I thought I wouldn’t go farming and I was a bit sad but in the end she sent Irina and me to the farmer on Thursday! Teppei (the farmer) was very funny and even if we had a hard time planting leeks under the sun (it was probably the hottest day we had so far) we had a lovely time! He had a student working with him (he was terribly cute ;) Irina gave him a 7/10 and I gave him a 8.5/10 because he had dark skin. After planting 70 meters of leeks in about 2 hours, we picked aubergines and goya (bitter gourd) to take home with us. Ako made champuru with the fresh goya it was so delicious! Champuru is a dish from Okinawa in which they mix tofu, goya, soy beans, eggs and fish or pork.
