Q: What was the last book that surprised you? This isn't the most recent one, but I did discover it only a year or two ago. I first got The Deal as a random freebie on Kobo. You can imagine that I went into it with the lowest of expectations. Instead I was given a 5 star read and a book that fed my then-new love for sports (especially hockey) romance novels.
