Cephalon interpretations, 2019. Especially Cy because I have not recovered from hearing his voice.
Originally inspired and referenced from maunderfiend/maundoi's works; I need to go back to these and update them sometime.
I misspelled Ordis fuck

fan-made Cephalon for my Tenno
Tumblr media
Warning! Flashing image (just a bit).
Tumblr media
Tsall is the cephalon of the old corpus ship, which once, passing by the Void, lost control and crashed. The cephalon's sensors were damaged and he could not determine if his crew was still alive (which was not), so he was stuck in the Void for many years without any senses and only constantly sent rescue signals that did not reach the addressees.
By chance, his signal is picked up by a Tenno, who explains to Tsall what happened to his ship and takes him to the Orbiter (I really like Ordis, but, lets say, my Tenno-OC didn't have a cephalon installed on the ship before this)
By the way, Tsall, unlike most cephalons, almost does not glow, and he has absolutely no idea how to work with Tenno technologies, but he really tries
And I hardly know English, but the Ukrainian-speaking part of the fandom does not often come across to me in social networks, so we work with what we have :/

Decided to do a drawing of my OC Raphael's cephalon...Raphael is a strange sort, one might say he's allowed an infestation into his life...in the worst ways possible.

Cephalon Simaris really doesn't understand personal space! Simaris really sits in your face when you go to talk to it. And hangs over you if you walk around the central the other console. Instagram Post

Thoery: Cyber-Loid isn't a True Cephalon like Otak (i.e. a physical person, Glassed to become a digital personality) but something different… possibly a true artificial intelligence, a copy derived from a backed up conscious of Meat-Loid while the original still exists (A La SOMA).
Cephalons were so common was because of the Orokins being afraid of rely on genuinely sentient artificial beings (especially after the Sentient Wars), and made sure their digital assistants were always human-derived (mainly those that their society would deem expendable enough to permanently turn into glorified Alexas. Add in how dismissive Meat-Loid is of Cyber-Loid, plus Cyber-Loid being EXTREMELY distraught at the concept of being able to "dream", referring to himself as a Construct and only noting Otak as a cephalon
Cyber-Loid was never human at all, but basically Pinnochio'd his way into his own identity, possibly assisted by having to share a brain case with Otak, a cephalon who was at some point human. Meat-Loid, having been preserved, does not know nor care to acknowledge Cyber-Loid beyond a servant construct, either out of a cultural distrust or simply because he couldn’t fathom the idea of his backup becoming anyone other than himself.

CW: Plural Fusion
In the world of Warframe, if someone that's plural is turned into a cephalon do they juggle back and forth like Ordis and Ordan?
Do they just pop in and out with different names/voices/etc like switching?
Can each alter be turned into their own cephalon? (I know that would be impossible for some plural people especially those that are blurry and/or fractured)
Would the Orokin, the disgusting society they were, just force some type of final fusion?

On the topic of Ordis, how did you feel when you learned that before he was a Cephalon, he was The Beast Of Bones?
Alright back after unfucking my dashboard.
Honestly? I felt bad for Ordis, and began to dislike him significantly less. Though, I do wish he hadn't given up himself to protect us. If I had my way, I would restore him myself, he doesn't deserve his fate. The Orokin are monsters, and they deserve the fate they received. While not all of them were so comically evil, I do think it's for the best that they've disappeared from the Milky Way. I can't judge Ordis for being a killer. Honestly, I don't think any Tenno can. While circumstances may be different, we have a proverbial; and possibly literal; ocean of blood at our feet. We're all killers in some regard. Even if it's just to protect ourselves.
