#I MAY HAVE GOTTEN A LITTLE SILLY WITH DISCORDS DESIGN #like his original design makes sense because its described as mostly pony with a bunch of other things thrown in. cause yknow chaos #and I dont have a problem with it but I wanted to try something else #mostly riffing off of daycare attendent and the collector. but I like the idea of his colors mismatching when using magic #like the dark blue spots become orange and vice versa. it looked really cool in my head #fluttershys bat design partly inspired by the Honduran white bat and ghost bats #I like the idea that they turn her back but she still has bat wings hidden under her feathers. makes her a quiet flyer shrugs #and I have never ever seen a single drawing of flutterbat with a bat nose and its a crime #also they r very cute to me. also it was very nice of the orthodontic surgeons(I'm not sure if it's correct to call them dentists) that they never commented on my yellowed and crooked teeth. however they did put my x ray on the monitor directly in front of me to just look at for the entire time i was there and i do wonder if it was to shame me (/jokey)

anyway hopefully soon i will get my bottom two wisdom teeth taken out

#it is just the One that is currently an issue(cavity) but thwy recommended taking out All my wisdom teeth like the ones up top too #i Dont think the top ones are a problem bc theyre completely exposed and havent caused me any issues #the bottom two though are only partially exposed like theyrr mostly covered by my gums #and one formed a cavity so. id like that to not happen to the other #but they told me my teeth are otherwise healthy so that was nice #you can probavly see the cavity its that dark Spot on the last bottom right tooth of the image #is this tmi. idk i worry people think im always lying #tooth trauma #words from the monarch

Look, I just think it's VERY funny and on brand that I thought of an entire premise of colorful characters for half the cast and immediately drew the only one void of color.

#my characters #i will not bore you all too much in the main post but now its story time in the tags so yeefuckinghaw #noll is a fae and is distinctly the only one that just lacks colors #at first he was like well surely i can wear colorful stuff to make up for my dark hair and eyes !#and then he overhears some of the fae talking about how hes a blemish to the fae and hes like well fuck #guess its time to go all in baby! and decks himself out in all black and jagged clothing #and he tries to play it off as hes an idiot and a lot of the fae actually believe its not ALL an act #like they can tell he thinks about stuff but he normally does it staring into space so they dont care to ask #cause surely it isnt important enough to brood about hes just thinking about stuff #and he really REALLY has a lot of confidence issues and worries that more fae are disturbed by his darkness than let on #but then the other fae that like to hang out with him are like #YOOOOOO THATS OUR LIL VOID! THATS OUR LIL GUY! our lil black spot look at him hes so edgy and cute!#and treat him like a pet cat at times giving him head pats even if he bats their hands away #and the plot premise is that some of the fae are bored and decide they should go play with some humans! give THEM enrichment too!#and noll gets roped into it and The Game is basically go find a human partner and convince them to be an ally #then the fae give the humans cool lil toys (weapons) and are like GO FORTH MY CHAMPION!#so noll keeps like ... not picking anyone to participate because its not just A Game to him #if he can prove victorious in A Game with outside factors such as humans then he can prove hes not #an absolute disappointment to the fae like he has a lot riding on this in his mind #and his friends are just like buddy you cant even play if you dont pick a human you gotta #anyway here is noll and then i have ideas for two other fae and also a veeeery vague idea for two of the humans though not as sure yet #rae if you read all this you should know the cobalt is a fae thanks bye #i am so stressed posting ocs every single time and i am incredibly depressed and anxious #so good lord please let me not just delete all the tags in an hour bc im ashamed

I hope The Spot gets to die as a himself like pre-powers. It’s likely he’s gonna destroy himself trying to destroy Spider-man (I think he’s gonna for the mythos of the hero not just Miles, if the flash forward is any prediction) cause he’s either not gonna be able to handle the full effects of his abilities it and needs to be saved but it’s too late for him or does some not fully redeeming sacrifice as he realizes he didn’t have to resort to villainy and doesn’t want to go out with people fearing him rather than respecting.

It’d make the point that anyone can be Spider-man under the mask string as it’d point out that depending on circumstances anyone could become anything. In this case none of them would know The Spot personally or even in passing as Johnathan Ohnn, so seeing a complete stranger, someone who could of been anyone, defeated at the end of the battle would invoke a lot with the random chance and fate that comes along with being Spider-man if not just going through life rather than the adherence to canon events that is trying to be pushed on characters.

I feel like giving the Spot his face back would just make the climax feel more complete, an odd commentary on being true to oneself even if it is past your time.

guys I just survived a ladder that wanted to kill me. cheers

#context- I work odd jobs in film production a lot. I recently picked up a new part timer filming high school football games #this particular one was an hour and a half away so needless to say I was already mentally preparing for a LOT #and I got there and the spot where they wanted me was on the ROOF of the press box. which I knew beforehand #what I did NOT know beforehand was that the only way up or down was a ladder that pops down from said roof #which would’ve been okay but I was carrying three equipment bags like a pack mule #so I climb the ladder and even that was fine until the top step #I faceplant straight onto the roof because there is a barrier that’s like a foot long between the ladder step and the roof floor #so. rough start. but the view is great and once I’m up there it’s kinda fun #until. UNTIL. I wanted to go pee because again. hour and a half drive to get there.#said barrier made it so you have to climb down to get to the ladder step and railing and I pissed around playing chicken with that thing for #for an HOUR playing chicken because I could not fucking handle it #so I get through the first half okay but decide that I’m booking it to the bathroom the second halftime starts #and I forced my fat arse over the ledge and I figured out a grip on the trapdoor thing that helped keep me from falling #and I felt like I’d just made a person break cause like. I genuinely was not sure how the fuck I’d make it down for a bit #after that? might’ve been the high of Doing The Scary Thing but the rest of the time I had fun #I got a nice coach in the press box to help grab my bags as I handed them to him so I could climb down to leave #drove an hour in pitch darkness on country roads to my boss’s house to drop off the footage then 20 minutes home and now #and now I think I could sleep forever and ever but I fuckin did the thing

Does anyone else really enjoy that time in season 5 of Merlin when Morgana put a spell on Gwen so that Gwen would try to kill Arthur? Like, yes, I know Arthur's and danger or whatever. But it was so good to see Morgana and Gwen be friends again! I missed their friendship so much.

I've been practicing the dark magic of computer graphics today! Unfortunately for my hubris I've been struck with the curse of the shadow crystal

#asks #that black spot is NOT supposed to be there #it appeared when i put in the code that makes the light do the bright spots and dark spots you see there #it's not technically shadows it's just bright where the surface is facing the light and dark where it's facing away from the light #but no matter what i tested it never turned pure black #EXCEPT with the Shadow Crystal #i don't know what causes it #i don't know how to fix it #it simply Appears #i figure it's caused by the distance from the center of the ripple being close to zero so points near the center get messed up #but when i set the values to zero it didn't do this #i don't know what's happening #or why it's shaped like a crystal #probably some weird floating point error #i'm just going to ignore it and hope i don't lose points for submitting a cursed code file
