The title of "Mi" applies to whoever spent the most time with you, the term can shift. guys this is not an evolving tyrogue you don't get a hitmonlee or a hitmonchan based off one stat being higher and if you balance the stats you get a secret third pokemon

Kitten may keep Mi for the first parent, because they're used to it. They might feel closer to their Ba after they took over and begin calling them Mi, because they don't remember their first moon very well. Ba might correct this behavior and insist they're Ba, out of love or respect for their mate and their previous role in raising this child.

In the eyes of the Clan, whoever is primarily in charge of the child is Mi. When the Cleric is treating wounds on a kitten who wandered off and got hurt, you don't go Um Ackshually when they bellow "FETCH THEIR MI." You go get the cat who was responsible for the child's safety.

Mi is primary caretaker, expected to tend to the physical needs of the kit and handle its early development. They move into the nursery and do less (or no) warrior duties, so they can do that effectively. So there is one Mi.

doesn't mean Ba is uninvolved. doesn't mean they aren't close to their kits. doesn't mean they don't support their co-parent.

Start calling them Miba or Bami and the Clan will think the parents are bizarrely insecure. Even a patrol only has one head-- why can't parents work out something as important as who will be the Mi of their child?

I am so JoJo(ba)pilled rn so here I am, rambling about a jojo AU that’s been on my mind (also, to preface this: I’ve been watching the series out of order, I started with Golden Wind, went to Stone Ocean and all that’s left is eight episodes of Stardust Crusaders, so my jojo knowledge is a bit lacking but whatever)

Anyway, post part 6 AU where after Jolyne dies to Pucci, she wakes up in the past right before the events of part 3 takes place. Like, Jotaro has freshly put himself in jail and Holly’s taken in Jolyne.

Like, imagine from Jolyne’s perspective, 90% of her friends, including her dad who’s basically been her entire motivation for practically everything in the series, has just died, and she just has to hope to whatever kind of fate that exists that Emporio, this eleven year old kid that’s basically her younger brother at this point, will make it out alive. She lets go, and she expects herself to have died, but then…

She wakes up. Blinking awake she blurrily sees a woman with blonde hair, and her first thought is, “grandma…?”

Only to then fully wake up and realize oh shit she’s not dead???

And then, wait, Grandma??? She looks way too young??? wtf???

So yeah, then Jolyne becomes a Stardust Crusader, trying to keep the fact that she’s Jotaro’s daughter from the future and secret and also vaguely knowing plot points due to Jotaro’s memory disc

my most cringe selfshipper behaviour: If I'm feeling mentally understimulated and my irl partner can't walk + talk with me for whatever reason, I get in my car and I drive around with my Duke playlist on and I pretend he's in the back of my car. literally he's my imaginary friend and I have one-sided convos with him like I am 6 years old. I think I said Rook had the simplest design, but I lied, it's Zoe. They're the scrawniest of the six, most notable in how long and thin their fingers and wrists are. They have a wide and prominent nose, and a very rectangular face. They have 4C hair which they usually keep short. However, when they're feeling up to it they'll put in braids (it's a case of the stars aligning; have a super 'fem' day and not feeling lazy lol).

Their fashion style is pretty casual, and they like anything roomy/flowy/baggy. It could also lean into Y2K/hippie fashion as well, although that's more present on fem days. Most of the colors they wear are earthy and soft, with a lot of greens, blues, and neutrals. They also really like accessories , but the only one ones they wear consistently are earrings. They wear makeup sometimes as well, but it's not very often.
