oh hell yeah, high five. i haven't posted any pictures in ages bc as my tank has reached a kind of insane unexpected equilibrium it's also become less photogenic, and i haven't wanted to disturb a stable system just to make it photograph better lol -- BUT recently i have been thinking about finally starting to fuss over it again, maybe add some new plants and some new shrimp to transition over as my current band of amanos reach the end of their lifespan, and maybe when i have that all brushed up i'll take u guys on a little tour again. (for the shrimp nerds who may be interested: i'm thinking about nabbing some neocaridinas, likely blue jelly + carbon rilli. it would be nice to have a self-sustaining colony, since obv the amanos can't breed in fresh water.)

In some my older posts I’ve referred to “Lucy Gray” as just “Lucy” and like…I’m sorry??

I have gotten enough comments for it to be annoying of people being like “how you gonna read the book/analyze the text and yet still call her Lucy”.

First of all those posts are older. Second of all yall can actually calm down. While I recognize the importance of character’s names and how in this case Lucy Gray’s insistence at being referred to as Lucy Gray is central to her character…I just post analysis posts that rarely center on her.

I just don’t see what you’re trying to accomplish by belittling my silly little analysis posts by correcting a minor detail or trying to undermine the point of my analysis in said post. Make your own post on why her name is important to her and keep the attitude out of mine.

oppenheimer is winning best picture, christopher nolan best director, cillian murphy for best actor, da'vine joy randolph for supporting actress, robert downey jr for supporting actor, and lily gladstone and emma stone will fight to death live on stage for best actress. i'm most confident about both supporting roles and a dark horse would be paul giamatti for best actor BOOM WRITE IT DOWN FOLKS

Oppenheimer is like make a movie about war but not a war movie. I am so devastated about the fact that a group of white men sat in a room and actually decided on the fact on which city they gonna drop the A-bomb in Japan. I mean really what the fuck??? And the justification was “to bring our boys home” fuck you and your fucking war ideologies.

And also whoever that said Oppenheimer was glorifying the bomb definitely did not watch the same movie.

The gripe I have (especially after reading the stories about A-Bomb testing in Los Alamos) about the movie is definitely the line “give the Indians back their land” is really for fuck sakes really??
