you really need to raise your standards for what's considered "a phrase" because if it only makes sense in the specific context of the post it was originally found in and it isn't repeatable in other situations, that's not a phrase that has entered the lexicon, that's just something someone said one time.

What doesn't alter your vocabulary may alter, or may have already altered, someone else's. This is not about adding to The General Lexicon - I have an entire tag for things that change this site as a whole, which has a higher bar; this is largely about novelty and humor. This is us curb-stomping whatever the fuck we want into the right form for our needs, whatever those needs may be, including altering aspects of the phrase to fit the necessary format or context. It's a linguistic shotgun.

I still don't get why this Latin American stuff is here rather than on its own page/bracket. Why add them to this contest halfway through?

First, they are their own bracket. It's a bracket being run in parallel to the Napoleonic one. That's why those polls say Round 1 and the Napoleonic bracket is on Round 3.

Second, because this is about the Napoleonic Wars broadly. The Wars for Latin American Independence were a direct result of Napoleon's occupation of the Iberian Peninsula. So, they are arguably part of the Napoleonic Wars. No Napoleon? No Portuguese royal family in Brazil. No Spanish legitimacy crisis. No breakdown of the Spanish empire. It is not only at the same time, it is indisputably a part of the impact of the wars in Europe.

We originally toyed with the idea of having them be a part of the main bracket because of the above rationale, but there were already 128 nominations for the Napoleonic bracket. There wasn't a reasonable way to add another 54. So, it's a separate bracket.

Third, if you don't want to see it, then block the 'latam independence sexyman' tag. The two concurrent brackets are being tagged differently.

Nominations are now OPEN for the best FNAF fan song released in 2023! PLEASE make sure your submissions are from this time period before submitting!

To make things more fair this time around, I will NOT be publicly answering any asks about how many times a song has been submitted! If you want to be absolutely sure a song gets in, nominate it yourself! This also determines where in the bracket it will be!
