An Unlucky Day: Epilogue - Rebellion

Summary: The time has come for the rebellion! Well... it's moreso a rescue and recovery mission for this group of bandits. Either way, will you succeed or will all your hard work go in vain? Based loosely off the song Breakin' The Bank by Lucky Daye

“He looks busted.” Hongjoong said and Seonghwa nodded in agreement with him.

“Can you blame him? He’s probably been through hell and back when Sopro corrupted him.” Yeosang argued gently.

“Speaking of which, what’s going to happen if we rescue Y/N’s… ex-husband from Sopro? Like where will we go from there?” San asked.

“I’ll take care of Sopro.” Wooyoung volunteered.

A mini argument soon broke out between San and Wooyoung and Yeosang was trying hard to resolve the issue. The last thing they needed was a petty fight ruining their plans. Matz had to step in while that was happening. In another corner of the ship, you were fighting for your life. Even though Jongho, your boyfriend, made it abundantly clear that you were taken, he was allowing Mingi to flirt with you and make you feel all flustered and whatnot. Perhaps there was some agreement they made while you were chatting with Yunho. Or perhaps it was something else. Either way, you were trying so hard not to melt from the breathy and deep voices going back and forth as the two men flirted with you.

“Look at Y/N, Jjong. So cute when they’re squirming like that. Are you that flustered just by my voice alone, baby?” Mingi practically purred in your ear.

“I agree. And trust me, Mingi. Once you get your hands on Y/N behind closed doors, they’ll certainly be done for.” Jongho chuckled smoothly as he leaned in closer to you.

“Can you two leave me alone?!” You fought back meekly. Truth be told, you were living for the fact that two hot men such as your current boyfriend and the best friend of your ex were making you feel this way. You just didn’t want to give them the satisfaction that they were getting to you.

“Wow. I didn’t think those two would work together to be such menaces towards Y/N. Should I do something about it?” MITO stated in a half amused & half concerned voice. Yunho, who was watching the ordeal unfold with 100% amusement, shook his head.

“Nah. She’ll be alright. Help me break up the fight between San and Wooyoung.”

MITO nodded and walked with Yunho towards the duo that were split apart by the other three men. Yunho threw Wooyoung over his shoulder while MITO blocked San’s view so the mountain of a man wouldn’t be able to see him anymore. Matz and Yeosang sighed out of relief and looked at each other.

“I’d give it at least three hours tops before Wooyoung comes crawling to San, apologizing about this whole mess.” Hongjoong wagered.

“Three hours? More like three minutes. Three seconds is pushing it so I’ll stick with minutes.” Seonghwa countered.

“I also say three hours, but knowing Wooyoung and his petty hater nature, San will be the one crawling to him and apologizing for this whole mess.” Yeosang proposed and both men nodded before shaking each other’s hands and giggling to themselves.

“I’M FREE!”

Matz and Yeosang heard you shout as they saw you bolting towards them. You hid behind Hongjoong specifically since you knew that he’d help you out due to his captain status. Mingi and Jongho casually strolled up to the trio and raised an eyebrow at you poorly attempting to shield yourself from them. Hongjoong looked back and forth between you guys and an evil idea popped in his head.

“Gentlemen! Are you looking for Y/N? If so, here you go.”

Hongjoong pulled you out of your hiding spot and gently shoved you towards them. Jongho wrapped his strong arms around your waist while Mingi chuckled deeply. Seonghwa and Yeosang felt bad for you since they knew how these two could get yet at the same time, they couldn’t help but be amused by this whole situation.

“How long until we reach that abandoned bank, captain?”

“I’d say about 30 minutes, but we’re not in a rush. I felt like taking the scenic route today.”

“Y’ALL ARE SAILING IN THE SKY!”

Hongjoong pretended to ignore your protest and giggled quietly to himself as Mingi nodded in acknowledgement of this information given to him.

“Ok that’s good. We aren’t done with Y/N yet, but if you do need them, you know where to find us.”

“Noted. Have fun, you two~”

“SEE THIS IS WHY YOU BUILT LIKE A MINION, YOU BACKSTABBER!”

MITO, Seonghwa, Yunho, and Yeosang busted out laughing while Hongjoong’s face grew red in embarrassment by your comment. You were soon dragged away by Mingi and Jongho and you would remain with them until you guys reached your destination.

“I don’t like you right now.”

“Oh come on, honey! Surely you can’t give me the silent treatment forever, right?”

“You know we make you feel good, babe.”

You grumbled in annoyance as Jongho laughed at your current form. Even though he was behind you, he knew you were crossing your arms and frowning slightly from the never-ending teasing they delivered unto you. When he heard you huff out in slight anger, that’s when he knew it was enough. Jongho sighed and approached you slowly, wrapping his arms around your waist once more and placing his chin atop your head. You relaxed under his touch yet you remained on guard. Jongho kissed your temple and lowered his head to talk quietly into your ear.

“Ok look. I’m sorry, honey. I didn’t think you’d be this annoyed. We’ll stop, alright? I don’t want the love of my life to be angry with me forever. I already had to live through that once. I don’t want to experience that ever again.”

You softened up upon hearing Jongho’s sincerity and you angled your head so you could kiss his cheek. Mingi watched you two and found the sight endearing. He grabbed your hand gingerly and kissed the back of it.

“I agree with Jjong here. We kind of took it too far so we’ll stop for now. We good now, mami?”

Out of all the petnames you’ve heard, this one took you by surprise. Mix the pet name with his soft baritone voice and you found yourself a whole new type of flustered. Not trusting your voice, you simply nodded and Mingi smiled softly before leaning in to kiss your cheek.

“L-Let’s just proceed with the rescue.” You murmured quietly and both men nodded before the three of you caught up with the rest of the group. You looked up at the entrance of the abandoned bank and sighed to yourself. If your ex-husband was truly trapped inside there, you would try your mightiest to make sure he is rescued and out of there safe and sound. Even though you no longer felt the love you once had for him, you still cared for him as a friend.

“Let’s do this…”

“SO NO ONE CARED TO WARN ME ABOUT THESE BIG… THINGS CHASING US?!”

All eight pirates and MITO shouted their apologies as the 10 of you sprinted for your lives. The rescue mission was a success and the recovery of the red Sopro jewel was also a success. However, none of you were aware that by robbing both things, it would trigger an alarm. To be fair, Hongjoong had the blueprint of the building’s schematics in hand and Yeosang confirmed that there was nothing worth hacking so all of you assumed it would be easy. Looks like this Z guy was smarter than you made him out to be based on what you’ve been told by the pirate kings.

“LOOK OUT!”

Alongside the android guardians (that’s what the huge white manly lookly humanoids with silver spiked chain masks were called) chasing you down, falling debris was another obstacle amongst all of you. You were impressed by everyone’s agility, especially since one of the pirates had to carry your unconscious ex-husband in his arms.

Spoiler alert: It was Mingi carrying him.

You saw the faint outline of the ship coming into view and temporary relief washed over you. This gives you more adrenaline and energy to run even faster. As you neared the ship, you saw Seonghwa reach into his pocket and extend his arm to press a button on a black fob with an A on the back of it. The ship came to life and the ramp descended so you could climb aboard. As soon as all 11 of you hit the deck, the ramp disappeared and it ascended into the sky quickly. Below you, you heard the distorted and robotic voices of the android guardians admitting defeat.

“He’s waking up!”

“Give him some space!”

The eight pirates backed up, leaving only you and MITO to tend to Dabin. He didn’t have the black veins like in the simulation, but he looked paler in real life. There were no visible injuries on him, but the sight of the half moons under his eyes tore your heart into two.

How long was Sopro torturing him like this?

“Dabin? Hey. It’s me. Y/N.”

When he heard your soft voice for what seems like the first time in forever, he lunged forward and crushed you in a hug, sobs racking his entire body as he held onto you for dear life. While the rest of the pirates sympathized with him, Mingi and Jongho looked at the exchange with one question on their mind.

How will Y/N break the news of the divorce to Dabin?

You helped Dabin stand up and let him take a minute to breathe in some fresh air before introducing him to his saviours one by one. You saved Mingi and Jongho for last knowing that you had some explaining to do. Deep down, you prayed he understood. When the crew dispersed to busy themselves with whatever tasks were available, you took this opportunity to take Dabin and Jongho into a separate room so you could break down everything that happened. Mingi wanted to go with you, but he decided against it since he didn’t want to overwhelm his cousin.

“Dabin, what I’m about to tell you is going to be bizarre. Please bear with me.”

Awkward silence.

That’s how it was for the next few minutes or so. Suddenly, Dabin spoke up.

“I should be mad, but… I can’t find it in myself to do so. I guess I feel more… guilty in a sense. I disappeared on you for a while, he swoops in, you two fall in love, and the next time you see me, I’m this gross monster that you’ve probably seen from Outlast or Until Dawn or something.”

Despite the grim setting of the situation the three of you are in, you giggled lightly at Dabin’s comedic timing. He knew just the right thing to say in order to bring some light to this situation. Jongho couldn’t help but laugh in disbelief. He was expecting only one outcome of this whole discussion.

He was definitely not expecting this.

“All I can say is… I’m sorry. I’m sorry that I left you alone all this time and with an assumption I never wanted ingrained in your brain. You know me, Y/N. I’m loyal until I truly fall out of love. To be honest, I’m still in love with you.”

Both you and Jongho expected that.

“However, I can see it in your eyes, Y/N. You care for me, but you love him. And I’m not going to be that dude that keeps his partner away from someone they love just to satiate my happiness. Will it hurt seeing my… I guess ex-wife with another man? Yeah. But is letting you go worth seeing the bright smile on your face? Yes. Absolutely.”

Your eyes welled up with tears upon hearing the touching words Dabin spoke out of his heart of gold. You hoped that one day, someone will be able to return that same love to him. You surged forward and hugged Dabin tightly. Dabin returned your embrace equally as tight before letting go. He turned to Jongho and grinned.

“I’ll spare you that stupid lecture since I know for a fact that you’ll take care of Y/N well. However, I will say this. If you do mess up, I won’t hesitate to swoop in and take her back.”

Jongho respected how forward Dabin is and he took this as a challenge to always make sure that you are happy and loved. They shook hands firmly before letting go. A knock on the door sounded and all of you turned to see Wooyoung’s head pop in.

“We’re almost at Dabin’s place. Have you said your final goodbyes?”

The three of you nodded.

“Great! Grab something to eat in the meantime so you won’t feel hungry by the time we land.”

Linking arms with your ex-husband and your boyfriend, the three of you went into the galley to feast on some of Wooyoung’s finest dishes.

“Will you be ok with these guys?”

You nodded firmly as you approached the entrance to Dabin’s house. He decided that for the time being, he’ll stay with his parents while you sail with the pirate kings. He was worried that this intense pirate life would be too much for you, but you insisted that you’ll be ok. He hugged you one last time before watching you walk back to the ship. As it ascended into the sky, he waved goodbye before heading inside his house. Aboard the deck, you were looking out into the distance, caged in between Jongho’s arms. Your hand was holding Mingi’s hand and you sighed in content.

“Thank you for joining our cause, honey.” Jongho said to you softly and gratefully.

“You’ll make a great addition to our team, babe. Trust me.” Mingi added.

“Your mission is something I now take to heart.” You stated to both of them as you looked at the clouds soaring above you.

“After all…

We have to break the wall.”

Aurora had lost Camp Jupiter to Emperors Commodus,Caligula,Geta and Caracalla. Frank Zhang and Reyna Avila Ramírez-Arellano were died so were Tatum and Tessa. She was only Praetor leaved and The Camp were down two Centriouns. Her Father Apollo was stuck as Mortal forever. And The Avengers were permanently split into Team Cap and Team Iron Man and Zemo Won.Of Course Everyone else lost their biggest regret too. Aurora was currently with Hazel Levesque walk the two had left Camp Jupiter after The Battle. Aurora open an entrance to a vent somewhere idk.

AU where Jin has a girlfriend, and she has a breakdown after finding out he's going to mandatory military service... and still didn't ask her to marry him.

Portuguese version | English version

Pairing: Kim Seokjin x Original Character

Genre: Fluff, Comedy, Lovers [little bit of Enemies], a tiny sprinkle of angst ((cause I HATE sadness))

A/N: Just me writing fanfic about dating my UTT [and having a mental breakdown over him going to military service]. Chapters are really short cause 1. This was written for Twitter and 2. I didn't get to the point of building up a more intricate narrative over the original plot, although I had some ideas for it.

Healing a Broken Heart

Hoseok and Jimin are on an emergency operation to try helping Aurora win over her sadness, but nothing seems to do the trick. Thankfully, Seokjin knows exactly what to do to be forgiven by his girlfriend...

— Alright, who wants brigadeiro? — Hoseok asked, trying to lift the mood in Aurora's apartment living room.

He and Jimin were set on keeping her company and, ignoring her protests, they rang her doorbell soon after the argument in group chat had ended.

The situation couldn't have been more discouraging. The girl had her face extremely swollen and red - a clear evidence of how much she'd cried -, and her humor was grumpy to a point there wasn't even a small semblance to their usually lovable and energetic friend they'd always been so used to.

— You don't know how to make brigadeiro, Hoseok — Aurora retorted, all curled up under a blanket while sitting beside Jimin on her couch and pretending to be entertained with a random program playing on her television.

— Ow Sunshine! I really didn't need that kind of criticism right now — he whined with a pout, still Aurora didn't show any reaction to it.

Hoseok and Jimin exchanged a glance.

— Rora... — Jimin tried, rubbing her shoulder gently. -- You know we're here just to keep you company, right? There's no need for you to attack us like that.

— I know... Sorry, Hobi — the girl muttered, sniffling and hiding her face under the blanket to try to ignore her friend's worried gaze. — I'm really not in the mood for anything right now...

— It's worse than we imagined — whispered Jimin, moving away from the girl and closer to Hoseok with a nervous expression. -- I don't think we'll be able to solve this, hyung.

— She denied brigadeiro, Minie... She NEVER says no to brigadeiro — the Jung answered, trying to keep his voice low enough for the girl not to be able to hear it. — I don't know what to do!

— Don't worry, I do -- they heard a low and slightly hoarse voice, startled they turned around to find Seokjin standing right behind them, holding food boxes. While both friends were focused on the girl depressed on the couch, neither of them heard the sound of the apartment door opening or the not-so-subtle noise of the brief stumble that almost made all the boxes the Kim carried fall to the ground.

— Hyung! — the younger ones, still surprised by his presence, exclaimed. Split between celebrating Aurora's boyfriend's arrival and kicking him out of the apartment for hurting her.

— Aurora's not good, hyung. She's sad with you. I don't know if you being here is a good idea right now — Jimin soon took the lead, voicing the feelings he'd noticed on his friend while following the Kim to the kitchen.

— I know, Jiminie — he muttered after a deep, heavy sigh, having put the packages he'd bought over the table. -- But I don't think keeping a distance right now will be good for both of us or our relationship.

— You're right — Hoseok barged into the conversation before Jimin could bring up his point of view once again, knowing well how he's friend, empathic as he was, had already taken their friend's pain to himself and now voiced them as if they were his own. — We're gonna leave you two to talk and solve this out. But please, hyung, be careful about what you're gonna say to her.

And so, Hoseok and Jimin - the latter, still a bit reluctant - left the apartment, giving Seokjin some privacy to solve his relationship problem.

Still, Seokjin had his doubts about how effective his plan would be, given that, knowing Aurora as he did, it was obvious that his decision to hide the information about his military service had hurt his girlfriend.

He walked out of the kitchen and closer to the couch as silently as possible, feeling his heart tighten from knowing the small rumble of blankets over the furniture was his girlfriend. There were very few times Aurora had felt sad or hurt to the point of letting that influence her humor, and from those few ones it had indeed happened, Seokjin felt his heart tightening knowing the only thing he’d be able to do for his love was tightly embracing her in his arms to try and protect her from a feeling he had no power over. But now things were different.

Aurora was crying because of him.

Carefully, Seokjin knelt in front of the rumble the blankets formed and lifted them slowly, revealing her swollen and flushed red face from crying. He smiled, incapable of stopping himself from admiring how beautiful and adorable was the girl who held his heart, but his smile also had this hint of melancholy that he couldn’t get rid of before being able to explain and show her how much he regretted being the cause of her tears.

His hand, soft and trembling as if he was afraid the girl would vanish in thin air, made its way to a lock of her hair that rested over her forehead, moving it away from her face. Knowing well, that would be enough to pull her out of her sleep - although he suspected she wasn’t even actually sleeping. He felt his heart racing against his chest once her eyelids lazily lifted, giving space for her dark brown iris to focus on him with that warmth he was so familiar with, although also carrying this cold glare that made his throat dry out.

— I hope you’re the Seokjin of my dream, cause if you’re the real Seokjin, you better get out of my house right now… Before I go grab a broom to kick out of here myself — Seokjin couldn’t hold back his smile as he heard those rough and threatening words that rang in his ears in a rather adorable way.

Once more, he realized how lost and fated he was towards spending all the time Aurora would let him love her, or he’d be forced to resign to an eternity craving for her heart.

— If you really wanted to kick me out, you’d have done it the moment I opened the door… And I thought I was already the Seokjin of your dream — he teased, laughing as he watched the girl roll her eyes around with a scoff, not truly seeming to be that bothered.

— You are… Just not when you hide things you know are important to me and that obviously affects both of us.

— I didn’t hide anything from you, my love!

— But you didn’t tell me either!

— I didn’t get to!

— Why not? We tell each other everything! Did I give you any reason not to trust me?

— That’s not the point!

— Did I stop you from telling me?

— No!

— Then why-

— I got scared, ok?! I got scared that you’d give up on me!

They halted, staring at each other with eyes watering up. The silence seemed to form a lump in their throats, and Seokjin thought for a moment he had said too much.

— I love you.

It was so simple and at the same time, it seemed like the whole world had faded away. Seokjin always loved how Aurora was so soothing by always knowing the right time to say just the right things. Sometimes he thought this was one of the greater reasons he had fallen in love with her.

— And sometimes swear I wish I didn’t love you this much — she whined, making him smile when she unconsciously pouted.

— And sometimes swear I get surprised from not knowing I can't still love you even more than I already do — he answered, feeling pulled into the warmth in her eyes.

— I don’t know why you felt the need to be scared, but at least I hope you get once and for all that there’s not even the slight possibility I’ll give up on you. Not even if you give up on me. You wanted to date me, now it’s for the rest of our lives, Seokjin — Aurora pointed her finger against his chest, they were so close he was sure she could hear the quick thumping of his heart.

He felt the need to kiss her, but still needed to be sure he’d been forgiven first.

— Please forgive me.

— I do forgive you — Aurora muttered, her eyelashes slowly brushing over her skin before her eyes stared back into his. Seokjin gulped, knowing her next words would seal out his destiny for the rest of the night. — But you better cook for me every day until you have to go, got it?

And so he smiled, a sided grin that brought with it a thousand promises from a man completely surrendered to love.

— Your wish is my command, my lady.

"A short flight from Reykjavík lies the town of Höfn on Iceland's south-eastern coast - a small and storied fishing port located on a peninsula amidst shifting arctic lagoons and frosted tundra, from whence a few hours of inland hike will take you up the base of the wide and sprawling mountain glacier, Vatnajökull. The ancient icecap covers almost eight thousand square kilometres of land and presents a tantalizingly risky venture to those few who are daring enough to seek its peaks, and yet deceptively, the true bounty of this frozen scape lie not above it, but nestled deep within-- Wandering through winding tunnels carved through stone and ice, you emerge into an open cavern, buffeted by jagged, mountainous walls and cracked bare beneath a glimpse of northern lights along a distant, starry sky. Long hidden from the eyes of men, volcanic waters pool into a trickling staircase of hot springs, whose healative depths glow with a curious luminescence whilst the air about tingles faintly with lingering remnants of olden magic. Only recently has this space been made accessible from outside, and now a humble set of logwood cabins and rocks chiselled to muralling depictions of beasts welcome its first guests into a steamy respite, buried in the very heart of the glacier, and cradled protectively from the world outside. Harboring no ails but those that are brought with you."

What is this?

A time-unrestricted mini-event for any character that'd like to enjoy some hotsprings fun and / or shenanigans relaxation. The event takes place over a series of IC days during which any configuration of guests are welcome in the hall of grouchy humble host Jormungandr - local expert in getting wet and steamy.

Notes of interest (map further below):

The hotsprings are located inside the Vatnajökull glacier, north of Höfn, Iceland.

The area is surrounded by a large and mountainous nature reserve, sporting a number of other trails, geysers and vistas for the ambitious hiker.

Guests will need to commit to a few hours hike to reach the springs, culminating in a trek through an ice carved tunnel through the glacier itself. In terms of lodging, they may either stay within one of the few simple, logwood cabins constructed inside, or make the hike back down to Höfn at the end of the night - provided they're sober enough to prevent any slipping and sliding down the mountain.

The cabins contain large rustic beds, simple wood furniture like couches and tables, numerous furs for insulation, and a simple bathroom space.

There are limited kitchen amenities, but a large food and alcohol reserve within another of the cabins, from whence a snack can be prepared around any of the open firepits.

The hotsprings themselves are split into three; A deeper and partially enclosed western cavern, a roofed and sectioned Eastern Cavern near the cabins, and a large central steppe of shallower springs narrowing off at the top into a rocky climb into a smaller, more private pool further in.

Due to the steam and heat emanating from the springs, the air and floor inside the caverns is moderately comfortable, through the space gets a little chillier at night.

The whole of the area is walled in by mountainous rockwalls and glacial ice, though the ground and lower walls have been diligently carved out for (relative) walking comfort. In addition to this, much of the encasing rock feature murals depicting motifs of various beasts in stages of rest, battle or hunt, whilst individual stone carvings of similar nature can be found scattered throughout the caverns.

Cracked open at the top of the cavern, the mountain splits to give a view of the sky, where winter stars and northern auroras light up the vicinity during nightfall.

Sloane knew she was being assessed, she wasn’t a lawyer herself obviously but she was a huge fan of law and order which meant she’d heard how key it was for counsel to learn to read their clients in order to best work with them. So she was well aware Laurel would be taking in every micro movement she made but ironically that was one thing that was actually calming her down - because it meant she would have to say less. If the woman could infer things from her involuntary acts then let her do it, the less she had to force herself to say out loud the better. Maybe it was the tiny chew of her bottom lip that she forced herself to stop doing only a second later because of the ingrained need for perfection in her making a split lip not an option. Or possibly the way her eyes shifted every couple of seconds to the drinks on the coffee table, wondering if she should pour them some to break up the tension she felt mounting in her chest. More than likely it was something she didn’t even realise she was doing though.

Hearing the compliment on the house she finally made eye contact again, a small smile gracing her lips, even though that wasn’t something she could take credit for. Sure the redhead had added a couple of little touches since moving in but the bulk of it had been designed by Axel, or more likely whoever he’d hired to do it. “Oh, I know right? I’ll show you the nursery later if you like, it’s really something special. Axel put so much effort into it. He also built a mini home dance studio in the basement by his gym for when I’m ready to get back into dancing.” Her entire demeanour lightened a bit as she talked about the sweet things her boyfriend had done for both her and the baby, she still found herself going down to the dance studio just to stand in it. In disbelief it was real.” Looking down at her stomach she gave it a gentle rub, pressing her lips together to stop herself letting the anxiety saying the date out loud would cause. “February seventh. So it’s uh, it’s coming up fast. I live here with Axel, my boyfriend, I don’t know if you know him - Axel Mathis.” She’d spent so much time avoiding Laurel until their run in on new year she actually had no concept of the other woman’s social circles in Aurora Bay. Laurel had to do a lot of observation in her line of work, on a lot of different fronts. She always had to be looking for every possible angle and then build up arguments either in their favor or against them, and then she had to dig even further to fortify her case against any and all scrutiny. That meant reading closely, listening closely, watching closely. There was a lot that Sloane's body language, her nervous tics, her hesitations were saying, and Laurel took small mental notes of it all. Not only for the sake of this case, but for her own information, too. If this moved forward, they were going to have to spend a lot of time together, and in Laurel's experience the unspoken things could teach her just as much about her clients as what they were willing to say.

It didn't take a seasoned lawyer, however, to know that Sloane was hesitant in part because of their New Year's kiss. Laurel flip flopped for a second on whether or not to address that elephant in the room, but she decided against it, at least for now. Again, professionalism taking precedence. If Laurel was really good at anything, it was compartmentalization. It might not be the best thing for her in all contexts, but it helped enormously in this line of work.

Her head tilted as she listened and watched Sloane's hands twist and untwist over and over and not look Laurel directly in the eye. Her own gaze remained patient but steady. "Yeah, I mean... this place is lovely, I'm sure it'll be a great place to raise a baby. Remind me when you're due, again?" She didn't think that Sloane had ever told her, but it was easier to speak in vague familiarities for pleasantry's sake. "And you live here with...?" It tailed off into a question for Sloane to fill in the blank. Laurel assumed it was with the baby daddy, but didn't want to presume aloud. She let herself, for a second, wonder if Sloane had told him about the kiss, and what he had to say about it if so.

"Work is a little slow, to be honest," she said, shrugging. "People are still coming off of holiday mode, no one's gotten into any real trouble quite yet. Except you, apparently," she let a small, teasing smile take over her features. "In all seriousness, I know that this is going to be difficult, and I know you know that too. If you ever need a second, for whatever reason, just say the word and we'll take a break. Yeah?"

Sky and Sun are deeply in love. As of now, they’re in that phase where the other can do no wrong. Things will get hard as they begin to build the kingdom of Hyrule together, but they won’t ever really break apart. At the end of the day, they’re the only ones who know what the other has been through. They are each others comfort and safety. Both would die for the other but they also live for each other. They both had hard journeys on the surface and kept going in the hope of seeing the other again.

Four and Dot are technically engaged, but they just say they’re dating. They’d been friends for their whole lives when one day Four just goes “oh. Oh no. I think I have a crush on Dot.” The colors each came to this conclusion a while ago, but didn’t realize they all felt that way until this day. It takes weeks for him to build up the courage to ask Dot on a date. Before he even gets a chance to ask though, she visits the forge, gives him a flower and asks if he’d be her date to a banquet next week. Since they admitted they both had feeling for the other, it’s been pretty smooth sailing. Dot is the only person who knows how to tell the colors apart when Four isn’t split. Being around her makes him feel whole. Maybe it’s because of the Light Force that she holds, or maybe it’s because all the colors can agree that Dot is great. Who’s tho say? They got engaged after a Prince from another kingdom came around to ask for the Princess’s hand in marriage. Dot was very blunt in saying no. Her royal advisers had to scramble to try and save the situation before she pointed to Four and said “I’m already betrothed.” She later asked if Four was okay with that and he said yes. It’s unsure to most people if they’re actually betrothed or if it’s a lie to get royal suitors off Dot’s tail.

Time is married to Malon and they are perfect. They run Lon Lon Ranch together and are happy to take life at its own pace. Having lived three days over and over again, Time has both lost and gained a better appreciation for a single day. Malon is the only person he’s told everything to and who believe him. She can tell when Time begins to doubt he isn’t in the loop again and assured him this is real and time is passing normally. Being married to a hero who’s not known has its difficulties, but Malon loves Time and that includes the baggage he carries. Time does his best to make life easier for his wife. He also brings a child like magic to her life that not many adults can maintain. He makes sure that for every reassurance she gives him, he gives her a worry free mini adventure. As a Kokiri Child, he’ll never lose his childish side, no matter how old he gets and he brings that to his love.

Twilight is single and sad. In a perfect world, Twilight, Midna, and Dusk would be dating. Twilight and Dusk aren’t dating each other, they’re just both dating Midna. Twilight and Dusk are just good friends who love their shared goth girlfriend. Midna brings a chaos to both their lives that they didn’t know they needed until she brought it.

Wind is a child. He has a crush on Tetra…right now. That could change in a week or day, but right now he has a crush on the Pirate Queen of the Great Seas.

Legend is married to Ravio. Is there even any question about that? In the peak, ideal world (aka what I Headcannon), Legend is married to both Ravio and Marin. They live in Legend’s house and have an apple orchard. Legend makes instruments for Marin to play in Castle Town while Ravio sells the instruments Legend has made. They go on adventures together. Ravio and Marin are very flirty. Legend can be flirty, but he clams up a little when flustered. They each have a different love language. Ravio likes to give and receive gifts, Marin enjoys quality time, and Legend values physical touch. They all work to give and receive the others’ forms of love.

Hyrule and Aurora are in fact dating, but unless you’re directly told that, you wouldn’t know. They’re really chill with each other and act like two bros. Neither of them is especially keen on physical affection, especially in front of other people. They don’t make big deals of going on dates or getting gifts for each other. Most gifts given between the two are along the lines of ‘look at this cool rock I found and pocketed for you.’ They have a unique relationship and not many people understand it, but they do and that’s all that matters.

Warriors isn’t in a relationship. “Maybe he just hasn’t found the right person yet or maybe he’s just not looking.” That’s what people tell him, but he knows better. After everything with Cia, he’s not eager to jump into a relationship, now or ever really. That said, he is close with Athena (Artemis) and Impa. They’ll all gossip about people and vent about their week. Sometimes when Impa isn’t there, Warriors and Athena will talk about how Cia’s actions hurt them. They talk about how in reincarnations they never knew, their souls were in love and what that means for them. They’ve agreed that it won’t happen. Warriors admits that he’s sworn off relationships all together and Athena is the first person who doesn’t just say it’s temporary.

Wild…okay. Before Calamity Wild held back all his thoughts and feelings and didn’t allow himself to care about romance. Current Wild is heart broken. He only remembers bits and pieces of his life, but based on what he remembered, he loved Mipha. Now it’s too late though. He can finally recognize all his feelings for all the champions and now it’s too late. There are very few people who remember what he’s just trying to figure out. Wild and Flora are currently ‘dating.’ They’re not sure what they should call it, but they’re together. It’s not official and they can both see other people if they want. At the end of the day though, no one else understands their thoughts and feelings better than each other. No one else was in their positions. They find comfort in each other.
