Solutions to Fix Cellular Data Not Working on Your iPhone

Having issues with cellular data on your iPhone can be incredibly frustrating, especially when you're on the go and relying on a stable internet connection. Fortunately, there are several methods to troubleshoot and fix this problem. Here's a comprehensive guide to help you restore your iPhone's cellular connectivity.
Check If Cellular Data is Enabled
The first step is to ensure that cellular data is turned on. You can do this by swiping down from the top right corner of your screen to access the Control Center. The antenna icon should be green, indicating that cellular data is active. Alternatively, go to Settings > Cellular and toggle the Cellular Data switch. If it's already on, try turning it off and back on to refresh the connection.
Disable Airplane Mode
Ensure that Airplane Mode is not accidentally enabled, as it disables all wireless communications. You can check this in the Control Center; if the Airplane Mode icon is highlighted in orange, tap it to turn it off.
Restart Your iPhone
Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Hold the power and volume buttons to restart your iPhone until the power off slider appears. Slide to power off, wait a few seconds, and then hold the power button to turn your iPhone back on.
Remove and Reinsert the SIM Card
If you use a physical SIM card, removing and reinserting it can sometimes fix connectivity problems. Power off your device, remove the SIM card using a SIM ejector tool or a paperclip, then reinsert the card and power your iPhone back on.
Enable Data Roaming
Enabling data roaming can sometimes help even if you are not traveling. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options and toggle Data Roaming on. Restart your iPhone afterward to see if the issue is resolved.
Check for Carrier Settings Update
Carrier settings updates can improve network connectivity. To check for updates, go to Settings > General > About. You'll see a prompt to update your carrier settings if an update is available. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the update.
Reset Network Settings
You might need to reset your network settings if the above steps don't work. This will erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and passwords, so ensure you have this information handy. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings and follow the prompts.
Perform a Factory Reset
As a last resort, you can perform a factory reset, which will erase all data and settings on your iPhone. Before doing this, you can back up your data to iCloud or another backup service. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings to perform a factory reset.
Final Thoughts
Restoring cellular connectivity on your iPhone can be achieved with one of the steps outlined above. These solutions cover the most common issues, from checking your settings to resetting network configurations. well it seems youtube on firefox is no longer letting me play videos in anything higher than 720p, and some its only allowing me to view in 360p. and while duckduckgo's duck player works fine, if i stream it over discord, no audio can be heard on the stream (╬▔皿▔)╯
guess im stuck having other people be forced to stream the videos for me i guess until some tech genius starts having this problem as well and creates a workaround.
fuck youtube, fuck google, fuck every big tech company (and every non-tech company while we're at it), fuck every greedy capitalistic pig who is purposefully making my life more irritating and inconvenient for me just because they can. now where's that damn guillotine

I'm going to follow up on the fantasy-horror thoughts to be expanded Transformers, so-
Medical/Biological Horror
I haven't really seen takes about established Cybertronian medical biology and the complications with the "humans into Cybertronians" trope.
Like we see the heavy emphasis on T-cogs across the iterations and how it's deeply connected to independence, identity, and person-hood, so how about an ex-human that lacks a T-cog?
Ironically, T-cogs have a lot of emphasis on that particular organ is similar to human hearts in terms of emotional, cultural, spiritual, and physical capabilities and significance. Similar to how humans are capable of donating hearts to others, Cybertronians can perform an equivalent procedure with T-cogs. (On a related side note, the phenomenon of 'cellular memory' has to be extremely appalling to the mechanical species. Not in the sense of upcycling parts, but in the sense that the organs, frame, and equipment still retain the echos of the last person to the point that it influences the new body.)
Imagine that once human inside a medbay as the medics tutted and sadly inscribe their new medical file about their new monoformer status. What a shame, they said. They could have been an excellent addition to (insert whatever frame kibble visible that correlates to a function), they said. Poor thing! With that kind of extrasensory equipment, they'll be a walking target, they said.
So that monoformer with no kibble or those visible beastformer traits without the means to completely escape... What. A. Shame.
Until a random Cybertronian sees that monoformer casually wheeling around with heelies. It's easy to wave away as a reinvention of training wheels, but then they notice those heelies disappear back into the monoformer's frame. The ex-human still has no T-cog. Sweat breaks out because said ex-human had done the fucking impossible.
They're paying closer attention now. They're seeing little micro-transformations happening. The subtle signs of a frame shifting to accommodate an area or space, the way fingertips would sharpen too easily with a file or with a raw cut as a tip is used to scrape away at something, the seams expanding and contracting, so something is happening, they just can't tell...
While this can overlap with the body/psychological horror aspect, I say we should take it more extreme. There had been takes with dysphoria, particularly with the play between mechanical parts and human organs, the differences in senses, and if 'sticky sexual interfacing' is part of it, then sexual hardware of both sets.
However, what about acceptance? The exploration of feeling truly at home in your own new skin? Even if it's high-tech and something out of a sci-fi film/video game with a platform that's incomprehensible because you don't understand the language it uses, but guess what? You can download a packet to fully comprehend a new language. You may not be fluent or comfortably at ease with speaking, but you can read and understand what's being said. A possibility of delving into human disabilities that translate into something easily curable or nonexistent or have well-established accommodations in a Cybertronian framework. Something like hormonal disorders or gastrointestinal issues due to upset gut biome would be wiped clean. Poor/limited eyesight can be compensated with a visor that can't be easily removed or taken away or the additional sensors that provide environmental data. Cybertron has a form of sign language with chirolinguistics where communication is done "by stimulating the nervecircuits in the fingers, wrist and palm of their conversational partner. It seems to be fairly common to know at least a little hand." TFWiki page And it pairs well with internal comms that double as cell phones or an unique user on platform where a Cybertronian can live chat or text another.
A massive tradeoff for this kind of comfort? You now have a visible soul.
Think about it, your soul can be directly handled, as in someone can physically go mess with your most distilled sense of self.
Humanity had long debated the existence of it via philosophy, spiritually, scientifically as well. The heart is the most recent popular choice, but major historical contenders had been the stomach and the mind as well as arguments of the soul isn't found in one specific organ but rather the bridge between them.
People swear by souls and the afterlife. There are many myths and legends that involve souls. Even the most doubtful had been deeply raised in a cultural framework of the concept via media usage, figurative speech, religious imagery, and depictions in art.
That has to be the most mind-blowing and deeply unsettling reality a former human must accept.
I see the comparisons of sparkeaters to vampires as they both prey on the living, but the more apt description should be the product of Harry Potter with Dementors as those Dark creatures eat souls.
So this touches on another genre-
Supernatural Horror
Human adaptability combined with the Earth transformation myths/magic would deeply terrify modern Cybertronians as those new cybered beings don't fit the established medical reality they function with.
This can easily tie very well with expanding Cybertronian folklore of otherworldly beings of their version of fae, demons, spirits, or yōkai. Beautiful, terrible beings that mimick Cybertronians too well... unless to look closer: the shadow missing or not matching (can be tied to Unicron), conflicting kibble, EM fields too wild with a chaotic rhythm no one else can match, colors that change to suddenly, a strange wardrobe (made of dead creatures) that ripples and warps without a breeze, an mechanimal with too much intelligence glittering in its optics...
I'm not even fully delving into the rampant chaos of ex-humans having a host of adaptations suited for tolerating far more ranges of environmental stress and disease-resistance due to the rapid evolution by organic life compared to Cybertronian fauna. Remember, humans are animals. Highly intelligent apex predators that specialize in endurance/persistent pursuit with strong social and communal behaviors, and the cleverness to suit the environment from aquatic to deserts to wetlands to forests to grasslands to tundra. Humanity found ways to not just survive but to thrive in those biomes.
This opens a potential storyline where cybered humans become Cybertron's extremophiles, so that can easily translate into those beings capable of manipulating their own selves to a multitude of frames and shapes.
The example above with the human to monoformer was a show in how transformation mechanisms could be different between the species. If T-cogs are an inherently modern Cybertronian biological trait, then cybered!Earth natives should be either throwbacks or have another approach to it.
And that's the more muted fuckery, but what about straight-up transformations that were deemed unthinkable? Where unnatural formations keep twisting upon themselves, collapsing just to rise higher and higher? The sudden appearance of not one or two extra limbs, but dozens, even hundreds without a sequence as they try to compute how the hell they pull all that mass from nowhere? Armor plating, sure and steady, then turning into a substance that swallows everything and anything as a solid becomes a liquid.
The repression technology may or may not even work as it targets the frame's T-cog. What can it do to a mecha that doesn't have one?
Another aspect overlooked is the animal-human relationship in domestication of wild animals or how communities form symbiotic relationships with different kinds of wild fauna. Combined humanity's collective love for highly dangerous creatures... Wouldn't it be absolutely sick as hell if cyber!human got a sparkeater as their companion? It's still a wild 'animal,' not a fully tame one like a domesticated animal, so they're trying to tedtalk on a human's approach to curating a stable relationship with a predatory species while the rest of the Cybertronians are basically dead-white from sheer fright.
Or on the opposite yet equally delightful spectrum of said exhuman caring for orphaned creatures that reminds them of human pets (like a bunny or a mouse), but those 'cute babies' usually cause massive structural damage to city-states and a known mech-killer. Something like a Scraplet (because, let's be real, deep in your heart, you know a person that would try to keep it as a pet and succeed at it), so their tedtalk about behavioral training, 'reasonable precautions,' and emotional/physical fulfillment is filled with scientists who's curiosity (slightly to completely) overtakes any sense of self-preservation.
#transformers#analysis#my thoughts#cybertronian culture#cybertronian biology#humans being humans#cultural misunderstandings#culture clash#cultural differences#maccadam#look if earth is uncrion then it's space Australia#it's equally reasonable to assume cyber!humans are very much Cybertronian fae/orcs/touches on folklore on otherworldly beings#magic#creature#horror#fantasy#im playing with 'Things that should frighten Cybertronians if found in their own faces'#there were dragons that were worshipped and dragons that we hunted and humans that fucked dragons#all im saying if humans found their way to prehistoric Cybertron then they would definitely be found in the Wilds#weirdly enough possible enough to fulfill certain niches to ensure Cybertron didnt go as nuclear as it had. food for thought 🤔

I know the smut fanfiction blog is probably not the best place for awareness posting, but this is my only real outlet and I'd like to share what's happening regarding the storm.
My area was affected by Helene — I woke up a little over a week ago at 4 am from the storm, to no power and standing water within my apartment.
The area where I live now was not hit too badly, so everything is back to normal for me now, and obviously I have power and internet again.
But the same is not true for many people near where I'm originally from. This storm has completely devastated Appalachia.
A village that was like a second home to me is gone. Every single building in the village is either underwater or decimated, and some of its residents are missing.
People in the surrounding area are desperately trying to reach family and friends — whole areas have essentially gone radio silence with no cellular data, even now almost two weeks after.
Many Appalachians have lost literally everything, including family, pets, and homes. The region is heavily reliant on orchards, livestock and tourism, so many livelihoods have been swept away. This area also already had a major poverty issue to begin with, so many had very little, and now literally have nothing but the clothes on their back.
Moreover, the handling of this situation by federal administration has been disgraceful and negligent, if not outright malicious.
Any acknowledgement at all was absurdly delayed, and the financial aid being given is the disaster response equivalent of a band-aid on a severed artery.
The FEMA people are present (sometimes), but they don't do anything, they just stand there and occasionally harass people for taking photos or loitering in parking lots. If anything, they are dedicating most of their time to delaying incoming resources and actively impeding independent rescue efforts. All while we have corpses strewn up in trees and people still trapped in their homes.
But for those looking to help, or if you are affected by Helene and need help, Appvoices has a page full of resources for those who need them and verified donation organizations that can reach those in need.
It is going to be a long road to recovery. This is a beautiful region filled with wonderful, strong people, please keep them in your hearts ❤️
#i know im over a week late on this sorry#but i have been in and out of the ER for the past week so i am also not exactly doing too well#Im no longer in critical condition and am staying with my parents to be monitored during recovery#and will be back to posting soon#but yeah hilarious that fema has literally set up a webpage addressing the 'rumors' about them#the us government will do the most heinous things and be like#'nooo we didnt do that. see we had a page where we said we didnt do that. stop saying we did that 🥺🥺'

FBI Director Kash Patel has made good on his promise to restore integrity within the Bureau. Patel has officially turned over explosive documents related to the mysterious pipe bomb incidents on January 6th to House Judiciary Chairman Jim Jordan (R-OH) and his investigative committee.
(…) In a detailed letter dated March 7, 2025, the FBI explicitly committed to transparency, declaring, “Under Director Patel’s leadership, the FBI remains committed to working with Congress to ensure transparency and the accountability the American people deserve.
(…) It can be recalled that a report released by the Committee on House Administration Subcommittee on Oversight into the January 6 pipe bomber shows the FBI stopped looking for the suspect in 2021 and covered up the evidence.
The FBI, under Chris Wray’s leadership, refused to cooperate with congressional investigators.
In September, former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino said, according to a whistleblower, after the pipe bombs were found at the RNC and DNC headquarters, “assets on the ground, including a whistleblower, was briefed about the pipe bombs the next day and show a picture of a guy in a hoodie.”
However, according to the whistleblower, the law enforcement agents were told to stand down two days later.
“Nearly four years later, federal law enforcement has yet to identity the individual responsible for planting the pipe bombs, which remains one of the unanswered questions from that day. In the early weeks of the investigation, the FBI took significant investigative steps, identifying multiple persons of interest, issuing search warrants, reviewing hours of security camera footage, and analyzing the components of the pipe bombs. Despite the threat the pipe bombs posed to Congress and the public and the role they played in diverting resources away from the Capitol, federal law enforcement has refused to provide substantive updates to Congress about the status of the investigation,” Rep. Barry Loudermilk’s report stated.
Loudermilk’s report said there has been conflicting information whether the FBI received “corrupted” cellular data from cell carriers.
“There is conflicting information as to whether the FBI received “corrupted” cellular data from the major cell carriers. A former senior FBI official testified that the major cell carrier companies provided “corrupted” cell data to the FBI and suggested that that “corrupted” data may have contained the identity of the pipe bomber; however, in responses to letters from the Subcommittee, the major cell carriers confirmed that they did not provide corrupted data to the FBI and that the FBI never notified them of any issues with accessing the cellular data,” the House report stated.
Also, FBI whistleblower Kyle Seraphin reported in May 2023 that the technicians who worked on the program told him the devices were inoperable.

Arthritis medications could reverse COVID lung damage - Published Sept 6, 2024
Arthritis drugs already available for prescription have the potential to halt lingering lung problems that can last months or years after COVID-19 infections, new research from the University of Virginia School of Medicine and Cedars-Sinai suggests.
By examining damaged human lungs and developing an innovative new lab model, the scientists identified faulty immune processes responsible for the ongoing lung issues that plague an increasing number of people after they've otherwise recovered from COVID-19. These lasting harms of COVID infection, known as "post-infection lung fibrosis," have no good treatments. The new research, however, suggests that existing drugs such as baricitinib and anakinra can disrupt the malfunctioning immune response and finally allow damaged lungs to heal.
"Using advanced technologies like spatial transcriptomics and sophisticated microscopy, we compared lung tissues from patients and animal models we developed in the lab. We found that malfunctioning immune cells disrupt the proper healing process in the lungs after viral damage. Importantly, we also identified the molecules responsible for this issue and potential therapeutic options for patients with ongoing lung damage."
"'Spatial-omics' are state-of-the-arts technologies that can measure the molecular features with spatial location information within a sample," explained researcher Chongzhi Zang, PhD, of UVA's Department of Genome Sciences. "This work demonstrates the power of spatial transcriptomics combined with data science approaches in unraveling the molecular etiology of long COVID."
The researchers note that the findings could prove beneficial not just for lung scarring from COVID but for lung fibrosis stemming from other sources as well.
"This study shows that treatments used for the acute COVID-19 disease may also reduce the development of chronic sequelae, including lung scarring," said Peter Chen, MD, the Medallion Chair in Molecular Medicine and interim chair of the Department of Medicine at Cedars-Sinai. "Our work will be foundational in developing therapies for lung fibrosis caused by viruses or other conditions."
Understanding COVID-19 lung damage The researchers – led by Sun, Chen and Zang – wanted to better understand the cellular and molecular causes of the lingering lung problems that can follow COVID infections. These problems can include ongoing lung damage and harmful inflammation that persists well after the COVID-19 virus has been cleared from the body.
The researchers began by examining severely damaged lungs from transplant patients at both UVA and Cedars-Sinai. None of the patients had a lung disease that would have required a transplant prior to contracting COVID-19, so the scientists were hopeful that the lungs would provide vital clues as to why the patients suffered such severe lung damage and persistent fibrosis. Using the insights they obtained, the scientists then developed a new mouse model to understand how normally beneficial immune responses were going awry.
The researchers found that immune cells known as CD8+ T cells were having faulty interactions with another type of immune cell, macrophages. These interactions were causing the macrophages to drive damaging inflammation even after the initial COVID-19 infection had resolved, when the immune system would normally stand down.
The scientists remain uncertain about the underlying trigger for the immune malfunction – the immune system may be responding to lingering remnants of the COVID-19 virus, for example, or there could be some other cause, they say.
The new research suggests that this harmful cycle of inflammation, injury and fibrosis can be broken using drugs such as baricitinib and anakinra, both of which have already been approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration to treat the harmful inflammation seen in rheumatoid arthritis and alopecia, a form of hair loss.
While more study is needed to verify the drugs' effectiveness for this new purpose, the researchers hope their findings will eventually offer patients with persistent post-COVID lung problems much-needed treatment options.
"Tens of millions of people around the world are dealing with complications from long COVID or other post-infection syndromes," Sun said. "We are just beginning to understand the long-term health effects caused by acute infections. There is a strong need for more basic, translational and clinical research, along with multi-disciplinary collaborations, to address these unmet needs of patients.

Will your walkable cities have guaranteed housing for all? Not just "we housed a thousand homeless people but there are 40,000 more waiting for space and nowhere to build", actual available housing.
Will they have safe parking to sleep in our cars without being harassed, and leave our cars at in the daytime to keep our stuff safe while we walk your walkable city?
Will they have plentiful benches, maybe even sheltered from the elements, and will we be allowed to sleep on them?
Will they have plentiful, safe, clean, well-stocked, 24/7 restrooms? Maybe even climate controlled? And will we be allowed to spend as long as we need to in them? Most homeless people have digestive issues because of our limited food access, if for no other reason.
Will they have free foot care clinics and mobility aids? We're already on our feet all day. It hurts. Many of us had mobility issues before becoming homeless.
Will you have free 24/7 transit for all, or will it be means tested, require residency, or have similar arbitrary limitations? How long will we be allowed to ride? Will there be easily accessible restrooms? Will it have posted maps at every stop, or will we have to use cellular data to find our way around? What measures will you take to prevent it becoming a superspreader system for Covid and other diseases?
(Actually, requiring a cellular or cable company to provide free public wifi as a substitute for part of their tax bill would be an interesting experiment. Or you could just make wifi a public utility. Still put up paper maps for transit though, we don't all have wifi capable devices or the ability to use them. Maybe even with Braille overlays on the plastic or something?)
If you're not allowing vehicles other than transit, what allowances are you making for grocery delivery, prepared food delivery (like Doordash type services), laundry service, diaper service, anything that doesn't require mobility-limited residents to use their steps? What's your plan for "I'm moving in or out of the walkable city and I need a moving truck for my furniture"?
How about "I'm buying groceries for two weeks for six hungry people and I can't carry it all home on the bus"? How about "My plumbing broke and the plumber needs his toolbox full of heavy tools and parts that *he* can't carry on the bus"? Will your buses/trains have luggage compartments, and how will the loading and unloading work with keeping a schedule?

Lunar dust less toxic than city pollution, study finds
As NASA prepares to send astronauts back to the moon for the first time in over 50 years, new research from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS) has found that lunar dust is less harmful to human lung cells than previously feared, and significantly less toxic than common Earth-based air pollution.
The UTS-led study, published in the journal Life Sciences in Space Research, provides reassuring data for the upcoming Artemis missions, which aim to establish a long-term human presence and a base on the moon. Lead researcher and UTS PhD candidate Michaela B. Smith investigated the impact of the most accurate, new-generation lunar dust simulants on human lung cells in the lab. She compared the effects to those of airborne particulate matter collected from a busy street in Sydney.
Smith said the health of astronauts was a concern after the Apollo missions, where crew members experienced respiratory issues.
The study found that while the sharp, abrasive lunar dust can act as a physical irritant, it did not cause the severe cellular damage or inflammation seen from the urban Earth dust. “It's important to distinguish between a physical irritant and a highly toxic substance,” Smith said.
“Our findings suggest that while lunar dust may cause some immediate irritation to the airways, it does not appear to pose a risk for chronic, long-term diseases like silicosis, which is caused by materials like silica dust.”
In Apollo, the primary route of exposure occurred after extravehicular activity. “When astronauts re-entered their landing module, fine dust that had clung to their spacesuits became airborne in the confined cabin and was subsequently inhaled, leading to respiratory issues, sneezing, and eye irritation,” said Smith.
“Any dust, if you inhale it, you'll sneeze, cough, and have some physical irritation. But it's not highly toxic like silica, where you end up with silicosis from being on a construction site for 10 years. It’s not going to be something like that,” said Smith.
The research focused on fine dust particles (≤2.5 micrometres), which are small enough to bypass the body's natural defences and penetrate deep into the lower airways of the lungs. The study used two different types of lung cells, representing the upper (bronchial) and lower (alveolar) regions of the lung.
Results showed that Earth dust induced a greater inflammatory response and was more toxic to the cells than the lunar dust simulants. The paper suggests the primary mechanism of toxicity from lunar dust is mechanical damage caused by the particles' irregular shape and rough edges as they are internalised by cells. Crucially, the lunar simulants did not trigger significant oxidative stress—a key chemical damage pathway often associated with fine particle toxicity.
“This likely means that if exposure occurs at levels typically found in air pollution on Earth, health effects would be minimal,” the authors conclude in the paper.
While the findings reduce a critical risk factor, NASA is still taking the threat of dust exposure seriously. Smith, who recently visited the NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, saw new engineering solutions firsthand.
“What they've done now is designed it so that the suits are actually attached to the outside of the rover,” she said. “The astronaut will climb in and out from inside, and the suit never goes inside, which prevents the dusty suit from ever contaminating the internal cabin environment.”
“While this research helps to reduce concerns about one critical risk factor, it’s important to note that NASA continues to treat dust exposure seriously and is developing robust mitigation strategies,” said Smith.
The research has paved the way for Smith’s current PhD work, which investigates the next frontier of space health: the effect of microgravity on lung function. In the lab, she uses a specialised rotating device to simulate the weightlessness experienced on the International Space Station, studying how it impacts the cellular structure and function of the lungs over time.
Smith’s PhD supervisor and study co-author Distinguished Professor Brian Oliver, from UTS and the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research, said this foundational work on lunar dust provides greater confidence for humanity’s next giant leap.
“The results contribute to the safety case for returning humans to the moon.”
“This research places our research group at UTS at the forefront of the space life sciences field, establishing us as key contributors to this vital area of research, particularly within Australia,” Oliver said.

J6 Shocker: Phone companies dispute FBI testimony on pipe bombs suspect, key lawmaker reveals
The new revelations heighten the mystery—and scrutiny of the FBI—surrounding one of the most disturbing security failures on the day of the Capitol riot.
Cellular carriers have told Congress they possess intact phone usage data from the vicinity where two pipe bombs were planted during the Jan. 6 incident, directly disputing FBI testimony that agents couldn't identify a suspect because the phone data was corrupted, a key House chairman tells Just the News.
The revelations from Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., the chairman of the House Administration oversight subcommittee, adds new intrigue to a debate that has gripped Washington for nearly four years: Why can't the FBI with so much evidence and manpower identify the suspect who planted the explosive devices at the Democrat and Republican Party headquarters hours before the Capitol was breached.
“In the days and weeks following January 6, 2021, the FBI opened an investigation into the pipe bomber and attempted to identify the suspect by analyzing cell phone data linked to the area surrounding the RNC and DNC,” Loudermilk told Just the News.
“In June 2023, the former Assistant Director in Charge of the FBI’s Washington Field Office, Steve D’Antuono, who oversaw the pipe bomb investigation, said that the FBI received corrupted data from one of the cell carriers and that it most likely contained the identity of the pipe bomber. Given the significance of this information, my Subcommittee sent letters to the three major cell carriers, asking them to respond to Mr. D’Antuono’s claim of corrupted data,” he said.
“Every major cell carrier responded and confirmed that they did not provide the FBI corrupted data,” Loudermilk said.
“Additionally every major cell carrier confirmed they were never notified that the FBI had any issues accessing the data. This contradictory testimony raises some serious questions about the status of the investigation into the pipe bomber and about why the case remains unsolved nearly four years later,” he added.
Last year, D’Antuono told the House Judiciary Committee that the FBI did not a receive complete phone data from telephone carriers because some of it had been corrupted.

I'm finding lots of inconveniences with the Neue post format and on mobile compared to the old system. Primarily in how tags work. I have several long tags that I use semi frequently (once every week or two), but not daily, and I have to manually type them out almost every time (ex: +#I am crossover loving trash #my precious gem child [and show titles, ect]). Why aren't constantly repeated tags showing up in suggestions as I type? And do they have to make everything lowercase? it's quite clunky.
Answer: Hey, @lightanddarklove!!
So, first things first. The post format has nothing to do with tags. Instead, this seems like an issue with how tags are being suggested, which we already have folk behind the scenes looking into. We agree that this is not optimal—and hope to have this resolved sooner rather than later.

Page Optimization Best Practices: A Blueprint for Online Growth
Page optimization is an essential system in virtual advertising and net development that ensures websites are person-friendly, functional, and aligned with seek engine tips. Has anyone else been running into an issue lately where tumblr mobile will stop loading images/etc until you switch from wifi to cellular or vice versa? Because this has been my life for the past like, month. It’ll stop loading shit right, then I’ll turn off my wifi and it’ll be fine, I’ll scroll for a while using data (which I thankfully have an unlimited plan so it’s not a big deal for me) then it’ll stop loading shit right, and I’ll turn wifi back on and it’ll go back to normal. And like, I know it’s not my wifi or my cell connection, because both work fine for other apps n shit.

Starfield Rant
My ONE big splurge of the year (I allow myself one splurge a year because of all our debt we're trying to pay off)--bought before I got so sick and realized we were going to have to return to the US--and it turns out to be the most poorly-written game I have ever played.
I could have gotten Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, or a couple or three of those put together for what it cost to pre-order Starfield.
Starfield has so much going for it in so many ways, and I was so excited, because I'd been waiting for YEARS for it to release. And I do enjoy certain aspects of it, but oh, my Sagan the writing is SO BAD! It'll probably be the last Bethesda game I purchase--at least until they get a competent head writer.
Look, I'm pretty generous with hand-waving stuff away, but how do you make a space game without even knowing the difference between a planetary system and a galaxy? How do you write ANYTHING without any attention at all to verisimilitude? How can you not know the difference between a transcript and a recording? How do you write a world with equipment that can do detailed genetic and cellular tissue analysis in seconds, but not have a single biologist figure out that the most ubiquitous in-game pest and the most-feared hostile creature are the same species?
How do you accidentally make a supposedly sympathetic character into a monster who abandons their crew on a hostile world for twenty years (resulting in the deaths of all crash survivors and the orphaning of the daughter of two survivors), when said character knows exactly how to find them--because the character "just can't face their past?" (She indicates she knew there might be survivors, but even if she thought they all died, you always MAKE SURE. The UC Navy is complicit here, as well.)
It goes beyond that, too. Sarah's entire quest is written in a way that makes her seem like a villain. First, if the real issue was "facing her past," all she had to do was tell someone, "Hey, the location of the other shuttle is on the computer in the shuttle I crashed in. Go rescue them or recover their remains." But she didn't tell anyone.
Then also notice that Sona talks about how excited she was to leave with the Crimson Fleet pirates and how she cried when they left without her, but goes into a screaming tirade when Sarah offers to take her away, although she is adamant--but not convincing--when she goes out of her way to declare her parents' admiration for Sarah and how Sarah did nothing wrong.
Conclusion: Sarah did something awful, was willing to sacrifice her crew to keep anyone from finding out, and was only willing to be pushed into checking on them twenty years later because she assumed they'd all be dead by then. This entire quest is written exactly the way I'd write it if I wanted to make clear (without directly stating it), that Sarah was an evil person who was, perhaps not willing to kill to keep her secret, but was perfectly willing to ALLOW multiple people she could have saved by speaking a single sentence to die rather than have that secret revealed.
And all you'd have to do to fix it is make it so Sarah was found AWAY from her campsite, and her own shuttle wasn't found until just now, and she was offered a chance to be the one to check on it. Or make it so the data isn't on her computer, but somehow now, after twenty years, Sona accidentally tripped and emergency beacon that her parents never activated because they didn't know the war was over. There are other solutions; I'm just saying it would be easy for any halfway competent writer to not fuck this up.
There's other stuff just in that one quest that is way off, and outside of that quest, I could easily give a hundred or more other examples off the top of my head of just lazy, objectively bad writing that any creative writing teacher (or any competent editor) would circle in red with some polite variation of, "WTF?" The ONLY good thing about the writing is the punched-up dialogue. That's it.
I mean, Skyrim has a lot of basic mistakes, too (like not knowing the difference between seep and steep), but with Starfield, it appears that Bethesda has just completely given up on any semblance of decent writing. I'd put the writing on the level of, say, the old Power Rangers shows, except that would be an insult to those who wrote for those shows.
Then again, Emil Pagliorulo (Bethesda's "writing director") has zero qualifications as a writer. I personally know at least a dozen authors (some critically-acclaimed, award-winning, and best-selling) who could do a better job, but who have to keep non-writing day jobs to make ends meet while this jackass gets paid for a job he's nowhere remotely qualified for. Hell, Pagliorulo has publicly declared his disdain for the very idea of trying to write well, saying that if you give the players a book, they will just "tear out the pages and make paper airplanes."
Like, dude, that just means you need to get some chops and write a better book.
