So, I said this before that I’m not going to respond what Artistissues said about me, on my deviantart profile. And I’m still not. But I have noticed that she made this post titled “Block Standalonework “, and literally showing my recent comic. And it looks like she’s not gonna post anything else, until it gets 1k views or higher.

Again, I am not gonna respond to this petty shit. I will say this though: it’s immature shit like this that gives fandoms a bad name. And all over a comic strip!

Doverstar UPDATE: Arti is very rarely available to respond to questions these days (new job keeps her very, very busy), so please note that questions about the Experiments in general, especially about her fanmade Experiments as well as 621's arc and anything about him will probably go unanswered for much longer than questions that are not about those things! I will not be answering questions about that half of the story without her input, and she can't answer them as quickly as I can answer these days. Just bear that in mind! :)

and for my first ever post to the blog, have a set of Leroy clones!
Since Jumba never really perfected his cloning technology (and they were cloned in his lab, after all) none of the Leroy-clones are quite as smart or strong as the original Leroy. But after being shut down in the Battle at the Coliseum, none of the Leroy-clones were ever the same. Less focused and more ditzy. The type to groove to “Jailhouse Rock” when they could be stewing in their cells, plotting revenge.
These four managed to escape in the Stitch & Ani headcanon, when 621’s group came to bust out the Original Leroy. Shorts and Bushy both had run-ins with Clip, and thanks to Aloha Oe shutting them down, the were unable to grow their fur back correctly. Bibi is one of the three clones who ran afoul of Babyfier, and since Experiments don’t age and he doesn’t have access to Jumba’s antidote, he’s stuck as a baby. And Splotch, in an attempt to get Angel off her guard in battle, was shut down right in the middle of shifting his colors to look like Stitch. Now his fur is stuck in a tie-dyed bluish mottling. All four find work with a certain intergalactic criminal, Dr. Habbitrale, as henchmen, while Gantu and his Task Force hunt them across the stars!

What kind of tactics do 621 and those following him use? I'm guessing they keep a low profile at first and act with a bit of secrecy, but what about once they're known? Do they ENGAGE IN EPIC BATTLE like Splodyhead and Slushy once did, or are they more hit-and-run?
ArtistIssues They are more hit-and-run, which is just how 621 wants it! Sometimes he makes targeted attacks when he wants something, but just as often if the renegade cousins are getting antsy with nothing to do on Niihau, he’ll just let them go blow off some steam by causing mayhem (as long as they can get back without being followed or captured.)
621 himself is never with the group when they attack. He has Bonnie act as a kind of “field team leader” in his place, and he uses Jay (Experiment 410) as his eyes and ears. 621 sulks and broods and masterminds from Niihau, where he can come up with nasty schemes without the danger of Lilo, Stitch, Ani, or the rest of the Ohana learning that he’s on Earth.
Usually the Renegade Cousins fall into a pattern. At first they’d all meet up and try to get as far into town to cause damage as they could before the Ohana could react. But then, after Lilo figured out the naughty cousins were always coming from somewhere over the ocean, she moved Yaarp to a spot on the coast to act as a warning alarm. So that slowed them down, until after Trip (Experiment 453) was convinced to join 621’s cause. He teleports the gang straight into town—well, almost. He’s one of Jumba’s failed Experiments, so he can never quite teleport exactly where he’s told to, but usually it’s close enough.
Then they’ll cause trouble. Grindz (Experiment 486) will smash stuff up, Bonnie and Clyde will use the mayhem to loot local businesses, while Flame (Experiment 518) just goes sort of berserk and runs through the scene on fire and screaming. When the Ohana inevitably comes to corral or stop them, Klamp and Prism come in as a sort of “second wave” and make it difficult so that everybody can escape through one of Trip’s portals back to Niihau. Klamp (Experiment 429) does this by rolling up and locking himself around Lilo or sometimes Pleakley or even Stitch’s ankle to keep them from interfering. Prism (Experiment 560) helps waylay the Ohana by bouncing around, flashing light in their eyes. She’s an active little lady and loves testing out the blinding gauntlets 621 had stolen for her from Jumba’s ship. Phoon is helpful too, knocking the heroes over or away with her gusts of wind. Usually, the whole gang gets away while the Ohana is putting out the fires.
Some other missions 621 sends them out on are:
- kidnapping weaker cousins to use as hostages, as in the case once with Yin and Yang.
- stealing equipment, either from Jumba’s ship or Gantu’s ship.
- spy missions, to scope out what the Ohana is doing or how other Experiments might be manipulated. (Bonnie, Clyde, and Jay are most useful for this.)
- Night Marcher tactics. This was Prism’s idea, because she abandoned her One True Place even before 621 came around, having more fun scaring tourists on the hiking trails than lighting up shows at the Coliseum. She started taking Grindz with her on little field trips to keep doing this even after she began working with 621, and Trip helped because he’d do anything for Prism, and then the rest of the crew started getting into it. 621 encourages this because he takes delight in hearing how tourists are getting scared away from Stitch’s precious Town, so now they do more stuff like that.
Crystallene, Comet, and Butter tend to stay on Niihau more than the others. Comet claims she wants to be lookout and guard their hideout, but she really hasn’t warmed up to the idea of encountering and fighting anybody in the Ohana yet. Crystallene doesn’t even try to hide that she feels miserable going against Stitch, and she’s already been on the fence, so 621 shrewdly keeps her on Niihau crystal-forming their hideout. And Butter is little more intelligent than a clever horse, so he sticks with 621 even when the others are out causing mayhem.
Sooo long answer short, hit-and-run tactics it is! When Leroy comes on the scene though…things get more epic-showdown-y.

Experiment 123, Carmen, eventually fell in love with Sample and quit her One True Place as a dance instructor to be the frontman for his new band! She’s got a fancy new headdress and jacket and everything.

Experiment 622 - Jumby - Jumba’s lab assistant, with an unfortunate habit of trying to replace Jumba himself! After Lilo and Stitch taught him to try and be himself instead of outdoing someone else, his One True Place is as at Galaxy Defense Industries. He becomes their Lead Scientist, like Jumba before him. Unfortunately, the Apple doesn’t fall far from the tree. Even though he’s turned good, Jumby keeps his share of secrets from the Galactic Federation. His pet project was de-mutating one of their high-profile prisoners, 621…and that’s how 621 managed to escape.
“Oh well…living and learning, eh?”

Hi guys! We love you all a ton. And we do love all your questions. But above are examples of WHAT NOT TO ASK. We only have two rules (one of them isn't depicted above) when you ask questions on our flimsy little Stitch and Ani blog:
1. Don't ask ArtistIssues to reveal things about unseen Experiments until her design for it drops. It's hard work making original Experiments and she's asked you guys not to. 2. DO NOT ASK QUESTIONS ABOUT CANON EXPERIMENTS FROM LILO AND STITCH: THE SERIES if the question does not have to do with Stitch and Ani or the characters specific to Stitch and Ani (like unseen cousins, Kai, Ani, Zeke, or the Stitch and Ani timeline.) Don't ask what canon Experiments do, where they live, how their powers work, or anything like that. Those Experiments' stories were already told in Lilo and Stitch: the Series and we're not here to fill in any plotholes from that show. We're only here to tell OUR story with OUR version of the characters/unseen Experiments.
Which is why it's not fun to get questions about canon Experiments or the original series. Ask about Stitch and Ani. Ask about that story and those characters, please, and don't ask Arti or Doverstar to divulge details on unseen Experiments before their designs have dropped, or details on the main plot until Dover has released them in some medium or the 'thoughts//' tag. From now on, if your question never got answered, it's because you broke these 2 rules and we deleted it. In love! We like the questions! Just please respect our wishes. Love you guys! Really! :D

You said that what Stitch left Lilo stopped doing the rounds to make sure the cousins are still happy which helped lead to why so many joined 621, but that got me curious. Where there there any before then that needed to be relocated into a new "one place"? Not only because it's hard to find a good fit for them right away, but also any that went from happy to unhappy over time?
ArtistIssues
Swirly was relocated, as aforementioned, because his One True Place was only good for however long it took somebody to figure out they could take advantage of his hypnosis powers. Carmen (123) was also relocated from her dance-instructor One True Place, because after she started being boochiboos with Sample, she became happier performing. Speaking of which, Sample’s One True Place also wound up changing when his band broke up, and he started a new one with Carmen. And there are a few other examples of that, too. So in answer to your question, yes, sometimes the One True Places changed, but it was usually during the time period when Lilo was still active in their lives. After the big split between she and Stitch, that was when things started to go unnoticed. Experiments who were not happy in their One True Place pretended to be, just to keep some sense of normalcy. Experiments don’t always react well to change.
Trainer, Experiment 623, actually has a One True Place training Experiments to get better at their jobs in Kokaua Town. He should have taken over Lilo’s role there after she left, but he was preoccupied with a certain crush. Now he has guilt, which is shared with Lilo!

Some of the experiments were tamed not so much by turning good but by putting them in a place that they can do what they're programed to do without causing major problems. Like Lax being let loose in an airport and Babyfier put in the pound to turn old dogs. Or even Sparky with their lighthouse. I'm not sure how you headcanon the way programming works, so would you say experiments of this type would be more likely to defect to 621, less likely, or close to the same as any other?
ArtistIssues
Well, in the case of Sparky, you can clearly see the moments in the film where he turns from bad to good and grows as a character. He realizes how much he has in common with Stitch and how happy Stitch is to claim him as family, and that opens Sparky up to a world of new, family-related happiness. Then when Lilo considers what he can “play with” that won’t burn up, Sparky is willing and ready to go with whatever idea she has. I think the main reason to believe that the Experiments who are turned to good by being contained or moved into a different place are on the “Aloha Team” is because they stay where they’re put. Just like Sparky, who could leave the lighthouse at any time and have more fun surging through carnival lights, but instead he’s content to be where Lilo and Stitch gave him a home. Whether that contentment is the result of “infected/malfunctioning programming“ or just not being able to find anything better on their own, only Jumba can say! Besides, we know that by Leroy & Stitch all of the cousins are happy enough to be in an Ohana to take a family photo! (Except Bonnie, who posed for the photo because she was allowed on parole to do so.)

Lilo and Stitch are still the best dancers in the Ohana.

With Chopsuey (or 621 at the moment) are there any experiments they avoid recruiting or being around for any reason besides said experiments still being happy where they are? Like with Sprout. He could cause major havoc if let to root in the ground, but they're basically just a smart plant. Not following orders or finding one true place, just happy that their water tower had plenty of sun and water. Not much there for 621 to command.
ArtistIssues
The short answer is yes! 621 avoids Experiments that are closest to Lilo & Stitch’s Ohana or have been with them the longest. Particularly Cannonball, Yin, Yang, Richter, Sparky, and Kixx. He also avoids Experiments who are happy and proactive about their One True Places. This is because even though 621 loves manipulating cousins, and he talks and acts like he’s afraid of no one, he really doesn’t want another showdown with Stitch. Not until he feels he’s ready. So he is careful not to reveal himself to Experiments he can’t control, who might go telling Lilo or Stitch or Ani about the weird green cousin they’ve never seen before trying to get them to quit their One True Place!
And yes, 621 preaches that he wants all the Experiments to reach their full potential, but really he just wants the ones that would be useful to him. So he wouldn’t go for Experiments like Mr. Stenchy first. But that doesn’t mean he’s displeased if a “useless” Experiment turns to his side! He’s just happy it’ll upset Stitch. Thanks for the question!

Aloha!
We'd like to take this moment to say that we have noticed something: people tend to view created artwork and fiction as extremely representational, with no room for nuance or creating something just because you like it. Instead, fiction must be "all things to all people." That mentality causes most fandom communities to dissolve into infighting and 90% of content becomes angry rants and analyzations of the material. And that's no fun for everyone.
Therefore, we're not going to answer any questions that risk bringing the drama of representing or not-representing everyone's chosen demographic/issue into the blog. This is a fan-made blog, simple, and fun. We want to keep it that way. The heaviest "theme" we will work with is that of "forgiveness." Other than that, you should just expect to see aliens and happy beach people, with no deeper meaning or commentary.
If you're looking for someplace that will use its art to address whatever hot-button topic our culture is interested in today, we invite you to go somewhere else.
Or keep sending us questions about socio-political topics, and asking us how we will represent the things you believe in. That's okay, too. Just don't expect us to answer! We're just here to make the things we love for fun, and if you happen to like those things too, well then, the more the merrier!
Sincerely,
ArtistIssues (and Doverstar)
