1. More children are surviving today than ever before.
Close to 8 million more children in the world survive to see their fifth birthday than in 1990 — a 60 percent decline in annual under-five child mortality.
UNICEF and partners have contributed to this remarkable achievement through proven, sustainable solutions for improving maternal and child health care services and strengthening disease prevention — and delivering those solutions at scale...
2. Vaccines have saved 154 million lives in the last 50 years.
As the world’s largest vaccine supplier, UNICEF procures and distributes enough vaccines annually to immunize 45 percent of the world's children. In 2023, UNICEF supplied 2.8 billion vaccine doses to 105 countries, up from just over 2 billion to 102 countries in 2020. Through widespread immunizations, polio is on the brink of eradication.
3. Safe water is available to over 2.1 billion more people compared to 20 years ago.
Consistent access to a sufficient supply of safe water for drinking, cooking and personal hygiene is the foundation for child survival, healthier lives, stronger economies and more sustainable societies. With support from UNICEF and partners, more than a quarter of the world's population gained access to safe and clean drinking water in the past two decades.
UNICEF-supported programs help ensure access to safe water for 35 million people around the world every year. UNICEF also leads coordinated emergency response efforts related to safe water access in roughly 85 percent of countries affected by crises. In 2023, over 42 million people in 73 countries were reached with emergency water services, helping to prevent outbreaks of cholera and other waterborne diseases.
To help build community resilience to climate shocks, UNICEF has also supported the installation of more than 8,900 solar-powered water systems in 56 countries — an important climate adaption measure that also reduces the use of fossil fuels.
4. The number of children with stunted growth due to malnutrition has declined by 40 percent since 2000.
For more than two decades, UNICEF has been the world’s largest procurer of ready-to-use therapeutic food (RUTF), procuring up to 80 percent of global demand, ensuring children suffering from severe malnutrition can be treated successfully.
5. Over 68 million child marriages have been averted in the last 25 years, giving girls their childhoods back.
In the late 1990s, 1 in 4 young women aged 20 to 24 were married as children. Today, it's 1 in 5. UNICEF has played an important role in global efforts to end child marriage, supporting 35 countries in implementing action plans, and working at the community level and across the health, education and other sectors to increase knowledge and change attitudes around the practice.
In 2023, UNICEF reached 11 million adolescent girls with prevention and care interventions empowering them to delay marriage and choose their own futures.
6. Fewer kids are out of school.
The world stands on the cusp of realizing primary education as a basic right of every child. A world where more children learn is a world that is healthier, more prosperous and more resilient.
In the early 1950s, roughly half of all primary school-aged children were out of school. Now it's less than 10 percent. And every year, 23 million more girls are completing secondary school compared to a decade ago...
7. The world is on track to eliminate open defecation by 2030.
In the last two decades, 2.5 billion people have gained access to safely managed sanitation, while the number of people practicing open defecation has also declined by two-thirds — from 1.3 billion in 2000 to 419 million in 2022 — putting the world on track to eliminate the practice entirely.
Ending open defecation drastically lowers the risks of diseases and malnutrition among children in low-income and lower-middle-income countries. Child deaths from diarrhea — a leading killer of young children — have already decreased by 60 percent...
8. Birth registration rates are way up.
Today, 77 percent of children under 5 are registered, up from 60 percent in the early 2000s — a major leap towards ensuring every child has a legal identity and can access health, education and other essential services...
Countries that prioritize birth registration see rapid progress. In Côte d’Ivoire, birth registration prevalence rose steadily from 65 percent in 2012 to 96 percent by 2021, proving that change at scale is possible.
9. A future free from HIV seems possible, one baby at a time.
An estimated 1.9 million deaths and 4 million HIV infections have been averted among pregnant women and children in the past 25 years...
10. In times of crisis and emergency, UNICEF is there — helping to save more children's lives than any other humanitarian organization.
[Note: Okay, I think they're cheating listing this one, but the article header said 10 things, so if I included only 9 it would be weird. Obviously this is an article from UNICEF, but UNICEF's data, reporting, and statistics are considered to be of high quality.]

Aslı Aydıntaşbaş for Politico Magazine:
American democracy is about to undergo a serious stress test. I know how it feels, in part because I lived through the slow and steady march of state capture as a journalist working in Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s Turkey. Over a decade as a high-profile journalist, I covered Turkey’s descent into illiberalism, having to engage in the daily push and pull with the government. I know how self-censorship starts in small ways but then creeps into operations on a daily basis. I am familiar with the rhythms of the battle to reshape the media, state institutions and the judiciary. Having lived through it, and having gathered some lessons in hindsight, I believe that there are strategies that can help Democrats and Trump critics not only survive the coming four years, but come out stronger. Here are six of them.
1. Don’t Panic — Autocracy Takes Time
President-elect Donald Trump’s return to power is unnerving but, as I have argued previously, America will not turn into a dictatorship overnight — or in four years. Even the most determined strongmen face internal hurdles, from the bureaucracy to the media and the courts. It took Erdoğan well over a decade to fully consolidate his power. Hungary’s Viktor Orbán and Poland’s Law and Justice Party needed years to erode democratic norms and fortify their grip on state institutions.
I am not suggesting that the United States is immune to these patterns, but it’s important to remember that its decentralized system of governance — the network of state and local governments — offers enormous resilience. Federal judges serve lifetime appointments, states and governors have specific powers separate from those granted federally, there are local legislatures, and the media has the First Amendment as a shield, reinforced by over a century of legal precedents. Sure, there are dangers, including by a Supreme Court that might grant great deference to the president. But in the end, Donald Trump really only has two years to try to execute state capture. Legal battles, congressional pushback, market forces, midterm elections in 2026 and internal Republican dissent will slow him down and restrain him. The bottom line is that the U.S. is too decentralized in its governance system for a complete takeover. The Orbánization of America is not an imminent threat.
2. Don’t Disengage — Stay Connected
[...]
Nothing is more meaningful than being part of a struggle for democracy. That’s why millions of Turks turned out to the polls and gave the opposition a historic victory in local governments across Turkey earlier this year. That’s how the Poles organized a winning coalition to vote out the conservative Law and Justice Party last year. It can happen here, too. The answer to political defeat is not to disconnect, but to organize. You can take a couple of days or weeks off, commiserate with friends and mute Elon Musk on X — or erase the app altogether. But in the end, the best way to develop emotional resilience is greater engagement.
[...]
4. Charismatic Leadership Is a Non-Negotiable
One lesson from Turkey and Hungary is clear: You will lose if you don’t find a captivating leader, as was the case in 2023 general elections in Turkey and in 2022 in Hungary. Coalition-building or economic messaging is necessary and good. But it is not enough. You need charisma to mobilize social dissent. [...]
Last year’s elections in Poland and Turkey showcased how populist incumbents can be defeated (or not defeated, as in general elections in Turkey in 2023) depending on the opposition’s ability to unite around compelling candidates who resonate with voters. Voters seek authenticity and a connection — give it to them.
5. Skip the Protests and Identity Politics
Soon, Trump opponents will shake off the doldrums and start organizing an opposition campaign. But how they do it matters. For the longest time in Turkey, the opposition made the mistake of relying too much on holding street demonstrations and promoting secularism, Turkey’s version of identity politics, which speaks to the urban professional and middle class but not beyond. [...]
6. Have Hope
Nothing lasts forever and the U.S. is not the only part of the world that faces threats to democracy — and Americans are no different than the French, the Turks or Hungarians when it comes to the appeal of the far right. But in a country with a strong, decentralized system of government and with a long-standing tradition of free speech, the rule of law should be far more resilient than anywhere in the world. Trump’s return to power certainly poses challenges to U.S. democracy. But he will make mistakes and overplay his hand — at home and abroad. America will survive the next four years if Democrats pick themselves up and start learning from the successes of opponents of autocracy across the globe.
Aslı Aydıntaşbaş, who had first-hand experience with Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’s authoritarianism in her native Turkey as a journalist, wrote in Politico Magazine on how to effectively fight Donald Trump’s authoritarian impulses.

Women are the superior sex.
Tumblr media
We create and nurture human life, serving as the backbone of society. Women uphold humanity and build communities. Despite centuries of degradation, oppression, and systemic barriers, we continue to surpass men. In education, women now outperform men academically. Many of the so-called “great” inventions credited to men were, in reality, stolen from women, only for women’s names to be erased from history.
Biologically, women are more valuable. We live longer, possess stronger immune systems, have higher stress resilience, and are genetically more stable due to our two X chromosomes, which provide genetic protection. Women are essential for the continuation of the human species. Societies with a high female population are more peaceful, stable, and harmonious. Even Mother Nature favors women—during times of extreme stress and famine, female fetuses are more likely to survive. A woman’s body will naturally abort a male fetus, as the XY chromosome is expendable and worthless. Men die earlier, have weaker immune systems, are more likely to be born with birth defects, and are more prone to genetic disorders. I truly believe Males shouldn’t even exist in the large numbers they do currently.
Male value has always been artificial and manufactured. Men by default are more of a burden to the world than anything. Men commit most violent crimes and engage in anti-social behaviors. Prisons are male-dominated, creating a financial burden on governments. A surplus male population leads to increases in human trafficking and social unrest. The effects of China’s one-child policy serve as an example—after the mass murder of female infants and the artificial skewing of the gender ratio in favor of males, China now faces a 30-million-surplus male population. In almost all species, having a high male population is unnatural. As a result, China is experiencing increased human trafficking, rising crime rates, an aging population, and social instability. Males shouldn’t even exist in such large numbers. At birth, males are expendable and worthless by default. A surplus male population is more detrimental to society than anything else. The more you overvalue Men’s natural worth and undervalue Women’s natural worth, patriarchal societies will continue to reap what they sow, and find themselves in this situation. In an artificial, man-made society, system may favour men however nature, biology and the truth will always be on the side of women.
If males were truly superior, as they claim, they wouldn’t need to constantly remind us of their supposed superiority or use outdated systems of power to justify it and claim that ‘men built the world’ when women were deliberately excluded from participating in society and denied access to resources, making us artificially dependent and forcing us to rely on men for survival and to deal with males in the capacities Women have been forced to deal with them. Yet, despite all the rape, torture, humiliation, and abuse women have been subjected to at the hands of men, along with the oppression and discrimination, women have closed the gap within just a few decades and are now outperforming men. As soon as women regain even a small fraction of our rights, we excel, outperform, and thrive
Men’s survival depends on women, not the other way around. There is no metric in which single men outperform single women. Men need women far more than we need them. Men are confirmed parasites, and women are the hosts. Men suck the life out of women, benefiting from relationships and close proximity to Women. Everything they say against women is merely a projection of their own deficiencies, lack of value, and worthlessness. Remember Women brought these men into the world, and women can just as easily choose to stop bringing these men into the world.

notes: female reader, married life
Tumblr media
you share a sympathetic smile with your tired husband, a soft sigh going unnoticed under your breath. he sighs as well, looking back down at the little crying bundle in his arms, pressed safely against his bare chest.
it terrified the two of you when joon, your 1 month old baby, developed her first cold yesterday. she only had a few symptoms; a stuffy nose, some coughs, and general discomfort that made her cry more than usual. you rushed her to the hospital as soon as you noticed them anyway, unable to keep your own tears at bay. new parents and all. luckily your baby’s doctor reassured you both that it’s common for babies to catch colds as their immune systems are still building, and that joon’s symptoms are mild so there’s no cause for concern.
with that, you stopped by the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for infant tylenol, and headed back home to make your baby as comfortable as possible. the one positive in this scenario is that it happened at a good time. your husband is still out of work on leave, so he has the ability to help as much as he has been.
hyunjin reaches down to softly push some dark, fine hair out of joon’s scrunched face. he adjusts the sleeves of her daisy-spotted onesie so that her little hands peek out, and he gives her butt some gentle, comforting pats. “i know, little one, i know,” he coos,” you’ll be okay. appa is gonna take good care of you.”
you smile again, a more warm, fond smile. you bask in the sight of your husband looking down at your daughter with eyes as sparkly as the heavens. this is your entire world right here.
you walk up closer to hyunjin, placing a comforting hand on his back, and look closer at your baby. the gentle butt patting and swaying of daddy’s arms seems to be calming her down, slowly but surely. finally.
you say in nothing more than a whisper,” she’s lucky.. to have the best daddy in the world.”
hyunjin looks at you, his gaze soft. there's so many things he could say right now, about how he's the lucky one to have two beautiful girls in his life, and how he would move heaven and earth if it meant you'd be happy. but he remains silent, watching you closely as you start to hum for joon, a habit you developed while you were still pregnant with her. it’s not a specific song, just a tune that comes from the heart.
here your small family stands. joon's eyes finally beginning to close, and you humming as you reach over and rub her soft cheek with one finger.
taking care of a sick baby is hard work. but here you two are, gaining another experience as parents, your little family growing stronger. and there are many more to come.
"alright, darling.. you can start heading to bed. i'll be right there, i just need to get her settled in her cot."

Hi, this is my first time asking here I really love your work and also the whole reason me going into the DC fandom really... Anyway, back to my request can you do like a fluffy interaction with the batfamily when child (male or gn) reader told them that they had a "boyfriend" at school.
Not entirely sure if this is really you're cup of tea and if not you can ignore it.
:D
Oh this is my cup of tea, don't worry. And I got you into DC fandom? I hope you like the fandom so far.
Summary: (Y/N) is slowly growing up. Bruce and the others can't handle it.
Warnings: fluff, Bruce and everyone is emotional, just pure fluff everyone, Titus makes an appearance
Tumblr media
The family has been going through a rather tough time recently. (Y/N) has started going to kindergarten and they couldn't see him for almost the entire day. Bruce knew it was important that (Y/N) starts socializing with children his age.
Bruce knew that is was important for (Y/N) to do it and he needs to get over all the child sicknesses. Such as chicken pox and some others. It would build his immunity system and make him stronger. And it was difficult the first day.
Everyone was emotional that first day. All of them barley kept it together as they walked (Y/N) to the kindergarten, more so to the place where he would be spending time until he needs to go to elementary school.
(Y/N) was nervous at first, but Bruce assured him how they would be back to get him back. The brothers all said goodbye and nearly broke down when (Y/N) left and everyone, including Alfred broke down in the car.
" He is growing up so quickly. " Jason said as he was wiping his eyes, trying not to cry fully.
" I know. " Dick said, not even keeping his cool anymore. Bruce and Damian didn't cry, but they were definitely sad about the fact that they couldn't see their brother anyone. Tim was just quiet as he sniffed quietly and Alfred simply looked ahead, outright refusing to cry.
Everyone went on with their days and once they were done with work or school, they would pick up (Y/N). (Y/N) was happy to his family once more and he just wanted a hug from his dad.
And he wanted to be carried by his dad. It was their tradition after all. Soon, Bruce had to update the list of people who could pick him up and included everyone in the family, besides Damian. The kindergarten policy made it clear that you needed to present ID every time you want to pick him up.
Bruce had to admit, he was impressed with the sheer security of the kindergarten and the way that they made sure that nobody unauthorized or somebody who had more sinister motives could get in. Thankfully.
(Y/N) has been going for a few months and he liked it very much. He has made a few friends and Bruce couldn't be happier. (Y/N)'s brother's were happy too. (Y/N) was happy, liked going there and had fun.
What more could they ask for? Nothing more.
As long as their brother is happy, so are they.
It was all going to be fine.
Well, that fine turned into pure confusion when (Y/N) was home. It was a Saturday. (Y/N) and the family was having a family night and (Y/N) was watching a movie in his father's lap, enjoying the contact from his father. Bruce covered his son in a blanket, making sure it was warm. It has started snowing a few hours ago and it was perfect.
More importantly, it was peaceful.
Until (Y/N) started to speak.
It was all fine.
" I forgot to tell you something! " (Y/N) declared as he sat up upright. Bruce glanced at (Y/N) and hummed at him, showing him that he had his attention.
" I have a boyfriend! "
Those four words made Bruce's head spin and he swears he hears that he has heard something crash in the kitchen. Jason spat out his water, coughing the rest of it out. Dick wept and Damian froze. Tim blinked a few times.
What the hell?!
" I'm sorry, what do you mean by that? " Bruce asked as he got some of his composure back. (Y/N) smiled widely and Bruce had to make sure he didn't fall down.
" I have a boyfriend! We hold hands and do everything together! " (Y/N) said loudly and Dick wept louder. Jason took a deep breath and Damian blinked a few times. Tim just drank his coffee. Nope. He is too pumped with caffeine to even think about it.
" What's wrong with Dick? " (Y/N) asked, looking at his brother who was weeping. Jason gave Dick a hug and Dick was mumbling the words so quickly and grow up. In not really particular order actually.
" Nothing (Y/N), you know how he gets emotional. " Bruce explained and (Y/N) let out a little huh. Bruce wanted to cry really, but he couldn't. His son was growing up too soon, but growing up is normal.
It's going to happen eventually.
Sooner rather than later.
" Come here. " Dick said as he wiped his eyes. He stood up and took (Y/N) into his arms, hugging him. His brother can't grow up. No. It's completely wrong and not- No.
(Y/N) can't grow up. No.
(Y/N) was confused as to why Dick would cry. Why? Is he sad? Why would be sad?
" Why are you said Dick? " (Y/N) asked and Dick finally found it in himself to chuckle. He gave (Y/N) a kiss on the cheek.
" I'm not sad baby bird. "
" Then why are you crying? When you are sad, you cry. " (Y/N) stated and Dick shook his head fondly.
" Sometimes, when you are so happy, you are so overwhelmed with happiness that you just start crying. " Dick explained and (Y/N) let out a little oh, leaning his head on Dick's shoulder.
Dick sighed as he sat down on the couch and Alfred finally made his way into the the living room.
" Master Bruce, did I hear correctly? Master (Y/N) has a boyfriend? " Alfred asked, clearly not wanting to believe it. His youngest grandson has a boyfriend?
" Yes, (Y/N) has a boyfriend. " Bruce confirmed and Alfred sighed quietly, pinching the bridge of his nose. His grandson will send him to his grave. Early grave, mind you.
Jason sighed as he wanted Dick to hand (Y/N) over to him. His brother can't have a boyfriend now. He is a baby in his eyes and he can't have a boyfriend or a girlfriend for that matter until he is about 30.
That is a reasonable age to have a boyfriend. Right?
" Should I open up the scotch? " Alfred asked and Bruce smiled at the suggestion.
" Later Alfred. "
" As you wish master Bruce. "
" Dad? " (Y/N) asked from Jason's arms and Bruce felt something warm in his heart.
" Yes? "
" Can we go out to play in the snow? Pretty please. " (Y/N) asked and Bruce nodded in agreement.
" Of course we can. But you need to make sure that you are warm. You can't get a cold can you? " Bruce said as he picked (Y/N) up from Jason and (Y/N) let out a little hurray.
" He is too pure for this world. " Damian said once (Y/N) and Bruce left the room to bundle up. and there was something that everyone could agree on. Even Jason and Damian could agree on that phrase.
Titus wagged his tail as he whined for Damian to open the door to the garden. Damian did so and Titus started playing in the snow. It was weird to see such a black mass in the white snow.
Titus almost looked like a demon and then that image was gone when (Y/N) ran over to Titus. Titus was very happy, tail wagging like mad, but still remained calm and gentle with his little brother. Bruce watched as (Y/N) ran around, making angels and throwing snowballs at Bruce.
Titus would also run for snowballs that the two would make, considering that they couldn't find his tennis balls to throw. He was confused at the way the would disappear, but still came back for more.
" Maybe we have overreacted. " Dick said and everyone agreed in a certain way. (Y/N) is a child and he probably doesn't know the meaning of the word. But they know that sooner or later they will have an actual boyfriend on their hands.
Hopefully that will never happen. Hopefully.

ive probably said it before but i like to think that, like, categorically, mob is an energy eater - canonically takes in atmospheric energy and the energy of other espers to increase his own, so simply by being alive and in energy-dense locations he's going to get stronger, stronger, stronger, which i think explains how his powers seem to grow as he ages - and even then, grow significantly between the seasons because he's around a TON more psychic energy. fortunately this is a pretty gradual process so he's able to adjust to the influx, train himself, etc
saiki, though, i like to hc along the lines of a reality warper. if he thinks it hard enough, needs it hard enough, he can effectively will it to happen. this explains the new powers as the plot demands thing and the sheer extent of his powers comparatively. it makes for an interesting dynamic where his circumstances and the people around him are constantly pushing him and requiring him to expand his limits, meanwhile saiki does his damndest to constrain himself and shut himself down, so there's a pretty consistent battle happening that way. this goes back to my hc of his powers effectively being a second immune system for him - if he wants something to not work on him, his ESP will learn it and build defenses for it. this doesnt mean he can't be stymied by obstacles or overwhelmed like with the volcano. he has his limits, both self imposed and natural.
just thoughts just thoughts

ok but your PV and witch child! Reader is so adorable and I need to put my two cents in. When little witch reader gets sick, I bet all hell breaks loose for multiple reasons. I’ve babysat before, So it always breaks my heart when they get sick and stuff, especially when it’s that first scare for young children who haven’t been sick before. they’re just so pure and miserable but you can’t do anything :( PV would be so torn apart by their sad faces and being in pain. He probably wouldn’t heal the sickness immediately because he wants his kid to build immunity so he lets it run its course but it’s still like willingly touching hot metal for him :( and anyone else who’s there
number 2: the weather and stuff gets wonky from the little witch magic. Sunny days switch to flash floods or heavy thunderstorms turn into heatwaves. Even all in one day if it’s a you-should-check-with-a-hospital level kind of sickness. We all have that one hospital visit sickness as a kid(or maybe you’re lucky idk)
number 3: PV and the others are on edge because this is a human illness. Cookies getting sick versus a little witch is an entirely new experience. So they can only really use their knowledge of when they have gotten sick to help. Everyone is jumpy because they don’t know what could happen. Especially PV who is watching his kid with emotions that can be summed up as: :’( my baby…
Oh DEFINITELY! I think that the child would slowly get sick after playing a lot in the snow drifts with Caramel Arrow Cookie while PV visits the Dark Cacao kingdom for a bit to settle some business between the two kingdoms. But once they get home, the toddler looses their appetite and struggles to stay awake. PV, naturally thinking that they are tired after such a long trip, puts them down for a nice nap. However, citizens start coming into the kingdom's castle to tell PV about the sudden weather changes. PV literally stands in the doorway of the castle and watches the weather flick over from sunny, to drought-like conditions, to sudden rainfall, and to a small hail storm. He immediately knows that he needs to check on his little one and he finds them whimpering and tossing about in their bed with a look of extreme discomfort. The next few days would be a rough trial for Pure Vanilla, as he tries his best to keep them comfortable enough to lighten up the weather outside, but it still affects the way that the environment balances itself. He keeps them cool, comforted, and filled with yummy jam soup while they endure the sickness. But only when the little one feels like they could eat, as he doesn't force them otherwise. He may loose precious sleep while tending to them, but he tries his best to get them through such a rough patch. Then one day, the sun rises and all the weather phenomenon is normal and completely typical. He checks on his little one and is relieved that their fever finally broke and that their own immune system was able to fight off whatever was ailing them. When they wake up, they happily embrace their father and beg for a good meal after nothing but jam soup for the last few days. To which their relieved tired father is more than happy to oblige. Human illnesses are hard for cookies to deal with, especially ones that can only be fought off by the human's own immune system. But with a few trial and error methods, they eventually find some good remedies to help the tiny human cope with sicknesses while they grow up into a stronger adult. Pure Vanilla would definitely be sleeping like a rock after such an intense scare and exhausting acts of caring for the human while they recovered from their intense fever. He also thinks about getting them inoculated...but he doubts that anything that cookies made for vaccines would work for humans. Maybe he needs to reach out and see if there is an expert or a cookie with the perfect background for developing preventives? Who knows. He's just glad that it's over and that the weather finally has it's own will back.

The Big Guide to Humans: Home Planet
Humans come from a small, rocky planet, called Terra or Earth or some other translation of "dirt," where they lived on the land surface despite the planet being mostly covered (area and volume) by water. They do, however, measure temperature in a scale based approximately on the freezing and boiling points of water (at their average atmospheric pressure), set to 0 and 100. As with "years" (see lifespan and development), your local human can probably tell you the conversion to local measurements, if the knowledge is not in your local storage and the numbers are not being converted automatically by your translation dock. The planet's rotational axis is tilted relative to its orbital plane, resulting in "seasons," a predictable progression of local temperatures between local lows to local highs and back over the course of an orbit, despite its nearly round trajectory. This is in addition to the smaller temperature changes of the day/night cycle. Terran weather temperatures range from -90, below the freezing point of radon, to 60, nearly the boiling point of bromine, though humans mostly live where the weather over the course of a year ranges between -20 to 45.
Humans infamously breathe oxygen, but Terra's atmosphere is actually mostly nitrogen. The 23% oxygen concentration is enough for fires to sustain easily, assuming fuel and initial ignition, but low enough that fires smother nearly immediately when fully covered. Terra's rotation and heat from Sol combine to cause a predictable pattern of convection known as prevailing winds. Winds are often strong enough to move light objects without causing damage, not uncommonly strong enough to make it difficult for humans to move against it, or stronger, and sometimes strong enough to cause damage to buildings. This is in addition to regional threats of "extreme" winds, most notably tornadoes (fast-moving, localized funnels of winds strong enough rip buildings apart and fling heavy objects) and cyclones (weaker than a tornado, but traveling slowly and raining so copiously that shelters are also damaged by water).
Having such copious rain that buildings are damaged can happen outside of a cyclone, as well. While humans can swim surprisingly well for a non-liquid-dwelling species, this water has usually picked up so many contaminants that it is capable of overwhelming a human's immune system if it enters their body via their mouth or damaged skin.
Alternately, little or no water may fall on an area that does not usually experience water scarcity. The resulting "drought" kills plants and animals that cannot be moved. This is less predictable, but takes multiple years to come into effect. A vegetated area facing drought, however, is at particular risk for a wild fire, a fire that becomes too large and fast-moving to be smothered. Areas as big as residential ships can burned before the fire runs out of fuel or is able to be drenched.
Terra's planetary surface is made up of several pieces of "crust" floating on top of its liquid center. At the edges of these pieces, or at cracks in the pieces, huge pieces of crust can be forced upward or buckle under the pressure. Done slowly, so slowly no one notices, this produces mountains. Done quickly, it produces "earth quakes." Some earth quakes can only be sensed by sensors, but others cause buildings to shake apart. Humans know where these edges are and, instead of not building there, they design buildings that are able to resist being shaken. If the locus of the shaking is near or under the ocean, it can cause a fast-moving, towering wave called a "tsunami." An average tsunami is capable of obliterating buildings when it reaches shore, and then sucking any survivors into the ocean when it recedes (with strength far past even the best human swimmers). As with earth quakes, humans design buildings to survive being struck by this wall of water. The same edges and cracks also produce volcanoes, places where the earth's liquid center oozes or bursts out of the ground. This liquid will be at temperatures of 700 or more, above the melting temperature of radium and on past the the melting temperature of gold. It can cause fires when it touches things in addition to being so heavy and/or voluminous that it covers items in its path. Humans generally do not build very close to volcanoes that are frequently or explosively active. However, if a volcano is only likely to erupt once or twice within a human lifespan, or tends to ooze rather than burst, they will simply use several sensors to know when it will happen so they can get out of the way. Because they all originate in the same geological source, it is common to have two of these crack-based issues at once and not unusual to have all three.
Sometimes, rain falls in tiny frozen pieces, covering the ground in a layer of ice chips. Sometimes it falls in large rocks of ice, breaking and shattering what it strikes. Sometimes the temperature is anomalously hot or cold in places where the wildlife and human dwellings are not adapted to those temperatures. Sometimes massive sparks of electricity shoot from the sky to the ground. Sometimes the side of a mountain — or the ice chips piled on the side of the mountain — will fall off and slide down, burying and crushing everything in the way. Sometimes erosion under the surface will cause the surface to give way, leaving a hole in the ground big enough to swallow a person or a building. Sometimes the liquid inside Terra doesn't burst through the surface, but super-heats water until it does. While none of these features are unique to Terra, even among inhabited planets, it is uncommon for an inhabited planet to have so many of these features and it is nearly unique among humans to choose to live in afflicted areas. It can be helpful to understand, when one is wondering why humans and other life from their planet are "like that," that life only evolved on Terra once* and then experienced a burst of population up to and beyond local carrying capacities. Every species, including the plants, shares a common ancestor, and every creature that was ever born (hatched, sprouted, divided, etc) faced immediate competition from other, similar creatures. The ability to run faster, eat weirder, live hardier, spread farther provided an immediate benefit. Furthermore, in addition to the horrors described in this chapter of this guide, in Terra's planetary history there are multiple near-extinction-level events — new chemosynthetic species producing upheavals in the atmospheric gas balance, an asteroid strike, massive volcanic eruptions choking the air with ash and blocking energy from Sol — that further pressed evolution. Terra, truly, has earned its reputation as a death world — but less so for the life that has formed there.
*there is a long-standing idea that cephalopods may have originated separately, but this is really only taken seriously by the Chiparsen, who used to colonize via panspermia. While the Unified Government no longer accepts this as a valid territorial claim, the Chiparsen still hope to prove relation in order to put forth a diplomatic demand that Terrans remove cephalopods from their diet.

By Kelly Betts
People can’t see my disability from the outside. I worry that in this current political climate and with the new law, it may not end at the comments and harassment I already face.
On Thursday, officials in Nassau County, New York, where I live, signed a mask ban into law, one of the first of its kind in the country. And while to most healthy adults it doesn’t mean much, to those with serious health conditions, like me, it makes getting out into the world a lot harder.
The ban was touted by lawmakers as a public safety measure after reported antisemitic incidents and protests at various New York universities, many involving people wearing masks. Those who violate the new law face a misdemeanor charge punishable by up to a year in jail and a $1,000 fine. And while there are exemptions for people with religious and medical reasons, it’s not dealing with the law that I’m afraid of. It’s dealing with the “citizen cops” of the world who will be using their discretion to enforce it.
I was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia in February 2023. It’s a fast-growing type of blood cancer. I underwent more than five rounds of chemotherapy, and the following July, thanks to an amazingly generous donor, I had a stem cell transplant, something I knew nothing about until I got sick. I was given some of the most powerful chemotherapies to kill my old immune system and any remaining cancer cells. Then I was given my donor’s stem cells to help build a brand-new immune system.
There are a lot of risks that come along with the transplant, especially in the early stages as the stem cells are engrafting and you have no immune system. The first 100 days are the riskiest, and you must watch everything from what you eat to how it’s prepared, and most of all the people around you. Your body is starting from scratch, so you have almost no immunities. Any vaccinations you’ve had over your lifetime have been wiped out. For the last year since my transplant, my immune system has slowly been getting stronger. But building a new immune system takes years, and I have a long way to go. So, wearing my face mask whenever I go out is essential.
That brings me back to the new law. I wear a medic alert bracelet and would hope that showing it to the police, should it ever become an issue, would be enough. But that’s not guaranteed, because anyone can just order one. Would I be forced to show up in court to prove my medical condition to a judge? And what cost and time could that take, all to protect my health? And what about my family or people who act as caregivers, who don’t technically have medical conditions of their own, but still wear masks to protect me? Would there be an exemption for them?
Most of all, I worry about those who have strong feelings against masks. As we know, many people read headlines and not always the full story. And just reading most of the headlines, all someone will know is that there’s a mask ban in Nassau County. Even at the height of my illness, with no hair and really looking like I had cancer, I still got comments like “Covid is over” or “that’s not protecting you.” And while the few comments hurt, especially while I was battling for my life, I could shake them off. I had a bigger fight ahead of me.
Now, healthier with hair again and 43 years old, the comments continue. But I worry that in this current political climate and with the new law, it may not end at that. People can’t see my disability from the outside. It’s been hard to get back out in the world, as many can relate to after going through a global pandemic. Even being as careful as I am and just starting to let my guard down a little in outdoor settings, I caught Covid. And it took my body and immune system down hard. Luckily, I’m recovering and back to wearing my mask diligently, even outdoors.
I want to be able to return to my normal life. And go out with friends, see a Broadway show, and one day get back to my office in the city. But now with New York City considering passing its own mask ban, I don’t know when I would feel safe enough to do that. Is this law really protecting the masses?

I wanna ramble about Maria in that fic idea-
Was brought out of stasis five years before the fic, around late teens-early twenties
Was shot in front of Shadow like in canon. However, GUN took her after Shadow was ejected. Her survival was kept secret from Gerald and the rest of her family.
Maria was placed in a medical coma because of her gunshot wound and suddenly moving back to Earth after so long in space led her NIDS to start wrecking her body.
GUN decided to move her to stasis because they had no actual reason to kill Maria. However, some scientists suggested using Maria to better understand NIDS. The stasis ended up being on and off so scientists could do tests and take samples without the stasis state messing up the results.
The longest she was out of stasis in those 45 years was six months, when she received the first perfected cure for NIDS.
The cure both worked and didn't work, giving Maria a stronger immune system and a bit more strength, but still suffering from her bad days
Fun fact! Some coma patients can still hear and feel! So...yeah.
The constant on and off of stasis led her growth to be...weird. When she "moved in" with Ivo, her growth started to stabilize.
When Tower took command, he had her immediately released from stasis and the medical coma. Over the years, Tower had a image of Maria as the sweet, kind angel of a girl that Shadow and Gerald also had. Except that is not the case- Maria has been angry and in pain for years. The minute Tower told her Shadow was dead, he was marked for death.
Ivo and Stone busted her out the next day.
Nowadays, she wears red and black, saving blue for in private. She wears her hair short with the ends dyed red. In public, she wears contacts to make her eyes brown.
She does not actually work with Robotnik in his evil plans. Instead, she runs a research lab dedicated to understanding the Chaos Emeralds. The lab is run under Stone's name.
This research actually meant that she and Knuckles know each other and are friendly towards each other.
Rouge and her are also friends. Neither will explain on how they met.
Robotnik tried to get her to join him in villainy. He was the second target of her anger. He leaves her alone after that.
Maria and Ivo have a strained relationship in general and their care for each other is mostly based on the fact that they are the only two Robotniks left. (Sage, build for Stone, has Stone's name.)
Maria's relationship with Sonic is also strained, but friendly. They think the other is cool, especially Sonic, but Maria is reminded of Shadow whenever she and Sonic Co. meet.
Dealing with depression and guilt but no longer has to keep her anger and pain in

Is there any way we can overpower Chrollo physically? It sucks that he’s more cunning than us, but stronger too😭??
that's the thing about yandere hxh characters, you're kinda just screwed. literally and metaphorically. in certain power systems — take stands from jjba, for example — the super cool ability is a separate entity. the stand user themselves are vulnerable to anything a normal human being would be. this gives some leeway, a little silver lining to cling to. in hxh though, it's gg. these people are craaaazy when considered strong in universe. immunity to poison, capable of stopping a fatal attack with muscles alone (miss machi < 3), being able to almost instantly scale a four story building, en, zetsu... it's rough. that doesn't even take into account the wild possibility of hatsu that chrollo has at his disposal. in terms of physical strength, i think back to the zoldyck gate test as a sort of touchstone.
at the end of the chimera ant arc, killua can open the door that weighs 64 tons (aka 128,000 pounds), and his body stat is listed at 4/5.
here are chrollo's stats:
Tumblr media
so................ that means chrollo could, at the bare minimum, lift 128,000 pounds... 😭 that's forty times as heavy as a car. the man is strong. you just gotta cut your losses and wave the white flag at that point. no wonder you can't win against him in an arm wrestling match, even when you cheat and use both hands.
it really is wild whenever he's casual about this level of strength. you'll be pulling over because of a flat tire, and while you're taunting him about not having a car jack, he just . picks up the car with one hand as if it's an everyday occurrence before you can even finish your sentence. like whaaaat the fuck. he could at least throw a grunt in there to pretend it's a bit straining. after everything's fixed and he goes to put his hand on your thigh you can't help but stare, for a reason aside from disgust this time. what is this hand capable of. it dawns on you that breaking bones must be to him what snapping a toothpick is for you. when he goes to give the flesh a playful squeeze you ask him to please be careful, much to his confusion. when he realizes the reason you're being so tentative, he 'reassures' you by promising he can control himself around you just fine.
... despite this, you calm down when it comes to insulting him for at least two days. maybe three.

Like many debunked ideas, hygiene theory and the myth of the bored immune system have become entrenched. A couple of years ago, hygiene theory got repackaged as "immunity debt." Now Americans, Canadians, and many Europeans think they need to get sick to stay healthy. The elites have absolutely no problem with that. It saves them countless billions to let everyone continue thinking they're better off letting diseases run around in their cells.
So:
Your immune system doesn't work like a muscle. It doesn't get stronger the more it's exposed to different harmful germs.
It doesn't need practice.
...
Think of it like this:
Your body already knows how to heal its skin and bones. You don't have to teach it how to do that by cutting yourself or breaking your arm.
As it happens, many westerners also think bones grow back stronger after they're broken and scar tissue is tougher than normal skin.
That's also false.
Scar tissue remains functionally deficient in many ways compared to uninjured skin. Broken bones form a temporary calcium callus that's stronger than ordinary bone, but it's eventually replaced.
These misguided ideas fit in a culture obsessed with tough love, the idea that abusing someone somehow builds their character. And while it might make you interesting, it's certainly not "good" for you.'

HI UM UR PROBABLY NOT GONNA FIND THIS LMAO BUT I LUV UR ART AND I WOULD LOVE TO HEAR THE BH ALPHONSE HEADCANONS U MENTIONED IN YOUR ART A WHILE AGO SRY
Tumblr media
Sorry this took so long BUT headcanons!! Above is pretty much all (that I can remember atm) my physical hcs for Alphonse :)
Other hcs:
I don’t have too many hcs about Alphonse that aren’t based on his physical appearance, but here are a few
* I think his hair is important to him especially when he was in the armour because it’s the one thing about his physical appearance that he had control over, aside from maybe the loincloth thing he wears. I might draw a little mini comic abt this hc someday, so when his hair had to be cut in briggs he was really upset (which he was actually pretty upset in canon so it’s kind of building on that in a way?) . I also like to think that sometimes they braid each others hair or do other things with it.
* He loves music, especially the type of music that makes you want to dance. Another thing I like thinking about relating to this is him maybe taking a walk during the night and watching live performances in local pubs etc. He has to have some sort of feeling being in the armour I think otherwise I don’t think he’d be able to move as well as he does, maybe not a physical feeling but I think he can maybe sense vibrations which is why I think he would like music, especially LOUD music.
* He has a bit of a stronger accent than Ed does (they both have pretty heavy country accents imo and I love seeing things like that included in fan work) mostly because Ed does most of the talking and had to deal with higher-ups etc therefore trying to hide his accent a bit because of maybe not being taken seriously.
* This is purely projection but the elrics are Irish, I’m Irish so THEY ARE TOO. Or at least half.
* Nightmares 😁 horrible, horrible nightmares. I feel like the things he’s been through get ignored sometimes by a lot of fans. Eds already sort of had the worst of his nightmares but since Alphonse only got his body back AFTER like almost every single traumatic thing happened to him I think he would have them pretty intensely and for a while, it would probably take a long time for them to settle down.
* A fear of blood, or at least others blood. You do not go through things like carrying your blood-covered, dying older brother to get help and someone literally being murdered inSIDE of you without developing some sort of fear or trauma response when it comes to blood I think
* He tries to pick up an instrument or two over time and tries to get Ed to aswell, I think he’d probably play piano or something like a fiddle maybe
* Has autism and PTSD along with a probably not great immune system
* Has a lot of trouble seeing himself as a person and not just an object. Times when, for example, people grab his helmet and chuck it or the multiple times people take control of his body without his consent. The little comic I did recently kind of explores it and is sort of another little hc I have for him where even though he can’t feel gestures like hugs or pats on the back etc he still likes it for the most part because it makes him feel more human (but I feel like that’s kind of canon tbh) little comic linked below v :]
That’s all! For the moment at least, long post, very sorry again!

☆ Mun is 21
☆ Blog is 16+
☆ No Homophobes, Sexists, Transphobes, Racists, Abilism, TERFs, or any of the sort here please
☆ Mun also runs: These Accounts :3
Introduction Info
☆ Name: Heron. No last name...
☆ Nicknames: None given yet.... he's very "new"
☆ Age: Technically 22, has all the memories of Wren of the past 22 years, but hasn't existed for very long as "Heron"
☆ Gender: Male (he/him)
☆ Sexuality: Gay
☆ Job: ...still figuring that out.
☆ Fandom: DC
Appearence Info
☆ Hair: Black, grown out long with an undercut. The underside is dyed blue and typically kept up.
☆ Eyes: very pale blue, have a bit of a glow to them
☆ Skin: Very fair with moles, three on his face in particular. Two under his left eye and one under his lip.
☆ Height: 5’7"
☆ Body Type: lean, doesn't do as much to keep himself in shape as much as Wren does
☆ Identifiable Features: Cracks along his face and parts of his body, a physical embodiment of what happened to him... he won't talk about it, so don't bother asking. There are stars on his body, mostly along his spine, hands and forearms, and all along his legs, plus one on his forehead... they glow with strong emotions... Heron hasn't seen them glow since he escaped. Not unless he wakes from his nightmares.
☆ Clothing Style: Doesn't have much of a style anymore other than likes to keep himself covered and comfortable. Still likes blue though...
Meta Abilities
Divide and Conquer
☆ Heron has the ability to make duplicates of virtually anything. Objects, plants, living animals, even people. These copies are indistinguishable from the real thing down to the atom, even the people all have the same memories and personality, and all make the same choices given the same decision.
☆ Heron can use these abilities down to the cellular level, and uses them to heal himself. He learned how to heal them so well, that he accidently made his body into the ultimate immune system. It won't even let him stay dead for long. Though, as a duplicate, he can vanish if he so chooses.
☆ Heron can duplicate himself, even as a duplicate himself. When these duplicates vanish, he gets their memories. When he makes duplicates of other people, he also gets their memories, but only from the time that they're "alive".
☆ Heron's abilities seem to have a strange effect on Lazarus pit water. As he is unable to truly die, and his body treats it as a "virus" that must be "cured" and ends up purifying it, turning it blue. It is unclear what this purified Lazarus water does, other than seeming to not have the negative side effects of memory loss or aggression.
Halfa Abilities
Before Heron split himself from Wren, there were experiments done to Wren with Lazarus water that left him in between life and death, both alive and dead, half a human, half a ghost.
☆ Heron is capable of flight, or just hovering above the ground.
☆ Heron is also capable of phasing through solid objects... though isn't as good at it. He still needs to work on that part.
Miscellaneous Info
☆ Haron is terrified of the dark, to the point where he can't sleep without at least one light on.
☆ Haron is also allergic to Kiwi

Physical Headcanons of Dragon Slayers
Dragon Slayer Magic, and slayer magic in general, changes the User’s physiology in ways other magic types do not– though the element they correspond with does play a major factor in what changes occur, there are some that affect all Dragon Slayers: (Hiro and Tsuki are OC’s who only sort of exist in the same universe, but are both Dragon Slayers)
Indent Text = Mainpoint
Bullet = Subpoint
Number = Subpoint of Subpoint
All Dragon Slayers have enhanced senses, more so than their God and Devil Slayer counterparts– where only one or two of their senses are heightened
Their senses are nearly triple that of a normal humans, and often leads to sensory overloads (Hiro and Erik having stronger hearing than most dragon slayers, Erik due to the nature of his magic- able to hear thoughts and movements of the body- and Hiro due to her magic and a genetic defect- able to hear all the way to Fiore’s farthest border with her mufflers turned up to 10 [10 is the strongest setting on mufflers, allowing the most sound to come through, but still blocking most of it]. Without her mufflers, she can hear all of Ishgar)
Their sense of taste is also increased. To protect their nervous system and body from damage caused by certain flavors, dragon slayers have a thicker, viscous saliva that covers their mouth as a shield, which ends up blocking a lot of flavor
This means they can eat the hottest peppers in Fiore with little fanfare, fire dragons in particular are prone to such snacking habits.
It also means their food will have more spices than most humans can handle because they want to taste it
Their magic forms a thin barrier around their vital organs, though the actual purpose is unknown, it is believed that it’s to guard against internal attacks – poison, illness, etc.
The thickness of the barrier depends on age and element, with Wendy having thicker barriers than someone like Erik (who is immune to toxins), but not as thick as Gajeels.
Natsu and Tsuki’s magic burns through toxins, though Natsu is still vulnerable to a few. Tsuki’s internal temperature, being a White Fire Dragon Slayer, is far too high for normal toxins.
This means that, if Tsuki gets sick, the bacteria has evolved to survive her body temperature long enough to effect her. She will be under quarantine, as some bacteria would die with the body temp lower than they evolved to handle, while others will spread even further.
Dragon Slayers are able to roar, though their age, gender, and element do play a part in what it sounds like:
Tsuki and Natsu’s pitch shifts and changes with their mood, but it’s always extremely loud
Tsuki’s is, by far, the loudest naturally– she’s had plenty practice– and it often causes the ground to shake (There have been a few fallen buildings as a result, she doesn’t roar often)
Tsuki sounds most like a dragon, as she’s the only one who really remembers being taught how to roar like a dragon and not a slayer. Hiro would have been similar if she were old enough to learn it.
Wendy and Hiro are able to twist their vocal cords to create such a high pitch, that it can’t be heard–but still bursts eardrums
Due to their age, they have to force louder volumes, and usually need several minutes to let their voices rest afterwards
Hiro’s is more draconic simply because of the nature of Storm Dragon Slayers.
Laxus’ is loud, and incredibly deep, sounding like ongoing thunder with an echoing higher pitch– and is the second naturally loudest overall
Hiro, due to being a storm dragon slayer, also has a bit of this effect– like rolling thunder and lighting aftershocks. It’s a lot quieter than Laxus’.
Gajeel’s sounds like grating, creaking metal; it’s very deep, and has a medium volume- though it does cause slight vibrations in a thirty meter radius
Sting and Rogue have a medium volume, and no one really knows what their actual roar sounds like
They mimic each other and others, like light reflections and shadows
Erik doesn’t really roar, it’s more of a loud, ominous hissing sound
The sound causes a primal sort of fear in all who hear it, though dragon slayers are more immune than average humans. It does not affect Tsuki, who was raised and trained around many slayers, and Hiro, who lives to spite her body and instincts
Dragon Slayers also purr, much like cats do, though the same factors apply
Tsuki purrs the second most, and does it especially when around those she considers hers
Her’s in specific has a soothing, and calming effect. It tells you everything will be alright, and that she’ll take care of it. It comes with being the oldest and most intune with her instincts
Natus also purrs quite a bit, usually while eating or sleeping
Since he’s still young, it’s more of the effect of a kitten on Tsuki, though non-dragon slayers don’t really notice the difference
Wendy and Hiro purr like it’s second nature, though Wendy only really does so to calm Hiro. Hiro purrs the most out of all of them
They are very noticeably kitten purrs, giving the urge to protect and nurture to the older dragon slayers that hear it
Laxus has deep rumbling purrs, and he doesn’t purr often
So far, Tsuki, Erik, Wendy, Hiro, and his kids are the only ones who have ever heard him purr
Though, it’s more like they feel him purr
Gajeel also has deep purrs, though rather quiet
Again, it’s more of something you feel than hear, his entire body shakes with the force
This is all according to Tsuki and Hiro, though some believe Wendy and Levy have heard them– neither will reveal anything
Sting and Rogue are much like Natsu, though they have more control over it– due to the trauma inflicted by Jiemma
With Tsuki, Laxus, and Erik, they are near constantly purring
They do purr around Hiro as well, its almost infectious
Erik is more similar to a snake than a cat, and his draconic sounds reflect that! So, while he doesn’t exactly purr, he also kind of does.
It sounds more like a quiet, content hissing though, but is described as more of a churr
Purrs are very infectious, if one purrs, they all purr, even if they’re doing so for different reasons
Stick em in a room with Tsuki and/or Hiro purring, and soon they’ll all be doing it without realizing
It’s a form of nonverbal communication for dragons, usually meaning happiness or contentedness
Dragon slayers have sharp claws, though their length depends entirely on the individual slayer
Some keep them filed down as not to accidentally scratch anything, but it does cause a strange, burning-itch in their fingers
The claws grow faster than an average human’s nails
Tsuki doesn’t cut hers beyond a certain point, cutting them down to the same length of the average nail is what causes the itching, almost like declawing a cat, very uncomfortable and not the usual
Natsu and Hiro don’t cut theirs down either, and it’s up to Tsuki to make sure they actually take care of them– though Hiro is generally very good at keeping them short enough to be able to do things, but long enough to defend herself if she can’t access magic
Gajeel also keeps his a certain length, and so does Erik, but Gajeel does it for max Bad Boy Effect and Erik does it because the tips can excrete poison if he wants them too, and if he cuts them too close it gets into his bloodstream and it’s really annoying
Laxus keeps his claws short because long nails make him uncomfortable, and the electricity in his body already causes itchiness. What's a little bit more?
Wendy keeps her short, but not super short, and also files them into more a square shape
Wendy likes to paint all their nails and once she and Hiro use the Puppy Eyes, no one can decline, it’s against the law
All kinds of Slayers have two magical cores, where their magic energy is stored, while other Wizards only have one.
No one knows entirely why, but it is believed that the first Slayers evolved the second core to manage their magic easier, as it is a very volatile magic genre
Dragon Slayers are hypoglycemic, mostly because of the volatile nature of their magic eating up at any sort of energy their body has– including their blood sugars.
Tsuki is the only one who is aware of this, but thinks the others are aware even if they’re not.
They know their body feels weird and they get tired, and that Tsuki makes sure they all eat after every fight and will shove food in their mouth whenever they feel that Weird Discomfort in their bones, but they don’t know why and don’t really care. That’s it.
It’s very annoying to deal with
They suck at taking care of themselves, all in different ways and all for different reasons.
