if suzanne were to write more about the hunger games series i ask nothing more but a little short story about tigris and snow's relationship falling apart
she loved him so much, her "baby cousin", she did so many things so he could live and in the end she smiled at the thought of his death
i have a theory it probably started when he became a gamemakers and began with all of the changes so the games would be more exciting to watch since tigris was always against the games, but i want suzanne's views on this so much!
Eleanor Fortescue-Brickdale (British, 1872–1945) • The Little Foot-Page • 1905 • Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool, England
The work is based on the story of Burd Helen, a tragic heroine from Scottish balladry, who dressed as a boy page to follow her cruel lover on foot while he rode on horseback. After bearing him a child, she was finally acknowledged by him and they married. Here she is shown secretly doffing her female attire and cutting her long hair, in preparation for her journey. Within a few years of the exhibition, modern female art students were cutting their hair in "page boy" style.
Do you ever think of Sejanus Plinth, the boy from district 2 who blatantly spoke against the Capitol and Hunger Games, and so deeply loved his friend who made him believe he could bring change only to flash forward a few decades and his district thinks of Hunger Games as a form of glory, and they're blindly loyal to the Capitol, just like he was to Coriolanus
