Eliminate the Nonessentials A “life audit” helps identify what drains time without adding value. For me, this meant stepping away from career advancements and saying “no” to projects misaligned with Emberhart’s vision. Every “no” makes space for the work that truly matters.

Beware of the Endowment Effect We often overvalue what we already have. Ask yourself: “If I did not already have this, how much would I sacrifice to obtain it?” This mindset shift helps focus on what is truly essential, not just what is familiar.

Clarity is not just about knowing what to do—it is about having the courage to let go of distractions. What nonessential thing do you need to eliminate to regain focus?
