austin powers: bisexual. the most bisexual person you'll ever meet actually. yowzers.
dr. evil: aromantic. not asexual, but he also doesn't have sex on the forefront a lot just because he's too busy trying to take over the world
scott evil: aroace. perhaps a lil bit of transmasc swag too
felicity: bisexual with a heavy preference for women
the fembots: lesbians. i have my reasonings
frau farbissina: canon that she slept with both men and women but i dont count dr. evil because he had austin's mojo at the time so. kind of an aphrodesiac. plus she said she'd never love a man again so. woe. lesbian beam be upon her and her girlfriend
number two: gay. why else would you be a henchmen for another man for four decades and take care of his son. crazy stuff
jerry springer: homophobic
i need to make a post / some notes fully detailing my austin powers sexuality headcanons..

austin powers is the movie trilogy of all time. sexpest spy from sexual revolution-era britain is frozen and comes back in the 90s to stop a bald guy named "dr. evil" who appears on the jerry springer show with his son in the sequel. despite sexpest spy being a sexpest, he still has high enough standards to not shag a drunk woman. the plot of the second movie involves dr. evil time travelling to extract libido from sexpest's dick. also mike myers plays like four characters throughout the trilogy, and they all talk to each other. yeah baby.

FIRE SONG 🔥🔥
Say what, say what?
Say what, say what?
Say what, say what?
I say what, say what? (My dick is bigger than yours)
Ooh, I say what, say what?
I say what, say what?
I say what, say what? (My band is bigger than yours)
Too bad, I got your beans in my bag
You stuck-up sucker, Korny motherfucker
Taking over flows is the Limp pimp
Need a Bizkit to save this crew from Jon Davis
I'm gonna drop a little east side skill
Ya best step back 'cause I'ma kill, I'ma kill
So, what you thinking, Mister raggedy man?
Doing all you can to look like Raggedy Ann
Check you out, punk, yes, I know you feel it
You look like one of those dancers from the Hanson video
You little faggot ho
Please give me some shit to work with
'Cause right now I'm all it, kid
Suck my dick, kid, like your daddy did
Who the fuck you think you're talking to? (Me)
I'm known for eating little whiny chumps like you (whatever)
All up in my face with that "are you ready?"
But halitosis is all you're rocking steady
You little fairy, smelling on your flowers
Nappy hairy chest, look, it's Austin Powers (aw, yeah, baby)
I hear ya tweetin' on them fag-pipes, clod
But you said it best, there's no place to hide
What the fuck ya saying? You're a pimp, whatever, Limp dick
Fred Durst needs to rehearse, needs to reverse what he's saying
Wanna be Funkdoobiest when you're playing
Ripping up a bad counterfeit, faking
Plus your bills, I'm paying
You can't eat that shit every day, Fred
Lay off the bacon (say what, say what?)
You better watch your fucking mouth, Jon
So, you hate me
And I hate you
You know what, you know what?
It's all in the family (yeah)
I hate you
And you hate me
You know what?
It's all in the family
Look at you, fool, I'm gonna fuck you up twice
Throwing rhymes at me like, oh shit, alright, Vanilla Ice
Ya better run, run while ya can (say what?)
Can never fuck me up, Bisc Limpkit (say what?)
At least I got a PHAT original band
Who's hot, who's not? (You)
You best step back, Korn on the cob (okay)
You need a new job (ha)
Time to take them mic skills
Back to the dentist and buy yourself a new grill (fuck you)
You pumpkin pie, I'll jack off in your eye
Climbing shoots and ladders, while your ego shatters
But you just can't get away (get a-gay)
Because it's doomsday, kid, it's doomsday
So, I hate you!
And you hate me
You know what, you know what?
It's all in the family (teah, yeah, you got it)
I hate you
And you hate me
You know what, you know what?
It's all in the family (yeah, yeah)
You call yourself a singer? (Yep)
You're more like Jerry Springer (oh, cool)
Your favorite band is Winger (Winger?)
And all you eat is Zingers
You're like a Fruity Pebble
Your favorite flag is rebel (yeehaw)
It's just too bad that you're a fag and on a lower level
So you're from Jacksonville, kicking it like Buffalo Bill
Getting butt-fucked by your uncle Chuck
While your sister's on her knees (oh yeah?)
Waiting for your little peanut
Wait, where'd you get that little dance? (Over here)
Like them idiots in Waco, you're burning up in Bako
Where your father had your mother
Your mother had your brother (nuh-uh)
It's just too bad your father's mad, your mother's now your lover
Come on, hillbilly
Can your horse do a fucking wheelie?
You love it down south and, boy
You sure do got a purdy mouth
I hate you
And you hate me
You know what, you know what? (Yeah)
It's all in the family (you got it, you got it)
And I hate you (yeah)
And you hate me
You know what, you know what?
It's all in the family (you got it, you got it)
And I love you
And I want you
And I'll suck you
And I'll fuck you
And I'll butt-fuck you
And I'll eat you
And I'll lick your little dick, motherfucker
Say what, say what, what, say what?

Spider-Woman 37 (April 1981)
Chris Claremont/Steve Leialoha, Terry Austin, Bob Wiacek, Alan Weiss, Al Milgrom, Frank Springer & Walter Simonson (!)
Welcome back to my X-Men blog, where we read ROM: Spaceknight, Spider-Man and the Fantastic Four and wonder where it all went wrong. Also, apparently, Spider-Woman!
Tumblr media
I tried to understand the history of the Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman character for this post and honestly I just gave up. As you can see from the fact that no fewer than seven people drew this issue, this title - introduced originally solely as a way of Marvel making sure nobody else created a Spider-Woman character - was a total mess, and at this point in time was briefly taken over by Chris Claremont, who used it, inevitably, as a way to start off some more X-Men storylines, which is why we're reading it. Also inevitably, he used the issue to fully rework Spider-Woman's backstory and the nature of her existence, which seems to be completely insane, but like I say, I give up. Go peruse the thriving Spider-Woman section of tumblr if you need the details.
Tumblr media
What is funny about all this is that in the middle of it Nick Fury's girlfriend shows up for literally two panels, shows the reader her pussy, and leaves. Incredible.
Tumblr media
That's all great but what the fuck does it have to do with the X-Men? Well, that's where the second half of this issue comes in. It's these fucking guys again.
Tumblr media
When I say "these fucking guys", by the way, what I mean is that Black Tom and Cain Marko are absolutely, 100% fucking. Masc4masc as hell. Anyway, the new girl is Tom's niece which makes her...yep...Banshee's daughter. [Exaggerated Irish voice] Ah jaysus. Here we go again with these feckers.
Tumblr media
Theresa - alias Siryn - has all her dad's powers but is apparently bad (for now) and a fight ensues, naturally: as you can see from the art, it's baffling and garish and presumably the result of seven artists trying to write one book. It doesn't improve when Juggernaut shows up.
Tumblr media
The baddies get away, further showdown next time, yadda yadda. The bit of this issue I actually found interesting comes before the final fight and doesn't involve the X-Men-universe characters at all, but nevertheless.
Tumblr media
Jessica goes to a party - she ends up kissing this David Ishima dude - and it's all extremely normal. Claremont was evidently doing some kind of complex reinvention of the character but he also managed to write fun, grounded, soapy scenes like this.
Tumblr media
The reason I mention it is that this is exactly what Dazzler was aiming for - relatable, romantic, everyday stuff alongside the heroics. Dazzler mostly fails, but it's interesting to see something from the same period take a better stab at it.

My dad and I watched the Austin Powers movies a lot together when I was probably too young to be watching them, and it was only recently that he learned the Jerry Springer parody was like, barely even satire. He actually brought a KKK member onto the show back in 1997 resulting in a brawl, only marginally less insane than the movie scene. And he couldn't believe that shit actually happened and wasn't just an edgy joke. But what really gets me is my stepmom, whomst has been married to this man for over 10 years now, who has heard the two of us quote this same scene over and over again, actually saw this episode when it aired on TV and never once mentioned it.

New Demigod Cabin: The Horae (Seasons)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Greek mythology refers to multiple groups as Horae, a name associated with the passage of time. The main triad consists of Thallo or Thalatte(Spring), Auxo or Auxesia (Summer), and Carpo (Autumn). As goddesses of the seasons they are closely associated with agriculture and often accompany Persephone. The Horae are also associated with flowers and beauty and in ancient times were sometimes conflated with the Charites. Both groups are part of the retinue of Aphrodite, who is described as wearing clothes made by them. In art, the Horae are often joined by Chione, the snow goddess daughter of Boreas (god of the cold north wind) and Orithyia (mountain winds), who represents winter. The Horae's cabin is essentially three connected cabins radiating from a small atrium. Each section is themed around a specific season, and the room temperatures are all separate and don't mingle. There are lots of scented candles and sticks of incense with smells associated with the different seasons. In the atrium are an ice-cream cooler and snack bin filled with goodies that are limited-time seasonal flavors like pumpkin, peppermint, and smores. In fights demigod children of the Horae can use nature and the air around them to induce a strong allergy attack, making it difficult for their opponents to focus and coordinate. The more dust and pollen there are in the air, the stronger the attack is. A Horae demigod's powers are also amplified during the season their mother is associated with. But seasons are determined by the sun and its position in relation to earth, so these demigods are weakest during the night, in the underground, or indoors with no natural light. Historical Demigods/Legacies Thallo: Antonio Vivaldi, Rachel Carson Auxo: Spyridon Louis, Cleveland Abbe, Calvin Coolidge Carpo: Bela Lugosi, Stepheno Martinelli Cabin Members Thallo: April Lush, Eva Springer, Vernon Mayfield Auxo: Rosalia Bolivar, June and Austin Summers Carpo: Sadie Akiyama, Ash and Oakley Erikson Head Counselor: Augustin Verano
