Had the realization that Kai being/becoming part/full bug adds an extra set of layers to Kai's absolute panic during the fight with Drix. Like he was audibly terrified when the Master of Swarm used their ability.

Hey guys why haven’t i seen a lot of acknowledgment about the actual affect the MASTER OF BUGS could have on a guy whose possibly half bug now.

Let’s say that Kai being half bug WAS canon (or at least in an AU it is), he would therefore already be dealing with the change and loss of control physically, having his body morphed in such an invasive way that leaves him in shambles.

Yet after all that, after a few years of secretly healing and growing and just thinking about how to protect his family and loved ones, he meets a man who can control him.

Kai has already felt the invasiveness of one’s own body unwillingly changing. Now he has to sit with a never ending fear of a man forcing him to hurt the very people that make Kai who he is.

I wonder if Drix actually knows the amount of power he could hold over the master of fire.

Edit: okay I won’t deny me forgetting Drix is actually the master of Swarm but it sounds so dumb master of bugs sounds better pls guys/silly

okay so i used this term talking to all the best buy staff who helped me unfuck my tower pc, and they all immediately twigged to it even though they'd never heard it used as such, but I'm wondering if there's an actual term for warning-sign-errors-via-specific-programs-that-die-that-signify-a-deeper-issue-with-your-PC that I don't know about

Because the term I used for these is "canaries"
