Wild to me when Rose and Kanaya’s relationship is one of the central and lasting relationships within the comic. Their date and kiss and troubles and even their wedding gets significant time. Vriska and Terezi’s relationship is the base of the retcon. Their entire dynamic pushes the comic and is central for its drama.
all the women non queer men in the homestuck fandom should shut up because homestuck is for ( gay ) men and the women lesbians are just there as a suggestion . men gay trans men should be allowed to ignore the women characters we dont like because the homestuck fandom is mostly men so the womens opinions dont matter . this is a very normal thing to say and is somehting that absolutely changes if you put gay and trans in front of every other word

Act 1 - meeting
Tumblr media
Lately, Joy have been searching every corner of the internet about this “X” who seem to appear out of nowhere. The only thing what happens to be published about strange figure was his own streams, but besides that nothing was discovered. It was frustrating, so Joy decided what if internet doesn’t give here information which she wants she will find it else where. For example, at the meetup. Yes. She gone for X fans meetup.
Tumblr media
After loudly proclaiming herself as a blogger she didn’t got the “right” reaction - nobody kinda cared. So she just started to bother others on purpose to try get some information!!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
And this is how they found each other.
after long loud talk, Luch opened up about why they decided to go on such meetup. The reason was, what they actually kinda seen X in motion and it was strange.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
They were riding in the bus when suddenly Luch heard a loud snap and world turned into bright shapes and lines. It was fantastic but also scary. When Luch turned their gaze on the side a man in a white suit ran past them making eye contact and making a small “oh”. Loud snap and everything gone back to normal, white suit guy disappeared and bus Continued to go.
Tumblr media
Luch fought that it was a strange daydream but after this situation visions of reality in different “dimension” started to appear a lot more.
Tumblr media
Shocked but enthusiastic Joy didn’t even wait and exclaimed that they should just search for the man to supposedly ask smth about those visions and learn who he is and where he draws his inspiration from. And for that they should just go in places where something grand and hero related happens! And maybe a little bit dangerous one….
Tumblr media
At first Luch wanted to decline but after one look at Joy something told them that it is their chance.
Tumblr media
THANKS FOR READING I HOPE YOU LIKE OUR CHILDREN WHICH WE DEVELOPING WITH @joy-porkytaro !!! Tbh Joy was behind most of main story stuff I’ve translated and adapted it to eng and also drew illustrations to it but yeeee we love those littol gubbers

Early MCYTblr Interviews: Anonymous
our interviewee today is the anonymous author of the "SBI Crit Post". he's asked to both remain anonymous and not to be sought out; he's been incredibly helpful and polite through this entire interview process, and i would ask you all to leave any residual feelings you may have from that time at the door. If you think you remember who posted it, please keep it to yourself. that said, let's begin!
Q: Before we begin talking about the ‘Crit Post’, I’d love to hear what your experience of MCYTblr was like before it was posted. Do you have any standout memories from this time?
A: Not particularly. There's some things that I guess looking back on nowadays is kind of wild, like how in the groups I was running in, shipping of any kind that wasn't DNF was super frowned upon (as in, I trigger tagged for IRL shipping)…but truthing wasn't really? Or, how back then the lines between 'critblr' and main mcytblr were super fuzzy. I hung out with both groups before the Crit Post to no issue. Oh!!! And this is a wonderful piece of MCYTblr lore that you may not know, but when I posted the Crit Post, I was apart of a MCYT art exchange themed after MCC called MC Creatives. I think it only happened once, and I can't exactly remember who ran it. They were a really nice DNF (? or just DTeam) blogger. I think it's cool to see that even back then the community was pretty tight knit and had overarching community activities like we see today. It's interesting to me that our fandom has missed out on some of the more important parts to being a fandom… not many big bangs, only one or two that I know of. It's very sad, but we are a weird fandom in general, and definitely a Modern Fandom, if you understand what I mean by that LOL. There is one memory that does stick out, completely irrelevant to this interview though. The fake Dreambur meetup. I pulled an all nighter for it. I was shaking. I drew fanart (though never posted it). Everyone was hysterical. And then it was faked and everyone went WHAT.
Q: As you let me know in your dms, you were the user who made the original “SBI Crit Post”. Would you mind giving a quick rundown of what it was exactly, for anyone who may not know?
A: I would, but frankly I barely remember anything about it. It was like… I saw someone being like "weird that we aren't as critical of SBI as we are of DT" and I thought, "Well, I can probably try?" and made shit up. It was nonsense. I can't even remember what I said about Philza. The points against the others were "Tommy is too young to be in this business" "Wilbur queerbaits" and… "Technoblade needs to be less honest about his ADHD he's glorifying it" or something like that. Again, it was nonsense at its best.
Q: What was your reasoning at the time for making the post? Did the overall culture around you play a part in it?
A: Here's the part no one knows: At the time of posting, I was 13 by maybe… one, two, or three weeks. And I'd spent almost the entirety of my time as a 12 year old in a community that was like "we need to be Critical of our Favorite Creators because this is Righteous and the Only Good Way To Engage With MCYT" and I was like "Everyone here is older than me and therefore endlessly smarter than me," and therefore just accepted it. You can see it very clearly in the part that was "critical" of Wilbur Soot. He was queerbaiting for what? Acting like he wanted to kiss men? Dressing nice? Ridiculous! But if we called Dream a queerbaiter (and never GNF, because everyone was convinced he was gay), then I thought surely Wilbur Soot could also be a queerbaiter! This made total sense to baby 13 year old me. It's not fair to really call that indoctrination: it's not like I was falling down an alt-right pipeline or anything. I was just a stupid kid with too much internet access who liked minecraft and knew nothing about like Dan & Phil or Septiplier (kind of thing that would make me suspicious of this activity--especially truthing). I thought I was fufilling some honor by saying "and yes, my favorite minecraft boys aren't without fault either!" The people that stayed friends with me after that… some of them were my closest normal non-Critblr friends, who refused to abandon me (shout out to you guys you know who you are), and the rest were the people in Critblr who were… okay with my behavior.
Q: I understand that the backlash to the post was very intense– what was it like from your perspective? Did it have any affect on you?
A: Lots. Lots and lots and lots. I lost a bunch of my close friends who weren't okay with what I'd said or how I'd doubled down, and it really messed with me as a kid in the middle of quarantine. There were times where I genuinely considered hurting myself irreperably as either a way to "apologize for what I had done" or just a way to stop worrying that everyone I knew was going to block me one day. Those feelings lasted for a long time, I still struggle with them to this day, over three years later (? I think). And I was kind of lead to believe that was an okay response. I recieved asks the night that it all went down where I was told I should hurt myself. Of course my own behavior wasn't cool, but neither was that. I know there was a post out there by a popular (at the time?) Technoblade blogger that detailed the faults in that post, but I never read it. All I knew about it was that people saw it, and harassed me because they saw it, and that the OP of that post hated me. It got to the point that seeing that blogger's URL caused me to have panic attacks, a ridiculous thing because that blogger as far as I know never actually did anything wrong. I don't know. Every once in awhile, someone in the server I'm in (hi some of you are definitely reading this :3 i love you guys) will bring up the post in passing and I'll have to mute the channel for 24 hours because I'm scared. Or even when we're discussing normal drama, if something feels too close to the Crit Post, or like it might come up, I'll get shaky and nauseous and have to mute the channel for 24 hours. It's weird, the shit being told to kill yourself because you did something dumb as a 13 year old can do to you.
Q: As a follow-up: What, if anything, do you wish had happened instead?
A: I don't know really. I guess the obvious answer is "I didn't make the post" or "I didn't double down", but I think the real answer has to be that I wish the community I was in hadn't taught me that what I was doing was an okay move.
Q: Do you have anything else to add about the Crit Post, MCYTblr, or the community as a whole?
A: Not really. I "retired" from MCYTBlr in I think 2022, but kept a passing interest in it for a long time, and I'm still active in a discord (hi again) comprised entirely of fans and retired fans. I loved MCYT, and in some ways, I still do. When I'm sad, I put on old Technoblade videos. When I'm really sad, I put on old Purpled videos. These things are my comforts, things that I haven't ever been able to give up. And that's good! Even if I don't talk about MCYT anymore, I'm glad it's there for me.

i once saw scott at a meetup. didn't pay any attention to him beyond being like huh that's what scott looks like. Those who did the q&a session with him said he talked really quietly and with long pauses. he's a blogger it's like trying to appreciate the grace of the penguin by watching it on land.
or a seal. i think scott alexander is more like a seal than a penguin. mammalian.

"There's nothing happy about having your fate decided for you. You have to grab your own happiness!" 💙✨️
As I look over my shoulder at my new tattoo, I'm filled with an overwhelming sense of joy. I owe so much to the Fairy Tail fandom, and it's not an over exaggeration to say that without this wonderful series and the fandom, I might not be here right now.
Undergraduate was one of the darkest times of my life, and immersing myself in the fictional world of Fiore and consequently finding a group of Fairy Tail-centric bloggers and cosplayers is what got me through those years. I can't even express how grateful I am for the connections I've made through this series, and I find myself over a decade later reminiscing about all of those fun nights nightblogging together on Skype and about the AnimeNEXT and Otakon cosplay meetups with my nakama.
I started my cosplay journey with Aries the Ram. She was the first cosplay I ever made myself. My Aries cosplay was hand-sewn, and I was so proud of how she came out, especially since I hadn't had much experience with sewing before I attempted to make her dress.
My cosplay for Lucy Heartfilia was purchased, but I have many plans for future fits for her and finally have the energy to get back into sewing! Nothing can stop me. The world is my oyster, and I'm about to dive head-first back into the ocean of creativity! 🥰✨️

Summer is just around the corner and that means trips away ! Here are some of my favourite travel tips i find helpful while being vegan
Research Vegan-Friendly Destinations:
Look for destinations known for their vegan-friendly food options, such as major cities like Los Angeles, London, Berlin, and Bangkok.
Consider countries with a strong tradition of plant-based cuisine, such as India, Thailand, and Ethiopia.
Use vegan travel guides, websites, and social media platforms to discover hidden gems and local favorites.
Explore Vegan Restaurants and Cafés:
Use apps like HappyCow, Yelp, or TripAdvisor to find vegan and vegan-friendly restaurants in your destination.
Seek out local vegan eateries, vegetarian restaurants, and health food stores for a variety of plant-based dining options.
Look for restaurants with clearly labeled vegan menus or options to make ordering easier.
Accommodations with Vegan Options:
Choose vegan-friendly accommodations such as hotels, hostels, or guesthouses that offer plant-based meal options or cater to dietary preferences.
Consider booking accommodations with kitchen facilities to prepare your own meals using local ingredients.
Look for eco-friendly and sustainable accommodations that align with your values, such as vegan resorts or eco-lodges.
Connect with Local Vegans:
Reach out to local vegan communities or social media groups in your destination for insider tips and recommendations.
Attend vegan meetups, events, or food tours to connect with like-minded travelers and locals.
Follow vegan influencers and bloggers who share their experiences and recommendations for vegan-friendly travel.
Pack Vegan Snacks and Essentials:
Bring along vegan snacks, protein bars, and non-perishable food items for times when vegan options may be limited.
Carry a reusable water bottle and utensils to reduce waste and stay hydrated while traveling.
Research local vegan-friendly markets and grocery stores to stock up on fresh produce, snacks, and ingredients.
Be Prepared and Flexible:
Be open-minded and flexible when dining out, as vegan options may vary depending on the destination and local cuisine.
Learn basic phrases in the local language to communicate dietary preferences and ask questions about ingredients.
Plan ahead and make reservations at vegan or vegan-friendly restaurants, especially during peak travel seasons.

Is online fandom a friendly space for an Asian fan?
Welcome back readers/bloggers! :3
In this blog, I am going to talk about ✨fandom✨. I've been part of several fandoms, most of them rooted in the gaming community. What keeps me engaged is the shared passion for the game—whether it's the captivating story, stunning graphics, or impressive character designs. These elements are what drew me in. So, without further ado, let's dive into the topic!
As an Asian myself, I find online fandoms to be a friendly space for me personally. This might be because many of the games I play are developed by Chinese companies and later released globally. While it’s true that Asian fans can face challenges such as insensitivity, stereotypes, or even discrimination, there is still a noticeable level of respect and inclusivity within these communities.
Diversity In Games 🎮
Genshin Impact
The Genshin Impact community is among the largest and most active in the gaming world, with millions of players globally. The game’s appeal lies in its distinctive open-world gameplay, vibrant graphics, and captivating characters. Fans in this community are incredibly passionate and dedicated, often spending hours sharing theories, creating fan art, and offering guides and tips to assist fellow players (US-China Institute, 2023).
The community is also recognized for its generosity and compassion, with players often coming together to fundraise for charitable causes and support one another during tough times. It is widely regarded as one of the most welcoming and inclusive communities in the gaming world, providing a safe and supportive space for players from all walks of life.
Memorable Events & Genshin’s Community Engagement 👥
Genshin Impact has fostered a lively global community, with fans regularly hosting meetups to share their enthusiasm for the game. These events range from casual local gatherings to large-scale conventions, providing chances for fans to connect, exchange experiences, and engage in themed activities.
Tumblr media
Genshin Impact also has an active fanbase in Malaysia, and fans frequently participate in themed events and meetups. Notable examples include events like "HoYo FEST," where fans can enjoy Genshin-themed dining experiences, photo booths, and exclusive merchandise. These gatherings also feature activities such as scratch-card giveaways and social media challenges, fostering a fun and interactive atmosphere (Gamer Braves, 2024)
Another example is the "A Joyful Reunion" event held at Sunway Pyramid in Kuala Lumpur. This event offered fans opportunities to complete in-game-style commissions, engage in boss challenges, and win themed prizes. Such gatherings have become a great way for local players to connect and share their passion for the game (The Magic Rain, 2024).
These events demonstrate the vibrant community spirit among Malaysian Genshin Impact fans and offer a welcoming environment for those looking to meet like-minded players.
Another game I’m actively playing, which features a diverse cast of characters, is Reverse: 1999.
Reverse: 1999
Tumblr media
Reverse: 1999 is a turn-based strategy RPG that debuted in China last year. The game revolves around the intriguing concept of time, focusing specifically on traveling back through different historical periods (Freemmostation, 2023).
It features an anime-inspired art style, with characters designed in a way that gives the game a moody yet visually captivating atmosphere, enhanced by excellent use of color and lighting. The backgrounds are equally stunning, and the introduction of vaporwave-inspired visuals offers a unique shift in the art direction. This stylistic choice may even reference late 90s glitch art, potentially hinting at the narrative’s ties to the events of 1999 and offering clues to the game's deeper themes (Claudia Khaw, 2023).
What drove me to play this game is the artstyle. It is painterly and illustrative. The characters were designed in a way that gives the game a moody yet visually captivating atmosphere, enhanced by excellent use of color and lighting.
The game enhances immersion by using Live2D models of the characters during dialogue scenes, instead of static artwork. This brings the characters to life, making the interactions feel more dynamic and engaging. The smooth movements and subtle gestures give each character extra depth and personality, making the overall experience visually more compelling and enriching.
As new characters were introduced, I noticed the game boasts a wonderfully diverse cast, featuring characters from various backgrounds, including British, French, Indian, Chinese, German, Japanese and more. As a Chinese-Cantonese player, I was thrilled to see myself represented in the game, which made the experience even more meaningful and enjoyable.
Fan Events!🧋
In Singapore, Reverse: 1999 has teamed up with Signature KOI for an exciting collaboration, offering fans a chance to enjoy special themed drinks and exclusive merchandise (GamesPress, 2024). This partnership, running from October 26 to November 10, includes beverages like the Signature Pearl Earl Grey Milk Tea and Honey Floral Green Tea. Purchasing these drinks will unlock limited-edition items, including vacation-themed outfits for characters Regulus and Matilda.
Fans visiting the event can also engage with the game’s universe by receiving special anniversary gifts, such as postcards and car sticker sets, as well as enjoy fun activities like cosplay meetups and a film screening of the game’s trailers and music videos.
Tumblr media

Social Media Connecting Fans Together 🌏
Fans have created spaces on social media and platforms like Discord to organize virtual meetups, share fan content like art and cosplays, and talk about the game’s evolving story. The community has been known to rally together in support of the game’s updates and events, participating in discussions around the latest chapters or new character releases.
In conclusion
This generation of online fandoms has embraced diversity, especially with the rise of social media that connects people globally. Whether through live or virtual meetups, events, or collaborations, fans experience a sense of camaraderie, love, and support as they bond over shared interests. These communities offer a sense of belonging and purpose, providing a space where people can come together to enjoy what they are passionate about.

a “tag people u wanna know better” game!! its been a while, im very honored. Thank u @occulticsnomajo!!! sorry it took me a minute
last song: french navy by camera obscura! I’ve been on a big twee pop thing recently, and daydreaming about a house in the PNW where we have warm lights on all the time. Back then, someone’s job could be “blogger”. i yearn for those days
favorite color: green as well! It’s going to be hard to not have green hair anymore, when I have to chop the dye out. Or who knows! Maybe I’ll have enough money to keep it maintained forever.
currently watching: umm. seinfeld reruns. also started watching danganronpa 3 with friends. im sorry
last movie: i recently watched high sprits with a friend!! It was not the movie we thought it was gonna be, so we stopped right at the ending. Too much straight ghost sex.
currently reading: i just finished Memories of Amorous Gentlemen and it was so fucking good. Binged the whole thing in like an hour. But I should check out something new from the library!! I think i’m well enough to get started on house of leaves…
sweet/spicy/savory: all three at same time. but watch out
relationship status: if u know u know if u dont im not telling
current obsessions: I’m daydreaming about how to set up an emulation station now that I have a TV in my room! so that? Cause I wanna play retro games in bed.
last thing I googled: i have too many privacy related extensions for google to successfully keep track of my searches, so no idea, sorry. oh wait i have it open in another tab. "alias python on mac"
currently working on: AH!!! so much. but I’m taking my game to a dev meetup on saturday, and I have to get back to that after i'm done writing this, so probably that??
i taggggggg @mevil @snoozaga @gummyache @plaant @keygen @shogas @squigglewitch @silmist @heckmaster2000 @lolbatz and this is a pretty random selection so anyone who wants to do this... or if i somehow skipped you, i didnt mean to >_<
also @occulticsnomajo i have a dress of your header!! i wore it to a wedding recently, it's my fav :00 i know there's no question about that on the tag game...but i like the dress, so thanks for letting me show it off >_<
