Impressive. Promoted on Craigslist as an “Artist's Loft” in New York City. Note the plywood flooring and the cinder block & particle board bench. They classed it up by adding some wood planks as shelving and the drywall has squares cut out so you can reach the valves on the water pipes. $800 mo.

Inktober day 10: Fortune

After yesterday's frustrating picture, I decided to keep this one as simple as I could. These are two of my oldest OCs! Raatsel on the left was made in 2014, and Devil on the right was made in 2016. They weren't initially paired together, but they sort of drifted towards each other as the universe they were initially apart of faded away. I don't draw them as often as I once did, but they still float around in my head.

Chekana Blawania

A legendary flower said to grow in the heart of Crescent Minoria. On some days, only the white petals are visible. On others, only the black petals are visible. It is thought to have similar properties to that of the Koshio flower, with a salty and spicy center. This has yet to be proven, however.

Artist's Loft Colored Pencils Review

Sometimes the clearance rack is filled with discounted treasures you might never have been able to afford otherwise. Other times... well, there's a reason they were put there. Artist's Loft, the Micheal's Store Brand of art supplies.... well, I personally think there's a reason why there's a reason it's not held in terribly high regard. 

My advice, stick with Crayola for affordable colored pencils. 

With that being said, there are still several Artist's Loft products that I need to test out.

Loft's Tunic

The finished product! Loft is a Link from @bonus-links by @ezdotjpg. The weaving process is detailed here for the alpaca overtunic. The undertunic was hand sewed in linen, and the amber necklace is hemp. Pleated pants were from a past project. Sadly, I do not own a Goddess Harp, so a Turkish lyre will have to do.

Apparently, SoHo (although it wasn't called that at the time) was a haven for artists as early as 1941, when this picture was taken. The painter is Yasuo Kuniyoshi (1889-1953), a modernist who also painted murals in the women's restrooms in Radio City Music Hall. Although he had lived in the U.S. since 1905, the government classified him as an enemy alien after Pearl Harbor. He was not interned as other Japanese-Americans were, but his bank account was frozen, his travel restricted, and he was prohibited from owning a camera or binoculars. Nonetheless, he created drawings for the American wartime propaganda effort. In 1948 he was the first living artist to receive a retrospective at the Whitney Museum.

I've been lucky to try some good quality watercolors in my life, and don't get me wrong there's definitely benefits to them, but I always come crawling back to my damn Artist Loft watercolors. kisses my pallet

Radiana Waterina

Rainwater gathers in its small, clear blossoms. The buds within their them glow faint blue at certain times of year. It is said to gather energy from the moon and stars and condense it into liquid form, storing it in the cup formed by its petals.

A close relative of the Radiana Kandia, it can be found on both continental Fuline Ah and Reline Ah, as well as their islands.
