...
At this point, Blazko wouldn’t even question this too much. That there God Key-- Or rather, an older model of a portal engine from when an ancient race of spacefarers found and made use of Earth’s resources at least worked. This particular world must be one of those many alternative versions of the same planet, only that there are animals capable of things considered unimaginable by people from his original timeline.
“Whatever ya say. ‘M not supposed ta be here in the first place.” The old man responded, a weapon so out-of-place even for mid-20th century still held by his arms. That damn thing looked heavy.
“William Joseph Blazkowicz, former U.S Military personnel-- Most call me B.J. If ya don’t mind an old man askin’, what’re you called?”

SHUNTARO CHISHIYA
Psychic and Ice type trainer
His starter pokemon is obviously a Froakie, now an over powered Greninja
His team consists of Greninja, Espeon, Vanillux, Frillish (who he sometimes switches out with Solosis), a Galarian Meowth, and a mighty Kadabra.
He completed two of his Pokedexes in his first 3 years of being a trainer.
Treats his pokemon team like a sports team. he’s the coach and he trains his pokemon to be the best.
One day, he last the Pokeball containing Espeon when it was still an Eevee, he retraced his steps so far that he ended up getting lost in a forest. When he found the Pokeball, Team Rocket was already there, trying to take his Eevee. He fought them so hard that even though he got a few injuries, nevertheless he won. Letting his Eevee out, he celebrated internally, and little did he know, the Eevee was two seconds away from evolving.
Even though Greninja was his starter, his little Espeon will always be his favorite.
SUGURU NIRAGI
Fire type trainer (oops)
The team he built contains Torracat, Charizard (evolves into the Y form to be specific), Cinderace, Blaziken, Litleo, and Houndoom
Keeping things simple, he only catches fire type pokemon with a dash of fighting types.
He has huge respect for his pokemon, they're the ones fighting, not him. When they are all out of their Pokeballs, he treats them like his best friends and always takes care of them.
When in battle, he makes sure to always burn his opponent on the first move.
HATES grass-type trainers and grass-type pokemon in general. He thinks of them as useless since they're weak against most types.
His amazing pokemon story as a trainer would be when he first got his Litten in high school. The Litten he received HATED him at first. Every time he would try and train it, it would always end up with him having cat scratches all over him. It was only until his bullies at school approached him with their pokemon and tried t attack him. The Pokeball in his pocket opened by itself revealing the Litten, and Fire Fang’ed those kids back to their mommies.
from then on. he realized the problem was the Pokeball, and that he can't just be too bossy over the Litten, since it had a mind of its own as well. Every night after that, he would sleep next to the Litten like his very own companion throughout his journey.
RYOHEI ARISU
Fighting and Electric type trainer
his team has Gallade, Lucario, Luxio, Pancham, Togedemaru, and Marshadow
As the dedicated trainer he is, he’s completed 4 of his Pokedexes in just a year of training. It was mostly because he loved to collect regular pokemon and always trained them to get their evolutions instead of catching an already evolved pokemon.
Treats his pokemon like his pets, always handing out treats, playing and buying them new toys, and eating with them.
He always battles with a balance of fun and strategy. He loves to knock out the opponent on the first move, and when they switch out their pokemon, he paralyzes them.
Never uses a normal Pokeball due to his laziness, even though he’s broke, he will never buy a Pokeball. Rest assured that he’s stocked up on Great and Luxury balls.
Talking about being stocked up, he has EVERYTHING. when I say everything I mean it. He often goes away from the city for a long time to collect new pokemon. Potions, poke dolls, repellents, you name it he has it.
His Bulbasaur that he received as he started died due to some failure in its organs. That death was something instead of being grieved too much, took it as a lesson in life on how every living thing could die at any moment. He used this lesson to always spend time with the people he loves and makes sure that all his pokemon know how much he loves each and one of them, no matter how many times they fail in battle, his pokemon will always be his best friends no matter what.

Uhhh for the ask game, 4, 13, 26, 40, 45, 48, snd 63??
If this is too many questions, please choose the ones you feel most like answering!
I also wanted to say your work is awesome and thanks for sharing it!! Your characterizations of the twins are awesome and very cool!!!
I'm gonna post this now before I go to sleep and lose my sleep-deprived confidence lol
Aaaaaa! Thank you! I'm glad you like it!
That is a lot of questions, but I will do my best!
4. What is the plot bunny you've been carrying the longest? Optional bonus question: do you ever wonder why you haven't written it yet and experience deep existential dread?
Eh, the plot bunny I've had the longest is some non-fandom stuff, to which I will spare you the details.
My longest held *submas* plot bunny would be a Nimbassa Trio focused story. It would have been a young Elesa POV fic where she is on her pokemon journey, where she occasionally runs into and slowly befriends Ingo and Emmet. The catch is, due to only ever seeing them separately, she thinks they are one very eccentric and forgetful person rather than two identical twins. Hijinks ensue.
I haven't written it because I started writing Two Car Train instead, and it wasn't an idea I was super attached to.
13. Talk about a writing experience that pleasantly surprised you
Not to give the same answer that everyone gives to this question, but the positive response my works have received. A lot of people have been extremely kind and supportive, and I am very grateful.
26. Do you like to write one-shots or series, and why?
I prefer one-shots because I'm more likely to finish those and there is less pressure overall.
45. Name three of your favorite fanfic writers.
This is such a difficult question. There are so many good ones! In fact, I'm so bad at picking favorites I'm about to pick way more than 3. Ngl, this is such a mean question. There are so many writers that I like.
The submas/PLA ones: (in no particular order, and despite being stupidly long I'm still somehow leaving out a lot of really good writers that I really like)
- WaywardStation (if you want Uncle Ingo content, this is where you go. Immaculate Ingo characterisation all around)
- Random_ag (their fics that aren't YOUR GOING BACK HOME FUCKER actually don't do that well statistically. If you have time, you should check some of their other stuff out and drop a comment :))
- Blaiddsumu (they're better known for their art here on Tumblr.hellsite but they do write as well and it's very good. I particularly liked the Undertale crossover)
- DoobleBugs (like above, better known for their art but they have some banger fics too)
- Koidefender: (Nobody reads their Emmet centric stuff. You should read their Emmet centric stuff)
- EVTrainingUniversity (Has recently passed 50 pokemon fics, and I am impressed)
- Bluegamergirl11 (great for hurt/comfort. Will stomp on your heart and then put a bandage on it.)
- StellarCoachman (updates so quickly and I'm very impressed.)
- ImpossibleJedi4 (all around cool dude)
- 4phoenixfeathers (I am particularly fond of their fusion AU)
- Yautjan (In Tandem is so good)
(I'm cutting myself off here or we'll be here all day)
Non-submas writers: (they are all Sanders Sides writers, which was accidental on my part)
- SoDoRoses (lots of queer content. Has gender. Has ace rep)
- AdrianaintheSnow (sometimes I will read the summaries and be all 'I dunno about this one, chief' but then I'll actually read it and it's a banger everytime)
- arealsword (thoughtful, existential, and clever writing. One of my all time favorites. Strange AUs but the bizarrness is a key part of the charm)
48. Do you reread your own stories?
Sometimes. If I'm trying to return to a muilt-chapter, I'll read the previous chapters to jog my memory. Unfortunately, there is a 50/50 chance that I'll find my old work so painfully cringe that I physically can't read it.
63. What's the best insult you've read in a fic?
I know I must have read some absolutely scathing ones, but I'm afraid nothing is coming to mind right now. Sorry!

I saw your Blazblue Pokemon stuff and I was wondering if you were going to do one for Ragna. He'd totally fit a Dark-Type trainer (b/c F-you Ghost types). I imagined Absol and Houndoom as candidates for his team.
As a matter of fact, I do! Ragna is one of the characters that I've already started a sort of concept draft for his team. Here's what I have in mind at the moment.
Tumblr media
Since it's just a concept, I can't guarantee that all of these Pokemon will make the final cut, whenever I get around to posting it properly.
When I make the posts for the blog, I like to go one Pokemon at a time and try to really think about their movesets, to tie them into the character's abilities or playstyle in the BB series. I haven't started analyzing Ragna's kit yet, so it'll likely be a while before I'm able to start sharing my final version of his team.
For now, I just have a few vague story ideas.
Absol would be a Pokemon that Ragna met the day the church was attacked, while he was gone getting water. It later appeared a few times during his youth while he was training. Eventually, once he and his team were strong enough, he caught it. It feels like an old friend to him. I'm considering naming it Aramasa, after his sword.
Crobat would be Ragna's real starter. I like the idea of Ragna having a Pokemon with a friendship-based evolution, because he's such a sweet, sincere guy under the surliness. I think Zubat would be a good gift Pokemon, directly from Rachel, as in BB proper it was through her that he gained the Azure Grimoire. She's always been the one to grant him his first weapon.
Zangoose is the natural enemy of Seviper, a Pokemon I plan to have on Hazama and Terumi's teams. I have a vague idea that he'd choose to catch this Pokemon specifically because he wants a counter to that Seviper. I also think Zangoose suits Ragna's aesthetic.
Midnight Lycanroc is another that I think suits his aesthetic well. It loves to fight, even at the risk of its own health. It gets rebellious if its Trainer isn't making it strong. I think it might be a fun nod to the darker parts of Ragna's relationship with the Azure Grimoire, the Black Beast, and his desire for the power needed to enact his revenge, no matter the cost. Also, Ragna mostly travels at night, making it reasonable for him to evolve a Rockruff into this form.
I hadn't considered Houndoom yet, but I might need to. Since I haven't started thinking too hard about Ragna's team, so I didn't even think about that Dark- and Ghost-Type connection. That's smart and fun, I'll have to keep it in mind!
Also, just in general, it's a lot of fun to play with these ideas, and to hear what other people come up with. I'd definitely encourage others to play around with the concept. Crossovers can be fun, especially when putting an absolutely ridiculous amount of thought into them.

Tell me the lore of your Millie. You’ve intrigued me and also if you have a design to maybe draw that would be cool
you sly dog, you got me monologuing.
i'll draw later-
note; includes hints of a slight crossover w pokemon uranium, yet nothing much besides the news station's report.
WARNING: LONG. I AM ALSO KINDA BAD AT WRITING.
yknow how i mentioned she looked like a victorian era orphan? well, she spent majority of her early life in foster homes. she doesn't remember much, so i can't really say much more on that topic.
she was adopted by the fitsimmons when she was 8, and at first they seemed to be a lovely family; she had a bed to sleep in, food to eat, and a roof over her head, unlike many of her previous homes. when she turned 10, she started to catch on to how... weird they were. for starters, they only ever fed her vegan-friendly diets without proper vitamin supplements, so she was dealing with iron and calcium deficiencies. and occasionally they tried to have 'the talk' with her. when she accepted, it turned out said talk was just telling her she was allergic to almost all meat ( an obvious lie ), so she stopped caring.
She was 12 when the bullying and depression started up. each day when she went to school, she faced what can only be described as torment. usually the abuse from her peers was mental, but sometimes it would be physical; broken bones, scraped knees, and a left forearm so mangled it needed to be amputated were some of the main injuries sustained. Sooner or later she found homestuck, and started reading it. she found a sense of comfort in the story as a whole, yet especially vriska. with this sense of solstice, she slowly recovered, which was greatly helped when she was placed in her grandfather's care due to her parents taking up a career overseas.
Soon, we come to the main story. The day of her supposed demise was an eventful one. nothing interesting happened until around 9PM; her family gathered around the TV, watching as a news reporter talked about a nuclear disaster happening to a nearby region. she took the oppertunity to sneak out to the workshed, thus her fate was sealed. Man, the news didn't lie; radioactive air had already made it's way to their small coastal town, and it was hard to breathe. That didn't matter to Millie, though, considering she had just found her adoption papers. but before she could get them, a metal claw grabbed her waist, and she was pulled into the nightmare we all know. After the fact, after the nightmare, Millie managed to get out of the animatronic's cage despite her injuries, and with her last strength, started reading the papers. Nothing interesting recorded at first, but she felt there was something urgent in there she needed to see before she passed. Soon enough, she found the page. skimming through the words, trying to find those damned words, that damn name. She only managed to read it in her final seconds. Birth name: Millicent Rose Afton.
The final words she read as a living person. The final thought she'd have. These 3 words had been so important to her, she failed to notice the black inchor dripping from her neck before she collapsed, seemingly dead.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Here's where we divert our attention away from her POV for. 'i cant fucking write mhy hands are sore' reasons.
After her disappearance, rumours started to spread of a mysterious figure roaming in the graveyard below jumper's cliff. almost like a spirit cursed to roam the earth forever more... Reports of the figure revealed that it was feminine, and appeared to have died a teenager. while it seemed mainly human, certain limbs, half of it's face, it's ears, and it's apparent fluffy tail, showed a likeness to an old freddy's animatronic. alongside that, it was always seen with a murder of ravens surrounding it, and a black cat by it's side.
this strange cryptid was thus named nevermore, the raven-friend only spoken of in whispers. nobody knows if it's hostile, but not even the cockiest of adventurers dared to find out.
20 questions for fic writers
Tagged by @wingedarrows (But I'm posting it here rather than the tagged blog bc i've posted my writing here before.)
1. How many works do you have on Ao3?
12
2. What’s your total Ao3 word count?
150,398
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Well I started writing and posting pokemon stuff. But I've also written and posted some D&D stuff that I might post more of, if catches my fancy. Currently I'm writing DC stuff though!
Only one of them is posted because I'm trying to finish things more before posting them though. Plan on finishing pokemon stuff too <3
4. What are your top five fics by kudos?
A Language Barrier that Should Not Be (471)
Hot under the Collar (257)
Big Trouble, Little Bats (257)
Everstone Statue (243)
Out of the Corner of His Eye (153)
5. Do you respond to comments?
I try to! But I got overwhelmed about it n felt bad for not updating some fics so I kind of... fell off it. (Oops)
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Well, I think angst is all about perspective. But people have accused me for ripping their hearts out with Everstone Statue
7. What’s the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
Once again, perspective, but probably Being thought dead sucks actually (especially if you have a grave) despite it's angsty start.
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not yet!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Absolutely not.
10. Do you write crossovers? What’s the craziest one you’ve written?
Yes! I love crossovers and like thinking about them with friends. Of my posted works I think there's only Subway Boss: Become Nobody which is a pokemon/D&D crossover sort of AU where ingo ends up in a D&D world rather than Hisui. Though it's only a glimpse of that AU.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not that I know of!
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
No, but it's quite welcome if anyone wants to do that! They just gotta link back to the original as credit/say it's a translation.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Sort of! Under the Stars is an RP with @wingedarrows, and there's a plan to write a fic called Paradoxical together
14. What’s your all time favorite ship?
Friendship
15. What’s a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
Hot Under the Collar unfortunately. It's a fic I wrote on my phone so I have to like... write on my phone to work on it.
Unfortunately, I do not write on my phone.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Highly dependant on the vibes bc holy shit do my skill vary
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
Once again, vibe-dependant. I can write fantastic mind boggling prose one fic and write people nodding at eachother ten times in a conversation the next
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
Very impressive for people that do it right without knowing the language! I am horrible at learning languages so I have to study the grammar and look up individual words for each one I use. Though I have used bits of Japanese in one fic I believe? and Sign Language in another.
I do think they should have translations put somewhere for people who don't know the languages if they're used extensively though. Whether the vibes fit to have them incorporated into the narration, or just at the bottom. It's good to have either way.
19. First fandom you wrote for?
Fics? Pokemon all the way.
20. Favorite fic you’ve written?
I can't pick favourites among them! If I must, though... No, I cannot. They're all wonderful in their own ways and have different things I love. Except for After the War bc that's my shitty poetry I posted for some reason and it's just. Man there's a reason I don't write poetry.
Tagging:
So annoying when Sonic fans say "There is no definitive Sonic because everyone has a different jumping on point", like Sonic 1 had in series competition when it came out.
We've actually had the definitive Sonic from the beginning, liking Unleashed or Prime or whatever more doesn't make them the more authentic to Sonic's core artistic vision than Sonic 1 and the things that iterated directly on it. You make those things without Sonic 1 coming first and you'd NEVER come up with stuff like loops and rolling and the specific crossover between rubber hose animation and shounen battle/adventure anime stylistic sensibilities.
Everything that came after is either a remix of Sonic 1, or it isn't, and the ones that AREN'T are fundamentally less Sonic than the ones that are.
I've talked about this before, but the reason every Mario game or Mario side thing, like the movie, always feels like Mario is because it's all built on the foundation established in Super Mario Bros. Actually, it's why MOST Nintendo properties always feel like they belong to the same series, everything that they are, all the ideas they execute are built on the foundation established in their first game, with all iteration being additive to that foundation. This applies to EVERYTHING, game mechanics, musical composition, sound design, art direction, EVERYTHING. Super Mario Bros.' core gameplay is built around the way he runs and the specific inertial mechanics of that run, and the way he jumps, and the specific mechanics of his jump arcs, the way he interacts with game objects like blocks and shells. Those core run and jump mechanics can be found in every single mainline Mario game, and even a lot of the spinoffs use those 2 run and jump mechanics as a jumping on point for their own.
Take Zelda, which is built on free exploration, sword swinging, and item use to find secrets and open doors. From Zelda 1 to Breath of the Wild (haven't played Tears of the Kingdom yet), this has been at the core of what Zelda IS and so aesthetically it's only tied down in a few ways. Zelda can essentially take place in an entirely new world each and every time because its core elements are so consistent it doesn't even matter when it goes from a classic, grand, epic quest in a medieval fantasy kingdom to the cartoony, cel-shaded ocean world of Wind Waker to the Peter Jacksonian semi-grounded fantasy realism of Twilight Princess. It's always Zelda. And yes, until BoTW (or arguably Link Between Worlds, but that's another topic), that meant that there was a serious problem of stagnation, of repeating the same gameplay loop in every game (a problem Pokemon struggles with even harder, though Legends Arceus is more evidence to my point, since Pokemon is more about catching party members and the fantasy of building a team of favorites in the wild), but they MADE Breath of the Wild and by building it directly on the foundation of Zelda 1, it still felt like Zelda at its core.
I think it's a failing of language to some extent. People hear someone saying "it's LESS SONIC" and think they're saying it's worse, or bad. But Mario RPG is less Mario than Super Mario World, and it's not because it's classified as a spinoff. It's the reverse actually, it's classified as a spinoff BECAUSE it's so different, so much less of what Mario is on a gameplay level that it can't be anything BUT a spinoff. It still manages to feel like Mario in its own ways, the aesthetics, music, and mechanical references, that it doesn't catch any flack for being so fundamentally different (nor should it), but that's the thing, it's still not the definitive take on Mario, because one has already been established.
Sonic's problem is that it takes things that should've made spinoffs and keeps them in the same category of things as the main series, so now Sonic isn't about rolling and abusing the physics of inertia to platform, but now it's about boosting reaction challenges. It's not a series of semi-connected stories with an impatient delinquent with a heart of gold as its lead, but disconnected episodic stories with a self aware cartoon character as the lead. Even Frontiers, which is the first 3D game in the series I've loved since Heroes (because Mania exists) inherits some of these problems. As good as Sonic feels to control now, he's still not based on building inertia using running and rolling on slopes, which, good or not, is LESS Sonic. He still has the problem of missing his impatient, abrasive anime delinquency and disrespect for authority. The core art direction is still very disconnected from his origins, which feels less like the sort of intentional disconnect of Mario's aesthetics in New Donk City, and more like a consequence of carelessness about it. Frontiers didn't make the islands and cyberspace look like that to fulfill a creative vision that was consistent with Sonic, they did it because that sort of realism is cheaper and easier for modern 3D artists to make, because the industry prioritized it in developing the techniques and workflows for that sort of realism.
And yes. All this means that a lot of the Sonic stuff the fanbase has become invested in, Prime, the movies, even a lot of the games, from Unleashed to Frontiers I'd argue, and Heroes to 06 to a lesser extent, is LESS Sonic than the stuff that came before. It has less to do with the ideas that defined Sonic to begin with, and doesn't justify those deviations by making them explicitly not jumping off points for the main series. People jumping into the games expecting movie Sonic or Prime Sonic are not getting what they came for, because those things are so disconnected from Sonic's core ideas, and the people going from one era of the games to the next are disappointed for the EXACT SAME REASON.
And all this is coming from someone with more hope for Sonic than I've had since the leadup to Sonic 06, before THAT hammer came down and crushed everything in its wake. Sonic is course correcting, and it's closer than it's been in decades to that original vision. But it's not there
for the game ask - 8, 9, 15, 16, 17, 19
AU where I don't forget I saw this late last night and actually do it when I get home from work. Anyways:
8: Best soundtrack?
If you expected me to say Kingdom Hearts, for once, you're incorrect. Shimomura is a goddess but not a day goes by that some Persona song doesn't live rent free in my brain.
9: A game you turn your volume off every time you play it?
Special shout out to Undertale genocide because whenever I hear the "And nobody came" song I get hit with heavy anxiety but no. There's this one Sonic RPG I played when I was a kid and it has the worst soundtrack possible. I mean the game itself isn't great but it is very nostalgic so I love playing it but listening to its soundtrack at all? Absolutely not. No.
15: Which two games do you think would make an awesome crossover?
I am restricting myself from using KH x SPM (because I explored it) and Persona x FE (because a game already exists with that concept) but honestly I think Pokemon and Animal Crossing would be a real cute combination that should exist.
16: Character you’ve hated most? From what game?
(I am actively ignoring characters who are made to be as unlikable as possible. So characters like the palace holders from P5, for example, are not on this list.)
When actively playing the game? The amount of pure animosity I felt towards Kubo when playing Neo TWEWY is absolutely well warranted and I definitely do not like Lorenz and think hating on him is hilarious.
I really do have to, however, give a special shout out to those characters who the fanbase has absolutely ruined for me beyond repair either because they were everywhere when I just didn't really care about them before that and I got/am so tired of seeing their faces (you can probably guess) or because I got so tired of the woobification towards these characters that I am literally sick of seeing their faces and my once fondness towards them has been permanently tainted and destroyed (You can probably guess) because they absolutely deserve this shout out space more than anybody else. I just will not name any characters in this category because I don't want to die.
17: What game do you never tell people you play?
I mean do you think I have shame? It's more I just don't talk about the game than anything else really. Like I still go back to Rugrats Royal Ransom and Disney Party for example. I'm not really embarrassed by it I just never think to mention it. I guess I was pretty ashamed of DMMD for a while but too many people knew about that one for me to be hiding it.
19: Which game do you think deserves a revival?
In the interest of fairness I will not be talking about PMD or Paper Mario, both of which are still alive series, even if the things I actually love about them are no longer around.
So anyways I can't default to TWEWY since we had a sequel this year so like can we just talk about how much I love Coliseum and XD and would love it if Nintendo released more Pokemon games where I get to catch corrupted shadow Pokemon to rescue because those games were great and I love them.
Also never play XD in a way where you only purify all your Pokemon sans Shadow Lugia by hand there are way to many Shadow Pokemon for that it's a rewarding decision but such a tedious one.
*kicks down door* Why can't Krit be caught in a pokeball and why is he permanently mega-evolved? (I'm not the pokemon fbi I swear)
Tumblr media
O-KAY! So, get ready for some explaining.
Number ONE, The reason why krit cannot be captured in a pokeball.
He's technically not a wild pokemon. He used to have a trainer, someone who was a caretaker figure for him. Krit let them catch him so they could stay together easily.
His trainer had died, but the pokeball, on that day, was left safe and sound, not broken. A headcanon of mine is, if the trainer is gone, and the pokeball is broken completely (which i have seen happen), the pokemon is set free, becoming a wild pokemon again. Though, this is a mean alternative if you're the trainer. Its even ruder if you'd do it to a pokemon with a trainer gone. But, it gets the job done in wanting that pokemon.
2. "Why is Krit Permanently Mega-Evolved?"
Now THIS one is where some non canon pokemon universe stuff comes in. This IS overrift, after all. A *rift* between universes. A literal crossover universe for universes to collide and live with one-another.
Back on track.
Krit was...not left very well mentally after their trainer was..well, killed infront of them. In a. Brutal way which I will NOT state here in public.
With that, he desperately wanted his caretaker figure back, especially since he'd lost his previous parents before and didnt know where his siblings went.
Until, a bit after the death, one voice spoke to him.
It told him, if he had collected enough souls of people who had fallen over the cliff into the trees and flowers, he could bring his trainer back.
Tumblr media
With this..well, I forgot to mention..
He has a brother, Pikachu! Well, Pichu, at the time. His real name is Danny, which I had recently revealed. He's adopted, of course.
ANYWAYS- Krit went on this..killing spree for a while. After every death of someone, he became more unstable, to the point of sometimes not even being able to respond to his own brother. Danny was afraid that he'd completely lost Krit at this point, and was afraid to even interact with him.
One day, A little cloaked girl fell down. Danny, however, was there first, in a desperate attempt to save whoever had fallen down.
He snuck them into their home, not letting Krit see who they were.
(BY the way, they were a Lucario at the time, not a riolu!! Krit, was the lucario. not the girl)
Eventually, the girl wandered off outside the house, only to be met with krit, who wanted to quickly get rid of them. "Maybe its the last one..." he hoped, but before he could finish an attack, Danny had shielded himself infront of the girl, resulting in an evolution, evolving into a Pikachu. He begged for him not to kill them. He told them, teary-eyed, that "this WOULDNT be the one, NO one would be the one to bring her back..! Krit, PLEASE, listen to me..!"
He
He stopped. He hadn't heard Danny's voice in ages this clearly.
He realized what he'd done these past years.
Before he could utter a word, Another figure appeared in a cloak, blasting krit away, as they grabbed the girl, seeming to be their father.
"When will we see Danny again?"
'I dont know Sage.'
The little girl and father figure had disappeared.
..Meanwhile..
After that whole ordeal had happened, Krit was walking along a trail, looking for a way to say sorry in a truthful way.
..He had found this sparkly heart stone, in a specific..Pink, and dusty purple.
"I..I could gift this to him, and..apologize. That'd be nice, right..?"
As he picked the stone up, he glowed as..
..He evolved into a Mega Lucario.
A bit freaked out, he sprinted to a cave, planning to wait it out. He knew Mega Lucario form's were only temporary.
He waited.
Minutes turned into days.
Days turned into weeks.
Those weeks..turned into a month.
Nothing changed. Though, the intense aura around him did fade, and he still had control over his actions and emotions. He decided that..that wouldnt go away. The stone had disappeared. The stone was a trap, set by the same person who blasted him away, to put him in "eternal suffering".
..He needed to learn how to control his strength..and he did. He went back to Danny, explaining what happened. Danny....wasn't really suprised, and was just glad that he came back safely.
This mega form will never go away, its well, a permanent, rare curse. But Krit doesnt really care for that part anymore, because sometimes, when he thinks about it, he calls himself "a bit unlucky, but special".
His star necklace, a gift from his past trainer, has been preventing his Mega form from bursting with power, and its letting him control most of his emotions and powers, too.
...Though, all of this power is being built up. Theres no telling on what would happen if the necklace were to stay off for too long.
Ohhh, thanks for the tag, @mira--mira! That sounds like a lot of fun.
1. How many fics on AO3?
too many 215
2. Total AO3 wordcount?
1.504.032 (that’s roughly the word count for the Stormlight series minus Rhythm of War .... Brandon, you’re insane. Yes, I always compare my word counts to those of Brandon.)
Wanderer in the Mist of Time (185) (Tolkien, Gen)
Krigsgaldr (124) (Naruto, HashiMada, TobiIzu)
The secret of the Hokage (78) (lol wat, that’s a silly oneshot, I didn’t put much effort in it :D)
Childhood memories (74) (Tolkien, Gen)
5. Do you respond to comments, why/why not?
I try to respond to every comment, even the short ones and even if it’s only a variant of “thank you for reading and leaving a comment”, because it’s super cool, if people not only stop by but also invest even that little more time!
6. What's the fic you've written with the angstiest ending?
I have quite a few oneshots about all the tragedies in Middle Earth so probably one of those I guess. I mean ... the First Age is very dark. Looking at the texts I’ve already translated, that would maybe be Broken Souls (about Elwings foreboding sense of dread and her utterly broken family) and Until our last breath (about Elros’ death).
7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you've written?
Yes, I sometimes do and the only serious one is the third Earenis part (how ironically, it’s a Tolkien/Witcher crossover in which Ciri hops around and drags Eredin into Middle Earth and everyone is confused about Caranthir “What? The son of Feanor?” “Nooo, Eredin’s navigator!”). Okay, and Among the Sleep, which is a retelling of the game with the same name, but with baby Feanor. The craziest one? Dunno, maybe Gotta catch ‘em all, which is just an elaborated shitpost about Hashirama catching all the Bijuu with Pokéballs, because that’s how it sounds to me anyway :D The one I had the most fun writing was definitielly With the Mind of a Dark Lord in which Tobirama and Madara land in the place of Mairon and Melkor and have to work on how to get back because they really don’t want to deal with angry Noldor banging at the gates of Angband and all that other shit going on in the beginning of the First Age (although Madara had a bit of fun imposing Melkor xP). I really enjoyed writing the different styles, because, you know, Maedhros speaks entirely different than Tobirama and I liked to contrast that. Plus language. I absolutely love to run wild with languages! While writing that text I was wondering about how much deep lore shit I should put in it, because POV character is after all Tobirama and some people reading that text aren’t into the Legendarium at all. But then I decided to just throw everything in it and that’s why we have the Shibboleth in it and Tobirama gets called Þauron by Maedhros.
8. Have you received hate on a fic?
Yes. I post my texts online since 2009. It’s bound to happen from time to time. (You can't even block the annoying kids on FFde, one of the many reasons I left the side.)
9. Do you write smut?
I try at least as painfull as it is, ahahah :D Dunno if my smut stuff is good xP You have to tell me!
10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Not as far as I know. Let’s hope it stays this way.
11. Ever had a fic translated?
Well, I translate them myself, so ... :D Yes.
12. Ever co-written a fic before?
Indeed, yes. I had some fun projects back on Fanfiktion.de. For example an ex-friend and me grabbed a bunch of characters and started to write letters with that characters. Maedhros writing to Maglor and Maglor writing back with each of us picking one character. I don't know actually if I still have those texts, because, well ... I didn’t part on good terms with that person and left FFde anyway. But the idea itself was funny.
Oh! FFde has a forum and in my time there were some cool writing projects to be found there. One went this way: Person A starts a story and write the beginning of it, around 1000 words. Person B continues that with another 1000 words. Then comes person C and continues another 1000 word, but C only gets to read what B wrote. And so on. Sometimes really cool stories developed this way and sometimes it was uttlery hilarious bullshit, it was great!
13. All time favorite ship?
I CAN’T DECIDE! AHH! Okay, I just list my fave ships, that is
Elrond/Celebrían (token hets, lol)
Angbang
HashiMadaMito
TobiIzu
14. What's a WIP you want to finish, but don't think you ever will?
That’s a lie! I’ll finish everything! Okay, let’s be honest. Probably Tide’s change, the complete rework of my very first longfic. Somehow I completely lost interesst and I don’t know if I ever find it again.
15. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue and emotional trauma. Finally my own traumas are good for something and it’s not for naught that I go suicidal from time to time! Woohoo! Okay .... maybe my sense of humor coping with my illness is not a very appropiate way ... Ahem. Anyway, I think I’m pretty good at writing emotions.
16. What are your writing weaknesses?
While I think I’m pretty good with single scenes up to OneShots (or that what’s becoming of my “OneShots” lately) I’m not sure if I manage to assemble all that into coherent long stories. It’s something entirely different to write a novel length fanfic like Roots and have such a big story arc over many, many chapters.
Also fights. I hate writing fights.
17. What are your thoughts of writing dialogue in other languages?
Hell, yes! I love to play with languages and Tolkien is a feast for that. Many characters grow up with different languages and therefore address other people differently. Usualy I have a spoken language as a main language, let’s say Sindarin. Then the whole text is written in German/English even when the characters speak Sindarin with each other. But sometimes they meat someone who speaks Quenya and they switch the language and then I have a lot of fun consulting my dictionary and trying to translate the dialogue into shitty Quenya. That’s called code switching in lingusitics and is fairly common. You speak differently with your friends than you speak with your boss. Usualy you don’t switch entire languages but sociolects, but anyway. I love to give my texts more depth with that phenomenon.
18. First fandom you wrote for?
Tolkien. Who would’ve guessed?!
19. Favorite fic you've ever written?
The right hand of death, my Elder Scrolls: Oblivion fanfic about Lucien Lachance. I am SO PROUD of that monster! it’s my biggest work ever (so far) and I’ve put so much effort in it. It totally flopped but I don’t care. It's still my best work. (Although I’m very invested into my Butterfly Verse atm as well.)
If you like I tag @do-androids-dream-ao3acc @yellow-feathered-faerie and @fingons-rad-harp and everyone who wants too!
So...
I've seen this around a lot and I wanna make my input with a "Understand my ship in 5 minutes" made for Marinette and Haruto(my OC) from a MLB × Pokemon crossover fanfic I am working on:
Tumblr media
Also, because I had little space to insert my comments in this,here they are:
Big Spoon/Little Spoon: While normally Haruto is the Big Spoon and Marinette is the Little Spoon,they do change roles when something happens that makes Haruto sad
Lends Clothes/Borrows Clothes: Marinette borrows t-shirts from Haruto all the time if they share a room at a Pokemon Center, and Haruto is never mad. If anything, since Marinette is a designer, Haruto feels flattered that she chose his clothes to wear.
Doesn't Use Pet Names/Uses Pet Names: Haruto just loves to tease Marinette by calling her "Little Princess" or by her nickname "Mari". Marinette calls Haruto "Little Knight" (when she is teasing) but, most of the time she just calls him "Haru".
Introverted/Extroverted: Although when she meets new people Marinette is shy and not really talkative, once she gets to know them better is very much outgoing. On the other hand, while he can keep a conversation with someone, Haruto would rather be silent unless it is necessary or he is talking with someone he really trusts.
Affection through words/Affection through Actions: Haruto is the action type of guy. He is not really good with words, so he uses actions to express how much he cares about somebody. Marinette is kind of in-between the extremities, leaning just a tiny bit into the words section.
Confesses First/Waits for Confession: Haruto is the one that confesses first, but Marinette is kinda dense when it comes to feelings of love (she is 13, give her a break) and doesn't realize this. Later when she realizes her feeling, she confesses (but only after a few weeks of turning into a cherry from embarrassment). Later in life, they remeber their confessions: Haruto, feeling smug about confessing first, while Marinette is embarrassed she took so long to notice.
Screams about Bugs/Squashes bug with a shoe: They (for the most part) have no problem with bugs. Both would just catch them and throw them outside, making sure they are not hurt.
Drives the car/Can't drive lol: Haruto would be able to drive a car. The only problem is that he dosen't have one. Marinette, on the other hand, is capable of driving but her anxiety (because she think she is going to crash the car) might just make it impossible for her to concentrate.
Can't cook for shit/Makes dinner: Marinette is the daughter of bakers. She will cook you a 5-star meal, with some of the best desserts you've ever had. Haruto tried to make Marinette some tea one day and managed to set the water on fire... somehow. Thus, he is banned from the kitchen.
Dislikes PDA/Loves PDA: They both love PDA.
Overprotective/ Chill going: Between the two, Haruto is the most protective. However, that dosen't mean Marinette isn't gonna punch you in the face if you are mean to Haruto. Likewise, Haruto is gonna kick your ass if you say anything mean to Marinette or if you make a move on her while he is there (tho this only started after they became a couple).
Has more relationship experience/ Has NO relationship experience: They are each other's first. They've been friends since 10 and now they are 13 and 14 respectively, and their relationship (for the most part) was unplanned but you got to get close to someone with whom you saved the world from evil teams multiple times,right?
