the grey’s doctors were FREAKS LMFAOO bc there is not space to be doing all that in the on call rooms…. honestly yuuta is probably too busy to even try anything with you in the hospital 90% of the time… he’s either in surgery or buried in the research library or falling asleep standing up 😭 sometimes you two pass each other in an empty stairwell and have time for a kiss or two, but never more than that (also because yuuta has very little self-restraint when it comes to you… if he allowed himself more than that, then it would be much harder to stop…) 

sometimes the two of you will fall asleep in the same on call room. yuuta will page you there and by the time you arrive he’s already half asleep, it’s probably his only nap in the last 24 hours, so you do your best not to wake wake him when you cuddle up next to him. you get a few hours of bliss in his arms before his pager is waking the both of you up, and he’s got to scurry downstairs to the peds floor and in his hurry he doesn’t realize he’s snagged your lab coat instead of his own, and it’s only when he’s haphazardly slipped it on and the arms are too short and the shoulders are too tight that he figures it out. it’s too late by then, because gojo is the attending on this case which means he doesn’t miss anything, which means he’s the first to giggle and tease, poking at your name embroidered above the breast pocket, “oh? i didn’t know the two of you got married already! oh and you took her last name, how noble, yuuta!~”

Imagine an alternate universe in which Sukuna triumphs, dominates over Japan, and endures a lonely existence for many centuries, while allowing some humans to live.

They hold a grudge against him, of course, and want to kill him. They train at Jujutsu High and have some great fighters that occasionally provide Sukuna with some entertainment. 

They are so desperate for salvation, they can only find solace in prophecies about a figure with powerful blue eyes that will defeat the king of curses and rescue Japan.

And do you know what Sukuna does in response to that? One might expect him to go full Pharoah mode and kill newborns, but NO!!

HE DOES THE COMPLETE OPPOSITE !!

Whenever he ravages a village and devours the women and children, he ALWAYS spares the blue-eyed infants.

All the curses know better than to kill an infant with blue eyes. The last time a curse did that, Sukuna made sure to make an example of it.

Killing a member of the Gojo clan is also off limits, as well as anything that could delay the reincarnation of this certain person.

These humans are not the only ones waiting for salvation.

Sukuna is also WAITING...for his wretched existence to end at the hands of this person.

The ONLY one worthy of having the honor to do so.

Jason Angst - Immediately Post Death

Tw: blood, death, violence

Jason had died in that warehouse. Not from the wounds quickly losing blood, not from the explosion, and not from the building collapsing on top of him. Jason died in a small pocket of concrete as the smoke and dust slowly choked him and depleted his oxygen.

He was fifteen.

He knew his dad wouldn't be able to save him.

He knew the Joker would use Jason's death to torment his father.

It was a cruel way to die. It was painful and lonely. Despite that, Jason felt relief.

If the child had a choice, he would go home to his dad. His brother would be there, would ruffle his hair, as their grandfather placed a meal in front of them. This was the older man's quiet way of proving his love and affection for the family. If Jason had a choice, he would go home.

He didn't, though. He was dying, and he knew he wouldn't be saved. It sucks, it's so fucking unfair, but Jason had hope. With his death, Gotham would change. Bruce would have the motivation, no matter how cruel it is, to change the city. He would enact progress in honor of his dead son. The Joker wouldn't hurt anyone else ever again.

Jason's body was broken. He couldn't find his breath, but maybe he could find peace knowing his death would help Gotham.

Let's make one thing clear and that is that Kipperlilly Copperkettle would be a horrible teenager in every universe, but in her specific setting she was right. The universe does revolve around the Bad Kids, bc they are literally the protagonists. And she correctly identified a way to become important in that universe -- by becoming a villain. But Brennan did that totally by accident and therefore there's no engagement with that concept whatsoever

Yay, here’s that other Cinderella AU art I’ve been working on...a proper “happily-ever-after” image for the newly crowned King Cosimo “Orion” Amari and the “Maiden of the Glass Slipper,” Queen Carewyn Cromwell!

I imagined this as being a “portrait” hung up in Florence’s palace for many, many years after these two’s deaths, hence the “symbolism” in some of their fashion choices -- Orion decked out in Florence’s flag’s color scheme (green and gold) while Carewyn is dressed in Royaume’s (red and blue), since she was born and raised there; Carewyn wearing a crown-inspired earring both reminiscent of Royaume’s flag crest and held in Orion’s hand, since her role as queen was something she inherited through marrying him; and finally the “glass slipper” on Carewyn’s foot poking out from under her dress. In the last’s case, I headcanon that Florence’s people was so charmed by the tale of their future queen saving their king’s life that Carewyn was gifted many such “glass slippers” over the years by her subjects and courtiers, decorated with everything from real glass to diamonds. Most of them weren’t comfortable enough to actually wear, but Carewyn still accepted every such gift with grace and gratitude. Carewyn’s wearing her hair loose -- something she started doing a lot more often after finally being free to be with Orion -- and Orion and Carewyn are also both wearing the matching gold and emerald coronets they first wore on their wedding day, so as to signify their equality as partners and their shared desire to be approachable to peasants and noblemen alike. And indeed, their legacy after death was as two of the wisest and kindest rulers Florence had ever had, instilling financial and legal reforms and investing in higher education, and were survived in future generations by a new port city rife with trade and commerce named for their friend and ally King Andre of Royaume; a crown-protected nature reserve; multiple hospitals, courthouses, libraries, and orphanages; and a university named for the queen’s brother.

Orion’s outfit was partially inspired by this painting by Giovanni Battista Moroni from the 16th century, with a capelet appropriate to the period. Meanwhile Carewyn’s was inspired by this beautiful dress worn by Olivia Hussey in the 1968 film production of Romeo and Juliet, though with a different color palette!

its so weird to read some of my old fics (do NOT do it but i'm just being hypothetical rn) and reading it. like who even was this person?? i completely was in a haze back in 2020. i literally was posting 3 chapters a day. A DAY. what in the WORLD was that shit.

anyway i remembered some STUPID sappy shit and i didnt remember if i'd put it into a fic or not BUT I FOUND IT.

She and Hope had been dating in secret for months anyway, and any attempt to go talk to Ryan only filed her disposition of displeasure upon knowing that she couldn’t tell anyone, Molly especially, it destroyed herself mentally. They couldn’t really go anywhere near the school, always having to lie to everyone about having projects together when Molly wasn’t around them. It’d consisted with 9 PM - 2 AM intervals of being able to actually see each other. Hope would sneak through her small bedroom window with a portable record player and whatever she had gotten from the vintage record store downtown, and Amy would always fall asleep around eleven because of her internal clock. She would always wake up to find a single sticky note stuck on the edge of her desk whenever she woke up to her alarm the next morning. One of them, Amy still had tucked inside of her phone case, a heavily detailed human heart, with blue and red ink sketched onto a neon pink sticky note, there was a caption that headed the small paper reading the phrase over every now and again makes her almost melt every time. “You have my heart.”

yeah idk why the fuck but i thought of this fucking idea again today and i was like "omg did i ever put that heart note thing in a fic???" yeah you fucking did.

well, now that that's over, i wanna get sentimental and say i'm grateful to everyone on here that i've gotten to know this season. before may of this year, i literally knew nothing about baseball (i thought the batter and the catcher were on the same team, that's how clueless i was lol), but i needed something to fill my time while waiting for hockey to come back, so i spent a week learning as many rules as i could - and now we're here! thank you guys for coming along with me on this ride, it's been a delight <3
