Adam su karşılığı benimle olmak istedi, reddedecek oldum, gözümün önüne kızımın perişan hali geldi. Kabul ettim. Sabaha karşı eve dönerken ellerimde 2 bidon temiz su vardı. Eve gidip suyu kızıma içirdigimde 'anne bu hayatımda içtiğim su!' deyip boynuma sarıldı, o halini hiç unutmam... Kuraklık uzun sürdü. 1 yudum su için bu adamın yatağını defalarca ısıttım. En sonunda tak etti, madem kızım için bunu yapıyorsam daha iyi bir hayatı plsun diye yapayım dedim ve şehre gelip burada çalışmaya başladım... "Kızın köyde mı kaldı?" diye sordu Hakan. "Hayır, koridorun sonundaki odada uyuyor, onu hiç bulaştırmadim bu pisliğe "dedi kadın. Gözlerinden kopup düşen 1 damla yaş; göğüslerinin arasına damlayıp sessizce kayboldu... O gece Hakan kadının dudağının kenarına küçük bir buse kondurdu ve bu buse büyük bir sevişmeye dönüştü. Ne kadın para için sevişiyordu o gece, ne de Hakan rahatlatmak için erkekliğini... 47 gün sonra... Hakan eve en az 10 günde 1 gelir gider olmuştu. Kadınla sohbet edip, sevişip, sabaha karşı çıkıp üsse dönüyordu. Bir gece; alışılagelmiş sevişme sonrası sohbetlerinden birini yaparken, koridorun sonundaki odadan bir çığlık sesi geldi. Kadın "Dilvin!" diye haykırıp yarı çıplak odadan fırladı. Koridorun sonundaki odanın kapısını açmaya çalıştı, yapamayınca yumruklamaya başladı... Odanın kapısı açıldı... İçerden; kıyafetlerini düzeltmeye çalışırken, dudağının kenarındaki sigarasından derin bir nefes çeken Albay Brown çıkıyordu. Hakan koridorda öylece durmuş, durumu anlamaya çalışıyordu.  Odaya bir göz attı. Odanın köşesinde, başını dizlerine dayamış hüngür hüngür ağlayan 13-14 yaşlarında bir kız çocuğu vardı. Yatağın dağınıklığı, kizin kıyafetlerindeki yırtıklar ve yataktaki küçük kırmızı leke içeride az önce olan şeyi fazlasıyla açıklıyordu... Albay, koridora çıktı. Kemerinin tokasını takarken Hakan'a sırıtarak göz kırptı ve yanından geçip gitti. Kadın, çoktan kızının yanına girmiş ve sakinleşmesi için sarılıp teselli etmeye, öpüp okşamaya başlamıştı. Hakan kıza baktı, Hakan kadına baktı, yanından geçip gitmis ve hala koridorda ilerlemekte olan Albay'ın göz kırpma görüntüsü aklıma gelip bir şimşek gibi çaktı beyninde. Elini belindeki Sarsılmaz Kılınç 2000 model silahına gitti. "Hey Albay!" diye seslendi. "Ne var Türk?" diye alaycı bir sesle, arkasına bile bakmadan cevap verdi Albay. Nuket-ül Hams'ın kenar mahallelerindeki masaj salonundan, evrene 1 el silah sesi yayıldı...

Gloria is survived by her parents, her husband, Julio Cesar Barrientos her sons: Michael-Aidan James Suarez (18), Jeremiah Suarez (14), her daughter: Isis-Alizae Barrientos (7), her sisters: Virginia Bravo, Mary-Ann Longoria, Clara Castillo (Daniel), Estella Castillo (Luis), her brothers: Mike Castro Jr. Gloria is preceded by death by her maternal grandparents: Neniceo Mercado and Juanita Mercado, her paternal grandparents: Juana Gutierrez and Jose Castillo, her niece Micaela Evangelina Castro, and her uncle Jimmy Longoria, sisters Josie Castro and Virginia Castro. Gloria had an affinity for traveling and was fortunate enough to take one last trip to Greece and Italy shortly before her death along with her eldest son, Michael-Aidan, where they spent a blissful two weeks together. Apart from being a dedicated wife, she was a devoted daughter to her elderly parents and lived for the well-being of her three children whom she loved with all her heart. She married Julio Cesar Barrientos on Valentine’s Day of 2015. Gloria's perseverance led her to receive her Associates of Applied Science in Accounting from Austin Community College earlier this year. Gloria believed in the power of higher education and decided to go back to college to set that example for her children. She was a graduate of San Marcos High School in 2001. Gloria was born in San Marcos, Texas to Anita and Filemon Castillo on October 2nd, 1982. Gloria Castillo-Barrientos, 39, of San Marcos, Texas unexpectedly passed away on Jin San Marcos, Texas.
