Maybe this is too broad of a question, but do you have a favorite Barbie? Or a top 10?

I have answered this before but it is a tricky one because there are SO many Barbies that my answer changes depending on my mood.

I don't remember what I said last time and I am deliberately not looking because I don't want my decision right now to be informed by that.

A toptier choice for me as a longstanding favourite is Princess of Ireland.

I also really love the Barbie Extra line and I think my favourite of those is this one.

I have another gig in a week and I'm so nervous 😭 I get paid hundreds of dollars for only five hours of work, but it is so nerve-racking and the work environment is so stressful, like literally every time I'm there I'm on the verge of tears or I have to take a 2 minute break before the show starts just to run to the restrooms and cry bc I get so stressed out. And then when I clock out I just cry my eyes out in my car while driving home. But hey!!! Hundreds of dollars!!! For five or six hours of my time!!! Only a few days a month!!! Hundreds!!! Of dollars!!! So it would be totally stupid to quit.

I wouldn't have been able to afford pampering myself on my last two F/O anniversaries (and currently placing an order for a rose bouquet for Six's anniversary for the 18th) if I didn't have this second job... but if it didn't pay me such a large amount of money each time, I probably would have quit by now bc it makes me so damn anxious. The show isn't even for one week and I'm sitting here stressing about it! I have one thousand other things to stress about and this job shouldn't be one of 'em 😤

I just keep trying to think about Ken hugging me while saying "Aw, sweet girl, don't be nervous! You JUST started this job, you've only worked three shows -- you think you're gonna be perfect your first try?? You're gonna be so good once you get the hang of it. Just look at me! I've been doing Beach for 62 years now, and I still don't know what my job is supposed to be... but I know I look So Cool™ 😎"

Alright fellas, I’m to customize a dolly for the first time. I love doing this fun stuff without any sort of practice. Here’s my progress so far:

This is the girl I started out with. Let me tell you, this sharpie was SO fucking stubborn

I tried everything! Acetone, alcohol, stain remover, baking soda. Absolutely nothing worked. Eventually I ended up sanding off half of her face to at least get off her eyebrows

Then I found some spray primer in the garage and

IT WAS WHITE!! WHY??

but mistakes are just happy accidents, so I ended up with this

Is she a little wonky? A little crunchy? Yes. But I still love her, she’s pretty cutesy

Currently, Mattel has a Barbie line on the market they're calling Barbie Extra and Barbie Extra Fancy.

These are Barbies who are packaged with additional accessories and clothing items and with designs in bright colours.

And frankly, they serve.

Barbie herself is wearing a pink pleather dress which is kind of incredible. Her little pink poodle with star shaped glasses is one of the coolest things that I have seen.
