Empower Your Child’s Future with Clevered's Coding for Kids in Dubai
In today’s rapidly evolving digital world, understanding technology is no longer optional—it's essential. At Clevered, we believe that the future belongs to those who can create with technology, not just consume it. That’s why we’ve designed a dynamic, hands-on Coding for Kids program in Dubai, tailored specifically for young learners between the ages of 6 to 16.
Our mission? To unlock your child’s creativity, sharpen their problem-solving skills, and ignite a lifelong passion for innovation—one line of code at a time.
Why Coding Matters for Kids
Before children learn to code, they learn to think. Coding teaches kids how to break problems down, identify patterns, and build logical solutions. More than just programming, it's about developing the 21st-century skills—critical thinking, collaboration, communication, and creativity.
In the UAE, especially in a forward-looking city like Dubai, digital literacy is becoming an integral part of early education. With the UAE Vision 2031 emphasizing AI, digital transformation, and smart education, coding isn't just a skill—it’s asuperpower.
At Clevered, we’re not just teaching kids how to code; we’re preparing them to be future innovators, entrepreneurs, and leaders in a tech-driven world.
Why Choose Clevered in Dubai?
Dubai is a global hub of innovation, technology, and education. At Clevered, we’ve aligned our vision with the city’s ambitious goals. Here’s what makes our Coding for Kids in Dubai program truly stand out:
1. Curriculum Designed by Global Experts
Our coding courses are curated by a team of top educators and software engineers from institutions like MIT, Stanford, and IIT. We blend global pedagogy with local relevance, ensuring each session is both enriching and exciting.
From Scratch programming for beginners to Python, Web development, AI, and Robotics—we cover it all.
2. Age-Appropriate Learning Paths
We believe every child learns differently. That’s why our coding programs are segmented into different age groups:
Junior Coders (6–8 years): Fun, visual programming with Scratch Jr. and animation.
Intermediate Coders (9–12 years): Game development, app design, and intro to Python.
Advanced Coders (13–16 years): Python, AI, Web development, Data Science, and real-world projects.
3. Live Online & Offline Classes Across Dubai
Whether you prefer the convenience of online learning or the energy of a classroom, Clevered gives you the flexibility to choose. Our live online classes are interactive and personalized, while our physical learning centers across Dubai offer high-tech labs and hands-on mentorship.
4. Project-Based Learning
Children learn best by doing. At Clevered, coding is taught through exciting projects—game development, building chatbots, designing websites, creating animations, and even programming robots. These aren’t just tasks—they’re stepping stones to innovation.
5. Certified Instructors & Mentors
Our instructors are not just teachers—they’re mentors. Each one is certified, background-verified, and trained to work with children. They inspire curiosity, encourage creativity, and guide kids through every coding milestone.
Coding Programs at Clevered – What’s Inside?
Here’s a glimpse into our core modules offered at Clevered’s Dubai coding centers and online platform:
1. Introduction to Coding (Scratch)
Perfect for young learners, this module helps kids understand how coding works by dragging and dropping visual blocks. Kids build their own stories, animations, and games while learning sequencing, loops, and logic.
2. App Development for Kids
Kids learn how to design and develop simple apps using Thunkable and MIT App Inventor, turning their ideas into usable tools. Whether it's a calculator app or a digital diary, they build with purpose.
3. Python Programming
Python is the world's most popular beginner language. Kids explore real-world programming concepts like variables, conditionals, functions, and loops. Ideal for ages 10+.
4. Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
Yes, kids can learn AI! Through simple, child-friendly interfaces, students learn the basics of machine learning, facial recognition, and more.
5. Web Development
HTML, CSS, and JavaScript—the holy trinity of the web. Kids learn how to build their own websites, blogs, and portfolios.
6. Robotics & IoT
Combining hardware with software, this module introduces kids to sensors, motors, and microcontrollers like Arduino and Raspberry Pi—offered at selected centers in Dubai.

Random headcannons for the Bachelors and Bachelorettes
Tbh, I have nothing today... so here's some scattered headcannons
If the A.S.S crew (Abigail, Sam, Sebastian) isn't available and Maru is busy, Haley is probably the best person to go to for computer troubles. She's done enough shopping online to know at least a little bit about computers to help a little.
Haley, Alex, and Sam used to hang out a lot as kids because they all lost their parents at the same-ish time. Now, when Sam can't hang out with Abigail or Sebastian, he hangs out with those two.
Alex and Shane trade around sports trading cards. Shane has a massive collection (it's probably one of the few well-kept things in his room)
Elliott taught Seb how to play the piano (They’re the only people in town who know to play a keyboard)
Harvey, Leah, and Elliott build models together. Elliott builds ships, Harvey builds planes, and Leah whittles.
Penny has tried running dnd games at the community center to break out of her shell (It’s kinda working)
Emily and Haley both used to take dance classes as kids, and they hated the classes but still love to dance.
Leah hangs out with Maru to learn how to make animatronics
Sebastian helped Maru code her robot from her 10 heart event. He didn't know what she was building, but he helped because she looked like she was struggling.
Penny, Leah, Elliott, and Harvey all have a book club.
Emily helped Abigail dye her hair the first time before it became permanently purple.
Haley and Alex share hair products.
Harvey knows Sebastian smokes weed because they have the same dealer. (Being the only doctor in town is stressful.)

Okay so. A lot of people have been making cute little dungeon meshi aus where it's modern, but specifically the cast lives in one place. Figured I should maybe share mine?
Anyways. Dungeon Meshi but it's midwestern.
-Senshi, i think, is a regular presence in the church but is the kind of christian that the pastor has beef with. He has an apron with two fish and five loaves of bread on it, and can be found at pretty much every barbecue and church potluck. No one's sure if he's really devoted to jesus or just heard the story of a guy feeding an entire crowd and started showing up to church to feed people. He has caused two married men to have their bisexual awakenings.
-The town they all live in has an extremely high density of restaurants, meaning the only thing to do around there is go out to eat. The gang goes out to eat new places a lot together!
-Izutsumi is a warrior cats kid who was probably bullied for hissing and biting the other kids. The gang recognizes that she's not mean, she's just badly socialized and also seventeen. She lives in a group home, but has been running away less ever since she got promised regular meals.
-Related: Chilchuk is a union guy who is covertly making sure every restaurant they go to is up to code. He keeps shutting down places for not having adequate safety measures for their employees.
-Izutsumi has decided she's going to hang out with Chilchuk sometimes and will stop by his workplace. He's insistent that he's not adopting any more children, but has been teaching her how to budget, how to lie convincingly enough to get a job, and the most ethical places to shoplift from with the fewest risks because she's going to steal things anyways.
-Marcille has never been to a cornfield in her life. She's a Chicago kid, who really misses her deep dish pizza and that really good Italian place, but she's here to study some rare microorganisms.
-Marcille studies a very weird field of medicine that involves looking for medical uses in odd places. She's looking to eliminate class divides in lifespan by trying to find more affordable medicines for diseases that primarily affect the lower class.
-Her father died of asbestos poisoning from working in unsafe conditions when she was a kid, so she's especially alert for it, and gets a little neurotic around flu season.
-Laios and Falin used to go to the creek behind their house all the time to catch crawdads, and sometimes he'll still do it for old time's sake.
-Laios flunked out of college because they couldn't handle his autism rizz. He's going to trade school for the culinary arts, but he keeps trying to cook things he shouldn't.
-Laios checked out the massive dragon books from the library and cried when he found out they weren't real.
-He does furry commissions online, but he's not the best with customer negotiations and keeps wondering how many nipples someone's fursona has. Chilchuk helped him build his profile to appeal to commissioners who like speculative biology.
-Falin watched her brother flunk and went "hm, I think I will not." she's an apprentice at a local gardening shop. You think she's a normal sweet cottagecore kind of girl but then she starts gushing about soil nutrients and sustainability and you realize. Oh. Oh this is the kind of girl who would romanticize being buried under a tree and having it consume her bones.
-Laios wears shirts with anatomically correct dinosaur skeletons on them, but he has to order them online and frequently complains that there are no good clothing shops nearby. Senshi heard him say this, and introduced him to fabric paint.

Ooh, menial jobs for the miracuclass? Have my headcanons on generic teenage work everyone does for spending money!
Nino: I take his interest in directing/filming and specifically make him an indie film enjoyer so that he knows about Emilie and can connect with Adrien over it. He works at a movie theater to get discounts on his tickets. He also is available to hire as an amateur DJ for parties, and mostly ends out doing school dances or kids birthdays due to his low rates and small name.
Alya: Currently unemployed because they just moved and also the magical terrorism, but she eventually picks up a gig as a clerk at a beauty store.
Kim: Mostly just runs with his allowance or mooches off his friends, but he does work as a lifeguard during the summer and teaches little kids swim classes.
Max: Makes bank off of proofreading code/tutoring college students. Critically, this is only applicable in coding. One of his students asked if he could help with his literature essay and Max was like "I have not willingly read fiction since I was 5, say nothing about classic literature. Also I'm 16."
Nathaniel: Works at the art supply store where he buys all his stuff. Mostly in charge of stock because he's terrible with customers, but the owner likes him, so they find things for him to do.
Rose: Currently unemployed, but she does a ton of volunteer work for non-profit children's charities (especially around the hospital), and mostly relies on her allowance. Her medical disorder makes it harder to hold down a job because she gets most of her episodes after a long day of school. Eventually, one of the charities she works for offers her offers her a paid position doing some of their paperwork. This is both not too physically demanding on her and gives her a job with a VERY understanding group of people who knows she's a fantastic worker when she can be and don't begrudge her needs for breaks and calling out.
Juleka: Makeup artist for a local theatre troupe during the summer (that Mylene is also involved in), but that's more a hobby that doesn't pay a whole bunch. She makes most of her money by salvaging shit from the river, and then sells it online.
Ivan: Record store! He showed up to the interview in his usual attire and they were like "oh you're perfect for this," and got hired almost instantly.
Mylene: Animal shelter worker!
Alix: She's rich, but her dad very heavily encourages her and Jalil to get jobs anyway so they can have some work experience. She puts her skating skills to good use as a waiter at a restaurant.
Sabrina: She very seldom needs extra cash because her best friend is Chloe who is happy to buy her anything, but between her dad encouraging her to get involved in the community to help out and her and Chloe eventually agreeing they need away time from each other, she gets a job as a papery delivery girl. She also picks up a job at the local library when she starts wanting more actual money.
Chloe: Once she does enough work on herself to realize she is 1) an abuse victim and 2) has no money not attached to her parents and no work skills, she decides she needs a job. Unfortunately, most postions available to teens are customer service which she is INCREDIBLY unequipped for. Fortunately though the class works together to cast a wide net for job searching, and there is a nearby 24-hour coffee shop that needs someone with a strong personality to handle their night shift. Chloe works there during the summer and it does fuck her sleep schedule. The manager is so grateful to have someone who's legally untouchable when she judo flips the creepy pervs, that they're willing to coach her through her other eccentricities. She comes into the next school year much more capable of doing customer service and with much better people skills in general.
Adrien: Technically already has money from his modeling, but Tom hires him at the bakery in case he needs a source of income separate from his dad (plus it means Marinette and Adrien get to spend more time together). He's promised not to fire him if he and Mari ever break up and help him find another job (unless he does something really awful). Sabine has made no such promises and starts aggressively rolling dough whenever the subject of Adrien and Mari breaking up gets discussed. Adrien feels appropriately threatened.
Hell yeah

Here are some of my Stiles Stilinski Headcanons.
1. General Headcanons
2. Post-Void Headcanons
3. Stiles x Zaida (oc) Headcanons
General:
- Stiles has mainstream social media accounts (Instagram, TikTok, etc) but he barely uses them. He would have a few posts of himself with his friends and significant other, but he would not be regularly active. He’d mainly use those apps to scroll and send videos and memes to his friends.
- Stiles would be more active on other platforms where he joins conspiracy theory groups/pages and also geeks out about his interests.
- Stiles is a skateboarder. We saw a big image of a skateboarder on his bedroom wall in the early Teen Wolf seasons, so I believe Stiles has always been into skateboarding. When he was a kid he’d skateboard at the front of the house on the street and he’d come home all banged up from tricks he attempted. He would keep trying until he learned them. He kept skateboarding into his teen years until the supernatural took over and he didn’t have time anymore.
- Stiles would also be a huge gamer. He’d love combat games but also mystery and adventure games. He would also play horror games. He and Scott used to stay up gaming online with one another before the supernatural took over. They still do play sometimes when they get time and it’s a way to wind down and de-stress.
- Stiles would totally play Dungeons and Dragons. In season two he told Allison he was part of an online gaming community that battled mythical creatures - D&D would be right up his ally.
- Stiles loves bright and sunny days with a cool breeze. He was a really active kid and those were the best days to get out of the house. He remembers outings he went on with his Mom before she got sick, family days they’d spend at parks or walking through the Preserve. After his Mom got sick, he’d spend those days with Scott, playing on the street. Then after his Mom passed away and he moved into his teen years, he’d spend them running around town, skating, and messing around with Scott.
- Stiles doesn’t get a lot of sleep. He used to find it hard to sleep as a kid, and his Mom would read him comic books to get him to fall asleep. Sometimes it would work, other times it wouldn’t. Eventually, she got him a new pillow and told him it was a magic pillow that would help him sleep. After his Mom passed away he would get pretty bad nightmares, but his magic pillow helped. As he got older he knew the pillow wasn’t magic, but it reminded him of his Mom, and that was enough to help him get to sleep. He now can’t sleep without it.
- Stiles has always been morally grey. He breaks the law frequently, he advocates for resolving things with violence (even murder on occasion), he has always been a rule breaker. Part of it is a game/challenge to him - to see how far he can take it, to see what he is capable of. The other part is that he runs on his own personal moral code. His morals lie in loyalty to his friends. He would do anything to protect them.
- Stiles has ADHD and Generalised anxiety disorder. He later developes PTSD (post-void).
- Due to his ADHD, he was often labelled a trouble-child or a bad student, or the class clown. His parents were his biggest advocates, but Stiles saw their struggles. He feels like he was a difficult kid and that he was a burden to his parents.
- This feeling only worsens when his Mom gets sick and then passes away. He feels like he could have had more time with her if he wasn’t so difficult and didn’t stress her out with all of his problems. This is why in season 2 he hallucinates his father telling him it was his fault his mother died and that he would end up killing the Sheriff too.
- It’s because of this that he is so adamant on taking care of his father. He worried about losing his dad too, but he also doesn’t want to be a burden.
- This weighs heavily on him when he gets involved with the supernatural and it starts affecting his father’s job.
- Stiles is big on nostalgia. He loves anything and everything that reminds him of his Mom and of his childhood before she got sick. It’s why he loves the Jeep that Claudia used to drive him around in.
- It’s also why he loves 80’s music. His Mom used to put it on when they drove around or on road trips, or when she cooked. She would sing and dance. She’d pester Noah until he gave in and sung and danced with her and Stiles would watch and smile because he loved seeing how in love his parents were. Eventually they’d pull him in to dance too.
- Stiles loves 80’s music. He loves listening to it in the car and on late night drives and road trips. He plays the music full blast.
- He sings along (very loudly and rather badly) and headbangs and plays air guitar during guitar solos. He also will bang on anything - like it’s a drum kit - along to the beat.
- He loves AC/DC and Bon Jovi, but his guilty pleasures are the 80’s girlies like Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, Stevie Nicks, Pat Benatar, etc.
- He also loves ABBA
-His love of the 80’s doesn’t stop at music. He’s a huge film buff. We already know he loves Star Wars, but he would be totally into The Goonies, Toy Soldiers, Gremlins, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, Back to the Future, Stand By Me, The Breakfast Club, Top Gun, Beetlejuice, Ghost Busters, Princess Bride, E.T, Dirty Dancing (romance movies are also his guilty pleasure), Die Hard, The Labyrinth, The Neverending Story, Indiana Jones, Predator, The Terminator, Friday the 13th, The Shining, etc
- He’s a superhero nerd and prefers DC to Marvel. He would very passionately join online debates about which superhero cinematic universe is better.
- When he was a kid he would dress up as a superhero every Halloween (usually Batman). His Mom and Melissa would take him and Scott trick or treating and make their costumes. Scott would usually be Superman.
- Stiles plays the drums, and he plays them very well. He and Scott tried to start a band when they were in their early teen years, but no one wanted to join. Scott would play guitar, obviously. Noah and Melissa still have some embarrassingly cute home videos of their performances in the Stilinskis’ garage.
- Claudia and Melissa were great friends and knew each other from school. It’s how Scott and Stiles met.
- Stiles cannot cook for the life of him, and neither can Noah. Claudia was a great cook, and had a book of recipes passed down from her family. Neither Noah or Stiles can ever follow them correctly, so they always end up ordering out. This is why we see them eating so much fast food in the show.
- Stiles loves horror movies, especially older ones. But he loves that they scare Scott more. When the boys would have sleepovers as kids and it was Stiles’ turn to choose the movie, he’d always choose a horror movie because he found it hilarious when Scott would try to hide that he was hiding behind a pillow. Or that he wanted to sleep with the light on afterwards.
- Stiles has always been one to sleep in. Once he is asleep, it is very hard to wake him up.
Post-Void Headcanons:
- Stiles struggled a lot with nightmares and panic attacks after the events of season 3B.
- Sleep becomes even harder for him. Sometimes, when his nightmares get really bad, he wakes up in a panic thinking that the Nogitsune is back or that he never really went away.
- He carries a lot of guilt for his actions, and he always will.
- Deaton said that sacrificing themselves to find the Nemeton would darken their souls, but Stiles felt it the worst out of the three. After Void, he never felt the same. A part of him died. That happy, hyperactive kid with the buzz cut was gone after that. He lost his childhood innocence completely.
- Stiles blames himself for Allison and Aiden’s deaths. He feels responsible.
- Void was the beginning of the deterioration of Stiles and Scott’s friendship.
- Stiles pulls away from Scott because he thinks Scott is resentful/blames him for losing Allison. He knows Scott looks at him differently/sees him differently now.
- Stiles deals with his trauma alone. He doesn’t want to burden the rest of the gang but he also feels like none of them would understand.
- Stiles’ trauma causes him to become more distrusting, especially because he sees Scott fall victim to being too trusting time and time again. This only adds to the tension between them in season 5.
- Scott holds onto a lot of PTSD from the events of 3B (getting stabbed, losing Allison, Aiden dying, the chaos and death). It’s not conscious but he does think and feel differently about Stiles after that. He saw how easy it was for Stiles to be a villain - and an effective villain. He knows if Stiles snaps or turns it would be bad news. He knows what Stiles is capable of. He’s wary. He knows Stiles has always been morally grey and he is so wary about that that can lead to. He holds onto this until season 5, and that is why it’s so easy for Theo to play on that to turn Scott against Stiles. It’s only after season 5 and before season 6 that Scott and Stiles talk about all of this unresolved trauma and get their friendship back on track.
Stiles headcanons with my OC from my ‘Rising Tides’ fanfic:
- Stiles loves that Zaida is significantly shorter than him. He adores resting his head on top of hers when he hugs her and when they cuddle. He also loves teasing her about her height because it annoys her, but she secretly loves how tall he is too. She loves feeling safe and protected when he wraps his arms around her.
- Stiles also loves that Zaida is a bigger girl. He finds her body really attractive and loves all of her soft curves (he’s totally an ass AND boob man). Zaida knows this and she is very confident in flaunting it (and using it to get her way)
- Zaida loves that Stiles can always make her laugh. She seriously thinks he’s the funniest person on the planet, and Stiles loves making her laugh.
- Staida love having movie nights. They are both geeks and film buffs. Zaida shares Stiles’ love for 80’s films and other franchises like Star Wars. She introduced him to more modern fandoms like Harry Potter and T.V shows, whilst he shares with her some of the older stuff like Indiana Jones.
- They occasionally game together. Things like Mario Kart, Mario bros, Zelda, FNAF.
- There are some games Zaida doesn’t like as much, like the combat games he plays with Scott. So when he plays those Zaida reads her books.
- Zaida is a great cook. She often will come over to the Stilinski House and cook for Stiles and Noah, even before she and Stiles started dating. They love her food, and they love having home cooked meals again. It reminds them both of when Claudia was still alive.
- After Stiles and Zaida get together, she finds Claudia’s recipe book and cooks something for them. Noah and Stiles both start crying and she’s worried she ruined the food but they tell her it’s actually because it’s a comfort food Claudia used to make and it tastes the same.
- Stiles and Zaida love to cook together. Stiles will often put on some music and abandon the food to pull Zaida into a dance, just like he loves watching his parents do. They have a habit of burning the food.
- Zaida hates driving. Whenever they’re in the car together, Stiles will drive.
- Zaida has a habit of falling asleep during car rides, but when she’s not asleep, she’s blasting music and jamming out with Stiles.
- Noah really loves Zaida. He thinks she’s perfect for Stiles and loves how happy she makes his son. He sees a bit of himself in her, just like he sees a lot of Claudia in Stiles. Their relationship reminds him of himself and Claudia. But he does know that Stiles and Zaida encourage each others meddling and investigative spirits, so in that case he thinks she and Stiles are a bad influence on each other. He’s very worried about how his grandchildren will turn out - but in the best way.
- When Stiles sleeps with Zaida, he doesn’t need his pillow. He loves to lay his head on her (on her shoulder, or chest, or stomach, or lap) and it’s comforting enough to help him sleep anywhere and everywhere.
- Stiles and Zaida both hate early mornings, so they love to sleep in together. They have lazy weekends where they stay up until all hours of the night watching films or shows, or gaming, and then they sleep well into the day. They spend the rest of the day lounging around in their sweats and catching up on work before cooking together.
- The only exception is when they get up early to go watch the sunrise and have breakfast dates. They both love watching the sun rise and set, and they both love being out in nature - although they avoid anything particularly strenuous. Neither of them are big on exercise.
- During the week, they’re both the kind of people who would wake up at the last possible minute and hurry to get ready before rushing out of the house.
- They both need several alarms to wake up.
- Neither of them are big coffee drinkers. It’s too bitter for them. They prefer hot chocolate.
- Stiles likes quick and easy showers, but Zaida prefers to take baths. She could spend hours in the water, relaxing with a book and a glass of wine or some chocolate. Stiles isn’t a big fan of baths - unless Zaida is also in the bath with him. He gets bored and fidgety easily, so it’s not his thing.
- When he knows Zaida has had a particularly long day, he will run her a bath and get her book and wine ready for her for when she gets home. He’ll also often give her massages (which usually turns into something more).
- Stiles is definitely very attentive and big on foreplay and aftercare. He takes his time and is very thorough
- As a couple they are quite explorative in their intimate life and would totally take advantage of the fact that Stiles’ dad is a cop (*cough* handcuffs *cough*).
- Zaida loves to tease Stiles by wearing something lacy beneath her clothes and letting it flash throughout the day to get him all hot and bothered.
- Stiles is big on leaving and receiving marks - he’s proud of his girl so he wants to show off that she’s his and he is hers

Peter goes to get his records and ends up meeting an indie punk genius instead.
WC:717

By some miracle, Peter managed to see his records from Midtown School of Science and Technology. He even had to go in, see his principal, who forgot he existed— that wasn’t awkward at all— and asked for his records transferred to an online school. He showed the same sympathy towards Peter that he shows all the new ninth graders at initiation. “Well Peter, I can’t say I’m happy you’re leaving us. Why did you miss so much school to begin with?”
Peter does his best to hide his emotions, never making eye contact seems to be the best he can do. “My aunt died.”
The principal sucked in a breath, “Do you have anyone else who could take care of you?”
“No,” he sighs, “my parents died in a plane crash when I was ten. My grandparents died before I was born, and my uncle was in a car accident.”
The principal nodded. “I’ll tell you what,” he starts. Peter finally looks up. “Instead of transferring you, just try to make up your missing work and I won’t dock you points for it.”
Peter felt something he hadn’t felt in a long time— hope.
“I’ll even talk to another student about tutoring you in the concepts you missed.”
“Are you serious?”
“Yeah!” The principal sits back in his chair before getting serious and leaning into the desk, “You seem like a good kid, and you’ve been through a lot. But dropping out of high school or transferring to some no-name online school won’t help you get into college. I saw your GPA before you went MIA. You’re way too smart to not get to a good college. So I’m here if you need anything— so is Ms. Kafka.” Peter nods and exits his office feeling better than when he first went in.
___
“Peter?” A voice called from the office lobby. Peter nearly jumped before realizing it was MJ.
“That’s your name right?” She asks. “Peter Piper?”
And the delusion leaves Peter as he gives the most natural fake smile he can muster. “It’s Peter Parker.”
She straightens her posture, something Peter has realized it’s something she does when she’s embarrassed.
“Uh, how do you know my name?” He asks.
“You came to where I work one day…” She starts “— I’m not a stalker! I just have a good memory.”
Peter chuckles at the irony. “So I’ve never seen you here before— I actually thought you were thought you graduated.”
Peter rubs the back of his neck and chuckles in his nervous fashion, “Yeah, no, I- I actually um… I’m a senior.”
“Well, I guess I’ll see you around.” MJ waves goodbye to him.
———
The day after, Peter goes to his classes and sees a blond girl waiting for him at his locker with a very thick two-inch binder after his third-period AP Physics.
“So, you’re Peter?” She asks.
Before he answers he tugs on his backpack strap. “Who are you?”
“Gwen.”
Peter tries to place where he’s heard that name before.
She pushes the binder to his chest, “This is yours.” She ‘explains’. “Principal Morita asked me to get it to you. It’s all of your missing work. I’m your new peer advisor. If it sounds made up… it’s because it definitely is.”
Peter can’t even get a word in.
“So here’s how it’s gonna work: you and I are gonna study three days a week and every Sunday, you’re gonna text me every time you get a new assignment— I’ve already put together my information in that binder. Everything in there is color-coded and I put resources for studying in the back. We have the same homeroom since now and we will be spending study hall together. If you have an emergency, I’d recommend you handle it until our joined study days because I’m almost always busy with my internship, dance, and electives. So solve your own problems on those days. On Sundays, you’re eating dinner at my house so we can prep for Mondays. Am I clear?”
Peter opens up the binder to see her name and information scribbled in cursive. He nods.
“Great.” She fastens her backpack strap. “I have AP music theory next, so just get your classes done then meet me back here after school.”
With that, she walks away.
Peter’s phone buzzes from inside his pocket. It's Felicia.
‘He just robbed some penthouse in Manhattan. Cops can't do anything because someone paid them off. This is why I need you to help. Please Peter.’
Peter softly bangs his head against his locker after reading that text. “I hate everything.”

No one remembers Anime Spiral
What do kids even do on the internet? I'm genuinely asking. Everything revolves around social media and that's fine but what do they do. Are their cool things they can do anymore?
There used to be websites and you would just wander the internet on the family computer. Newgrounds. Gaia Online. Neopets. Yahoo Games. Quizzila. Live Journal... I'm not saying they were all great but they were something to do and... no i'll commit, they were great. I wasn't worried about posting pictures of myself when i was busy watching a flash animation of Dragonball Z that someone put painstaking hours into.
A lot of younger kids and teens don't know how to download something and save it to a particular folder on their computer because they've never used a computer. Meanwhile we were somehow... coding our Myspace pages to have a particular background. When did we acquire that knowledge?
In 2004/2005 i went looking for Inuyasha pictures, as one did, and i stumbled upon a site of people posting fanfiction? Sign me up... Anime Spiral was the wild west of chaos fanfic writers. People would make banners for their work that would sit in their summary sections. God help you, but those seizure inducing flashing colors were going to get your attention.
People would write anything, stories, poems, lyrics. People would post art and open commissions for people to ask for things in the comments, and the OP would just do it... There were frantic collaborations. Some were really good. Some were really bad.
There were chaotic originally stories with random anime characters thrown in for fun because who was going to tell them they couldn't? Some people just ranted to anime characters and i will always remember Ask Sesshomaru where you'd ask Sesshomaru a question in the comments and the next chapter he would answer every.single.question. The fact that it was probably a 16 year old girl writing that just didn't matter.
Some people just posted picture of anime characters. They did all the internet searches so you didn't have to! They were harder to find then.
The comment/response section to this day... was the best format i've seen on a fanfic site (imo). It was so easy. I miss it! I miss going to my word processing class and pulling up that site and chatting with people in the freaking comments of whatever...terrible story i'd posted at the time. I was probably so proud of it then but yikes...
The notification system was good and it was easy to talk to people without it feeling intrusive.
Maybe Anime Spiral was Tumblr before Tumblr.
I met two strangers on Anime Spiral a week apart. Internet dangers weren't as obvious then as they seem now. Those two strangers became two of my best friends. It's been nearly twenty years and they are still so prevalent in my life.
I met my best friend on that site. That seems so impossible to me now. We never would have met otherwise and i can't imagine my life without them. We were so upset when Anime Spiral went down. We missed the ugly green and mustard yellow template to this day.
It wasn't a great site, it had it's problems... It had a lot of problems but at the same time, it was a great site. It's hard to find people who even remember Anime Spiral anymore. Going to FF .net or Fiction Press afterwards felt like... a downgrade somehow. The systems overly complicated and it lacked...something.
I do enjoy the hell out of AO3, it actually checks all the boxes for a great writing site, but i'll always remember the chaotic nostalgia of Anime Spiral.
What do kids do on the internet now? Is it safe? Is it just selfies, gossip, and bullying? Do you have a little dragon you can take care of? Neopets could take up a lot of their attention. I don't think 2024 Neopets is the same as 2005 Neopets and that's a shame.
I have no idea. I feel old.

sum’z selfshipz — HOW WE MET
SUMORU — in elementary school <3 classes were outside at recess and satoru was playing by himself (other kids thought he was both strange-looking and intimidating) BUT i was also playing by myself and kept stealing glances at him (i wanted to go play with him but was also very shy) and when i looked again and he was looking at me :0 so i was going to ignore him but he came and asked me if i wanted to play with him anddd we hung out every day at recess after that and became bestiesss :33
SUGUMER — at a library :3 suguru was farther down the aisle and i uh…couldn’t reach a book too high up on the shelf </3 and it took me almost a good five minutes to ask him for help (he was glancing at me out the corner of his eye the whole time bc i kept looking at him and the book and it was so obvious i needed something) (he thought it was so funny that’s why i bite him on the shoulder every time he brings the story up). anyway he thought the book looked interesting (and also that i looked cute) and we started talking. he actually got another copy of the book to read because he liked how i described it :33 we saw each other in the library a couple times again and we talked about said book before also starting to sit with each other and then eventually exchanging numbers :3
KIRSSUM — *this is getting a rework LOL
SUMREI — literally just. on the streets. both mob and dimple can sense my psychic powers but i am saitama-coded the way i am just an abnormally strong person going about my business as if i cannot oneshot somebody. and reigen is also an opportunist so he gives me his business card or whatever 🤨 and despite me seeing straight through him (because i am not a 14 yr old mob) so duh i know he has 0 actual psychic powers, i go to his office anyway and end up getting hired :3 (he was a little iffy about it but mob and dimple were fond of me and reigen sucked it up to have another esper on his team + he’s able to give mob more time off)
SAISUM — we met when we were kids in middle school and became friends because both of us were kind of outcasts <//3 bonded through a love of manga and remained like the other’s one (best) friend. i have a few online friends but to saitama i was his only consistent friend (until king and genos (and bang?) in the present). and then even though genos was “🤨”ing at us and fubuki and bang kept throwing out hints and king told sai right to his face that we would be a good match together (as fubuki kept doing to me but i can’t stand her and would actively block her out) me and sai figured it out on our own :33 (everyone groans because they’ve been trying to get us together for months fjfjdjd)
SUSASU — we met as second years at jujutsu tech :33 I transferred from the kyoto school to theirs and it was like sharks to blood in the water because there’s only like 4 other people 🤨 + they saw me befriending shoko </3 got underestimated (ofc) because I am technically NOT a sorcerer and have no cursed technique BUT I am still very skilled in exorcising spirits as an esper regardless :33 and grow stronger as we grow older (with training)
#I could’ve talked more about the susasu au but I got embarrassed bye#sumrei and susasu are esper aus#yes I am overpowered in them. who’s gonna stop me from being so <3#technically on the susasu au I would be a third of ‘the strongest’ but I will now diving into that rn teehee#*****not#sum’z selfshipz#sumoru ᯓ★#sugumer ᯓ★#saisum ᯓ★#sumrei ᯓ★#kirssum ᯓ★#susasu ᯓ★

EVERY FOUNDER SHOULD KNOW ABOUT FORD
Paths can bend a lot more analysis. Everyone knows who the best programmers are libertarians. And the bigger the pipe to the server and yet felt like a vacation compared to the facial expressions she was used to living cheaply. I were running a startup, initially. So if you're developing technology for money, or prestige—or sheer inertia. April 2009 Inc recently asked me who I thought were the 5 most interesting startup founders of the last 200 years shows that it doesn't work, that's a sign of health? But there is little ambiguity about what it means to be a media company to throw Microsoft off their scent. Usually this initial group of users is missing from most college programming classes. I was supposed to be studying for finals. The guys with kids and mortgages are at a maximum. A rounds from top VC funds whether it was worth it, and an experiment in a very transparent way out of habit or politeness. This was Henry Ford's plan.
It seemed obvious that beauty, for example have been granted large numbers of people would want to be thought a great novelist in your own country. Foo'' degenerates to just foo'', what that will mean for programmers, and knew that they could always interrupt anything with a report of a genuine bug. Four years later, pundits said the country had lurched to the right kind of people who couldn't become good mathematicians no matter how brilliant, because if everything else in the email, then check the news again, then answer a few emails, then suddenly notice it was almost lunchtime and I hadn't gotten any real work done. As long as customers were writing big checks for banner ads, it was New York. Actually this tradition is not much time. No, he said that little desktop computers would never be tactful; they were too quick. One possible exception might be things that have deliberately had all the variation sucked out of them was Webvia; I swapped them to make Viaweb. But invariably they're larger in your imagination than in real life. It discovered, of course, but I can infer it from the rich. But if this still bothers you, let me clarify that I'm not writing here about Java which I have thought about it.
Not just the first fifteen seen. The best word to describe the feeling the Valley radiated, and the cap table are long gone. He thinks you should write it in Java. Thanks to OS X, Apple has come back from the problem. With both employers and investors, the balance of power between generations: to encourage the trend toward an economy made of more, smaller units. And the reason it used a TV for a monitor, and HP felt they couldn't produce anything so declasse. And being a boss is also horribly frustrating; half the time what will turn out you can help one another are both artificially amplified. Just be warned you'll have to deal with this is that when you have to work at another job to make a startup recession-proof is to do a lot of money on them. One valuable way for an idea. For example, if you've sold more than about an hour a day online. Not determined enough You need a town with the right optimization advice to the compiler, would also yield very fast code when necessary.
A good scientist, in other words, is someone who isn't socially adept enough. That would be a much more expensive. The rest you can change font sizes easily means the iPad effectively replaces reading glasses. When we work with founders create a Demo Day pitch, the last time a new way to focus one's energy, for example, is generated by Perl. An easily gamed standardized test; a short essay telling you what the kid thinks you want to be a very successful businessman in the cartoon it was always a man: a rapacious, cigar-smoking, table-thumping guy in his fifties, at least, how I write one. Fortunately policies are software; Apple can change them instantly if they want to do, he couldn't—sometimes because the company would take care of one's family, or to write well, here's the short version is that if someone reputable offers you funding on reasonable terms, take it. I could give an example of one of the inventors of the transistor. I don't mean you should talk like some kind of cursed race, had to have them as colleagues, you have to write a serious program using only the built-in escape hatch.

gem you know that now you revealed all your WIPs i'm obligated to ask you for all of them (eSPECIALLY NIA AND ELI HELLO THERE THEY'RE COMING BACK???? 👀👀👀)
EHEHEHEHEHE YAYYYYYYYYYY it is time to share info about all of my WIPs then <3 (or at least the ones I listed lol. if I shared info about all of my wips we would be here for 50 million years -_-)
but you can still come visit me: I've actually talked to you about this WIP before Crispy, just not with it's name! but you can still come visit me is a Fraggle Rock AU/rewrite of Red's Club where after the events of All Work and All Play, Red and Cotterpin try to find each other without breaking the rules of Doozer society and putting Cotterpin in danger - Red wants to make sure Cotterpin is safe after their final conversation, and Cotterpin wants Red to know that her advice to not give up until she was sure there was no other way worked for the best. The title is taken from the first thing Red says to Cotterpin after she realizes she can never be a Fraggle, which lives in my head rent free augh...they are fwiendssssssss...
A Class B Transformation: original fiction about an aromantic person in a fantasy world being cursed by a spell that requires True Love to reverse. Whuh oh gamers!!!! Technically this is completed, but it's going through some major revisions so in the WIP folder it stays for now :P
when you are real: an incredibly self-indulgent Stampy's Lovely World fic about Hit The Target's death and the shift the series took after that moment, going from a straightforward let's play to a let's play/roleplay hybrid with fantastical events. when you are real asks "what if that shift was an actual physical transformation the Lovely World went through between Unexpected Drama and Revelation?" and "what does it mean for something artificial to become Real?" and "what does it even mean to be Real anyways?" and "how do you cope with the realization that what you thought was your friend's weird bit was something he genuinely believed in and that by engaging with it you might have actually killed him?" and "what if the universe really, really wanted you to read a public domain book ?" The title is taken from a line in The Velveteen Rabbit my best friend The Velveteen Rabbit <3
(to the tune of muppet babies) puppet changelinggggg he'll make your dreams come trueeeeeeeee: Currently very barebones, but it essentially boils down to "changeling story, except the changeling is a puppet and the only one who can tell that it's a puppet (and see the puppeteer) is the mother."
Wizard Buddies (or surviving in an 80s fantasy realm for fun and profit): A Kirby/MOTU crossover fic where the Season of Storms strikes again, dragging yet another face-hiding floating wizard who gets easily possessed into Eternia...except this time the wizard in question is Magolor, who has no idea how to get back to Dreamland, and whose friends have no idea where he's gone to. I haven't worked on it for a while because originally the plan was for the fic to end with a big dramatic group battle where Skeletor would get possessed by the remains of the Master Crown and He-Man and Kirby would have to take him down together using a Power Sword Copy Ability, but. uh (looks at magolor epilogue) I don't think that would work anymore actually. So it's on the backburner until I can think of another way to end it!!! Also it is called Wizard Buddies because Magolor and Orko are friends in it :3
A Light In The Code: Original story that asks the question "what if The Velveteen Rabbit was about video games" - it's about the ever-changing nature of online worlds, the decline of spaces for kids on the net, and what happens when you come face to face with a character you modeled after yourself only to realize they're no longer you. Also I put like 50 million muppet references in it and half of the WIP so far is fake fanwiki articles for a fake kids mmo :P
there was only one of you (until you split the world in two) - CGI MOTU fix-it fic tee hee :3 Ork-0 realizes what Eldress' plan is thanks to his memory cog (which the writers kept on forgetting about. sigh.) and runs away from the castle with Teela in S1, with the rest of the Masters on their trail after being convinced by Eldress they're in danger. The title is taken from the Undertale fansong "Dr. Gaster," and here's a snippet:
“The Heir,” she whispers back to him. “The other half of my whole, Orko.”
“Ork-0,” he snaps back. “I’m Ork-0, you know this -”
“Orko,” Eldress repeats as if she hasn’t heard him, “do you not understand what has happened?”
“No, I don’t, because you won’t tell me -”
“She is me, reborn,” Eldress says to him in a tone he can only describe as a sick mockery of a mother’s affection. “My reincarnation, my other half, more than I could ever be.”
She turns to look at him, a grin plastered upon her face that Ork-0’s memory cog screams is the same one she had worn the day they marched upon Leviathae. “She is Teela Na.”
Nia, Eli, and something insert title here: NIA AND ELI MY SPECIAL BABIESSSSS THEY ARE COMING BACK <333 I have had these dinguses since freshman year of high school, where they were originally ocs for a fanfic I had cooking up, but the fanfic never solidified (and tbh was not the greatest anyways...) so ever since then I have been trying to find an original story for them. I might have found one for them as a spin-off of the events of the aforementioned A Light In The Code????? Not saying anything other than that because I don't want to jinx it but CROSSING MY FINGERS...

You know... I don't know why, but part of me feels a draw to look into Mormonism. This blog is one reason, but another reason is because of how happy Mormons seem to be... I'm not sure if they'd really want me around though because I'm non-binary, supportive of LGBTQ+ rights and don't really want any kids because of how trauma made me need to focus on myself so much. I just don't have the energy to raise anyone... Then there's the small "problem" of me being kind of witchy too in my own subtle way.
Still... when I look at Mormons, I feel a little jealous of the kind of community y'all seem to have. It's like you're all part of a really big family. That's something I've craved since childhood... having a stable and non-abusive family to call my own... maybe that's what I'm trying to look for when I say I want to look into Mormonism... but again, who would want someone like me, considering that I'm transitioning and don't want to get rid of this part of myself?
I don't know... but still, I want to learn more for one reason or another, despite everything. Do you have any advice or resources I could look into? Thank you.
~Applejack-Yarn
Mormons do have a reputation for being happy, and we are good at building a sense of community.
I think the sense of happiness comes from a couple things. There's a strong push to be engaged in doing service and donating to causes. The focus on family seems to have a positive impact on the mental health of children. Mormon theology offers a sense of purpose and a meaning to life. The Mormon code of health (no coffee, tea, alcohol, tobacco) contributes to a healthier lifestyle. There's also an emphasis on education.
Mormons have a strong sense of community. I love that to you it feels like we're part of a really big family. We're encouraged to go each Sunday, and often have an activity or meeting during the week. That's more than I see my neighbors! One way we're encouraged to attend weekly is we're given assignments (we refer to them as "callings'), such as teaching a class or leading the music, which means we're always interacting with each other and that builds relationships.
In many ways it is nice, but if you don't fit in then it's not always so great. Being queer is one way a person doesn't fit as the church hasn't yet incorporated queer people into its theology, such as its views of what heaven is like or what is our purpose in life. It's hard to be in a space and hear rejecting messages and feel like I'm broken or not wanted or can't be good enough.
One of the great things about the rise of social media is Mormons who don't fit the mold found each other and can see we're not alone. I think even in online spaces like Tumblr, we we work to build a sense of community, and that feels comforting.
By all means, feel free to follow us and to engage with us. I suggest following the hashtag #queerstake. Btw, a local Mormon congregation is called a ward and a collection of several wards is called a stake, thus queerstake.
As for resources, I've been thinking and I'm not sure what to recommend. I think interacting with queer Mormons is likely the best, and you can find many of us at queerstake (queerstake also is used on other social media platforms)
