2) ok. The work is more than RG imagined (odd since we only see Izu in the medical ala) why not ask help to others healer users?

If we go to "RG is the only one in all Japan who has such quirk " well, AM has good relations with the US...why not ask for more healers from them?

Which can make me think how people would react if AM protects foreigns. Japan is not know to be very open mind in this regards (to be fair, many countries fall to this too) and like this alone could serve as a good commentary. Healers from another country doing their jobs but people like Redestro and maybe Nighteye are looking down on them "not japanese enough"

Honestly, as Recovery Girl's power uses the patients own energy to accelerate their healing there's no reason why it should be hard for her to be a healer even in her old age.

However what is a problem is that she is shown to be the only healer to an ENTIRE SCHOOL! Wtf Hori?

Let's go through your ideas because you have good ones here;

1) To paraphrase - Why didn't super smart Nedzu think to organise a whole team of assistants for Recovery Girl? Or even make a MediRobot to assist her? - Oh indeed why not. Well, because Hori says no technically. I can't imagine Recovery Girl refusing the help (unless she's a bit like Aizawa and instead is trigger happy with firing her assistants? Maybe?) So in which case why not a robot to help her? Nedzu has the money and should have utilised it here. Hori says no and is too lazy to give Recovery Girl focus beyond her handful of scenes (most of which make her look like an ass.)

2) Why not ask for help from other healers? Again another plot hole! She should have! And if AM brought in a lot of American healers, it could actually influence this version of MHA's society to be more tolerant of other cultures but I could still see Redestro and Nighteye acting that way.

3) If Japan has other healers why ask Recovery Girl who doesn't like her job? Maybe she's the best healer? Maybe she's the only person who got a hero licence to use her quirk as a Doctor? Maybe, Maybe, Maybe. Either way there could have and should have been better people to fill the role, how resentful RG was to heal Izuku always rubbed me wrong. (Imagine how many abuse victims came under her care and were berated for 'being clumsy' 'hurting themselves' or 'being accident prone,' when really they were being hurt at home and that was the excuse they provided her.)

I wish instead of Recovery Girl, we had a team of Medi-Bots led by Todoroki Natsuo because I loved the headcanon that had been floating around of him training to be Doctor. And it would have brought the other Todosibs more in focus.

the vulture culture part started when they were young. his interest started when he saw a documentary on how to pin butterflies and he was like, “you know what? thats actually something i want to do!” but! BUT!! he cannot catch a butterfly, thus he settled for mounting dragonflies which he collected in the nearby stream (where katsuki fell).

fun fact about mounting dragonflies: they lose colours when they’re dead. you can use acetone to not only help preserve its colours, but also to stop its decay. they decay so quickly, it’s terrible.

anyways, izuku does not know that and instead followed a youtube video of how to mount dragonflies, using an old picture frame as the case.

inko comes home, sees his son doing his stuff and is just happy that izuku’s not rewatching that loud all might video. she helps him pin the other wings and they are fascinated at how pretty they look. well, the next day, the wings are now transparent and the belly side of the dragonflies are black. it also stinks so they had to throw the whole thing plus the case.

izuku’s fascination grows from there.

a failed experiment, after all, instigates the desire to right them.

so that’s where he starts: butterflies, moths, beetles, another dragonfly case.

katsuki is fascinated and disgusted because, “why would you want dead insects in your room, deku?”

the rest began when the bakugou’s and the midoriya’s have road trips. inko doesn’t have a car so the bakugou’s drive along with them, and it’s a good day. the kids are having fun and getting along, and the parents are chilling and enjoying their vacation. life is good.

then on their drive home, izuku, who is sitting sandwiched between katsuki and inko, lets out this blood-curdling scream. it wakes katsuki up and almost had masaru swerving the car out of the highway.

“maru-san (because my boy izuku cannot say masaru) can you please stop the car! i wanna get that!” he screams, pointing at something indecipherable by the side of the roads.

masaru does anyways because it’s so rare for izuku to request something, but also his heart’s still pumping so fast after izuku’s scream.

masaru wasn’t even done stopping the engine when the car doors are opening, and katsuki and izuku are tumbling out, hand-in-hand. masaru and inko follow them closely, while mitsuki stayed to watch over the car.

katsuki’s excited for an adventure, but then izuku just. stops them. in front of a skull.

masaru chokes from behind them and katsuki lets go of izuku’s hand so fast, running back to his dad because, again, “deku what the shit?”

izuku ignores him and gestures at the deer skull, one that has moss growing by the teeth and around the jaw, turning to inko to ask, “mama? can we bring that home?”

masaru feels very faint, but doesn’t say anything when inko easily agrees, laughing at her boy and patting his untameable hair as if your child asking you for a carcass’s skull is normal.

inko picks it up and they go back to the car. mitsuki does a double-take on what inko’s holding, but shushes up when she saw izuku bouncing happily. katsuki hesitantly sits beside izuku, but when izuku began yammering about all might, he forgets about the skull and nerds out with izuku.

inko explains to mitsuki and masaru about her son’s newfound interest, telling them that it’d go away in two years, don’t worry.

it didn’t. instead, his interest and his collection grew. so for his subsequent birthdays, along with hero merch, he has vulture culture collections gifted to him.

when he moved to the dorms, they’re more packaged than his hero merch and katsuki wants to get angry because he’s been looking for those limited hero merch and yet there they are, chilling beside izuku’s many many skulls and bones.

IZUKU STARTED COLLECTING THE ALL MIGHT HAWAIIAN SHIRTS WHEN HE WAS TWELVE

he ransacked for the very first edition, often saving his allowance just so he can buy the retro versions of the all might hawaiian shirts. sometimes he’d barter, but that’s only when he’s really desperate for the shirts. usually he’d just be in an auction site and buy just those.

he’d take katsuki with him and katsuki is very careful in what to buy, often researching the things and having a very long pros and cons list to narrow down what he’d buy, then his best bud izuku just out there buying all might hawaiian shirts.

funniest thing too is that those are the first to go because they? don’t value much? and they’re ugly, tbh, and yet izuku’s slurping them all up.

he has other plushies that have normal names (well, as normal as naming a plushie “cheese grater”), but he has a collection of specific plushies that align with lovecraft beings.

he only writes them because he doesn’t want other heroes with all might, but also the reader pairing gets more views than all might with other heroes.

katsuki caught him writing a slowburn, enemies to lovers all might x reader fanfic and proceeded to proofread it for him.

synopsis of the fanfiction: reader is a villain with a sound quirk (tailored to present mic’s quirk) and all might met them in a hero gala where the reader pretended to be a worker so that they could infiltrate the gala’s holder’s office for a specific banking access that is linked to the world’s bank. all might manages to sniff them out and proceeds to fight them, but when a beam is about to hit the reader, all might swoops in and saves them. cue the reader developing unwanted feelings for their greatest foe, all might.

aND THEN!!! all might knows the reader outside of their villain persona and is actually very much taken by them. so it’s a painful surprise that the reader is a villain. but he is willing to save them.

it is still incomplete despite having 102 chapters. by chapter 78, katsuki asked for payment because shit was too long and too angsty.

shouto, when they became friends, sends a box of them to izuku because he thought that those are izuku’s favourite. katsuki had not stopped cackling when he saw the huge box of them.

to punish katsuki, he made a furby with worm hair and left it by katsuki’s door. katsuki’s scream woke everyone up.

his first women hero cosplay was in third grade when they had a play about different heroes. the girl who was playing ragdoll got sick and everyone’s already strapped in as their hero and unwilling to change. izuku, himself, is present mic (katsuki’s all might).

their teacher agrees and helps him strap in as ragdoll and you know what, izuku loves it.

from then on, he tries to cosplay as much women heroes that he can afford. inko loves helping him and katsuki thinks he is adorable but! dont tell deku!!!

OK BUT he wore the dress that broke the internet once and katsuki almost exploded the dress off him. almost because izuku dodged and warned him that if he ever breaks that dress, katsuki will have to pay (either monetary or revenge, katsuki doesn’t know so he behaved).

i dont know how to explain it but my friend has this specific book about poisons, detailing recipes and ingredients.

it also talks about the use of frogs, lizards, snakes. the benefits of different flowers (ones with toxins) and how to use them during tea time.

it’s bizarre but the book looks pretty so i think izuku would have a handful of those in his room.

and yk katsuki sees those and thinks that it’s so weird that izuku has those posters but not all might?

his first thought was, “he doesn’t like all might as much as i do.”

the following one is, “he’s straight so he doesn’t want a guy’s face on his wall.”

katsuki’s mouth so happens to say the second one and the next week he visited izuku’s room again, each surface of the wall that is not taken by pinned insects and his frog-book stuff, plus his other existing non-hero posters, is covered in just all might posters.

he belatedly realizes that his own face is also on izuku’s wall, but that’s for later musings because for now he’s jealous that izuku managed to scourge the limited all might posters, but also is disgusted a bit because that’s too much all might.

katsuki walks out before his interest in all might plummets.

now, you two were leaning in, about to kiss

and then a voice from behind interrupts 

“uh, am i interrupting something?”

you two let out the ugliest squeal and jump 50 feet away from each other 

you’re all over the place, trying to explain the situation

tamaki’s heart is barely beating at this point

it takes the kid, who looks about 16, about thirty minutes to calm you down and revive tamaki

explains that he’s from the future and a descendant of tamaki’s family

decides to leave out that you two are his parents so he doesn't risk possibly erasing himself from the space continuum 

that would be bad

despite how surprised you two were, you two take it rather well 

you three spend the day together bc you and tamaki feel this weird sense of responsibility for the guy even though he’s only two years younger

the boy is trying his hardest not to expose himself, but it’s so hard

you two are asking him everything from his favorite food to if he has any siblings

he’s good at pretending that he’s cool, calm, and collected, but he wants nothing more than to jump into his parents’ arms and cry about how scared he is of messing up

but he won’t

but he slips up

“how far are you down the future?” tamaki asks

“uh, about like 100 years or so--”

the kid nearly chokes on his food as his father blinks at him

bakugo finally understood when his mom said

he regretted being such a demon bc his kid was literally the spawn of satan

katsuki didn’t need an explanation to know that that...thing was his kid

he looked damn near identical to him with features that he couldn't quite place

but anyways, that wasn't the focus rn

rn, he was trying to figure out a way to keep that animal caged

as soon as katsuki took his eyes off him, the six yr old ran out the door as fast as his little legs could carry him

he watches you run towards the child who’s trying his hardest not to cry

the boy holds his head, fat tears in his eyes as you pick him up and coddle over him

Niall and Louis both got worked up and wordy about football on twitter as the season wraps up dramatically. Niall, really leaning into the ‘dramatic’ part of that, tweeted his beloved Derby “I’ll always love you even though you’ve broken my heart since the day I was born,” memed himself-- “do it for him” over a wee baby Niall at a Derby game- AND added “barely slept with nerves” and wished the team luck before their game, which was expected to result in them being knocked down to a lower division for next season after a rough year. But they hung onto their spot by their fingernails, to Niall’s joy- “I’ve never experienced anything like that in my life. The most intense 90 mins ever,” he rhapsodized and went into detail about the game (and then bro-ed out a bit with Piers Morgan, gross). With that emotional journey out of the way (after he seriously assured us that his football tweets were in no way sarcastic) he moved on to jokes with/ at the fans, imitating people who would like to know wtf is going on with the Anne-Marie collab he’s been actively teasing since January and talking about longer than that. Anne Marie posted a montage of tweets asking wtf is going on and Niall chimed in, “WHAT IS HAPPENING? are they actually going to collab?”  WELL EXCUUUSE US for having some QUESTIONS when you say it’s happening for MONTHS but it never actually comes out!

Louis also had things to say about football, joining the accolades for player James Coppinger as he prepares to retire after 16 years with Doncaster (!!) following their last match of the season tomorrow. “Just want to say a massive congratulations and a massive thank you for everything you've done for the club. A true professional and forever a Donny legend!” says Louis, and “enjoy tomorrow mate!” “Thank you mate,” said Coppinger.

Shinichi discovers the old Kid files of his dad and takes a deep dive into it, Kaito learns from his mom about the friend toichi used to have who writes *scoff* about detectives. He can't really understand why and does some research, comes to the critic solution but also, that being a critic himself might actually help him because he is looking at his tricks from a more logically point.

He isn't really a murder solving Detective but he does get confronted with it.

Shinichi meanwhile tries to figure out the misters to KID and why he vanished and noticed when there is talking about the new "KID" so of course he checks it out. Maybe because Kaito doesn't confront he is like there when the dudes confront jii-san and hears and helps him?

Kaito is on a date with aoko when he noticed the suspicious dudes. Because if his career as a magician the case is solved easily (it always it the murder and Motiv are the harder part for him but usually he quickly figures out who becuas he can read people well)

Shinichi is in ua and oh no it's 1a, so he is scouting things trying to puzzle out how to get back, Kaito is suffering kids school it's boring, he tends to sneak out if he can, and go to the library or scout the city. He also is the one that does the most history research after the crash curse for the exam because he has more time... Kaito thinks shinichi should still do heist so he doesn't get rusty, shinichi calls him insane, he does kinda small stuff tho. People are confused about his returning but we'll he has to build a character jow, before he could ride on the old one. Though hero and police with quirks are harder but also easier.

Shinichi is now way better at being Kid and to create allibies (even if they don't need) they switch the role sometimes (kaito has to hold himself back so much hut shinichi also has to be a it more outgoing jow) so happy ending overall yay

The first part is fun, though I feel like they'd still fight for the stupidest reason, but have secret alliance meeting where they feed the cats behind the school and refuses to mention it at any other time. Secret truce. Only aggreeing for the sake of the cats.

Second part! Where all the fun is! I love reluctant detective Kaito. He's not so much a detective as he simply keep stumbling into it. I was like wait that sounds familiar and it reminded me of the accidental kidswap au. Which Im pretty sure I don't have a tag for, but basically Kaito and Shinichi got swapped at birth, but Genetics(tm) mean Kaito still wants to be a magician, Shinichi still wants to be a detective.

Then Kaito stumble upon the Black Organisation, and Shinichi finds out his dad was murdered.

I like the MHA twist especially with Shinichi trying to preserve his identity by disguising himself as teen!Kaito, while de-aged Kaito keep calling him out on his disguises skills (also just the idea of Shinichi hiding by disguising himself as Kaito is so funny to me I don't even know why). I feel like Kaito can totally lie and say his quirk make him looks like a 6yo, unless he wanna hide the fact he's a teenager to Shinichi. Which is just unecessarily convoluted but so funny, because Shinichi has his own doubts about it. They're both hiding their secret identity and having their own suspicions about the other and it ends up a game of does he know that i know that he knows that i know.

Kaito befriending the LoV! Could be so much fun if done well! Though I feel like if it's after they've turned to murder he really wouldn't approve? It's be a fight between murder bad and society made them like this (which is, huge MHA plot point) and would be very interesting in term of Character Development for Kaito as well tbh.

The way I could see it would be:

- Shinichi liked mysteries. Love them. But at some point he realised he loved creating mysteries even more, but not in the way his father does by writing book. And then, he stumble upon the First KID (so when Shinichi is still young, like 7) and realises that, yes, this is what he wants. Yukiko teaches him acting and disguises here, Yusaku teaches him how to create mysteries, and Shinichi teach himself how to magic.

- Kaito loved seeing his dad tricks, and loved even more finding how they worked. He knows how to replicate them from slowly unraveling how they work. Sometimes Nakamori tells him about cases at work that stumps even the more hard-working officer, and Kaito loves trying to solve them as if they were puzzles. He somehow build himself a reputation as a teen detective.

- When Shinichi hears KID is coming back, of course he goes to see it! And it doesnt take him long to realise, this is not KID. This is what leads to him finding out the truth, and later taking the mantle of KID.

- At Tropical Land, it didn't take long for Kaito to understand how that person died on the rollercoaster. Gin & Vodka finding an opportunity to "take him out" was only pure luck.

- Shinichi hides it from Ran and everyone else, like canon. But Ran has her own suspicions, and Shinichi can never agree with Sonoko for why KID is great.

- Kaito tried to hide his new state at first. Except the lack of support system means that Aoko and Nakamori finds out very quickly. (He called his mom first, who asked Nakamori to "look after her nephew", except Kaito wasn't aware of the cover story and Nakamori hasn't chased after KID for so long to not realise when something is afoot.)

- Shenanigans. At some point Nakamori has to drag Kaito to a KID heist.

(At this point, Kaito still doesn't know his dad used to be Kaitou KID. Shinichi also doesn't know the first KID used to have a son.)

Around this point (they're familiar with each other, but don't know each other's secret) Akako does Magic Fuckery and they end up in MHA world I guess?

- Shinichi disguises as "someone who could be Kaito's relative", not realising he looks exactly like Kaito teenage form. He pretends they're brother, and Kaito hates it.

- Whatever lead they got leads them to UA? Everything happens there. Shinichi somehow manages to become a Gen Ed Student, Kaito is too young (because Shinichi didn't let him pretend to be a high schooler, no matter how mature he is).

- Kaito "runs away", and ends up being the LoV's problem I guess.

I'm honestly not sure how I'd build up their adventure in MHA-verse tbh but there sure is a lot of shenanigans and heart to heart talks.

I mean OMG finally. I mean, I guess some fans might not have figured it out already, but you’d have to be pretty out of the loop not to basically know all this already. This is exactly the way I wanted this shit to go down, BTW. The only missing party member here is Hawks but he already knew anyway. But yeah, everyone knows now. I wanted Dabi to somehow broadcast this reveal, and he did! Now the whole world knows. Endeav’s screwed, and Shoto got to find out first hand. Like yes. It was just perfect. We waited so long and it was sooooo worth it. Let that fallout come. This is the devastation we were hoping for. Let’s face it, the heroes getting beaten in a battle by the League wouldn’t have nearly this kind of impact. This is really going to be the end (for a while, anyway, till the UA kids revitalize it) of heroism as we know it. We held on for a while, but it’s all over now.

Tbh I’m not really happy with where we are in the bnha manga right now. I can see how we got here and the necessity for certain actions, but I’m still not happy with them. There is a reason why other stories usually introduce a down-time with a nice training arc or something, after a huge fight which changed the flow of the plot.

Bnha went from an all out war to a place that’s just one step better than the worst case scenario (which would be losing one of the main cast or ofa). And then went right ahead and threw Deku into hunting season. Deku got no down-time, which will only have a negative impact on his mental health and goes on to prove his own stupid conviction: it’s alright for him to suffer as long as he can save everyone else and be useful. He probably doesn’t even realise the toll it has on him.

And everyone just lets it happen. I don’t care that he’s in constant exchange with the pro-heroes. He should have at least one hero with him or shadowing him at all times, who can actually fight. Sure, no other kid should be dragged into this mess so the distance from ua makes sense, but Deku is a kid, too.

On one hand, I understand afo chasing after him as the burden that naturally comes with accepting ofa but this was not disclosed to him before he accepted the quirk (not like he would have refused it anyway.) Now that more heroes know the importance of him for this “war,” they really should ensure his safety at all costs.

I also find it quite ironic that Deku wanted to be a hero to save people but ended up with a quirk where he literally needs to win to survive and the saving comes as a convenient side hustle.

This whole situation also impacts the other kids negatively. They just got out of a life and death situation, lost one of their teachers, only to find out that one of their own left to protect them and is in danger right now.

Don’t even let me start on why Bakugou’s reaction to this mess hasn’t even been hinted at. He, probably more than anyone else, really hates the thought of Deku leaving to protect them/him. Not when he just risked his life to throw Deku out of exactly this weird mindset of running right into danger all alone. 

Also wtf, Deku. This body literally wants to know where Shigaraki and Afo are to haunt them down. No. Down boy. Calm your damn horses and sit back for a moment. You can’t just brute-force your way through danger. Honestly, this is behaviour I would have expected from someone like how Bakugou in season one was portrayed. How is Deku so prone to bullshit?

Maybe this is why his and Bakugou’s relationship needed to be mended. Someone needs to call him out on his bullshit and apparently Bakugou is the only one with half a brain.
