Pam Bondi will be a Trump operative. The Constitution dies. The country descends.
Too much of the country is not engaged.
Gross incompetence is white audacity. Who can be the worst possible candidate is the default.

BREAKING — ABC broke the story that Donald Trump is accepting a $400 million dollar Boeing 747 plane from Qatar as a gift. Trump intends to use this plane to replace the current Air Force One until the end of his term and then the plane will be transferred to his own personal Presidential Library.
The Trump Organization just last week announced that they were building a 5 billion dollar golf resort in Qatar and now they are gifting Trump a plane
This news story wasn’t actually confirmed until Trump later blasted Democrats for criticizing the transaction thus confirming the reports to be true.
The current Air Force One is owned by the United States Department of Defense and is strictly owned and maintained by the US government for security purposes.
This is blatant corruption to the core. Elected officials are not allowed to accept gifts over $20. In fact, Article 1 of the Constitution via the Emoluments Clause says that no elected official is allowed to accept any gifts from any King, Prince, or foreign State AT ALL.
Donald Trump’s own Attorney General Pam Bondi who approved the gift, was a paid Six figure lobbyist for Qatar.
Impeachable offense.

I wasn't expecting the third woman to be appointed as U.S. attorney general to be "Evil" Barbie
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Why do so many Republican women in power choose to wear excessive makeup and/or bleach their hair blonde?
Is it that they fear they won't be heard by Republican men unless they also provide sufficient eye candy?
Regardless, it is irksome to me that the third woman to become the U.S. attorney general seems to not only be a Barbie, but to also be an "Evil" Barbie.
It is the "Evil" part that is most troubling, given that Bondi appears to be fully engaged in "weaponizing" the DOJ against Trump's "enemies"--including Trump's "enemies" within the DOJ.
WASHINGTON – The Justice Department has fired all of Jan. 6 special counsel Jack Smith’s staff and is working to “root out” anyone at the department and FBI who it believes doesn’t like President Donald Trump, Attorney General Pam Bondi has confirmed.... in a Monday night [March 3, 2025] interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. [...] "Everything is on the table, Sean,” Bondi told Hannity. “We're going to look at everything."  [...] “Well, first and foremost, we got rid of the Jack Smith team. Gone. Those people are gone,” Bondi said. “We're still trying to find … a lot of people in the FBI and also in the Department of Justice who despise Donald Trump, despise us, don't want to be there.” “You have to do the right thing and right now we're going to root them out,” Bondi said. [...] “We're starting at every level of the Justice Department, Sean, and getting rid of the worst of the worst. But there are a lot more people that shouldn't be there.” [...] “I know it's very early in your tenure. Are you at all shocked at how things were running before you got there?” Hannity asked Bondi. “Shocked. Yeah,” Bondi replied. “Kash and I, Patel, talk about this all the time. You know, we knew it was bad. We never knew how bad, and especially on the criminal side and on the people who were in” DOJ’s National Security Division, which focuses, in part, on foreign threats to the U.S. posed by Russia and other hostile nations. “Will we look into what they did?” Hannity asked Bondi. “Everything is being looked into,” Bondi said. “It sounds like a massive list,” Hannity replied. “It doesn't sound like you're going to be sleeping a lot in the next four years.” “None of us will,” Bondi replied. “But it's worth it. It's worth it to fight for the American people and to keep America safe.” [color emphasis added]
Bondi is a high powered attorney, so we know she isn't stupid. Therefore, it seems inexcusable that she is blatantly lying to the American people on national TV by calling DOJ employees "the worst of the worst" simply because they were doing their jobs investigating Trump's obvious crimes/ corruption. Bondi's claim that she is conducting this inquisition for the "American people"--rather than to implement Trump's plans for revenge or to purge government of anyone who won't go along with Trump's corrupt and often illegal orders, suggests that she is incredibly corrupt.
Given all of the above, "Evil" Barbie seems to be a fitting moniker for Bondi.

"Gaetz's path was mired by a series of allegations of sexual misconduct, including sex with a minor. On Thursday, NBC News learned from a source familiar that the House Ethics Committee, which had been investigating Gaetz, was told that a 17-year-old girl had two sexual encounters with the Florida Republican at a 2017 party.
The description of the second encounter was included in her testimony to the House Ethics Committee as well as a deposition in a related civil lawsuit. The second sexual encounter included another adult woman, according to a source familiar."

Why Are Federal Judges and Trump’s Policies Clashing?
As of March 2025, federal judges have issued at least 15 nationwide injunctions against President Donald Trump’s policies, far exceeding blocks on the Biden administration in its first three years. These blocks target a wide range of Trump initiatives, including his efforts to end birthright citizenship, tighten immigration, roll back EPA regulations, cut foreign aid, alter military readiness, and deregulate industries. Many of these judges were appointed by Democratic presidents (e.g., Obama, Clinton), often rule from Democratic-leaning districts (like California or D.C.), and are seen as holding progressive judicial philosophies that align with Democratic priorities, such as protecting civil rights and environmental laws. This has led to accusations from Trump, the Attorney General, and supporters that the judiciary is politically biased, engaging in “judicial activism” or “venue shopping” by liberal groups to target Trump’s agenda.
The perception of political bias is fueled by the judges’ legal interpretations, which can reflect personal beliefs or philosophies (e.g., living constitutionalism vs. originalism) rather than strict application of the law. Critics argue that nationwide injunctions, used repeatedly to halt Trump’s policies, look like power moves to undermine his mandate after his 2024 landslide victory. Some Republican-appointed judges have also ruled against Trump, but the concentration of Democratic appointees in key districts amplifies the perception of a liberal judiciary.
The Trump administration’s appeal to the Supreme Court to limit nationwide injunctions reflects this tension, with potential implications for the balance of power. If the Court sides with Trump, it could reduce judicial blocks; if not, clashes will likely continue. This ongoing battle raises questions about judicial impartiality, with public trust in the courts at stake.
I see a complex interplay of legal duty and political perception. The data clearly shows a pattern of Democratic-appointed judges issuing injunctions against Trump’s policies, often in Democratic-leaning districts, which lends credence to the perception of political bias. The aggressive scope of Trump’s executive actions, combined with the judiciary’s role as a check on power, explains the high number of blocks, but the alignment of judicial philosophy with Democratic priorities makes it hard to dismiss the idea that some rulings are influenced by politics.

Some Senate Democrats have been willing to vote for Donald Trump’s less outlandish Cabinet nominees, but Pam Bondi’s nomination for U.S. attorney general was a qualitatively different kind of case. The Florida Republican is a scandal-plagued election denier and former lobbyist for foreign governments, who, even during her confirmation hearing, refused to acknowledge the legitimacy of Joe Biden’s 2020 victory.
Members of the Senate’s GOP majority were eager to confirm Bondi anyway, but there was no way that Democrats were going to go along with such a scheme. When the dust settled, the final tally was 54-46, with every member of the Democratic minority opposed to her nomination — with one exception.
Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania voted with Republicans.
