i like unexpected contrasts, like for instance in a court of fey and flowers it's not that andhera finds some representation of light to his dark but instead there's someone who makes things, physical and corporeal and stores warmth in them while andhera's mom doesn't even have a body she could hug them with.

The first time they meet is during the CPR and First Aid training class, hosted in the presentation room that Binx knows she’ll be holed up for the majority of her time at camp. The room is mostly dark, when she arrives, and she flips on the light switch to see Rue pacing back and forth and Wuvvy perched on the counter and the presenter with earbuds clearly in his ears as he sets up his slide deck.
