Tomorrow is my birthday!

I'll be turning 29, I'm in the last year of my 20's, and I'm trying to feel hopeful about it. We're broke, as always, but at least the bills are paid and we're not in active crisis at the moment (knock on wood).

I've got a personal wishlist here and another one that's got stuff that would make life for my entire household easier.

Figure I'll drop my pay links here too, since my household is almost always struggling with bills or groceries, and we almost always end up putting gift money towards those things anyway.

It's my birthday at the end of the month, so I put together a wishlist, if anyone is feeling generous and wants to get me something. Mostly craft or kitchen stuff, but there are a few things on there I could really use like a new bra or a replacement hose for my CPAP.

There's no pressure, obviously! But I'm shameless enough to admit that having something to open on my birthday would make me happy flap so hard I'd probably take flight.

If you'd rather just drop a couple bucks in my tip jar, that would be great too! I could put it towards a birthday cake. Or, you know, groceries in general.

hello, friends! every year I request fanwork for my birthday on september 25. I love fanwork in all its forms and would feel very honored to receive some. my birthday is about a month away, please consider creating fanwork as a present.

who am I? a full-time clown. maybe I made you laugh once because I said something stupid (likely). I beta-read your work or left you an unintelligible comment on one of your stories. praised and promoted your art or edits. offered some kind of oddball encouragement. sent you a link to something that reminded me of something you made. or wrote or drew something you liked. I am no more worthy than anybody else of receiving fanwork on their birthday, but I don't mind asking for it. so this is me asking.

I love: drabbles, fics, drawings, fan art, playlists, graphic sets, gifsets, photos, meta posts, songs, knitted objects, poetry, and anything that you're inspired to make because of your fandom. I am a multi-fandom person and open to a lot of different fandoms/ships, so make whatever you want to make. it will be a gift to others as well. that's the coolest part, gifts for everyone!

now, if you think you can do something bespoke, I’m not going to stop you. particularly if we know each other and you know what I like. but if you feel compelled to create something for your new favorite character/fandom that I'm not familiar with, that's awesome too. I love the things people make out of love.

I genuinely hate getting gift cards and wish people would just give cash, though. Because when they don't, I’m stuck in situations like I am now, where I’d love to buy something online but you can’t do split payments like you can at a regular cashier, and the balance is too much for the gift card. So I'm trying to get the rest of it off the card and into my bank account so I don't have to deal with the annoyance of a gift card anymore ... But I can't because Paypal won’t let me “send money to myself” 🙄 It's so dumb.
