland like Tatooine. Seatos and Seelos sound alike. Satine and Sabine sound alike and were both Mandalorian. How Sabine built a deadly weapon called The Duchess when she was being trained by the Empire that was able to disintegrate soldiers wearing Mandalorian armor, and it was named after Satine, the pacifist who turned Mandalore into a peaceful planet. And ironically now it's at peace because the Mandalorians were wiped out after the fall of the Empire. And think about how the clones all came from the DNA of Jango Fett, a Mandalorian bounty hunter with blue and silver armor (and described as genetically perfect specimen by the Kaminoans).
Huyang is watching all of this unfold, but he's so old that it's just one of countless adventures he's been on, only this time he bonded with a former Jedi after a war that devastated their order completely. He might be a droid, but he's also more than that. He's ancient and wise and found a friend in Ahsoka Tano, the one who is imbued with the life force of a god and comes from a lineage that stands out above the others because it's the lineage of the Sith as well.
And as Huyang has now famously said...
How is it all going to end? If he is the Doctor, how did he become a droid too?
One day I might write a long ass fic about this if I ever have the energy to do so.

Rebels Rewatch: āVision of Hopeā
Plot threads coming together as we approach the home stretch and season finale arc, lets explore some sewers today!
Kanan has deemed it safe enough to enlist help training Ezra again.Ā Fortunately this time they are solidly on the ground and taking precautions. XD
This exercise is a little bit similar to the one Anakin put Ahsoka through in Trials of the Jedi.Ā Only, you know, it has an actual achievable goal and endpoint (redirecting a blaster bolt into the target helmet) and Kanan doesnāt force Ezra to keep getting knocked unconscious over and over again.
Nice detail in Ezra sensing bolts coming and ducking, moving before they even remotely reach him.

Please help him, heās so tired.
Seeing that Ezraās distracted, Kanan calls a brief halt.Ā I do wonder if Ezraās own anticipation of catching Gall Trayvisās broadcast, while heās open to the Force and letting it help him deflect and dodge shots, is what triggered his vision.
The boy does tend to accident his way into Force breakthroughs lol.

This full-body eyeroll is such a typical teenager thing.
The āShenanigansā leitmotif comes in here, in playful synths.Ā Then the Force ring sound effects starts and it crashes to a halt with a note of cymbal percussion.Ā The strings take over with high frantic ascending trills that drop away into the full-on soundscape of Force noises, only a strained trumpet bleeting out halting notes of Ezraās theme.
Thereās a pulsing heartbeat sound underneath everything too.Ā Also love the wavering effect on the sides of the screen to indicate the vision.
The amazement when Kanan tells Ezra he deflected every single shot into the helmet, aww.

He looks so proud.
You know in hindsight itās really not surprising that Kanan assumed Ezra had graduated to tracking through the Force in āLegacyā, given how often the kid had already surprised him. XD

His face.Ā *sobs*
I havenāt been commenting on it much but pay attention to whenever the titlecard pops up without its normal bombastic fanfare.Ā Usually a sign that things are serious.Ā I remember we went a solid streak of like five episodes in Season Four without a single fanfare and it was STRESSFUL.
Kanan brings up the very likely possibility that Ezraās desires are coloring his vision, making him see what he wants to see out of it, which again goes to show why the Jedi teach discipline and clarity of mind when tapping into the Force.Ā You bring your own emotions and junk into the connection with you and they can trick you even more than the already cryptic and vague visions can.Ā āYour focus determines your reality.ā
Weāll revisit this concept later in the series.
Zeb going for a headsmack while Sabine chooses a shoulder bump.Ā Sabine has this adorable devilish grin right before she lays it on him.Ā It turns softer and more playful as she passes.

Ezra smacks Zeb back as he runs into the Ghost, cute.
Subtle animation appreciation moment: The way Ezra twirls his helmet before sitting down, lovely little character touches like this make the animation feel more natural and immersive and realistic.
Hngh, Ezraās eagerness in these early scenes hurts.
Lol, Sabine leans in when Ezra mentions the mural, the artist in her is intrigued.Ā And without missing a beat she pulls up the correct schematic.

This is the biased shipper in me but Iām loving their comfortable proximity, you can see Sabine slip out of her seat in the booth and kneel or crouch next to Ezra whoās on the stool.
Kanan once again warning Ezra not to put too much stock in his vision and Hera raising an eyebrow like, āMais, cāest quoi?ā

āHe had a what now?ā
Hi Zare!
Zare is exiting state left into his own spinoff adventure lol.Ā (Really gotta get myself a copy of his books.)
Ezraās eyes are really pretty this episode.
The crew talking about Ezraās tragic backstory. :(
That old Ralph McQuarrie concept art put to use in lovely fashion.

*has a plan*

*DOUBT.jpeg*
And Chopper straight up murdered his first other droid lol.Ā And also very nearly takes Kananās head off.
The sass on this droid. XD
Always found it cute how Ezra doesnāt get indignant or offended by Sabine implying he smells like the sewers but glees up like itās the most exciting thing in the world that sheās paid enough attention to him to tell.

Even Kananās like, āOkay, can you not be embarrassing about your obvious crush for like two seconds?ā
Hi Trayvis, you dirty lying snake. :)

This shot of Ezra and Kanan igniting their lightsabers together for the first time is pretty sweet.
āPadawan Jabba.āĀ Snrk, love that Kallus remembered that.
Oooooh lookit the way Zebās bo-staff lights up the smoke!
Heraās blaster has a very unique sound that I like.
The āShenanigansā cue comes back but it is a lot less fun and upbeat.Ā Some of the chords sound transposed to minor key.
Trayvis starting pinging me the moment we saw him in person, honestly, just something about him and the way he talked was way too slimy but his hesitance to actually escape here definitely got me suspicious.
Good thing Kanan was reviewing blaster bolt deflection earlier lol.

SNAAAAAAAAKE.
NO ONE LIKES YOU. >:(

āHow will you find us?āĀ āI can smell you, remember?ā <3333333
Love to see Sabine initiating the banter for once.

Even Hera is like, āTHATāS CUTE GUYS BUT WE GOTTA GO.ā
Trayvis digging for leads to other Rebel factions like the lying rat he is. >:(
Aaaaaand this is why Hera doesnāt tell the others anything, Ezraās so eager to believe Trayvis is an ally that heās just talking openly in front of him.Ā Disaster averted only because Ezra thinks the Ghost crew is literally all there is.
Subtle animation appreciation moment: The consistent wafts of air from the fan that blow Ezraās hair.
The sharp-eyed can tell that Hera adjusts something on her blaster moments before handing it to Trayvis.

EVERY SINGLE SHOT OF THE BETRAYED LOOK ON EZRAāS FACE HURTS ME PHYSICALLY AND PERSONALLY.

Bbbbyyyyyyyyyy. :((((((((((((
Heraās furious Mama Bear haymaker to Trayvisās face is... satisfying.
I love the sound Ezraās saber makes when itās turned on, it sound so unique to normal lightsaber ignitions.
And then thereās one last distorted iteration of the āShenanigansā cue and Ezraās death glare game continues to be on point.

Heraās turn to comfort Ezra this time, though Kananās flat, āI saw this bratty kid who constantly caused me trouble.ā gets a chuckle out of him first.
āShenanigansā comes back, properly in the woodwinds section and major key again to close us out.
Oof.Ā This episode isnāt one I particularly rewatch that often, since itās kind of a bummer.Ā Our potential ally turns out to be a fraud and a spy, all the work the crew has done only seeming to put bigger and bigger targets on their backs.Ā But this is a franchise about hope, about enduring until the dawn breaks, so our heroes escape to lick their wounds, regroup, encourage each other, and try again.
And next episode they make some big splashes.Ā Boy oh boy. :)

Good omens au for the wip game!
this one is more in the ideas stage then a few of my others but i kept accidentally writing Kalluzeb with a very season 2 Aziraphel and crowley vibes and this idea wouldn't leave. These are my notes i have on it so far.
The empire is heaven (since they have strict rules and blindly follow palpy) The rebellion is the underworld but they are mostly just trying to mind their own business. Zeb is Crowley, Kallus is Aziraphel (but like a little more of an arse) Luke is Adam and Ezra is Warlock Hera and Kanan are anathema and Newt The them are Leia, Han and Lando Artoo is the hell hound obviously Sabine is essentially Beelzebub and really should learn to knock. Ezra tags along for the main journey. Anakin is Lucifer but no ones scene him in years so heās presumed dead (heās actually been raising luke and leia with padame in the middle of nowhere and is 100 percent aware that hell is keeping an eye on the wrong kid) Obi-wan is a stand in for lucifer and has been running hell for years, trying to hide the fact that Anakin is MIA. Heās kinda salty about it. Thrawn is gabrial but doesnāt want to be. Eli is a messenger for both heaven and hell but doesnāt want to be. Pryce is Michel, but without the rank to back it up. Tarkin is here, I presume. Probably metattron or something. Hondo will presumably make an aperance, even though I have not invited him to this party.
Plot Starts the same as the book where the antichrist is handed to Zeb who takes it to the satanic church. As they arrive a blonde man that zeb gets the feeling heās met before is outside, but after he does the hand off and relays the encounter to Kallus he canāt recall anything notable about said man.
The two of them decide to co parent the anti christ with Zeb as a gardener and kallus as a nanny. If Ezraās parents assume their a couple not denying them is good for their cover.
The events follow the plot of the show, but also happen entirely different due to certain characters acting like their rebels counterparts. Like Ezra. Ezra will still be a lil snoop, getting involved in everyone's business. Heās extra sassy because Kallus did not teach him manners.

Things I love about Ahsoka Ep. 7: Dreams and Madness
Anakin making holo-recordings for Ahsoka.
All I see is Anakin making video diaries and tutorials for his little sister. We hadnāt hear him say it, but he absolutely loves her and cares a lot for her. The question now is, how the hell did she get hold of those holo-recordings? Also, we need to see all 20 of them. I also think she had probs shown it to Luke and Leia at some point.
Leia saves Hera.
Of course, Leia would save everyoneās ass from trouble. It has always been her thing. C-3PO's timing was perfect. Also, Senator Xiono can go fuck himself. Chopper ready to throw hands at a senator is icing on the cake. And if they translate what he said, the entire thing would probably be bleeped out.
Huyang is an Obi-Wan Kenobi droid version.
Huyang complaining about Ahsokaās reckless actions is so funny to me, honestly. In a way, she's being the Anakin to Huyang, being that Voice-of-Reason Obi-Wan persona to contradict to.
Thrawnās mini-heart attack when he finds out who Ahsokaās master was.
Thrawn, externally: *pokerface*
Thrawn, internally: What? No. That togruta bitch was trained by Anakin fucking Skywalker?! Omfg, this changes things.
So, a little background, Thrawn had always admired Anakin Skywalker and had worked alongside him since the clone wars, then as Darth Vader during the empire era. And to put it on modern terms, Thrawn was his biggest fan. He knows how powerful Anakin was and what he was capable of doing. So knowing that Anakin taught Ahsoka is information that could either make him or break him.
Ezraās reaction to Sabine telling her about Ahsoka taking her as her padawan.
His reaction is the most Ezra thing ever. Obviously, he didn't expected Ahsoka to take on Sabine as her padawan considering she isn't force-sensitive. And Ezra is literally all of us when when we first watched the show, btw.
Ahsoka and Sabineās Force bond.
Itās natural for the master and padawan to have a bond through the Force, regardless if jedi or sith. But with Sabineās lack of force-sensitivity, this was something I did not expect. But nevertheless, Iām extremely happy about it.
Ezra and Sabineās chaotic sibling energy.
We all know Ezra and Sabine go way back. Theyāve been friends for a long time, they radiate chaotic sibling energy (sorry, sabezra/ezrabine shippers), even to the point of arguing while fighting for their lives. It's good to see that some things haven't changed.
Ahsoka and Ezraās hug.
The last time these two met each other was in the World between Worlds, after Ezra saved Ahsoka from Darth Vader. Ahsoka had promised to find him when they get of there. But then again, they were at different points in time and Ezra disappeared with Thrawn to another galaxy. That makes this hug much more heartfelt and meaningful.
Ahsoka Tano of the Disaster Lineageā¢
⢠Unpredictable
⢠Reckless
⢠Purposely coming in late just to make a dramatic grand entrance and/or exit
⢠Never runs out of sassy comebacks when talking to the enemy
⢠Annoying the crap out of the people around them
⢠Has the signature troublemaker smirk š
⢠Expert lightsaber duelist
⢠Not following the no-attachment-rule
⢠Having good friendship with their padawans
Yep, she checks all the boxes and just further cements herself as part of the infamous Disaster Lineageā¢. Not to mention that she's indirectly teaching Sabine the same stuff. I can already hear Force Ghost Anakin cheering her on.
There are a lot of loose ends to tie in the season finale. Let's hope they'll give us an epic one and an interesting plotline for season 2.

The Force, the Jedi, and the power of Choice vs being Chosen
The Force in Star Wars is not like Magic that only Magical People Can do, and Everyone Else can't do. The world of Star Wars is not Jedi are superheroes while everyone else is powerless. It's more that Jedi are like highly talented athletes who have honed their skills as compared to non-athletes. Anyone can learn to swim, but not everyone is as strong a swimmer as Micheal Phelps because he's got a mix of the right genetics and a lot of work.
Everyone has the Force. Anyone can use the force, but not everyone is as strong a force user as Yoda.
For example, Jedi Kanan trained his adoptive daughter the Mandalorian Sabine Wren to use the Dark Saber in the hopes she could use the Saber to unite Mandalorians under her in rebellion against the Empire. Rather than letting her use the Dark Saber to train, he taught her the forms with bokken, despite teaching his own padawan, Ezra, with a live lightsaber. When his partner/Sabine's adoptive mother learns this she confronts him and this leads to Kanan clarifying something about the force.
Kanan: I'm being careful.
Hera: Were you careful with Ezra? I don't remember him fighting with a stick.
Kanan: Well, maybe I'm trying to do things differently this time.
Hera: Or maybe because she doesn't have the Force, you don't believe she can do this?
Kanan: No. The Force resides in all living things. But you have to be open to it. Sabine is blocked. Her mind is conflicted. She's so expressive and yet so tightly wound. She's so...
Hera: Mandalorian.
The Force resides in all living beings. It's not something some people have, and others don't have - everyone has the Force. The Force is not strong with everyone. Like swimming, it's a combination of genetics and practice.
Everyone in the Star Wars universe has Midi-chlorians which are like mitochondria but instead of being the powerhouse of the cell, they allow living beings to tap into the Force. Normal Human levels of 2,500 per cell to the much higher levels of Jedi. (The highest known midi-chlorian countāover 20,000 per cellābelonged to the Jedi Anakin Skywalker).
A Jedi having a high M-count is like a swimmer having long legs and arms, something you are both with that makes you naturally better. However, what you're born with isn't the only factor, it's practice and hard work.
When former Jedi Ahsoka refused to train the foundling Grogu she told his adoptive father, the Mandalorain Din Djarin, that because he is very powerful, but very traumatized and attached to Din, it is "Better to let his abilities fade."
Grogu has a high M count; he's naturally strong with the force, but his abilities will fade with time if he does not train and hone his talent. Just as someone with a good build for swimming won't become a great swimmer without practicing, without training and practice, someone with a high M count will not become a powerful force user.
The inverse is also true, and even if you do not have the innate ability/traits that make you at something, you can still train, practice, and work to get better.
Dave Filoni compared the Force to training in Martial Arts, anyone can train. "Will I be as good as Bruce Lee? No, that's not my talent." But you could still become better at Martial Arts that someone with no training, you can still be good enough to be black belt if you put the time and practice into it.
Sabine could learn to use the force well enough to wield a lightsaber by practicing being mindful of her feelings and open to connecting to the Force without being clouded by her internal conflicts. She thought Bo-Katan to use the Dark Saber. When Din Djarin got it he couldn't use it well it wasn't because he's not a force user, it's because he was fighting the weight of the Dark Saber, which was really the weight of his own feelings and conflicts (he doesn't want it, he's having a religious crisis, he misses his son). Learning to use the force is learning to connect and reach out with your feelings or in the case of the dark side channeling negative emotions towards your goal).
(George Lucus once compared the Force to Yoga, "like yoga ... everybody can do it. If you want to take the time to do it, you can do it; but the ones that really want to do it are the ones who are into that kind of thing." I wonder if the metaphor also says something about the spiritual aspect of the force, as Yoga is a holistic practice that focuses on creating a balance between the mind, body, and spirit.)
So, anyone can be trained to use the force, even if you have an average M count. It takes training and practice and is hard work. It might be harder for some than others. Apparently, Mandalorian Culture does not mesh well with being vulnerable about your feelings and open (their religion is literally wearing physical armor, so that makes sense).
However, the Jedi Order only accepted younglings who were very strong in the force. It was not worth the time to train average people since they were an order of elite warriors.
Huyang, a droid that instructed Younglings in Light Saber building, tells Sabine: I have known many Padawans over the centuries, and I can safely say your aptitude for the Force would fall short of them all.
Sabine likely did not have a high enough M-count to be recruited as a youngling even if she were tested (as Mandalorian worlds were not a part of the Republic, it's unlikely she was tested). Kanan immediately sensed how strong Ezra was in the force, but did not sense anything from Sabine. She's average, but can still train in the Jedi ways because "The Force resides in all living things."
Sabine is not one of the chosen few who are strong with the force, but she can still choose to learn the Jedi ways and fight. She may never be a very strong Jedi, but she can still do her best.

IN ANOTHER LIFE AU PLEASE AND THANK YOU I haven't read the original fic for this one (yet) but I loved Light hehehe
Excellent choice! I honestly had a hard time with these because some of my 'fun facts' just turned out to be major spoilers for the next work lol.
I actually thought up the name for the name change from 'POV: You get abducted by a cute boy and his insane family' because I thought of a name for the fifth and final part and then worked titles for the rest of them off that. So basically they're all going to be In Another Life (Insert something witty/emotional specific to that part in parentheses). Thinking up a new name plagued me for DAYS.
Ezra in this one has a little more maturity and is a lot stronger in the force soley to the fact that instead of starting his training at 14 he started at seven and had occasional training from Ahsoka as well.
On that note Ahsoka has major Cool Aunt⢠vibes which I am going to love playing around with. She teaches Ezra important Jedi stuff but also illegal stuff that Anakin taught her like how to hotwire a speeder when he was like nine (This stresses Kanan out to no end because he thinks he is way too young for those kind of shenanakins)
Now I MIGHT be wrong about this because SW timelines confuse me to no end however, (if I am correct) I had to kind of push Kanan and Hera's ages around a bit because Canonically Ezra's parents get taken the year before the evens of A New Dawn, and clearly Kanera had been working together for atleast a little while when they found him so I had to bump A New Dawn back a year and a half (two years?) and then make Hera two years older to put her back at eighteen, because putting a sixteen year old and a twenty year old in those situations makes me a little uncomfy honestly.
Ezra got really sick once when he was about ten, and in his fevered delirium he called Kanan 'dad'. He doesn't ever say it again, both because it makes him feel awkward and also he doesn't want to go on like Ephraim didn't exist because he still loves and misses his bioparents all the time. (this might be a oneshot one day but also this thoughts life may live and die soley in this post)
#thanks for the ask!#and also thanks for reminding me that I need to get back to work on this one lol#send me an au and i'll give five fun facts about it!#ezra bridger#kanan jarrus

Thoughts on Ahsoka Episode 7 - Dreams and Madness - A Discussion Post
This episode definitely included a lot of action and lighthearted moments, moving the story on for its near end. Let's look back at it!
(all screencaps from www.cap-that.com! https://www.cap-that.com/starwars/ahsoka/107/index.php?page=2)

Hera stands in front of a few New Republic senators and Chancellor Mon Mothma, trying to explain what happened and where Ahsoka Tano had gone, and how she left. As we know, Senator Xiono considers each of Hera's responses untrustworthy, and still does not believe Thrawn could return. Hera had said bluntly that she helped the New Republic "by ignoring you" straight to Xiono's face, as the senators fell into an embarrassed moment of silence. It was so funny how Mon Mothma was secretly smiling to herself before continuing on the trial.

C-3PO makes a surprise appearance at the trial, Anthony Daniels once again reprising his iconic role. Mon Mothma lets him in, as 3PO announces that he has a message from Senator Leia Organa. He tells the senators that Leia approved of Hera's mission, providing Hera with the access she needs to be free from the trial. Xiono had said that they can't trust a "mere droid", which 3PO took offense to, and Chopper was ready to fight from the seats.
Mon Mothma spoke to Hera one-on-one, not sure what her and Leia are up to, but is concerned about the situation. Mothma herself is unsure about Thrawn's return as well, but Hera knows that they have to be ready.

As the purgills continue to make their way through hyperspace, Ahsoka trains with her lightsabers in the training room on her ship. A hologram plays, showing Anakin Skywalker (in Clone Wars style) walking around and teaching Ahsoka another valuable lesson. He gives a few name drops such as Asajj Ventress, which really got me up to hear those names. Ahsoka connects and listens to her master, even if it's just a hologram. She said there was about 20 more recordings, and she has many of them. Everyone pointed out that she should show Luke these recordings, and I completely agree, as Luke can get to see his father for who he truly was before the Dark Side consumed him.

The purgills finally drop out of hyperspace, arriving at Peridea. With Ahsoka and Huyang still inside their purgill, they feel rocky bumps and hear explosions. A mine field had been set up around the planet, exploding near the purgills. Ahsoka and Huyang quickly made their escape out before the purgills jumped back into hyperspace to escape themselves. They soon get a few ships on their tail, navigating through the purgill graveyard to fly away from them.

While the Chimaera gets ready, Morgan provides Thrawn a record about Ahsoka Tano after he had asked for information last episode. He reads through it and sees that her master was Anakin Skywalker. The Anakin Skywalker, the one he met during the Clone Wars and had him go through a lot of chaotic plans. He looked at Morgan and asked her about that, his eyes looking wide and in surprise. I loved this nod to the Thrawn: Alliances novel, and Lars Mikkelsen portrays such a good reaction to this information. He definitely remembers all that Anakin made him go through, and wonders how Ahsoka is if her master was like that.

Ezra and Sabine travel through the bare plains with the Noti, helping them move to another spot. Along the way, Ezra gets a chance to catch up on all that he's missed over the years back in their galaxy, Sabine telling him a lot of information. She also mentioned Zeb, who is "training recruits". I'm so glad we finally got Zeb mentioned, and hopefully we can see him zoon (with Kallus too since Star Wars made it canon now). Ezraās reaction to Sabine now being Ahsokaās apprentice was hilarious. I wonder what she specifically told Ezra and if there was anything she left out. Like, did she tell him about Clan Wren? She could be quiet about it, and she is still being quiet on how she got here.

Hiding in the graveyard, Ahsoka sits back and connects to the Force, attempting to reach Sabine. Sabine feels something familiar, but is unsure.

Baylan and Shin continue to travel the plains, locating Ezra and Sabine, ready to go attack them. Baylan tells Shin to go ahead without him with the soldiers. She asks him, "You won't help?" She ends up leaving without her master to fight with the soldiers, wihout her master's help.

Ezra and Sabine fight Shin and the soldiers, protecting the Noti. Sabine fights with all her might with her blasters and Ezra's lightsabers, who had refused to take his back, saying "It's yours now." Ezra fights solely with the Force, taking everyone down with his powers. He fights Shin, holding her lightsaber back and bending the blade. Ezra seems to have grown stronger with the Force, especially since he hasn't had his lightsaber for years. Eman Esfandi was still perfectly radiating "Ezra energy" the entire episode, it's so good.

Ahsoka finally arrives in Peridea, still being chased by ships. Huyang navigates through the planet, avoiding the blasts. Ahsoka drops down from the plane, meeting up with Baylan and battling him. She eventually slides into the battle Ezra and Sabine are facing, and it was so dramatic, Anakin would be proud. Ezra looked so shocked, it was hilarious.

Ahsoka fights Shin, stopping mid-battle to reach out to her. She tells her, "I can help you." Baylan refused to help Shin, but Ahsoka is giving her help with open arms. I wonder what went through Shin's mind before she ran off.

Meanwhile, Thrawn explains to Morgan how he is preparing to leave Peridea as quickly as possible, leaving the others stranded here. Throughout the episode, Morgan kept on questioning his orders, which was just so funny the entire time. Thrawn just has to put up with her and is possibly wishing someone else he knew came to rescue him instead of her.
Also, I can't get over the height difference right here. Morgan looks so small next to him.

The episode ends on a very happy note with Ahsoka getting to reunite with Ezra. The trio is back together, and Ezra is still clueless on what exactly happened before either Sabine or Ahsoka found him.
The finale of Ahsoka is already next week. This week's episode seemed a bit way too lighthearted to me, so there's some things coming up next week that will probably shock us. I really hope the finale is long (like an hour or two or something). There's been a lot of content throughout these episodes, but there's still room for a whole lot more. Let's see what happens next week.

Random Asahna Headcanons and Facts

(but since itās an oc itās actually canon :P)
As a Padawan:
She has up pictures of Anakin, Obi Wan, and Madeline (my friend briās oc) on her walls and has definitely talked off Ahsokaās ear asking about what itās like to be Anakinās padawan.
Especially during the Clone Wars, I feel like padawans are much more rowdy and rebellious, so Iām definitely leaning into that with Asahna, especially with her best friend (if you make out with your friends) being Caleb Dume.
She and Cal met during one of her studious phases when she fell asleep in the library and Cal lightly nudges her awake. She immediately becomes fascinated with this shy, fiery haired boy. She hunts him down soon after and follows him around quite a bit, before introducing him to Caleb. She basically pleads with Caleb if āthey could keep himā.
As mentioned above, while nothing is specifically lined out in terms of romance, Asahna and Caleb sneak around in have kissing sessions throughout the temple. This all started when they ended up on their second mission together (after meeting on their first one) and they were the last two around the fire and just looking at stars. Asahna initiated itā¦
The little trio loves to sit by the fountain and read or relax once they have gotten back from their missions.
Asahna absolutely has a fascination with bugs which mostly dies out after the Geonsian brain worms. She still occasionally ventures to the nature area of the temple and likes to watch little beetles crawl up the trees.
Even at 15, she likes to hang around with younglings and teach them what Yoda allows. She has so much love for the future jedi, which is what leads her to meeting a 4 yr old Leysha.
Although she is a very rebellious padawan, she deeply respects her master and those who have helped raise her into who she is. She often goes and meditates with Yoda and seeks his counsel.
As a fugitive (about the next decade after Order 66):
She absolutely loves hot chocolate! She loves to brew up some for her and Leysha (the youngling she saved) while they sit on her bunk curled up with a soft blanket and a holonet show on. She loves to drink it late at night and first thing in the morning (a very tired asah below).
Asah makes sure that Leysha stays on the ship whenever she has to work a job. Whether that is meeting up with an informant or dropping off some smuggled weapons. This also means that she has stocked up on toys and things for Ley to do while she is left alone.
As much as Asahna claims that their mosswa (original creature, inspo down below), Gigi, is for Ley, she canāt deny how much love she has for the mossy mammal when it curls up on her shoulder when itās late at night and she is alone in the cockpit, piloting the DawnShredder (YT-2400) to a new planet.
Even though there are about 4 crew rooms on the DS and they each technically have their own rooms, Leysha and Asahna sleep in the same room and most nights, on the same bunk. Mostly due to Asahna wanting to be able to comfort Ley after nightmares.
She is certainly guarded and a much more hardened version of herself but for Leyshaās sake, she puts on a smile and makes sure to be what she had needed in the last 10 years for Ley.
As a rebel:
She meets up with an informant who happeneds to be Hera. Out of the two existing Ghost crew, she finds Hera more attractive in the beginning. The jet juice certainly makes Kanan look better.
She has the exact same coping skills as Kanan, aka being an alcoholic and a slut. Which is exactly how she meets Kanan⦠by getting drunk and hooking up with him.
That doesnāt stop her from stealing weapons from the Ghost (Kanan took her back to his cause she never brings men to the DS because she doesnāt want to disturb Ley).
Asahna and Kanan do not recognize each other and will not for a couple years.
Zeb is the first person that Asahna genuinely connects with. It was mostly due to the fact of trauma bonding and having to deal with watching your people die (she was at the temple during 66).
She constantly fights with Chopper as a way to release stress. Sure her and Kanan hook up to do that too but whatās more fun than yelling back and forth with a droid that happens to be a war criminal.
Asah never gives up the DawnShredder. It sits on lothal and from time to time, her and Ley sleep on it as a form of sleepovers. Which means that her and Ley bunk together on the Ghost which is alright because they had practically been doing that before joining the Ghost crew.
so yeah thatās the list i have for right now !! most of this came up on a whim cause i had like 3 but all of them really suit her lol

Ahsoka Show
So the first two episodes are out and I really enjoyed them, they are mostly what I expected from Filoni, he“s translating well his narrative style from cartoons to live action.
That said my favorite characters so far appart from Ahsoka herself have been Sabine and Baylan, all the characters get a good treatment, I really liked Hera serving as a bridge between Sabine and Ahsoka and listening to both of them. I also loved Baylan mystery and his relationship with his own apprentice, I get the sense his story as an adversary is going to be the main one here before we get to the Thrawn of it all.
Baylan doesn“t consider himself a Jedi anymore but he“s definitely teaching his apprentice some Jedi traditions, he doesnt seem fallen into the darkside but he definitely became dissapointed in the Jedi Order and their ways, he“s a real mercenary and also he totally knows exactly what happened to Anakin and probably expects to be able to serve as a Darth Vader like figure for the new Empire, just for Thrawn instead of the Emperor.
Power may be one of his reasons but given there“s a theory around saying Thrawn supporters within the Empire are opposing those who are already trying to bring back the Emperor, my guess is that he also wants to be part of the Empire, just one that isn“t neccesarily ran by the Sith Order and Palpatine which would give him a lot of nuance.
Sabine makes me remember one of the more interesting tropes from most animes, which I guess Filoni is taking a clue from, about characters with no natural habilities, those who are no prodigies and get a lot of hate over it, who instead suffer a lot to do half what other characters do easily, that they become a sheer force of nature given their sheer effort/training and will, not natural or hereditary talent. The series is too short to give us the whole journey but I am seeing some of that with Sabine who is force sensitive enough to be trained, just not enough to move objects or other things or maybe her force talent translate into articulating art. Her feelings of passive -agressiveness with Ahsoka are on point given their past but she really wants to get Ahsoka respect and trust back and is willing to work for it.
PD: Now I am just waiting confirmation for Han Solo to also be like Sabine because honestly, he would not have survived half the things that happened to him in the original trilogy if he wasn“t slighty force sensitive. XD
Now Ahsoka is great, I really liked her, liked the fact she wasn“t perfect she doesn“t know how to comunicate with Sabine, she expects too much out of someone she apparently abandoned at some point, she lost her battle with the inquisitor(Who I am still hoping for confirmation that he is in fact Galen Marek, Vader“s apprentice, Vader“s vs Anakin“s apprentices going to battle just ryhmes ) but more than that Ahsoka is still hurting over Anakin and isn“t that interesting? after Malachor I totally would have accepted her to be resentful, wanting to focus on Ezra rescue and forgot everything about Anakin being her former master, in fact that seemed to be her way of thinking in the Mandalorian, when she refused to train Grogu because he made her remember Anakin too much.
But then there“s how she calls Luke "MASTER SKYWALKER" while she considers herself as someone who didn“t got to complete her Jedi training, despite the fact she has decades of traning over Luke and actually lived in the old Jedi temple, so my guess is that she isn“t calling him a Master just because of his force hability, she is calling him a master Jedi because Luke, not her, was able to bring back Anakin back from the darkside, something even master Yoda thought was completely impossible and how happy that must make her but how much this has to hurt that she“s on equal ways being warm and passive agressive with Luke and his new Jedi Order, on the one hand she visits the new school, smiles at Luke and at Grogu but doesn“t stay, she sends Grogu to Luke to be trained but tells her Jedi Droid the Order is over. It“s so subtle but there the feelings she must strongly be suppresing over Luke and his relationship with his father, her former master.
She has an enormous respect for Luke but also her hurt feelings and resentment mean she“s avoiding him because she absolutely knows he doesn“t deserve them, him who grew up without his father and only managed to truly be with him for a few minutes while Ahsoka had years of interactions with Anakin but those feelings are still there anyway.
And this brings me to her being so nostalgic over Anakin again, I have no doubt Luke told her the truth, not the official one the New Republic is using, he told her Anakin defeated the Emperor out of love for him, because Luke bet his life in his father goodness, because he let go of what the Old Jedi called "their life" his lightsaber, on the bet that his father would save him because he knew there was good in him, because he knew his father loved him, he told Ahsoka just like he did with Leia and while this fact makes Ahsoka happy it also makes her feel so sad, so guilty, she doens“t regret leaving Anakin or the Jedi Order, as she told Hera, that still was the right decision for her at the time but she regrets her leaving may have lead to Anakin becoming even more isolated and probably was the reason why he fell to the darkside, that and the fact that when Anakin was so eager to talk to her again, she was too busy dealing with Mandalore to truly talk with him about them. She knows it isn“t her fault but she can“t help but ask herself, why wasn“t I able to bring you back Anakin? I also loved you.
So my guess is that this story is going to be Ahsoka confronting Anakin again, post ROTJ which is bassically my dream come true but also she“s going to confront her master "other" apprentice who may or not may have some very interesting unfinished bussines and feelings over Vader and how he died if he is indeed the canon version of Starkiller.
