my roommate is chill most of the time but boy is she getting on my nerve.previous nitpicking aside tonight I decided to be responsible, I'm two short shifts down with three (minimum) full to go so I made tosdadas for the house after work, cleaned up, hung out with a coworker and a housemate while roomier napped, then I went to sleep around 9:30pm (she'd woken up by then).

She incessantly keeps her light on and I left it in case she wouldn't be out of the room longest she came in periodically talking to herself and trying to talk to me (I was in a light sleep) but she'd say to herself like should I turn the light off for her? Nah.

Finally at midnight I got up turned the light off and fell into a deep sleep... that was disrupted as she came in loudly drunk at 1am. I fitfully drifted until 3:30am when she (still talking to herself) said "and my roommates pretending to be asleep" at which point I snapped that I HAD been asleep until she came in woke me up and kept TALKING.

(I just told her earlier on that conversations and talking are the number one thing to wake me up and that I sleep without light. I compromised on a night light day 1 and use an eye pillow - her leaving the light on is a regular occurrence)

Butfucking with my sleep when we both work in the morning is tap dancing on my last nerve.

And she can't keep staying up this late drunk and then complaining at work all day and being on her phone. Also she's older than me.
